Opinions de Touliña Boiro
Café Bar Touliña in Boiro is one of those places that never disappoints. Perfect for enjoying a few beers or a good coffee, whether alone or with company. Its friendly atmosphere and beachfront location make it an ideal spot to relax and have a good time. The sandwiches are known for their size and heartiness, perfect for satisfying anyone. Plus, with every drink, they always serve a complimentary tapa, a nice touch that speaks volumes about the establishment's philosophy. The combination plates are delicious and reasonably priced, in line with the average for the area. The service is exemplary: both the regular and temporary staff are known for their friendliness and efficiency, always offering the best service. The place is kept clean and well-maintained, and has ample parking, making it very easy to visit. In short, Touliña is a welcoming, well-located spot with great food, where you'll always want to return. Ideal for enjoying the seaside with good company… or even on your own. Manuel Losada
We relied on the reviews, and everything was perfect. We were served very quickly and very well. The food was delicious and plentiful. A family of six had a wonderful meal. Thank you so much!
This is our second time here, and we're also very pleased. The previous time we were at the RV park right next door, and just as we remembered, we went for lunch. As an appetizer, the restaurant treated us to some delicious empanadas with our wine. Then we ordered Galician-style octopus and fried calamari, both exquisite. All served on their terrace overlooking the beach. It was an extraordinary meal, and they had many more delicious dishes on the menu! Great value for money! Highly recommended restaurant!
We were two people. We originally went for a beer, but decided to stay for lunch. We were on the terrace overlooking the estuary, with spectacular views. The service, despite only seeing one woman waiting tables, was fast, attentive, and friendly. We ate: calamari, octopus a feira, and clams a la marinera. Drinks: beers, and to finish, coffee. We paid €64.60. Everything was delicious. They also have a €15 menu. Part of the terrace is accessible for people with reduced mobility, but access to the interior and the women's restroom is not. There's parking all along the street. In September, which is when we were there, we had no problems finding a place. It's a place I recommend and will return to if the opportunity arises.
Best restaurant in Boiro. Excellent food low prices good service and it's in front of the beach. Will come back
I honestly don't understand the rating of this place. It's a truly prime location, the service and customer care are excellent, the service is fast, the food is very good, the dessert is good, the coffee is good, and the people are fantastic! (It's my hometown!) — I will definitely be back. Keep it up, Pablo! You're amazing! 👏👏👏👏
Nice place beside the motorhome area.
Ok
An excellent beachside grill for lunch, small but well-located. The portions aren't very large, but they're good. The prices are in line with what they offer, both in terms of quality and quantity. This is my second time here. The location and the premises are very nice. The service is good, but they can easily get distracted during rush hour. The only flaw I see is the heat inside. On days when it's already very hot outside, it's unbearable inside. There's no air conditioning, and all you see is a fan pointing at the bar for the waiters. And outside on the terrace, although they have awnings, they're black, and when the sun hits them, it's not comfortable under them either.
Four of us went for lunch. We ordered peppers, scallops, calamari, and Iberian pork. The food was decent and the service was very quick (even though the place was packed), although it was rather bland. I didn't find the place very pleasant; it's too close to the road and quite noisy.
Well, if you're lucky enough to find no parked cars (which we were), it has spectacular views. The quality-quantity-price ratio is good; it wasn't amazing, but it's fine. We saw some incredible giant sandwiches; I'll let you know how they were another time when we're there with the kids. We had tapas for €48 (1 glass of wine, 2 Cokes, scallops, calamari, stuffed mussels, bread, and 2 coffees).
Only stopped for a quick beer. Nice views over Barana beach.
The first time we came, they served us a great tapa of mussels with our drink, and the service was very good. However, the only time we've eaten here in the last few years, the food hasn't been great at all. The secret was that the mussels were overcooked. The place is fine for a coffee or something else and admiring the views of the Boiro estuary. Otherwise, the waiters just do their job. They're overly serious, and sometimes they even get uncomfortable. I'm not saying they treat you badly, but they seem to have trouble even saying good morning.
Terrible, the waitress who served us was a brunette with long hair, very unpleasant, we stopped to eat because we had just arrived, and we sat in the first place we saw free, this girl after a while came to our table and did not even greet us, she seemed angry, very unfriendly. If you work face to face with the public ... you do not treat people like this, a minimum of education and at least say hello. The food was good, but logically we did not go back to eat ... and I will not recommend it because good treatment, I think, is equally important.
Average food and TERIBBLE SERVICE. waited for 40 min just to get someone's attention. Eventually waiter came to take drink orders and gave us the menu (one to share between two of us). From that point it took another 30-40 min to take our food order. We waived few times at other waiters who acknowledged us yet nobody came to take the order. I finally went up to the waiter who gave us the menu and ordered hamburger and calamares. It took over an hour for our food to arrive. The restaurant started to quiet down, waiters setting up tables for the evening and still no sight of our simple order. After an hour and quarter and nudging the waiter our food arrived. Waiter placed it on the table and walked away. No cutlery, no napkins, no question if we would like to drink anything else. All together we spent nearly 3h just to eat a burger and fried squid. And no apology.
This small establishment has a privileged location facing Jardín Beach, and its views are breathtaking. The quality and variety of the food is worthy of praise. But the service is a nightmare: slow, inefficient, and rude, with no regard for comments about serving tables that had arrived later than ours. A disaster, one that we should avoid.
