Great food, excellent service. The portions were perfectly sized and were fresh. How quickly each plate came to the table shockingly fast as well. We only found this place by driving by and made an exit to come give it a shot. We were very happy we did so and will be back. It's a great value that I highly recommend. As a last note, they handled my food allergies with ease. Gluten, egg, and dairy are my challenges that were no problem. Update: we have continued to come back and enjoyed every experience.
This place is 5 stars all around. Incredibly friendly servers that explain the process and the quality of food is top tier. They cover all the bases from more American sushi to sashimi to more traditional Japanese dishes. Can’t wait to come back here.
This place was AWESOME!!! We had a party of six and there was a long wait (it was Valentines day and I'd not made reservations ahead of time... silly me). We'd been waiting about 15 minutes, when they called me and said that they had theirJapanese room available, which had typical low japanese style seating. This made it even more fun! The selection was incredible and the food was absolutely fantastic! The waitress is very attentive and the food service was EXTREMELY FAST, like within five minutes, we had our drinks and then, almost immediately after, our first round! We tried so many things! While we have a new favorite sushi restaurant, they have much much more than sushi. We'll certainly be going back soon! Well worth a visit or 10!! If I could give it 10 stars, I would.
Great buffet. Your order and they bring it out in small amounts. This allows you to try a lot of things. My wife doesn't like seafood, but she tried the Vegetable Roll made with soypaper and loved it. I tried several things and liked them all except the Sashimi scallops. But....it's a buffet, so I moved on to the next item. Great experience l. Try it, you'll like it.
I come here often and it is always a great experience. Food is always fresh and yummy. Tons of menu options and I love the ability to try new things and not have to commit to a full 8 piece roll. Staff is always super kind. If you’re looking for good food at a great price come here
The portions here are perfect, you literally can try their whole menu if you wanted to. The atmosphere is great, I love the Japanese style interior. The service was alright, our waitress took forever at times and we waited almost 30 minutes for some ice cream. Nonetheless, great place to dine. The seats can use some cushions though.
Best sushi place out there! Shoutout to our server Alyssa! My uncle, aunt and I went for my birthday and they gave me several awesome birthday surprises, one of which was that their server robot came out playing Happy Birthday with a candle in ice cream, so fun. Everything we tried was delicious, and we were able to try a good deal of it. I especially liked the Rattlesnake rolls. The atmosphere was beautiful and authentically Japanese. And the manager was kind and friendly, good man. Thank you for a wonderful and very special experience! 11/10! A word from my aunt! My nephew & I used to go to Axiom Sushi before,but no more!! THIS IS OUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PLACE!! And Jimmy is an absolutely awesome manager!
Good food and I like the portion sizes they give you for ayce. It’s not too much so you’re stuck with a ten piece roll. It’s maybe five pieces a roll so you can try their other stuff. I like how they had inari too. Dish tasted fresh and the rice for nigiri wasn’t a lot. The food didn’t come out very fast but it was still good and the service was good :) we were able to try a lot of the menu items because the portions were perfect! Would definitely recommend.
Mr. Kim, the chef did absolutely amazing! Mama Kim, our server was one of the first servers when the restaurant opened a year ago. We told her we did not know what to order so please just take care of us. They brought out more sushi than we could eat, and every single bite was buttery and perfect. This is now my favorite sushi restaurant in Central DFW. You can’t go anywhere else and beat the value. It was less than $35 a person. If we would have gone to our normal spot, it would’ve cost us about $250.
First time going to this place. It was amazing! The service was kind, great & constant. Our drinks were being refilled as soon as they were halfway. Ordering food was so much fun. The food was so delicious! My favorite was the rainbow rolls, everything else was flavorful. Everything was fresh & brought out fast. It was a lot of food, thankful my husband could finish it all. The price is definitely worth it, we went for the dinner time on menu it was a Saturday. The robot delivery was really cool.
The food is absolutely incredible and the staff always make me feel welcomed. This time I had Athena as my waitress and she was amazing. Lastly, the manager on shift I think his name was Jimmy came around to our table and also greeted us and welcomed us to the restaurant. The whole experience was fantastic and I can’t wait to return.
A friend told me about Japan House, and after checking a few online reviews and videos, I happened to have business in the area the next day—so I stopped in for lunch. I was not disappointed. My family and I usually go to a regional sushi chain with a conveyor belt system, but after trying Japan House, I may have found our new go-to spot. The set price instead of per-plate costs is a big plus. Everything I tried tasted freshly made, and the quality was very good! I enjoyed every item I had—even the salmon dishes, and I’m not typically a big salmon fan. The lunch menu does have a few items reserved for dinner only, but that just gives me a reason to come back in the evening. The selection available at lunch was still impressive, and I definitely got my money’s worth (and probably overdid it). I also tried the green tea ice cream, which was excellent—smooth, not overpowering, and a perfect way to finish the meal. The servers were top-notch, very helpful in guiding me through the process on my first visit, and the restaurant itself was clean and inviting. I’ll definitely be returning.

The location is easily accessible and right of 820. The parking is good but I wish the city had more lights in that area. Especially considering city hall is right next door. The place looked very nice inside. Clean and well kept. The portion sizes were a bit small than what I’m used to but honestly a plus. It gives you more opportunity to try different items. Everything that doesn’t have a price next to it is included as far as I was told so just keep in mind there are some items that are not included. I stayed for a little over an hour and fully enjoyed myself. Service was decent. There were moments we had to wait but that had to do with a family next to us who complained none stop for the smallest inconsequential things. I got caught up with trying as much as I could and these were my thoughts as followed, Cajun shrimp roll, not too spicy. Came in four. Mega Shrimp- loved this one! So savory! Las Vegas- this one was deep fried and was so good and crunchy! A must try Cowboy Roll- the steak gave it a bit of a chew but combined with the rice it gave it a perfect balance. Dallas roll- soft and melts in your mouth Shades of green- has a small kick to it! Caterpillar- avoid it. Lacks taste and the cucumber gave it a weird crunch while maintaining a bland taste. Not my favorite but definitely someone will enjoy this one if they like no seasoning in their food if you know what I mean. I got strawberry ice cream which was creamy and delicious! Over all I would highly recommend. There is something for everyone and well worth the price.

Since I’ve coming to this restaurant, it has never disappointed! Only disappointment is to myself for not spreading the word sooner 😂. Thank you Japan House, this one is always considered for date night and friend events!

One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. The all you can eat food was made fresh on each order and the flavor for everything was perfect. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. You get 5 food items at a time and the portions are small so you can try everything! I asked about a food waste charge and they confirmed they do charge one for wasted food but we were not charged since we ate everything. 10/10 this is my new favorite restaurant for sure.
I really like this place. It is an all you can eat but they bring what you order to your table. The server was very nice. Made great suggestions and asked questions of interest. Super good. The food was all fresh and delicious. You got to try the mango colada, way good, not too sweet. The background music was the perfect level and was soothing. What a great place to eat. Get some!!!!
First time here. The AYCE sushi for dinner was great! It's definitely worth the amount of sashimi we ate. Oh, and the ice cream was so creamy and delicious.
One of the best all-you-can-eat sushi spots around! I absolutely loved the I20, beef rib, 911 roll, and several others. We’ve already been here 4 times by the time I’m writing this—that says it all. Highly recommended!
My wife and I had lunch here today and it was our first time at a Japanese Restaurant. This place was amazing! I am so glad we finally tried it. We did not have one bad sushi here and the ramen was good too. I highly recommend this place. This will not be our last time here.
This was our third time here, again it didn't disappoint. There are so many different options on the menu, over 150 I think. I tried a few things different this time around, everything was great. The entire menu is made to order so everything is so fresh. The sushi is very good, so tasty. Love the pork buns, so look forward to these each time. I usually do 3-4 rounds but I got full at 2 this time. One of the managers offered to make a drink for my friend, it was complimentary, so sweet of him to do that; my friend loved the drink btw. I'm not a big sushi fan but my wife loves this place, & there are plenty of options if you don't like sushi me. Great food, great service; the food comes out so fast. Pro tip, pull up the online menu, it has pictures of every item.
I tried lots of new things. The cowboy rolls were my favorite, but I tried other things that I've never had before. Keep in mind the buffet is 33 and change, and they charged for 2 drinks for me and my gf, but we got unlimited refills. The total for 2 people and 2 drinks cost us about 81 and change. I would bring 100 for a date night and tip your server well. These folks really put in a good effort. All the plates looked more like fine dining than a buffet. The atmosphere does have the Japanese house look to it. The sushi bar is beautiful. This was our first experience here, and I never leave reviews this good for restaurants.

If I could give them a negative start rate it would be a -100. My family and I have never been treated so rudely is any restaurant in all my years. We were there to celebrate our daughter 34 birthday. After placing our orders for everyone, one item came out. The server tossed it on the table and muttered what we could only assume was the name of the dish. Not even attempting to give it to the person who ordered it. As it looked nothing like anything we order we were trying to figure out what it was and who’s it might have been another server came with two more dishes and did the same thing just tossing the food on the end of the table and walked away. A few min later a third server attempted to do the same thing and when my daughter ask a question about one of the dishes as it was not prepared like we have seen at other place before, the server said” I am not the cook” extremely rudely. At that point we ask to speak to a manager. Another server walked up and started in on my daughter stating that they were not the cooks. At that point I as ask them both to get a manager. They continued with the smart remarks, I then went and found a manager myself. After trying to explain to the person what was going on their response was “What do you want me to do about it”. At that point I told him we were leaving, and I went got our table and we left. DO NOT WAST YOUR TIME HERE!!!!!!
Started off fine, after eating Katsu Chicken I noticed I swallowed raw chicken. Management refunded me and not my girlfriend. We immediately left and will never come back again. Waste of money.
