Amazing, on Sunday we went for a walk, on the way back we were hungry and we stopped in this really nice place, the service was fast and friendly, the dishes simple and well made, we shared an amazing leek pie, a potato and leek soup and some gratin fennel, everything really excellent both in terms of quality and execution of the dishes... I will definitely go back

A hotel reminiscent of the past... a mountain hut, the scent of authentic furniture, excellent food quality, and a taste of the authenticity of the mountains. Triple room with all the comforts (son stayed in his own small room, connected to the double room). Extremely comfortable beds: I particularly appreciate the elasticated fitted sheet. Family-run, friendly and welcoming staff. In a hamlet 5 km from Bosco Chiesanuova (Valdiporro)....far from the hustle and bustle of Bosco town center. Who would have expected this? Rating......5 stars.

What a wonderful experience: you get the personal touch of a family-run business but with consummate professionalism. The location is breath-taking with many places to walk and wander. The food is exquisite, a combination of local traditional fare with thoroughly modern updates. Our group included people with a wide variety of food requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free) and they were not only accommodated but the kitchen used this opportunity to innovate and be truly creative. The results were delicious. Can't recommend highly enough.

I stayed for 5 nights as part of a creative writing retreat/workshop. Albergo Ristorante Leso is the most wonderful place. For a start, it's set in the most beautiful scenery, up in the mountains less than an hour from the lovely city of Verona. It was a superb place for a writing retreat - the light is amazing, the views are inspiring and the hosts couldn't do enough for us - including recommending walks and even driving us to the next town (which is a lovely place to look around). An excellent base for hiking, exploring, relaxing, a couple's holiday, getting away with friends or for solo travellers. Despite the fact that you really feel you're getting away from it all, there's unbelievably cheap public transport between the village and Verona. The hotel itself is lovely - the rooms are bright, clean and have everything you need. Ours even had a balcony with a gorgeous view. The air is fresh and clean. We left the windows open at night and were woken up by the tinkling of cowbells in the morning. And then there's the food! Traditional, local, delicious. We were there for 5 nights and we were treated to a huge variety of fresh produce, fresh pasta, polenta, risotto, etc. All of it accompanied by excellent (and very cheap) local wine. Albergo Ristorante Leso is family run, laid back and friendly. I'd like to say a special thanks to Irene whose warmth made us feel so welcome. She looked after us really well and even gave me her tube of mosquito cream! That's dedication above and beyond! I can't recommend this place highly enough. I came home relaxed, recharged and inspired.

I stayed At Albergo Ristorante Leso for a week long retreat in October 2019. Damien and his girlfriend Irene are the perfect hosts who looked after us so well! The hotel was cozy, quirky and the food exceptional. The surrounding scenery was glorious with hills, valleys, donkey and cows and Damien showed us some interesting walks, one up a nearby mountain. I will definitely be returning with my husband! Verona is only an hour away and Albergo will make a perfect base for sightseeing.

I went to Valdiporro as part of a Writers' Retreat jointly organised by the hotel and by the writer who ran the actual writing part of the retreat. It was a fantastic week, both productive and relaxing. The hotel has nice, neat rooms and provides glorious food in beautiful scenery. The family are extremely welcoming and helpful.

Ci siamo fermati per caso a prendere un caffè più digestivo in quanto avevamo già pranzato altrove non sapendo di poterlo fare anche qui. Il locale, tipico della Lessinia, è confortevole e la locati…

Ristorante fondamentale in cui fermarsi se si visita la nostra bella Lessinia. Cucina tipica di montagna con rivisitazioni anche in chiave moderna. Interessante la proposta del piatto unico, riuscendo ad assaporare le tipicità montane senza esagerare. Ottimi i dolci fatti in casa.

Bella la location, servizio veloce e preciso, si mangia bene, consiglio gli gnocchi di malga e la carne salata. Tra i dolci segnalo la crepes con marmellata ai frutti di bosco e panna montata. Prezzo più che onesto.

Luogo perfetto per le famiglie cibo ottimo e conveniente panorama meraviglioso Siamo stati al ristorante Leso per San Valentino per andare sulla neve e ci siamo passati, era tutto prenotato e siamo quindi abbiamo dovuto andare fuori ma non ce ne siamo pentiti, il panorama era stupendo su tutta la vallata. Abbiamo preso un piatto unico al carnivoro una pasta con il ragù di anatra e una con il cavolo nero, una polenta e delle costine di maiale tutto era buonissima. Molto lunga l'attesa, hanno fatto un po' di casino nelle ordinazioni

Sono stato più volte al ristorante e mi sono sempre trovato bene. Da provare l'aperitivo della casa "Hugo": succo di sambuco, foglie di menta selvatica, prosecco, acqua gassata e scorza di limone, una chicca della casa che ho gradito molto. Ottima la pasta fatta in casa condita in svariati modi. Il top, a mio parere, è quella col cinghiale. Come secondo prendo spesso l'ottimo capriolo con polenta e contorno di verdure varie. I proprietari sono gentili e alla mano, il locale è pulito e ben curato. D'estate la temperatura, rispetto a Verona, è di circa meno 10 gradi. Un vero toccasana per chi vuole stare al fresco. Vengo una/due volte all'anno in questo ristorante ed ogni volta sono rimasto soddisfatto. Cibi genuini, preparati con grande cura, serviti da personale cordiale, preparato e disponibile! Questa volta ho assaggiato dei casarecci al pesto di tarassaco e formaggio monte che erano sublimi. Ristorante Leso, per me una garanzia..... Complimenti 👍

A quick stop with friends during a hike. The menu was simple, but adequate for our needs. Leso 1815 has a quiet atmosphere and friendly staff. Our hiking friends promised to return as soon as possible.

After a long evening stroll, even though no one was around, Franco welcomed us with unwavering hospitality. We ate excellent bean soup and a sublime leso sandwich. The local sausage was truly delicious, and the artisanal mustard was amazing. The real cooked meats were tasty, but too oily. The fig and apple cake was also good. The only drawback was the limited selection, but if you choose a little and make it well, it's a plus. Recommended if you're in the area.

The restaurant is very quiet with a beautiful view, very good and tasty food, and excellent service. The only major flaw is the presence of so many flies and bees that make it difficult to eat in peace without having to constantly wave them away, and there are no tools available to swat them away. We all tried to swat them away, and the staff just stood there watching us do nothing, so we had to eat quickly. A small point: the insects were only at the tables under the trees, while those under the umbrellas were very quiet, so all in all (aside from this complication) it's an excellent restaurant worth trying!

I have nothing against discontinuity; however, they could have at least maintained the warmth, friendliness, and courtesy of the previous service.

We've been going to Leso for 13 years. Friendly, warm, excellent food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We tried the new management: four items on the menu, limited appetizer selection, disorganized and rude staff; it feels more like a club for the owners' friends than a restaurant. A slice of the most reserved Veronese atmosphere, imported uninvited. It's a shame. We'll never return.
