This place was awesome! Sometimes it's smalll things that matter. Food was also incredible! Warm chips! (Such a simple concept) alot of places don't! Great salsa! Tiny bit spicy;) Cold water in glass bottle left at table for self pour refilling. I had the wet Chile Verde burrito. Best I've had. Some Chileverde ends up on the sweet side. This had a nice little spice! Wife had the enchilada plate and i always try the chile relleno everywhere I go..this one had great taste you could actually taste the pepper. All around great place! Recommended by locals at chamber of commerce as well! Love borrego springs! Thanks pablitos, keep up the good food!

We went with five friends to have dinner and enjoy some cocktails. We all had margaritas and enjoyed every bit of it. We sat outside on the patio and were totally comfortable after it was dark out, but you might want to bring a jacket. We really like Pablito more than any other Mexican restaurant in town. We live in Borrego part time and are very familiar with all the restaurants. I would highly recommend the garlic fish and the flan.

Relaxing, homey and amazing quality food! Highly recommend for anyone near Borrego Springs. Service was top notch. Fabian & Karim waited on our table and were super helpful. The owner Patricia personally checked on our table a couple of times to make sure everything was perfect. We appreciate everything about this place from the water fountain relaxy vibes to the super tasty food.

Karim was just sensational! Young but a consummate professional. This was I and my husband's favorite place to eat when too windy while primitive camping. Hadn't been here since the 2019 Super Bloom. Happy to say the ambiance, food and staff remain delightful. Huge, delicious and affordable portions served here. They treat you like family. It's just all awesome. Don't hesitate. If there is a line - it's worth the wait!

Great food! Highly recommended! Had the steak ranchero and the wife had the real crab enchiladas. Ranchero was wonderful as were the enchiladas. The Crab made them really rich but still super yummy. We eat often in borrego and had overlooked this place due to it's location. They definitely serve some of the best food in borrego at a reasonable price. Drinks were great and poured strong. We had the house margarita. I hear the mango is good too but did not try it. Staff was friendly and attentive. Staff work gloves, masks, and the seating was out doors. Was a cold night and they lit the heaters instantly upon our arrival without us asking. Overall I would reccomend this onto your shortlist of options.

We love pablitos! I’m the kind of person who always orders the same items at a restaurant once I know what I like there, but everything at pablitos is always so good so I’ve tried several things here! Tonight I had the taco salad, and loved it! My daughter always gets the baked smothered California burrito and my husband always gets the steak rancheros. He’s picky about that, and says it’s just about the best! The chips and salsa are always so good, too. And idk what the dressing is on their little garnish salads, but it’s delightful! We love the house margaritas and my little one enjoys the virgin mango margarita and dessert of course. She’s obsessed with the choco taco they make, a warm fried tortilla with cinnamon and sugar on it, filled with ice cream and topped with drizzled chocolate and whipped cream. Pablitos has become our most favorite place to eat a meal in Borrego springs and we highly recommend! Not only is the food so good, it’s always clean and nicely spaced, but the staff is so friendly and wonderful. I can’t say enough about how we love this place!

Woooo, that was a great lunch. I love mexican food and this place will not disappoint. I had the Verde Enchiladas (beef) and they were spicy and delicious. Topped off the lunch with a pitcher of the Skinny Margarita... absolutely lovely. My girl and I sat outside under an umbrella at our table and just enjoyed the food, drinks, shade, and desert breeze. I would HIGHLY recommend stopping here for a bite. Just do it.

As you can see, a lovely open-air setting around a fountain as well as inside seating with really comfy traditional furnishings. The staff is friendly and helpful and efficient. The food is great, we tried the California Burrito and Taquitos with guacamole and crema acida. Both were served hot and were delicious. Lots of room for groups or smaller tables for couples. This ristorante has a liquor licence and does traditional Mexican beverages. It's a family place for folks who like good food served well. There's lots of free parking, and washrooms inside as well as accessible from the parking lot.

I want to say that the food was excellent! I ate there yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. My wife was delighted!

January '26 we popped in for dinner. Had our chips and salsa. The salsa was fresh with a mild spice. Ordered the super burrito with chicken. It was excellent and we split it. Had flan for dessert and definitely recommend it if you're a flan lover.

We did a hike nearby, and it was late we were hungry as were the kids. We stopped at a nearby market since we had promised the kids a small treat after the hike and saw this restaurant on the way out. We decided to stop by, and glad we did. Food was delicious.!!! And our waiter was so professional and attentive. Will definitely stop here on our next camping or hike trip.

Great food. We came for the food, right? Service was bad. Couldn't get napkins, straw and another drink? Forget it! They never asked. Nope!

I am really shocked at some of these reviews and wonder if they've actually had Mexican food before. The food here was bland. I should have realized it was going to be bad when the chips were tasteless. They use hardly any seasoning on the food and the chicken tasted like it came out of a can. Recommend if you want something more palatable to try somewhere else. The food was edible but not enjoyable. The big tell: no one asked if we enjoyed our meal or checked on us while we were eating.
