Café Pasaje is a hidden gem in Bogotá, located near the city center and the Gold Museum. This traditional café has been serving locals and travelers for decades, maintaining a nostalgic charm that makes it stand out from the trendy, modern coffee spots in the city. Ambiance & History The moment you step inside, you’re transported to another era. The vintage decor, wooden furniture, and the presence of long-time regulars make it feel like a place where time slows down. It has a classic Colombian café atmosphere—simple, warm, and inviting. The walls are filled with history, and you can almost imagine the conversations that have taken place here over the years. Coffee & Food The coffee is strong and well-prepared, staying true to the traditional Colombian style. If you’re a fan of espresso or tinto (Colombian black coffee), this is a great spot to enjoy an authentic cup. They also offer delicious snacks, including fresh pastries and classic Colombian breakfast options like almojábanas and pan de bono. We had the hot chocolate traditional with cheese and bread. Rica!! Service & Pricing The staff is friendly and efficient, though don’t expect ultra-fast service—it’s a place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the moment. Prices are reasonable, making it a great stop for anyone exploring the historic center. Why Visit? If you’re in the area visiting the Gold Museum, Plaza de Bolívar, or La Candelaria, Café Pasaje is a perfect spot for a coffee break. It’s ideal for those who appreciate history, local culture, and a classic Colombian café experience. Location: Just steps from the Gold Museum, making it an easy and convenient stop.
I got tinto coffee and 2 meat empanadas. I paid total 10400 COP. Tinto coffee is similar to filter coffee but it is a bit softer. I enjoyed tinto coffee more than filter coffee. Empanadas were delicious. Prices are good for location. They don’t know English but service is really good.
This traditional place has a unique vibe that there's nowhere else in Bogota. You definitely should give it a try if you are in the Downtown area.
Great place for a cold beer and watching the Colombian futbol games. They have only appetizers and drinks. Great local hangout
great local place to hang out! Full of history aswell!
This place is very beautiful. You can get a delicious cafe santafereño or "Tinto" ñ. Here you can watch football matches on the screen of 50. There are many interesting decorative objects to photograph, here you can have a good music conversation.
Nice place to enjoy your coffee ☕️👍. And the sign of WC 🚻. is creative & really funny 👍😂

Great place to have an authentic Colombian Coffee it the heart of Bogotá.
It's a historical place in Bogota a tradicional coffee shop with a nice view to the square, it's cozy interior is plagued with various knick-knacks about Bogota and sports, the service is fast. I highly recommend this place if you want to have an authentic experience and if you can, watch a soccer match there to feel the energy Colombians have when their team is playing.
Stumbled across this local gem by chance. Great people watching experience. Come for the cold beer - quick service, and a slice of classic Colombia
Equaly great for a coffee and empanada in the morning or a beer at night. Ran across this location and instantly fell in love.
Good place to do meetings
Its old school soccer pub environment makes it really special, I just came across this place but I got surprised the great time I had in it, it's like being somewhere between te 50's and 70's, if you like vintage style cafe, this is the place.

Great service, coffee is good and at a fair price, recommended place to have a break.
Ok
Old caffe shop
Neat local cafe. Decent drinks. Nice view of the square.
Nice cafe. Why are there so many pictures of 9/11 on the wall?
Very well located at Rosario Plaza, it's a bit old-fashioned. Service is good, but there not too much option to eat.
An old cafe overlooking Plazoleta Rosario. Ideal for rest or a short break. There are also different beverage options, but you can try the coffee.

Lively place in the center of town overlooking a bustling square. I'd say it's a convenient stop for anyone looking to get a quick caffeine burst during the day!

This is a must see frankly: the old style coffee with local people: a men bar as we could still find in South Italy…very 1950’s. Our coffee was good as the Cerveza and the service incredible friend…

Very bad experience. We had a coffee and a tea, my boyfriend was sick and I wanted to quickly pay and leave. The old gentleman refused payment by card and when I gave him 50.000 pesos he gave me back the wrong change, taking an extra 15.000 pesos, which I did not immediately check as I was in a hurry. When I realized it I was already in a taxi and too late to be back. Shameful to treat tourists like this.
