This is a review for the restaurant. Aside from the very nice ambiance and professional service, even while eating I was impressed by how balanced and tasty - while not greasy or overwhelming at all - the dishes where. Keep in mind that pizzoccheri, sciatts and polenta taragna (I had one full portion of each) are “mountain”, filling, nutritious foods that easily are made on “heavy” side. My overnight digestion was unperturbed, and I did not wake up once to drink water as it happens when the food is hard to digest. Kudos to a very talented staff that has evidently found a way to make these typical dishes in a modern yet authentic way.

We stayed for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The room was very clean, spacious, and with a great view. The included breakfast buffet was great. The staff was friendly and made us feel at home. I forgot my kindle in the room and we received a quick email from the front desk once it was found. Great job to everyone at the Rini!

We stayed for several days at the start of our Honeymoon to visit Bormio and ride the Stelvio Pass via road bike. Having completed our 3 week stay in Italy, Rini is still the BEST place we stayed the entire trip. The room was very nice, but what made the difference was the staff who were so helpful, friendly, and thoughtful. I couldn't recommend this Agriturismo any more highly for folks who want a quiet place to stay in a beautiful setting. The food at the attached restaurant was great (we absolutely loved dinner, and recommend booking with half-board) and though there was a little bit of a walk to town (10min), the unobstructed view of the mountains was worth it. They also have a couple town bikes you can use for free to get around. For cyclists, they have a separate storage room to put your bike, have a washer & dryer you can use for free, and have a few bike tools to get everything set up. Loved this place, and we can't wait to come back for another visit.

It was a great experience. I had eaten well this weekend. Food are extremely delicious and fresh. You can distinguish if its fresh or not or let’s say good quality or not. Meat were very tender. I recommend this restaurant to try their foods. Presentation of the food was good too. Place is good it’s kind of old wooden style but inside was modern. But still you feel that you are in farmhouse.

Interesting dishes with local delicacies at reasonable prices. Missed the outdoors element since the weather was great when we visited Bormio but I guess most people visit in the winter. Service could be a bit better but maybe we were lost in translation. Overall worth trying if in Bormio, make sure you reserve in advance.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Given the price point, we expected a corresponding level of service. Unfortunately, the experience was a complete disappointment. 1. Room allocation and quality The two families in our group were given very different rooms, despite paying the same rate and explicitly expecting rooms next to each other and on the same level. One room was extremely small, with almost no storage space, making it impractical for a multi-night stay. The bathrooms also differed significantly in size and layout. We were placed on different floors, and one room was a connecting room, separated only by a door, resulting in constant noise from the adjacent room. A room change was requested but denied due to “no availability.” 2. Wellness area (extra charge) We were charged extra for the wellness facilities because we did not book directly through the hotel. The wellness area itself was far below standard: • The bathtub had no hot water. • One sauna never reached proper temperature. • The second sauna took 1–2 hours to heat sufficiently. • Staff claimed the issue was fixed, but there was no improvement. • The upper sauna indicated a need for water via the electronic panel, yet no water was available. • Aromatherapy was advertised but never experienced. We are regular sauna users, and this was well below acceptable quality. 3. Food Breakfast was limited but acceptable. Dinner was mediocre; we chose to eat there only once. 4. Staff support The most disappointing aspect was the lack of support and engagement from staff. Issues were acknowledged but not meaningfully resolved. Overall, the hotel does not deliver the service or quality expected at this price level. We were genuinely looking forward to this stay, which makes the experience even more disappointing.

Disappointing experience. We stayed for 5 nights and, considering the price, expected a far higher standard. Rooms mediocre, ‘wellness area’ was a joke which they charged us extra despite not being able to use it properly, food below average. But the worst of all was the staff that speaks so mediocre English to the point I’m wondering how they are allowed to work in such a touristic area. Embarrassing and sad. We visited much nicer hotels during our stay in Bormio.

Where do i begin? This post is only related to the restaurant. The ambiente looks very nice and we have been recommended to eat at the Agriturismo Rini by the connected Agriturismo Hotel La Stalla. So we checked for a reservation in the evening, which was immediately declined by the front waitress at the entrance withouth checking anything. I understand there might be no tables available in the off-season, but the way this request was handled, it is totally unacceptable. The guests next to us, who were paying, has been treated extremely friendly, meanwhile our request was answered in such a arrogant way. To see the same person acting in such different ways with guests, is not professional, so I wanted to share this experience and would recommend places, where (potential) customers are treated the right way.
