We really enjoyed the place. It's definitely worth a visit. The dishes are well prepared and the flavors are exquisite.
Wonderful meal, very delicious and amazing value. Even better was the service. When I needed a taxi, the gentleman doing the seating went out of his way to book us a taxi and walked us up the street to get it and made sure we weren't over charged as well.
One of best restaurants that we ate at in Bogoto. A hidden gem. The atmosphere of the place is like you are eating at home. Their rice is one of the best I tried. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed our first Colombian food here and the flavor is very home like. Authentic and popular option
Fully recommend this place. Not much on the menu but the classic ajiaco is there and it does not disappoint. Well worth the walk uphill from Plaza de Bolivar.
I was in Bogota for a weeklong vacation in January. I had lunch here and loved it so much, I prioritized coming back a second time! Food is great, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is positive.
Incredible food & peculiar but very tasty cocktails
loved it!
The food was great 👍🏼
Food was amazing, service soo good and fast
Amazing Ajacio, the best I had ever had, and the place is super authentic too!
Delicious ajiaco and all the rest. Do try the cocktails, absolutely unique
Excellent local food, great service

Delicious food, great atmosphere, delightful and friendly staff.
If you want to eat the best Ajiaco, this is the best place.
Great restaurant for local cuisine!
Restored my faith in colombian food
Exceptional cocktails!
Nice place, very good food, affordable for foreigners. Come at 12pm, no later it fills very quickly Highly recommend!!!
Very nice place with excellent food. Service was outstanding, and food really good. The fruit juices also worth trying. When we left there was a long queue waiting to enter the restaurant. Lots of locals, too, which is always a good indication of good value for money.
The food was excellent especially the ajiaco., with added salt and pepper as I felt it was missing seasoning. I also recommend their mango juice, ask for no sugar to make it very refreshing. This place gets very crowded and although we had reserved in advance, they’re somewhat disorganized as our reservation was not found and we had to wait 20 minutes for a table.
A must-visit restaurant. Highly recommended. Food was divine mmmmmmm 🤤🤤
We came to this restaurant thanks to a tip from our tour guide! The ajiaco and mote de queso are to die for! Strongly recommend also the coconut lemonade! Service was friendly and fast! Don’t miss this stop in Bogota
Really good and delicious place with traditional and typical food from Colombia . This place include sea food, pork, chicken, beef and vegetarian.
Obsessed with this place. I went during a long weekend and I was lucky it was empty so got seated right away. The ajiaco was to die for and service was quick and efficient. If you’re looking for delicious and authentic Ajiaco or food this is the place to go. I was drooling looking at all of the food they were giving to other tables too. 10/10
Great ajito! Service was very friendly. Lovely atmosphere.
Saw her on Netflix and had to try. Went to Bogotá specifically to try her food and was not disappointed! Excellent food in a beautiful restaurant located in a small village in the mountains above Bogotá. It was like a trip back in time. No cars allowed but a short walk down a cobblestone street to this jewel of Colombia. What a delightful experience! Will definitely return!
We stopped for lunch at this very nice restaurant. We ate excellent ajiaco and acatas. Good service and a warm welcome too.
Absolutely amazing. This place surprised me in every way. I don't know much about Columbian food.... But this was just perfect. When i went there were many choices that were unavailable... But still, all the food was perfect. Definitely recommend
Excellent food with a good portion. The place is small so the wait was about 30-40 minutes but definitely worth it!
Best food we had in Bogotá and the staff was so extremely lovely and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely delicious food and friendly staff. Even though I didn't understand the menu, the servers helped me order.
My new favourite restaurant in Bogotá! Delicious food and good service. Can't wait to be back!
What a great Colombian restaurant in the old center of Bogota, La Candelaria, it was as if you were eating in someone's home, a warm and welcoming service with incredible home made food from the Pacific region of Colombia.
As I was eating the encocado I thought, "I must be in heaven, because this is the food of the gods." Served with rice, salad, and patacón, it was a perfect and perfectly balanced mea. Hint: Mix the rice into the encocado.
Delicious ajiaco, very traditional recipe. Vibes are immaculate and cost, and service very warm and friendly. Highly recommend!
I always take my tourist there. The food is really delicious and service is incomparable.
Incredible place for incredible quality local food and recipes - a cultural experience.
Very nice place at a cute street with lovely staff! Food was great and with great value! We ordered 2 mains for the 3 of us and it was more than enough. Definitely recommend it!
Encountering a long line outside the door, I thought “forget this place, I’m hungry”. The host assured me it would not be a long wait. Indeed the host was correct and within 7 minutes we were comfortably seated. Our order was quickly taken and the Ajiaco arrived shortly afterwards. It was delicious. Drink service was somewhat slower. With all the bustle the restaurant maintained a pleasant atmosphere.

It certainly didn't live up to expectations. Food is good and will impress untrained palates, but definitely doesn't fool local expertise. They claim to have the best ajiaco in Bogotá; it must've been true years ago at the original location (La Perseverancia Market), but it's no longer the case. Other dishes (arroz con camarones, encocado, costillas de cerdo) were lackluster. Still, the place is worth visiting to get a general feel of Colombian cuisine. Servers are kind and warm.

You need to know what a good Ajiaco is before rating this restaurant and I tell you you can get a far better ajiaco in a normal tienda where they do "menu del dia" for a quarter of the price The ajiaco here was so watery and like 3 strip's of chicken - one of the main ingredients. The patacon were good but I came here for soup. Prices and presentation set up to satisfy hungry uninformed tourists. Not a place for a local at all!
Normal food, nothing wow. Portions were small.
Great food, great prices, lovely staff There's no wheat in the dishes. It is the perfect spot for a gluten-free meal My only problem is I paid for the meal and showed them on revolut I had paid.. they wouldn't let me leave and I had to pay twice... same thing happened and they wanted me to pay a third time until I refused no way. Bring cash or if your English speaking they might try the same thing
We went in for lunch, we were sat in a hallway , we sat across from each other to not block the walkway, was awkward arrangement , no windows, just waiters passing by frequently to a back dinning room thru the hallway we were seated in . We ordered two drinks that were very good with passion fruit purée and pineapple , they were good. We ordered the chicharrón with yuca and it arrived quickly but it was cold, not warm, cold. The yuca was ok , no onions like it said on the menu either, disappointed. We ordered the empanadas of carne and they were ok, a little dry but at least they were piping hot and the hot sauce that was served with it was nice, not the usual ají casero that is usually served with empanadas. We ordered a shrimp rice dish also that was served with patacones and a small salad on the plate. The vinaigrette was tasty , a few of the shrimp were not fully cooked , we left most of it. Overall we were very disappointed, restaurant staff were friendly but I had to ask 3 times for a colombiana soda and it finally came with no cup or ice which is not a biggie but having to ask 3 times was annoying . No one ever came to the table to ask how things were or if we would like anything else. Had to ask a random food runner for our check , when our server arrived it was slick that they added service charge without asking , mind you I have never not given servers the service charge, it’s not that big of a deal but it just should be asked for and not assumed or just snuck in. There are lots of great places in the candelaria , this is not one of them for me.

After around 90 minutes of waiting a staff member comes out and says there's no more food. Time was 2:30pm, that was useful an hour ago.
