Great place for great food! We had a very delicious meal at the Fisheterian, the shop inside was cool, you can order at kiosks or inside, dog friendly, great staff! The fish tacos were a HIT! And it was fun trying all the different hot sauces they provide!

Glad we stopped by! Food was very fresh - seaweed salad tasted crunchier/springier than when you go to a sushi restaurant. The beer battered fish was a bit too doughy but the fish itself was good. The tacos needed more sauce, we had to add tartar and some Maui Wowie. As someone from New England, the New England clam chowder was not as creamy/thick as normal. It could’ve used more pepper or spice. The shop also had the best merch - marketing 100/100. Designs were super cute and I wanted to buy everything.

A Must-Visit in Bodega Bay! We absolutely loved our meal at Fishetarian! Every bite was incredible — from the fresh, flavorful fish tacos to the creamy clam chowder bread bowl that hit the spot on a coastal day. The garlic oysters were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, and we loved washing it all down with their ice-cold bottled sodas. And don’t even get me started on dessert — the brownie bar was rich and fudgy, and the raspberry cheesecake was the perfect sweet finish. The staff was friendly, the ocean breeze set the perfect vibe, and everything tasted as fresh as it gets. If you’re anywhere near Bodega Bay, do yourself a favor and stop at Fishetarian — it’s coastal comfort food at its best!

We came to Fishetarian on a Saturday around 2pm for lunch on a coastal girls weekend road trip. Ordering at the kiosks was straightforward, and we were able to get a picnic table outside by the water. It's a popular stop, so we waited a bit for food, by it's so nice just sitting by the water. There is ample outdoor seating from the waterfront tables to the tented area and side of the restaurant. We split the calamari and barbecued oysters, and I tried the chowder and ordered the fish tacos for myself. Everything was so fresh and flavorful, definitely worth the wait. I ended up falling in love with their hot sauce and brought multiple bottles home. Would definitely stop here again on our next road trip north.

Do not skip this if you are in the area! Our group of 6 loved this meal so much, we talked about it during our entire trip. We had the beer battered fish tacos, fish and sweet potato fries, calamari, clam chowder, and the beer sampler. The prices matched the quality of food and the gorgeous view right on the bay. I wish we has a Fishetarian near me in Utah!

Some of the best clam chowder I've ever had! Perfectly balanced flavors - sometimes I have a hard time finishing chowder because it's too creamy but this was just right! Bonus points for the house made hot sauce that pairs sooo well with the chowder. The sourdough was also incredibly fresh! We ate outside overlooking the bay which was awesome. Highly recommend!

Dem some good eats right there. The Fishertarian Fish Market in Bodega Bay is that seafood picnic you've been craving. Oyster, crabs, shrimp, chowder, fish and chips and more. Whatever your belly might be craving from the sea can be had. Ample side selections, beers in cans, bottles or on tap, ah yes, yes, its chow time. The shop is well lit, and stocked, order at the counter or via screen, either will get earn you ample deliciousness . While you wait, salivate over dessert choices, or check out the merch, there is something for everyone. Oh yeah there is fresh to go, or have prepared available as well. Once you grab your grub, head out to one of the outdoor or indoor tables, make yourself comfortable, and dig in, its belly rubbing time. Food goes down way to easy, you didn't think you'd finish that but you did. Limp away pleased and full. It's fun, its festive, the quintessential coast eatery experience.

Fishetarian Fish Market is a wonderful restaurant in Bodega Bay with great views on the water. The food and service are outstanding amazing! The menu will provide you a wide selection of items and you may have a difficult time deciding just what you was to select. There is an amazing selection of beverages and deserts to compliment your meal. In addition, as you enter the restaurant and wind your way through the lobby and restaurant to order, there's an amazing selection of items you may be interested in purchasing from sweatshirts, wines, and candies to smoked salmon. Fishetarian Fish Market displays a long line of awards they have received for Best Restaurant over a number of years! Well deserved! Found this place online and it did not disappoint! The clam chowder sourdough bread bowl was amazing! The fish/ prawn and sweet potato fries were also really good! I would definitely recommend! They also have picnic tables right beside the water- we were lucky enough to see 4 seals! They have 2 options for ordering- kiosk outside or inside at the counter.

What a neat spot! Went on Valentine’s Day over presidents weekend and it was extremely busy. Still managed to get a table for 6 of us. Great selection of beers (most are hoppy). Prices are definitely steep but worth it for the experience. Not bang for buck but you know that you’re always getting very fresh seafood and it’s. Great vibe eating it on the coast

The line for the self order kiosk outside can be really slow (half an hour on a MLK at 3pm), but once you order the food comes out quickly. Fries were decent, tuna sandwich was good, fried fish needed some salt. House hot sauce was great.

Looking for an affordable place to eat while visiting Bodega Bay? This is one of couple of choices. Friendly staff, good food, easy to order and outside eating. It can be chilly so bring a jacket while you eat the delicious food. If you are looking for an ocean view, sorry this place does not offer that so you can take the food to car in the parking lot to give you a view of the bay or sit on the couple of benches which are nearby to sit and enjoy the view.

This place is tricky to rate. The food is overall solid, with the Lobster Roll being the clear standout—one of the best I’ve had, with buttery bread and generous lobster. The Clam Chowder was tasty but not memorable, and the Fish & Chips didn’t quite live up to the hype. The real challenge here is logistics. Parking is tough—both the lot and nearby streets are packed. Seating is limited (a handful indoors, mostly outdoors), so we ended up ordering to-go, which still took about an hour. The packaging is nice, though the stylish disposable cutlery could use more functionality. On the plus side, their branded merchandise—hoodies, totes, tumblers—looks great, even if browsing is tough with the constant crowd. If you’re patient and manage expectations, it’s worth it for the lobster roll alone.

We had a lobster roll and calamari with chips. The lobster roll was stuffed full and tasty. The calamari was cooked well, but the breading didn't stick to well. It was good enough to order again. It was 6pm on a Wednesday evening and was busy, but didn't have a long wait for food. No real service, but it was clean. There's seating inside and out. Go past the doors for tables by the water. It was tourist expensive. $80 for the two items and two bottles of tea.

Very busy but definitely worth the wait. Plenty of seats on the water if you want to dine in. Lots of options to choose from for the entire family. We got raw and bbq oysters, clam chowder, fish & chips, and the fish tacos. Everything was fresh and tasted yum. A great way to finish off a day in Bodega Bay.

Great location to eat right off the water. Great atmosphere, relaxed, great music, indoor, outdoor seating. Outdoor is patio table seating some covered areas. Food portion and quality was good. Very fresh, beer batter coating had a great crunch, however food was very bland. If the fish was properly seasoned it would be excellent!! Atmosphere was excellent, staff were great. Would return with my own seasoning.

Nice location along the water. You order on a computer kiosk and they call your name. Long lines for the bathrooms. As for the food, it was ok but the shrimp were cold and the fish was fresh but quite under seasoned. Clam chowder was pretty good and the oysters were also tasty. Feels like a tourist trap type of place. Nothing wrong with it but I wouldn’t necessarily choose to go back.

Recently stopped here for lunch on our way up the coast and was great! We ordered the fish tacos and the crab sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fish tacos were delicious, the battered fish was tasty and so fresh. The crab sandwich was also good, with a generous amount of crab in the sandwich!
