Opinions de Starbucks Boerne
Employees were awesome! My food was great. This place is way too busy in the lines are way too long. Creates a serious parking issue. Maybe they need to open a sister location on the other side of the highway lol :-)
Drive thru is very dangerous...people leaving on one side of you and entering through another. Weird set up. But Frappuccino was topnotch as was the Oleata (?).
A group of 8 of us arrived at 2:55 on Christmas day. Walked in placed our order. The staff went to work and made our drinks with smiles. Never did they tell us they close at 3pm or make us feel bad. Great staff with awesome customer service.
Great local Starbucks. Amazing baristas who are friendly and remember their customers! I am perplexed by some of these negative reviews. This is my neighborhood Starbucks and I frequent it at least 3 times a week. On a Saturday when they are crowded or right before school starts during the week, the wait may be a little longer, but I have never experienced the rudeness and apathy people are describing -- quite the opposite. I love my Starbucks - try it for yourself.
Super nice employees who work quickly and have a smile on their face. They have never gotten my order wrong. I don't need a handful of napkins in the drive through window. Feels like a waste but other than that I can't complain.
The staff here are so awesome, friendly, always smiling and happy ! The pleasure I had the of being served by Taylor in the drive-through and Bri at the register and both of these girls are amazing very professional always smiling made my day!
Went inside to order due to the fact that I always order My beverages in my own cup ( a Yeti cup ) it keeps my beverages very hot for a lone time my beverage of choice this time of year is Pumpkin spice X-tra hot made with blonde no whip no foam in personal cup, the person operating the register was very attentive and polite they were busy but I received my drink in a short amount of time and as always with Pumpkin spice it tasted great the store inside and out was very clean. Hard to see get to but well worth your effort. Have a good Pumpkin spice day.
I went at about 11:00 in the morning and spoke to the nicest cashier up front. (I think she might have been a manager and was very friendly!) Usually this location takes a while with making drinks, but this time I got mine in a matter of minutes, which was nice!
Tiniest parking lot but huge heart! The staff keep this place pumping. I’m the guy that changes his mobile order name all the time. Something punny or objectively funny. The staff here always seem to laugh and enjoy it, it brightens my day when it seems I brighten their day. The drive through is really fast and by mobile ordering ahead my caramel Frappuccino or green tea matchas or nitro Cold brews are always ready and waiting for me.
Had a great experience at Boerne Starbucks today. A prompt and friendly greeting on entering was followed by solid recommendations for iced and cold-brew coffee for my wife and I. I really appreciate the cleanliness, attention to detail, and openness of this location's processes. Under 5 minutes for two specialty drinks during a moderately busy time. The friendliness of the staff seemed to flow from the apparent happiness of the workers. Liam is our favorite there but the entire team was efficient without seeming rushed. Overall a great experience.
I wanted to thank the staff here for their excellent customer service. The one on I10 and 46 went out of their way to help us out. Taylor was very kind and engaging. We walked to the store from our hotel (in town to visit a relative on hospice) and despite staffing issues and the lobby being closed, they met our needs, even before knowing the story.
I use the Starbucks app to order in advance. This insanely hectic location never fails. My order is always right and on time. Even with cars wrapped around the building and people flowing in and out the doors; my barrista still smiles and thanks me every time. Kudos to the service these employees still provide when it's almost unfounded today!! Thanks Boerne team!!
I drop by here when I’m in Boerne which is quite often. This time the coffee had very little flavor. Hot chocolate white mocha was subpar. It has happened a few times but I still have hope it will be done right. Otherwise a good place.
I mean it's not in the most convenient location... and the lot is pretty tiny, but I'm not kidding you that some of my best cups of Starbucks coffee have come out of this location. I'll deal with the awkward location for a great drink!
I stop at Starbucks where ever I travel and it's always a great experience. The people are friendly, efficient, and the espresso is awesome. The locations are always clean and well maintained. I visit just about every day and can recommend Starbucks to everyone.
This Starbucks is a favorite stop for cyclists and is situated on a popular route. The shop is always very clean and the baristas are friendly.
I would not normally take the time to rate a Starbucks. I did not want to go here because the line to the drive up was super long. It pretty much moved right through and we had our coffees quickly. They were good as well.
I didn't order any food but my daughter got a drink. I found the last cup to a collection I had been seeking. I also mentioned a mishap with another cup from the same collection. The young lady (I think her name was Natalie per my daughter) was patient and amazing. The manager/shift supervisor (Willie) stepped in and assisted and provided a partial refund for another cup! For this generosity, I tipped most of it back through the app and went back to tip in person. I love this crew, they need a raise! Wish I could take them back to AZ with me.
Every barista was HUSTLING! They were really busy at 10am. Everyone seemed to be in and out fairly quick on the inside. And leaving happy 😁. Great job y'all!
Really great coffee, outside rush hours the coffee is very quick to come out, and the flavor is always consistent. If you see Andrea working there, you can be sure you'll be getting top notch service!
I don’t understand why this place has such low reviews. The staff is extremely friendly, and the coffees are always well made. Yes, the drive-thru line is often long, but it’s the only Starbucks for miles, so that’s completely understandable. I’ve always used the drive-thru, and every single time, the team at the window has been kind, considerate, and genuinely attentive. You can tell they make everything with care. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Good coffee. Daughter loves Strawberry refresher. Come here regularly!
I love love love their coffee. I can't eat their food due to having celiac but other people say it's good. God bless you and good luck pick out goodies. Oh and order extra syrup so your drink.
I always have great service at this Starbucks. But the hours posted on google say 10:30 pm closed and we just went through drive through at 9:20 pm and it’s closed.
There was a wait in the drive-through, however, it moved very quickly. Food and drinks were hot and tasty.
I ordered a Summer Breeze . tasted great as usual. The young man in drive thru was the nicest person. I would hire him if I had a business immediately. Service fast.
I returned again to this Starbucks and the consistency is the same. Wait time was about 5 minuet. Overall great job! This starbucks did a great job with getting the two drinks I ordered. The drinks were on point and staff was super friendly. I will return in the future. Great Job Star Bucks Team!
This Starbucks is 10/10! I had a bunch of Starbucks-y things to take care of (reload card, use points, have multiple orders, birthday drink etc etc) but the staff was on it! She took it all in stride and had no issues at all! Super slick. As other reviewers mentioned, there isn’t really parking. I ended up parking in the church lot next door. All drinks were just right and came out in a timely manner. Overall store was clean, drinks were perfect, and staff were wonderful. Great job & would totally recommend!
Very quick service. Faster than most Starbucks locations in the Houston are, at least. However the girl at the window didnt pay too mucb attention to the order. She gave us our drinks without giving us any food. After reminding her that we had food, she forgot the straw. It is understandable during a rush but for how empt the drive through was, it was pretty disappointing.
This Starbucks is clean and decent. I have never had a problem with my order and I have accomplished a lot of important work here. The only downside to this Starbucks is the inside table space. There are four two person tables but only one four person table. But overall, it's a good cup of joe.
If you go to drive thru, you get your order fast but if you go in store, they don't care about you enough. You have to wait and wait until someone takes your order. Drive thru customers are much more important for them.
Excellent, friendly service. Drinks are consistent and delicious; only had a couple that were off / mistakes. The only big problem with the store is not the fault of the staff: it’s the parking lot. I will not let this effect my rating, but it’s a prominent issue to keep in mind. You have to park in the church parking lot, or you’ll be stuck for 20 minutes trying to back out of a space. The drive thru line usually runs into the parking lot and traps parked cars in. I’m hoping that they will renovate at some point because it’s ridiculous to spend 20 minutes trying to get OUT of a parking lot.
Way crowded, but my coffee is always great.
Starbucks is always great! Haven’t been to ours at Boerne for a while because of the road construction but that has improved. I was impressed with the different and increase menu items for breakfast and lunch. Prices seamed reasonable in these times of inflation. Plus the convenience of driving by the window to pick up your delicious and they show how nutritious the meals can be! Swing by and take a look and pick something up your favorite selection. Great signage to help you with your choices!
Their regular Caffe Americano is good way to start work. I particularly appreciate that they offer a good variety, but a regular coffe is enough for me. The atmosphere is generally cozy and inviting, making it a nice place to get some work done or spend sometimewith your significant other. My only reason for not giving it five stars is that sometimes the line can get a bit long, and has become a bit uncomfortable how they ask for the tip. Minor issues, but not enough for the extra star. Still, definitely recommend for a great cup of coffee!" Now, costumer service always great!!
Perhaps the worst designed entry/exit/parking I've ever encountered. And this is new construction! Someone actually designed, approved and built this version of Bottleneck City. Worst design... includes detours, highway construction, sink holes, country roads, mud holes and caliche pits. Do not try to park in the lot. Save yourself the aggravation and use the church next door. Trust me...you'll understand once you see how idiotic it is.
Extremely crowded with long line for drive-thru. These people always take the drive-thru first, and make the inside people wait. Can be extremely rude. It's got to be the worst Starbucks we ever stop at. Unfortunately, we have a lot of family here and this is what we get stuck with. Need to build a new one, bigger with more than a couple parking spaces and need to find somebody to hire that has a little personality.
Too crowded inside and out…should be a larger footprint (right off the Interstate) next Starbucks is ten miles away. Staff does the best they can considering the volume coupled with frustrated customers that have to park in the church parking lot in order to prevent traffic issues, on and around the property! Perfect reason to build a second Starbucks in one of the most popular (and growing) towns around! Population has doubled in less than 10 years and on pace to double again in 5-7 more years!
This is the only Starbucks in town. I usually avoid it on the weekends and early mornings. The drive-thru can extend all the way into the street. Whoever built this did not consider the primary rule of real estate that is location, location, location! The parking often overflows into the Church of Christ parking lot next door and I'm sure those folks don't appreciate it. It's just not enough room. One tragic but also hilarious thing is when they have their deliveries late at night, the 18-wheelers always have a hard time backing up into this tiny little area. Only a few weeks ago, I saw an 18-wheeler back up and rip off its front bumper trying to navigate into the tiny parking lot. I'm not sure if he was a new driver or if Starbucks needs to trim some of their hedges but it was a sight to be seen! If I had taken video footage I would surely post it. If there's not a line and you want Starbucks, this is the place to go.
Parking lot, what parking lot?. Plan on parking at the church next door and walking over you have to stop and go in for any reason. Do not even consider pulling into the parking lot with a trailer of any kind. Theres no exit without circling around the drive through so you wont have a good time. They have a place for a dumpster but it sits in a parking spot instead. Oh and the whole place is fenced in. You gotta go towards the road. Walk through some mud and you can get across. The food n drink products are decent. the layout is junk.
Not the friendliest crew, took forever to get our order, and then one of the drinks was wrong. Didn't bother to get it fixed because I didn't have enough time to waste doing that. Parking lot is tiny and the whole thing looks like it's set up to be a drive-thru and as an afterthought they thought people might want to come inside. Has anyone else noticed that anything iced now is mostly ice and it waters everything down instantly? There's a reason I always buy hot drinks and when I get an iced drink by mistake it only proves my point and I go back to hot drinks immediately.
It always takes longer than anticipated/estimated to get your order at this Starbucks. We live less than 10 minutes away and when we order on the app from home and come to pick it up it's never ready by the estimated pickup time. I know it's an estimate, but it should be fairly close to when they expect to have the order ready. Today we were out so we ordered when we got to the store and sat in the car until the order was supposed to be ready at 10:31am in 6-9 minutes, went into the store at 10:35am, and our order wasn't completed and ready until 10:42am. Need to do better!
Wonderful coffee place. Parking just atrocious and the line is always across the parking lot to the road. They always make the best coffee and great customer service!
There are two Starbucks in the area—one on Highway 46 and another down in Leon Springs. Same drinks. Same overpriced snacks. But only one feels like it’s run by a group project that forgot it was due today. The Highway 46 location takes the crown for “Most Disorganized Caffeine Dispensary.” The last three times I’ve stopped in, I’ve waited over 15 minutes for a simple drink. No line in the drive-thru. Hardly anyone inside. Just pure, unfiltered chaos behind the counter. It’s like they’re speedrunning how not to run a Starbucks. The staff seems lost, like they wandered in from a different job and just decided to give barista life a whirl. The vibe? Less cozy coffeehouse, more DMV with espresso machines. Avoid this one unless you enjoy watching confusion steep longer than your tea
The staff here is amazing super friendly and always pretty happy ! The location is great. It's always packed full of customers. The entire lay out of this Starbucks is however, frustrating. The drive thru blocks you into parking spaces , the very narrow entrance/ exit is like playing a game of frogger trying to cross and if you drive a larger vehicle exiting with another vehicle pulling in is really sketchy. This location needs to expand its foot print for safety.
They rarely have enough people working. Service is painfully slow most of the time. I ordered ahead on the app and walked inside to pick up my 2 drinks. I waited over 15 minutes and my drinks still weren't ready. I had to leave without my order because I couldn't wait any longer without being late for work. I sent my husband to pick up the order shortly after because I had already paid and they don't give refunds. He still waited 20 minutes for 2 drinks. This was around 5:30pm on a Saturday.
This is by far the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to in the country; and I've traveled all over. Everyday we come here we're in the drive thru line at least 15 to 20 minutes. There is always a traffic jam on the street and online ordering is worse. The people are friendly but they either need more employees or need to review their organizational process.
These poor baristas! They are so kind and you can tell they are frustrated with the situation. They are ALWAYS under staffed, so yes it is super slow service. Sweet workers but managers need to do better.
This is the starbucks i only come to on the weekends, Everytine i come it’s an issue with my mobile order. Never once have I had an issue with my mobile order at every starbucks i go to during the week. The attitude is even more crazy😂. Definitely will be driving to a different starbucks
Alright. I frequent varies of Starbucks, but this one was pretty off brand for a Starbucks. They didn’t acknowledge us at all, at first it was ok…no typical “hi welcome to starbuck,” I guess they’re really busy…BUT TO NOT EVEN tell us our order was ready was really poor customer service and to add another insult there was no” Bye, have a nice day!” Like c’mon, I’ve visited the largest Starbucks in the US and they see plenty of people come in and out of that door someone at least says “HI or Welcome” you don’t even have to look or hound us just make us feel welcomed. Anyways. I’d say skip this Starbucks and head to another. This one needs to be revamped on its customer service training.
This is the slowest drive thru I’ve ever been to. The line is always wrapped around the building at out onto the road. What is the problem here? Starbucks is a major corporation I know they can afford to hire a few more employees to get this operation moving faster.
I usually don’t like making a review unless it’s a good one because I work in the food industry so I am very understandable when it comes to these things. But I came tonight to get a few drinks, so I went to the drive thru and no one was saying anything at the mic in the drive thru. So I drove up to the window and there were about 4 employees . Two younger girls looked right at me at the window and just laughed and started talking to eachother . So I waited another minute and went around to go inside but there was a sign on the door saying they were temp. Closed. That’s fine, but they could had came to the window and simply said “ sorry we are closed “ .
Horrendously disorganized. They prioritize making drinks (understandable since there’s a drive through) but don’t make the pastries or cookies ready promptly. I received my coffee in less than five minutes and my cookies and danish in 20 minutes
Guess I picked up my mobile order to early as I got this rude note and unfilled cup. Baristas when they have to do the job they are being paid to do: 😵💫😭🤯😱😡
Overpriced and the coffee is terrible. This location is inconveniently placed and cars back up along the road to get in the drive through.
Whoever picked this location to design and build a Starbucks should be fired. Everything is cramped and hard for people to drive in and out.
I have always loved Starbucks, but this location and the workers displeased me. I had ordered my usual Carmel Latte and instead got a Latte with Carmel syrup. I confronted them about it and the lady refused to believe me and told me that it was, in fact, a Carmel latte. I have had this drink often, and know exactly what it is supposed to taste like, and this was not the drink I wanted. Overall, horrible customer service.
Worst Starbucks location!! The parking lot is so small and it's taken over by the drive thru line. The line was wrapper around the building but the Starbucks by my house in San Antonio is pretty quick so I went for it. The line seriously didn't move. I had 30 minutes to be at my appointment less than a mile away. In 15 minutes I only moved up 4 cars. However, I could not even pull into a parking space and back out because the drive thru line over powers the little parking lot. Finally 23 minutes into my wait I was able to pull around enough to get free. I just told them I no longer had time to order anything. I will never try that location again! Poor location planning on Starbucks part. This is the only Starbucks in Boerne. Way way way too slow! And once you're in line, you're stuck!
Ordered online and went to get my sandwich, the store was packed. I waited ten minutes before I finally got fed up and went to get a refund. While I was waiting to get a refund they checked to see if my sandwich was being made they quickly put it in. I couldn’t wait any longer as I was late already because I was waiting so long. I understand that they were busy but I didn’t even get my sandwich or refund!
Ordered a grande white chocolate mocha iced w whip ..lord I leave an take a drink ..purely an iced coffee dark as the depths of hell black . This starbucks lately has been lacking and makes me not want to go there again .total waste of my money didn't drink .
They say that delivery should be located in the same place as online orders. The girl on pick up orders ignored me and didn’t notice me. I had to approach another girl and it turns out my order had been ready for a long time.
Went to Starbucks this morning to get A latte and it was horrible water and cream. Where is the coffee ? Very disappointed
I understand Starbucks was closed and delayed opening the shop but dont leave us sitting in the drive through without saying anything. I called because I saw people working but when i called there were like.....Oh im sorry were closed at the moment and this was like at 8:45 am. At least tell us through the drive through your closed. RUDE!
So I went here the other night just because my daughter wanted a cake pop. It was 7:59 and I didn’t realize they closed at 8 now. But the person made us wait at the drive thru until 8:01 and then said sorry we are closed. I said aww man all we wanted was a cake pop. Needless to say she was just like well sorry. I wasn’t even asking for a drink just a cake pop. I own a business and would have gotten a cake pop for a little girl even if it was 8:05. If I was still in the store I would do that. Guess that is the difference between small business and a big business. The customer service as this location has been declining for years. I used to visit here daily. But not anymore. The taste of products have declined and the customer service I used to receive is gone. I won’t be back even though I live right down the street. Worst customer service experience.
I went indoors, ordered one tea, waited 15 minutes, when I questioned my order, I was told I had to wait for all the Mobile phone orders Because they were ahead of me??I simply wanted to have some tea indoors listen to the music and enjoy the atmosphere, but I was told to wait after all the mobile orders
I waited for about a good ten, fifteen minutes for my Starbucks order. After finally leaving and getting to my destination I realized that I had received the wrong order, the order was specifically given to me as my order however. I understand that it was really busy this morning, but there was no structure to the way in which things were being done, everyone was running around.
Manager is never in store regardless of the time I arrive (I have come every day since January). There are consistently only one or two people scheduled in the night… having to watch them run a store with such long lines every single night makes me feel guilty for coming. I will not be returning, until this store finds a competent manager who is willing to schedule an appropriate amount of people.
I drove up to order and it smells so disgusting out back. Smells like something died with all the trash smell back there. I all most threw up. Star bucks take some pride and clean up your trash! It’s disgusting for customers I all most left and didn’t even order! Looks like they don’t care still keeping trash out by where you order!
This is my local Starbucks, so I stop here maybe 3-4 times out of the week on my way to work. I've never had a bad experience, till today. The girl that took my order through the drive thru was the best, she had a great vibe and a very kind tone of voice. When I get to the window expecting to see the same girl that took my order with the great energy, i found somebody else. This other girl I'm not sure her name but she is white, curly hair, i couldn't see the name tag. Had the worse attitude and fake. She snap the $20 out of my hand when I asked her how much was it, she just took the money didn't say anything to me. I had the change in my hand and was gonna give it to her with the $20. After I told her it was very rude of her to take my money like that, then she said sorry. I am a firm believer that if someone doesn't like their job, they should just move on to do something they like. People are already having problems and bad moments in their life... no one needs to go somewhere to pick up coffee and find a rude person. I hope she changes her attitude. Whoever she is.
Bad Custumer service and rude actitud, I will never came back .
Got stuck in the drive through for 26 minutes today and when I arrived at the window my drink wasn’t made correctly. I asked them to remake it and they gave me attitude. Awful experience!! Terrible customer service
NOT the place to work or study… The music was not only bad but EXTREMELY loud and gave me a headache while I was waiting for my drink. This was the most un-chill and annoyingly noisy Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I planned to stay a while and study and maybe have lunch, but it was unbearable and I had to leave; when I politely asked the staff if they would be able to lower the volume, they brushed it off and didn’t help. 0/10 for atmosphere but my latte was delicious. Drive thru only from from on unfortunately.
I go to Starbucks every day and I absolutely loathe this location. 1. Every time I go it takes 5 times as long as other locations. 2. The drink often tastes a little off. 3. The people are so rude. They avoid eye contact and any kind of customer service. I am patient. I go to the cielo vista location every day and will avoid this location like the plague. Whoever owns this one needs to fix the employee attitude and why it takes so much longer.
If you walk in and there is a line in the drive theough...expect that they will take care of the drive thru first. I went in for just a bag of coffee and had to wait 15 minutes while I was ignored at the register. This is the 10th time this happens and I have finally had enough. Why is the DT more important than the walk it's. Is it because you are timed on performance? I think the Baristas need to be timed on walk ins as well a d maybe they wouldn't ignore you.
I went on 8/22/24 to get the order that was given to me the day before. I ordered 4 things, I mentioned that I was told by management I’d get my sandwich free, as I pulled up to the window I politely asked the female employee if she was going to take the sandwich off & she immediately snapped at me. I was taken back as 1. I had my child in the vehicle & 2. It came out of nowhere & I was in high spirits. She clearly is not from Boerne & she did this in-front of management who acted as though she didn’t hear her & when I asked to speak with her, she seemed as if I was inconveniencing her. Starbucks must be desperate for employees. It is not as if we are getting stuff for free. Luckily my dashcam recorded & I will stick to ON THE GRIND OR DUNKIN FROM HERE ON OUT. Do better Starbucks.
Don’t bother getting out of your car and going in the store if the line is super long and wrapped around out into the street because they do not have anyone inside working on folks that make the effort to come on inside. There was a huge long line in the drive-through so I parked and got out and went inside and then proceeded to sit there for 10 minutes or more while they filled, all these other orders and mind you the store was basically empty except for one or two other people and myself. When they finally got around to my order they had ran out of the iced coffee that I had ordered and wanted me to sit there and wait until they made some more. No, thank you! Not getting my coffee here again! The manager seriously needs to make some changes and prioritize customers that actually make the effort to come in your store and possibly buy more product which by the way I did, and I never would have if I had just driven through in my car!
I ordered a Matcha frappe through the app, and my husband picked it up for me. When he brought it home, I was rushing to get to an event, so I put it in the freezer for later. When I finally tasted the frappe, it was entirely too sweet. I ordered it with no classic syrup and only one scoop of Matcha powder. However, it seems that those instructions weren’t followed. This isn’t the first time that this Starbucks has gotten my order wrong. Unfortunately, since this is the only Starbucks in town, I keep going back when they have deals. But I’m frustrated by the consistently disappointing experience. From someone whose been a Starbucks member for over a decade and just wants her drinks made properly, please do better.
This is the slowest Starbucks in the world I’m convinced. Always takes at least 15 mins to get through line but have waited as much as 50 minutes before. The location sucks and it’s impossible to park and line wraps the building consistently. They are horribly mismanaged it appears. I also order light ice and they often fill the ice the entire cup.
Worst customer service at any Starbucks I ever went to! The girl Alicia took my order and I ordered 3 drinks and 2 cake pops, she repeated the order back and my friend agreed he heard it correct too. Took 10 mins to get our two drinks and one didn’t have the cold foam I payed for so I asked for them to add some. The guy at the register did it, and I asked how much longer on my last frappe, he said he was getting it. 20mins later and we are really upset wondering where it is and we asked again, they said someone took it so they made it again but it turns out they remade the same drink we already got, and never rung up the 3rd drink we were supposed to get and waited on for 20mins. Thinking he would at least give us the remake of what he made of the drink we already got, he tried to charge me for the 3rd drink we never got after waiting 30mins and when I said nvm bc I was late to a party he said ok have a nice day and threw it in the trash while looking at me with a rude look. $22 for 2 coffees, 2 cake pops, and a wasted 30mins for a drink they never even wrung up and for the rudest customer service!!! Never go here
I have always loved this Starbucks. I’ve always gotten good service. But when I place an order for pickup I expect it to be ready by the time I get there. They even acknowledged me and told me it would be ready soon. I waited 30 minuets for my drink. A pink drink at that. Then I got in the drive through thinking that would be quicker and nope. When I pulled up to the screen no one answered. It took them 45 minutes to make me my pink drink. I don’t know who was at the store today but I am beyond upset. This is unacceptable when running a fast food service store. I always order for pickup so that I can just swing by and grab it on my way. But nope. A whole hour of my day has been lost waiting on a PINK DRINK!
It seems that this place has really gone down hill. Service is extremely slow, always over 20 minutes even with no one in the entire store or drive thru. The employees are rude and unhelpful. Not sure what happened to the old staff that was so kind and wonderful but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it anymore.
I haven’t stepped foot in a Starbucks in years but I was driving through the area and needed to use the bathroom so I decided to buy something. After doing a few U-turns to get into this ridiculously small and crammed parking lot, I finally walked in. I have never seen slower employees in my life, and I worked my bum off at a busier Starbucks in high school and college. I walked in and at least 15 people were waiting for drinks. Employees walking around slower than a sloth. Seeing this I decided on something easy like a cold brew. Nope! I was told it would take 20 min. How do you not have a jug of this premade in a fridge? I asked for hot coffee poured over ice. Nope! They’re not even allowed to do that. It might be unsafe for little Jayden to do that. Starbucks is a joke and most of their drinks are giant adult sippycups of candy that cause diabetes. I bet the dentists in town love this.
Absolutely the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. 30 minutes after placing an order for 2 coffees and counting. Tried it again a year later. Still the same.
Placed a mobile order for 2 drinks and accidentally selected "in store" when I meant to select "drive thru". We had our dog in the truck and so we used the drive thru and let the barista know at the speaker that we accidentally placed a mobile order for "in store". This really upset them because their response was "Did you just now place it? Well we will see if we even have it ready for you at the window." We placed the mobile order 5 minutes before we got to the speaker and didn't understand why it was such an inconvenience for them versus placing our order for the first time at the speaker. We pulled up to the window, and the guy who I assume was the manager (Old, white, bald, short, bad attitude) told us that what we did threw off their "Algorithm". He kept trying to talk over us, but we didn't understand why the sass when it was an HONEST MISTAKE. He made us pull into a parking spot and walk inside to get our drinks since I accidentally placed it as an "in store" pickup. I wasn't even in the store for 30 seconds whenever we shortly received our drinks. It all felt very unnecessary and almost like the guy was trying to pull some power move. We were not there to make things difficult for them, for we worked in the food industry for years and understand how annoying customers can be, but this incident felt so unnecessary.
Very slow drive thru service. Probably the slowest Starbucks I have been to. I have been a loyal customer since 2008 and visited over 500 locations in the US and worldwide
They yelled at us. She yelled at me and said she couldn’t hear the passenger so I spoke louder to say my order and she was mad about that. Then they got another order completely wrong so we asked them to add what they forgot to put in a nice way and they yelled at us. 💩 They treated us like it was our fault and they always make our orders really bad. BUT the Leon Springs location is super nice and they always get our orders right and talk to us nicely so if you want Starbucks go to Leon Springs location not the Boerne location. Someone talk to a manager because what is going on with them.
My husband was frustrated with the Starbucks staff because they ignored him and were unfriendly. They repeatedly responded with just “OK” when he made requests, and their tone felt dismissive. Their behavior came across as rude, leaving him wondering if he was being treated that way because he is deaf, because of his skin color, or both. Frustrated, he decided to cancel the order for his DoorDash clients and left the store.
Went inside and waited 10+ minutes to order because the barista was making small talk, like there wasn’t a line. After I ordered, I had waited 30+ minutes for my drinks. This is ridiculous and not up to Starbucks standards. This is my first and last time in Boerne due to this upsetting experience.
My rating would be higher if we didn't have to deal with the man at the drive through. Jeff was very snappy and cut us off multiple time while ordering. I understand food service is hard. I'm in the industry myself but I also know that's not how you speak to people whether at work or not. He is a manager and should know not to treat people this way, very very sad.. I love Starbucks in Boerne don't get me wrong every employee is always so kind and personable. But that is why this stuck out to me so much. Not only was he speaking to us in that manner but also the people behind us who ordered. Very unfortunate Jeff. Ps drinks were amazing thank you to the kind girl with big glasses. Didn't get her name..
This is my local Starbucks - and I want to love it like I love others, but is it the weekends? They haven’t given my mobile order to me in less than 20 min for the last 4 orders. Maybe they are always short staffed? Maybe I always arrive at the wrong time? We all still patronize the place but jeez you will always wait. And wait. And wait. :(
