Excelent location rigth on the slope, breakfast acceptable, dinner rich, rooms cleaned regularly, superior room with large bathroom, nice staff, recommended
I stayed for a week in this lovely hotel, the staff are absolutely amazing and super friendly and helpful, nothing is to much trouble, the food is great, the room was comfy and cleaned everyday and a special thank you to Mery the receptionist, she was helpful and awesome and a welcoming face when we came into the hotel and throughout our stay, also Martina the bar maid was really friendly and cheerful. The location is amazing as right in the slope within a 1 min walk up the stairs. Would highly recommend and would stay again, Thank you Girasole Team.
I came with a school and the staff were so calm with what we did and the food was really good but the skiing was the best part of the trip by far and the manager was very friendly to all of us

Perfect location for skiing, next to the kit hire shops, restaurants and most importantly the slope. Stunning view from our room and as a whole the rooms were quite nice. The only improvements I would make would be on the bathrooms.

I recently stayed here at the Girasole hotel while spending a week skiing at the Bormio ski resort. The skiing itself was amazing, and the hotel itself was truly "ski in, ski out". The staff were all nice and friendly, the rooms were comfortable but not luxurious and the food was of good quality but often repetitive. Entertainment at the hotel includes a games room and a pub open in the evenings, however the main attraction of this location is of course the skiing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay when skiing in this area.
I stop by during a trip to the mountain and I found a nice atmosphere and tasty traditional foods, try bresaola or pizzocchero... really really good!! also the outside worth the stop!

Rooms are ok obviously you stay for skiing and not just a hotel
I have been using this hotel since 2013 for ski trips. Ideal location, beautiful views and the most amazing staff. Mary is always welcoming and makes you feel at home. The rooms could do with a refurb but all round fantastic place!
The bedrooms are simple just plain beds and bathrooms. Small TV. Duvets are carpets wraped in sheets. Little storage space. Food is Ok besides breakfast is not the best. No WiFi. Dinner and Lunch are good. Really visible that it was built for the world cup.
Great view,great prizes for this kind of accomodation .nice and sweet rooms BUT probably worst salad and spaghetti ive ever tasted at dinner..sallad was extremly bitter and spagetti tasted liked death.on the other hand restaurant and personal was very nice so this was a huge dissapoinment.
Drinks are not free as specified on the website and tablets were found left in the room.
A average cafe with rediculous ordering system. Que at the food counter or bar wait 5 mins while being ignored then get told you must order at the casa. Goto the casa and joint the que normally 10 people long and blocking the main entrance. Mostly convenience food in the fridge ready made and then grilled in the sandwich toaster. good place to feed the kids but thats about it
Absolutely disgusting nothing is clean, cramped rooms and stains in carpet
My bed was broken, the ladder was taken off the bunk bed, the side thing was unstable, cold room, no heating, weird stains on the shower curtains and bad smell in the bathroom. I was itchy the entire night and the cleaners steal. there were holes in the bedding and the food gave me food poisoning. I went here on a school trip and to be fair the only good thing about it was skiing. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want a few pretty pictures.
I visited this hotel on a school trip. first thing we did when we arrived was write down all the things that were wrong with our rooms. Beds were breaking, lights barely worked, shower curtains were dirty, smelled horrible. The food was not that bad but the water smelled awful and was not drinkable.
Absolutely disgusting food. The worst gulash soup I ever had - so bad that it was worth returning and requesting money back. Wurst could have maximum of 5% meat, bleh.
