Came here while travelling from Seregno to Bellagio. I didn't make a reservation but they gave us a table outside. The restaurant manager, I assume, called a waitress who could speak English to serve us. She was very friendly and recommended to us the popular dishes. Another waiter also assisted us and taught us how to enjoy the meals correctly. The food was very authentic and tasted home made. The steak was tasty and cooked to perfection. I would absolutely recommend to any passer-by.

Dopo esserci stato almeno tre volte, tra parenti e amici, è arrivato il momento di lasciare la mia recensione. Locale molto casereccio, con un’atmosfera che ricorda la Valtellina. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto di salumi e formaggi, tutto molto buono e fresco. A seguire la cassœula e il morbido di faraona; come contorno una polenta con gorgonzola davvero ottima. Per concludere, una crema di mascarpone con scaglie e frutti di bosco, veramente molto buona. Consiglio assolutamente questo ristorante sia per la qualità della cucina, sia per la cortesia dei camerieri, tutti molto gentili (e aggiungerei anche molto giovani). Alla prossima!

Highly recommended! This place is worth visiting, even several times a year, I'd say, and if possible, for different occasions. The only flaws might be the parking and perhaps the safety of the roadside, right next to the veranda, but these are probably issues that would probably involve the municipality. Aside from the exterior, the veranda of this inn-refuge is incredibly welcoming, well-maintained and super heated 🔝 (visiting in winter ❄️🪾✨) The quality of the delicacies served is beyond question, and there aren't even words to describe how satisfied you are with what you taste inside!!! Everything is delicious and authentic 🤤😋 🍽️ succulent dishes, cooked by people who know their job. A wonderful discovery. Try it and believe it. Congratulations and 🙏 thanks to "Il Barzaghin" 💪✨😌🥳

Small but welcoming and well-kept. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had a variety of experiences with the food, both at lunch and dinner. Some dishes were very good, while others needed a little tweaking. Overall, however, it was pleasant. The only downside is getting to the bathroom (with the cold these days, having to go out and cross the courtyard—if you're on the veranda—to get there becomes quite difficult). Prices, however, are average.

A very casual place with some updating to do, the food is good and plentiful. Tables are a bit close together, but that's part of the family atmosphere. Definitely worth trying outside of holidays for a more relaxed meal. The staff is knowledgeable, quick, and always smiling. The price is fair for the quality.

After having been there several times, for dinner and snacks, I have to give it a decidedly positive review. The food is delicious, featuring typical Lombard dishes including sciatt, polenta, and tzigoiner. Their desserts and cookies are also truly delicious. The only drawbacks are the bathroom being outside and the slightly higher-than-average price of the desserts. Highly recommended.

We went out for dinner for a friend's birthday (a recommended restaurant, but I've never tried it myself). The restaurant is quite spacious, with outdoor seating even in winter. For dishes, we ordered: • a selection of local cured meats • Sciàtt • cassola • wild boar stew • ossobuco Milanese style with polenta • pizzoccheri Truly delicious dishes and generous portions, the price is worth the whole meal. If you want to try traditional dishes, this is the place to go.

Il Barzaghin propone cucina tipica brianzola in un ambiente molto informale (una sorta di tenda con pareti trasparenti) dove spesso regna la confusione e bambini che corrono ovunque come trottole impazzite. Prendere o lasciare, se si vuole un ristorante "pettinato" bisogna cercare altrove. Qui vengono famiglie numerose, comitive, compagnie... la cenetta romantica al lume di candela va fatta altrove. A me per esempio piace sedermi su delle sedie ma una sera mi è capitata una "panca"; mi piace mangiare in una stanza poco rumorosa ma una sera c'era una festa di compleanno con ripetuti cori avvinazzati; non mi piace mangiare al caldo ma se il tuo posto a sedere è nei pressi del fungo che riscalda l'ambiente finisci col "rosolare" a puntino. Tenta la fortuna e vediamo quale serata ti capita! :-) E il cibo? In media buono, con alcuni piatti migliori di altri. Un po' intricato il MENU: ci sono spesso dei piatti speciali non in elenco. E a volte non è facile capire se il dolce che viene offerto ad alcuni a fine pasto è gratis per tutti i tavoli o meno (le volte che sono andato io una volta è stato gratis, l'altra no). Rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo così così: diciamo che la quantità e il prezzo non sono proprio da "antica trattoria", ma il tutto si mantiene entro limiti accettabili. Ho trovato la polenta uncia buona ma un po' troppo secca, il tiramisù ottimo.

Noi eravamo in 3 ed avevamo prenotato Abbiamo ordinato 3 antipasti da dividere e 3 primi piatti Gli antipasti sono arrivati quasi subito mentre tra gli antipasti ed il primo é passata più di un ora. Decisamente troppo. Il personale comunque disponibile e cortese ed i piatti non sono male. Il conto leggermente alto per il locale che è. Consiglio di isolare meglio la sala in quanto ci sono molti spifferi di aria gelida che entra dall’esterno

A lovely, traditional Valtellina restaurant in the Como area. Very good pizzoccheri and friendly staff. I wasn't sold on the sciat, which was too hard, and the polenta with sausage and mushrooms served on a wooden plate, which slightly altered the flavor. Overall, a decent experience, with a few things to improve.

We went on a Friday evening. The outdoor restaurant has plenty of seating, and you're fairly close to each other. We had a few issues with the service, probably due to the restaurant being busy, but nothing serious. The restaurant is well-kept and the staff is helpful. The price for wine, appetizers, main course, dessert, coffee, and optional liqueurs is around €40. Overall, the food is average, and the price is average.

Dopo aver letto le recensioni positive ho deciso di fermarmi a pranzo. A pranzo è disponibile un menù a prezzo fisso in linea con quelli della zona anche se i piatti sono proprio basici, pasta al sugo o al ragù, petto di pollo, ecc. I prezzi dei piatti nel menù extra, li ho trovati un po' eccessivi per il luogo, un brasato con polenta 27,00 euro!!! L' ambiente è pulito ma molto spartano, una struttura di legno chiusa da tende di plastica trasparente e impermeabili. Ho mangiato la trippa che costava solo 7,50 Euro ma la qualità era bassa. Sul servizio niente da recriminare, personale molto gentile e disponibile
