Opinions de Dino's Pizza & Pasta Broadway
This place will always have a special place in my heart. My parents were never great cooks, so we ate out a lot. Pizza was frequent. This place shaped my love of pizza and nothing else really compares for me. I love pizzas that are think with cheese, not over-sauced, and a nice thick crust. Their pizzas have all of that and more. Also the calzones are the size of an actual football. The only thing that I could say that even comes close to negative is that the pizza doesn't reheat super well after day 2 or 3, but that's because their stuff is real. Also it's the left overs last that long you're not really enjoying it. These guys make good stuff.
I bowl at the lanes next door. I have seen Dinos for years. I finally decided to try it. These guys are so nice, and professional. Their meat lovers pizza cannot be beat. My wife swears by their BBQ chicken pizza. We always get half and half. I tried the BBQ chicken, and I have to say she is right! We live on the other side of town. Dinos delivers all the way to our house. This is unheard of at the chain places who have a mileage limit. Dinos has my business forever! Awesome food, and great no hassle delivery...what more can you ask for. Thanks guys!
Dino's is always great! Hub and I used to come for the all you can eat lunch buffet. Dear Dino's, please make it cafeteria style! We miss it so! But on this night, I bought pizza, lasagna and an antipasto salad. It was all perfect and yummy. Salad was so huge we had 4 servings! Pizza is always so fresh and it did not disappoint. The lasagna is the best in the area IMHO. Buca has a huge lasagna serving, but it's nowhere near the quality of Dino's. Please never leave us, Dino's!
I will say I have ordered before about 5 years ago, it was ok but not something I would go out of my way for. Recently went back and ordered a pepperoni pizza, everything was amazing, dough was fresh and spongy, cheese and toppings perfect. Came back a few days later for their lasagna, omg ricotta cheese? What? Real Italian recipe. Treat yourself, they have outside dining to accommodate 4 families and it just feels good eating delicious food outside in the California summer.
We picked up a pizza on a whim, we’re staying at a motel nearby. Sooooo good! We got half pepperoni and sausage and half tomatoes and garlic. I’ve been to the east coast and Chicago. And this is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! Will definitely go back!
I Love this place!!!!! Been going here to eat since I was a kid with Family as well as ordering for delivery. Now me and my little Family enjoy it together:) Pizza is always delicious and a cold roast beef sandwich w/no onion.
This place has some good tasting food for a great price. Very friendly and quick. Got spaghetti meatballs. Meat balls are huge. Reminded me of the movie the wedding singer. Pizza was delicious. Im an out of towner and would definitely go back to try dine in.
$9.25 for all you can eat buffet. Sports on big screen TVs. Great place to take the team after playing a few blocks away at Westminster High School. Always plenty of seating and super casual. Great red sauce. Best eggplant parmesan sandwich in town!
We love Dino's! They have great specials and their pizza is SO GOOD! There hasn't been anything there that we don't like. Delivery drivers are always polite and friendly too.
I've been ordering food from Dinos in Westminster for well over 20 years. If the quality of their served food, and the friendly service I always experience continues to be maintained; I'll continue to order food they offer! Check them out!
This was my first time here. We ordered a pizza to go since it's closed for dinning in. The food was great, just how I wanted it with the homemade fresh taste! When things get back to normal and they reopen for dinning in, I will for sure go back!
The pizza was incredible, the vibes were great, there are a few arcade cabinets, and our server Chia (I hope I spelled it right) was fantastic! I applied for a job
I have been coming here for over 20 years. The food is great. The quality of the food is great for a brief period of time. I was concerned about the pizza dough. I brought it to the owners attention. He was very attentive and wanted to make it right. I was about to stop going there because of it but I decided to give him another chance they got a five star from me, I love the pizza and the staff
I have been coming to Dino’s for almost 20 years! I love the pizza and wings as much as the staff. Many have been working at the location for years. They’re always friendly. I have moved out to Riverside and always made time to come get some dinner here. I have enjoyed many Family celebrations here as well!
Oh my gosh! Found this place on a whim. Enjoyed every bite of food. The pizza, the chicken wings and the cheesy garlic bread, all delicious! Owner and staff very friendly. Chicken wings were crispy. Pizza dough fluffy on the inside and crusty on the outside. Oh, and had to finish it off with cannoli, wonderful!! The creme in the cannoli is the best i've tasted. Will definitely be back!!
The food was outstanding and I’m glad I tried it. Going in, the atmosphere was quiet no one else was really in there but I’m guessing they had just open. We had Alfredo Pizza and wings and I was surprised to see both items were cooked very well and the taste was out of this world! Please try this place if you’re looking for good food. The service was nice and attentive.
DINOS is the spot to go to!!!! Since I was 7 years old we've been coming here. Best pizza in California!! Customer service is always top notch. Very friendly. Delicious foods, you cannot choose a bad option from their menu. Their wings are so tasty, and so are the calzones! YUM YUM 😋
🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 Pizza was Delicious we ordered Alfredo pizza it had chicken, mushroom, spinach, and the cheese was real. so good! We also ordered the wing (buffalo) 😋. We ate garlic cheese bread 🥖 w/ marinera sauce. Small salad 🥗 2 cannolis good 👍🏽 2 budweiser 86$$$ that was a great price for a Fam. Of 4 Sorry we were hungry didn’t have a chance to take picture's. 🙁 There’s plenty of booths to sit. T.Vs to watch the game. Lots of parking 🅿️
It's been almost 14 years since my last visit to Dino's pizzeria, I don't know if they are still in business. We live in the Midwest now, boy do we sure miss it. All of you Californians that live in Orange county and HB, you sure are lucky!
been a while since i ordered from here got the spaghetti one night and then tried a pizza a different day so i decided to get the ravioli with salad and garlic bread this time omg DELICIOUS!! extra large size ravioli with some of the best marinara sauce! garlic bread was perfectly toasted highly recommend any of the above items!
Not the fanciest, so I was right at home! Good food, fun atmosphere, games for the kids and adults 😂 Fantastic Service 🤘🤘
Large pepperoni pizza with onions. Served hot and fresh pepperoni cupped and singed perfectly. Balanced amount of cheese and dough. Outstanding value for a half caraf of chardonnay wine. Will definitely return to Dinos again.
We came here after looking up reviews while on vacation to Disney with our family from Vancouver. Our VERY difficult to please 14 year old declared instantly “this is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my whole life…I’m dead serious! It’s delectable!!” The rest of the the group agreed!!! We now will have a new place to add to our “must have” list for future vacations.
Awesome food, real authentic Sicilian. Very generous portions at reasonable prices. I just visited after being gone for 18 years. Its exactly the same excellent food and service. While many business's failed during the Great Recession; this one didn't. I'm very greatful that it is still in operation.
Started going to Dino's after my grandparents moved into the Seal Beach area. Loved it ever since. The food is delicious, and the pizza is the best I've ever had. Managed to go to one of their lunch buffet's, barely managed one plate. The meatballs and pizza toppings are huge and put everywhere else to shame. Very nice, out of the way diner. Might look a bit run down but I love it for the food and the prices.
Thick, fluffy but crunchy crust! Can be a bit greasy but nothing that blotting with a paper towel or napkin can't fix. Mozzarella sticks are perfectly seasoned, buffalo wings also delicious. Not a cheap pizza, but definitely get more than what you pay for, so it's a great bargain!
5 stars for delicious food but more than that an honest staff! I left my credit card on the table and they had it safely waiting for my return (saved me the huge hassle of getting a new one and canceling everything)! They said a guy left his wallet full of cash and that was returned too!
Where do I even start. Besides the food being absolutely delicious, they serve you in an appropriately time fashion that gives you time to take in the authenticity of their restaurant. Servers are always checking to see if you are comfortable and work very hard to provide excellent service. They also have arcade games there if you decide to bring the family, which allows you to show your kids the type of "video games" you played at their age. My favorite thing to get is a medium sausage and pepperoni pizza with a side of their delicious wings!
This place screams Italian restaurant! Foods great, seems authentic (I’m not Italian but the place sure seems like it). Service is great, good selection of food. Great for families, they have arcade games for the kids. Check it out, great vibes, you won’t be disappointed. 5/5 stars!
One of my favorite Italian Restaurants of all time. The meat sauce is to die for. Excellent pizza. Scrumptious pasta dishes with meaty meatballs and sausage. The salad is even good. As long as I live in So Cal I will never stop eating Dino’s. Other positives? Affordable, great staff and they deliver! If you are looking for your neighborhood Italian restaurant, you just found it.
Would probably give 4.5 stars if possible, but because of minor details; for instance, server didn't know what buffalo sauce is when it was requested. Great little hole in the wall type of place with decent pizza and really reasonable prices. Check out the family meal for ynder $50- fed our group of 8 easily, with leftovers to spare.
Gino's Pizza was pretty good especially for the price. I got a whole pie and the crust was pretty thick plenty of pepperoni lots of sausage and the cheese was nice. The order of lasagna was very flavorful delicious and there was more than enough for two people in the dinner order it came with a salad and garlic bread. They have a all you can eat buffet that ended at 2 p.m. for less than $10 and I would like to go back and try that sometime. They do have several options of beer on tap
I love dinos. It is SUCH an og italian and all around great restaurant. The staff is always sooooooo friendly and the food portions are huge. They are famous for their Italian Sub which is ABSOLUTELY amazing tasting and also VERY huge... Please, give dino’s a try!!! They have a buffet from 11-2 that is very big and has a wide variety of food and drinks. If you want to get a taste of the amazing Dinos; go to the buffet between 11-2 and see for yourself!
I love this place. I have been going here since the 90s. It's homey, delicious, they are friendly, they have specials, and most importantly - its Italian! Like, real mom/pop Italian.
My favorite childhood pizza place is still my favorite pizza ever. It's just good Everytime. The salads are always fresh and ranch dressing is superb! My daughter's first trip to Dino's we had to go with the good ol pepperoni pizza extra ranch! They've really touched it up inside, another plus
It may look like your average restaurant , but this place is anything but! I wandered in with friends, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma. We sat down and ordered our food and the expectations continued to be exceeded. The flavors in the food had great consistency. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit. This place is perfect for groups or a casual date night. Hey why can I say my grandma likes it
Place is nice the ladies ho work there are very nice, food came out fast love there pizza .
We stopped here after shopping at the Block. We live in San Gabriel, but my husband used to eat here as a kid since it's in his hometown. He was right. Food and service were great. We ordered salad, wings, pizza, and a meatball sandwich. Pizza was perfect. We actually ordered an additional pizza to go. Will be back for sure.
I loved the food, and it felt like I was back as a kid with a few video games, TV and they have beer. Perfect atmosphere. Love it. Generous portions. I loved the Alfredo so much I had to order extra. I'm a saucey person. We ordered the garlic cheese bread, raviolis with Alfredo sauce, and a turkey sandwich. Definitely a new favorite for me. Really loved how big the seats were, big cushioned seats, and all around comfort while eating. Excellent service.
Been eating here for years, but rarely dine in. Came in with my wife and in-laws last Saturday evening. We decided on one of the family specials, and all the food was great! Four adults and we still had plenty of food left over. As for the service: we were attended to by Chia & Maria both were very nice and personable. Chia's energy was off the charts! She doesn't know but we friends now 🤣 Love this place!
Not super fancy but wonderful pizza! We got it to go one night and dined in another, in our one week vacation in Westminster.
Old style pizza and light classic Italian dishes. They have a lunchtime, dinner time and an Al cart cart menu for most items. The gravy is amazing and out of this world! This restaurant has a steady stream of Eat in and carry out people from what I’ve seen. They also offer in-house delivery, which is always a bonus.
Are u kidding me?! There's still good food on this street!!!!!!!? With it's amazing service and perfect pizza almost every time as well as The most amazing menu and dining experience you could have. I appreciate it being able to still enjoy a restaurant after 20 years of consistent amazing food. Thanks, loves! Don't ever leave us!
Love this place and the old school vibe. Staff were extremely friendly and the food was tasty. I ordered the baked lasagna and my husband, the roast beef sub. It came with garlic bread and since it was lunch time, a side salad. We will definitely be back!
Visiting from Canada, decided to try this place and was not disappointed. I ordered the lasagna and it was great. Big portion
Gus, at Dino’s restaurant, served us our first meal as a married couple 46 yrs ago and we thought it was only appropriate to have their food on our anniversary this year. Although different owners now, than then, the food is delicious! Still tastes fresh, cooked with integrity, seasoned well, the staff is wonderful, and the recipes are health conscious. Good job Dino’s keep up the good work!
Love this place. Not everyone will agree, and I have a few nitpicks, but the pizzas I typically order (and sides and sandwiches) are delicious. Place is always clean and the staff friendly. Been eating here since 2013 and if I move out of state I will stop here anytime I'm back in SoCal. Highly recommended.
Oh my goodness, this place was so good. Had the calzone with pepperoni and meatballs -- amazing. The crust was crisp and soft at the same time, the tomato sauce on the side was absolutely delicious. My son had the lasagne and absolutely loved it. Killer with the garlic bread too. Staff was friendly and attentive. Can't wait to come back.
What can I say about Dino's..... only that I've been coming to this pie joint since Gus owned the establishment & my brother's Frank (RIP 🕊️) Phil & my uncle Henry worked in that kitchen!!!! Always great tasting munchies, when Phil & I lived in Anaheim, we'd still go back as a treat. Now that we're back in Westminster, we make it a goal to order once every two months ❣️❣️ David, whom still is working the kitchen, always cooks the greatest chxn wings 🐣 Again, always choice 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽 Walked in and woah, they were hustling it! David always has the tasty vittles in check. Two thumbs up 👍🏽😎👍🏽
We went during the afternoon and they had a cheese pizza special. We added a salad and cheese garlic bread. It was all good, the service was excellent and the kids enjoyed the food as well.
Excellent Italian food at a reasonable price. Comparable in cost to Olive Garden but better in every possible way. I had Spaghetti and meatballs and the noodles, sauce and meatballs were fantastic. And the garlic bread is next-level, with the perfect amount of crunch to be satisfying without being too hard and tearing up your mouth. 10/10
They make sure to make you feel welcome and the food is great. The meals are decent size. My wife and I will share spaghetti and it fills us up. No complaints here. Just wish they had a deep dish pizza with the works
I’ve been coming here since 2014! Pizza is still delicious as always! My family comes here and I bring my own family here! That’s just how good it is! This is my top #1 place for pizza and will always be! Thank you and your staff for the food making and attending! You never even wait, they come right away!
This was our first time here. Love the old school-family run resturant feel. It was empty when we came in with a family of 8, but by the time we left, the place was packing. Food was generous. We got the family combo pack and it was well worth it. My husband ordered additional to get a taste of most of the things on the menu. (small sub, mozzarella sticks, meat balls and chicken alfredo). This was way too much for us to eat in one sitting. Bright side, now we have food for the next meal. The service could have been better, but it seems they weren't expecting such a flood of customers in such a short time. Overall, my family and I would love to eat here for itialian food if we are in the area again.
This place is delicious with an old school 90s taste which for me is the original great pizza , pasta , and wings old time favorite taste! My very picky wife sent me to go get 2 orders of wings and a Calzones with extra pepperoni this past weekend and we loved the taste! This is now our new go to place for pizza, wings and all Italian food ! Great price and great tasting food. This place is tasty and delicious 5 stars or 10/10 in my book! Loved the wing, the meat sauce and the extra cheese on the Calzone, and the pepperoni tastes delicious at this place!
Thee best pizza place in the area!!! If you like kind of thick crust and that super soft inside for the crust then you’ll love here. So much flavor and we usually get extra cheese but we tried one without extra cheese and it was perfect. Yes there’s grease on top, that flavor!!! Just take a napkin and take it off. We tried a deluxe without anchovies and it was so good. Can’t wait to try their wings and other stuff.
One of my all-time favorite things to order is their antipasto salad. It’s always fresh and generously loaded with deli meats—definitely not your average salad. And do not miss their lasagna. It’s hearty, cheesy, and just the kind of home-cooked meal you’d expect from a true family-run kitchen. My go-to order is their Family Special, which bundles the pizza, salad, and lasagna all in one. It’s a great deal for the amount and quality of food you get. You’re not just paying for a meal—you’re supporting a local business that puts pride and care into everything they serve. If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by.
Grabbed a family meal for my coworkers and I. Parking: Free parking lot. Ambiance/Environment: They have a large space with plenty of seating. Perfect for large groups. There’s claw machines right when you enter. The register is in the center to the left when you walk in. The interior design can use an update since it is outdated. I visited during early dinner at 16:00 and it wasn’t as busy, but I was told they do get a rush in the evening. Service: Too many names to list, but everyone was courteous, quick, & efficient. Since I did have a large order, throughput took about 45 min. It was worth the wait though. Foods: I got the Family Meal option #1 which came with a large pizza, garlic bread, antipasto salad, and lasagna. I ordered the chicken Alfredo pizza. This was absolutely delicious! The pizza was huge, and the crust was thick! The sauce tasted exactly like Alfredo, and there was a generous amount of cheese. The salad tasted as expected, and it had lots of toppings. It came with ranch and thousand island dressing. If the pizza wasn’t fulfilling enough, the lasagna will definitely do the trick. There were layers of pasta, meat, red sauce, cheese, and more cheese! This was so mouthwatering! The garlic bread was cheesy and garlicky. The buffalo wings, celery, carrot, & chicken strips tasted as expected. Pricing: The Family Meal is $45.99. Definitely worth it! We enjoyed everything and left overly-fulfilled!
We just stopped by on our way to the beach and honestly it’s the best pizza I’ve had! Lol we got the BBQ Chicken pizza, salad with Italian dressing also pretty refreshing and the mild BBQ wings, although they had a lot of sauce they were pretty flavorful, next time I’ll just say easy sauce, Definitely coming back! Our server was also nice and helped us decide on the wing flavor! Overall excellent place to come have pizza and watch the Dodger game 🍕💙🫶🏼✨
This place looks like a local's favorite. I saw a few tables coming here and chill out. The food was very nice, especially the Hawaiian pizza. The crust was soft. It's full of toppings and cheese pull. The small bites are very nice too. Fried zucchini and mozerella sticks are very good. Hidden gem!
IG/ TT @eatwkris Dinos Italian in garden grove has been around since 1990 and they’ve got classic Italian diner vibes and a huge family dinner for $65.99. You get so much food including garlic bread, salad, fried zucchini, saucy wings, a large pizza and 2 red sauce pastas (spaghetti and lasagna). I loved the fried zucchini and cheesy lasagna and It’s honestly a feast for today and tomorrow. My favorite pizza toppings are always pineapple, mushroom, and sausage. Sometimes like to add jalapeño for some heat.
Awesome little pizza place! This is my dad's favorite spot, so when I asked for pizza he knew where to go. We got a pizza with tons of meat and veggies, one Italian sub, basket of Garlic bread, one chocolate cake and one spumoni ice cream. Holy heck. Everything was so good! And the prices are not too bad either. I didn't get a chance to look at the full menu since when I arrived the food just got to the table. But there wasn't a single bad item. I believe they have other Italian dishes and they serve beer and wine. The restaurant itself is pretty clean. There's bathrooms for customers. Some mini game machines for kids. Service was very quick and the staff was very friendly. Would highly suggest trying it for a family dinner out.
We found this wonderful restaurant while passing through Westminster last week. The place had a cool old school vibe and I was immediately feeling comfortable. My partner ordered a pizza and I had a calzone. Both were larger than expected and very filling. The ingredients were of good quality and very tasty. We ended up taking a large amount of food back to the hotel with us and had that for dinner the next night. The staff was pleasant and the conditions were clean. Highly recommended!
Super good Pizza! Fresh, Cheesy,Thick & soft! 😍😍😍🍕🍕🍕 Not fake ingredients! The Meatballs we're Super good! They were really big and had alot of sauce! The sauce was super good too! Had flavor to it 😋 wasn't bland like others, makes me wish I actually got spaghetti 🍝 with it! We did a medium pizza half pepperoni and half chicken with mushroom, pineapple, spinach, and cilantro. It was really good! Ordered another to take home! Price wasn't bad in total around $60 not including the tip I left! 🤭 They have a little arcade sorta thing in the entrance, basic games but cute and they had a beautiful Christmas tree as well I forget to take a picture of it but it was adorable! 🎄
It's been years since we've eaten here. They've done some remodeling since. Customer service is great and the food was tasty. They have specials everyday except Fridays and Saturdays. We tried their lasagna and their spaghetti with meatballs. They were large portions to where 2 people could share a dish-- unless you're super hungry. I don't recall seeing any dessert on their menu. They have tv screens where they were watching sport channels. We'll definitely be back.
Newly refurbished. This is a family-friendly family-owned and operated restaurant that has been in Westminster for over 25 years. It is Italian food done in the American style. Don't go here if you want to eat the food you had in Italy. BUT, DO go here if you want plenty of tasty sauces and cheese.
I'm Italian raised on Italian food so I'm very particular and very difficult to please but, the sauce was good and the meatballs were decent. The pizza however was delicious!! The owner and employees were very nice 😊 I will definitely be going back again for pizza and perhaps the eggplant Parmigian! 🍕
It's a family business that puts out delicious Italian food! Their lasagna is one of my favorites, next to homemade! They have decent family meal packages with a couple different choices... you can't go wrong.
I've eaten here half a dozen times or so. Lasagna is very good, as is the Linguine and baby clams/garlic bread. The meatball sandwich and antipasto not as good. The service is beautiful!
I ordered the weekday lunch buffet for $9.99. Great deal. Food was yummy and fresh, salad was crispy and great for salad bar. Customer service was good, I have been coming here for over 25 usually pizza delivery but now I live to far so we dined in. Marked off 1 star because the pasta was too wet so my plate/pizza got soggy.
Very much enjoybthe food and staff. Eye level and down very clean. As constuctive criticism, some more detailed cleaning above eye level and some tcl to detailsabove eye level. Noten this is me being very picky. Vast majority of visitors would not notice. I always stop when in the area. Personal fan of the meatballs.
The meal was great but we went in at 8:30 and the internet and the door says it closes at 9:30. They said if we order it has to be to go. I said we could be done pretty quick and they refused, I still ordered because we drove far just to try the food. So the food was actually very good, just a suggestion they should chamge the public posted closing time so there no confusion for customers.
Finally, we came to find out this dinner was all about. I ordered a buffet and my wife had some mozzarella fried for lunch. This place looked like other pizza places around town nothing special. It really needs a new look and more welcoming. Ok, now come to the foods. Maybe I came in a little late for lunch or the buffet section refill needed, from the main course to the salads, it really needed attention. I felt like I was eating the leftover. I must be admitted, I loved pizza and the only pizza they served was pepperoni . They should have more variety to court the customers. Lasagna was ok, spaghetti sauce was not thick enough, oh based on the menu there supposed to have meatball and sausage . Sadly I found none in there. Hopefully, this restaurant needed a make over in order to compete. Hopefully, next visit I find the improvements. good luck. Btw services were friendly and helpful.
The food was decent and the staff were friendly. The thing was, that we came in for dinner and got seated. We sat down and waited for about 20 minutes before our waiter came to order our drinks. We ordered and they came 10 minutes later. We were going to order our food but our waiter just left to the kitchen. He came back almost half an hour later to take our order. We waited for about another 30-40 minutes before our food came. We finished eating and payed and left. The service was terribly because we were almost there for 3 hours. I am very dissapointed. You can do better!
Too much crust and not enough sauce on the pizza. Salad was iceberg lettuce with a wedge of tomato and a pepperoncini pretty underwhelming. Was not impressed at all. Quality and flavor was disappointing for an independent Italian restaurant. First visit and most likely the last.
In our party we tried the Italian sausage and the eggplant Parmigiana. The sausage almost didn’t taste like meat, it was more like a paste. And in the eggplant Parmigiana you could barely taste the eggplant. The place was all right in general, but the food was below average.
What can I say? The sauce is accurate & borders on excellent, okay? (yawn) The rest, however...is a mystery. This is school spaghetti at best; the menu contradicts the owner's own posts here regarding having Angel Hair pasta available - they do not - and the prices have not been updated to reflect a 30% increase on at least their Monday & Tuesday specials. Overall good service however; but a disappointing "salad" of only 1 tomato wedge plus lettuce sans onions although thank goodness the pasta was cooked al dente so, there's that.
We ordered the family meal which was not a bad deal for what it came with , unfortunately the pizza was terrible worst pizza I’ve had In a while ,pizza was way to greasy and floppy it kept falling apart it a mess! The Dough was way to thick the lasagna was ok but only reason I’m giving this post a 2 stars was because the wings were actually good and I would definitely buy those again was just disappointed in the pizza but service was great atleast
Worst experience by far out of any restaurant. Please do not go in a group more then 5 they can not handle all the orders. I gave them two chances to bring out my food and still nothing. Over 35 minutes of waiting everyone else was already finished eating. This was my first time amd last time going here. Unacceptable if their was 0 star I would have chose that instead.
The food was awful. There was barely any meat in my meat sauce. It was mostly chunks of tomatoes. I've had microwave dinners with more taste. If your cooking Italian put some garlic in your sauce. The meatballs had no flavor and were hard as rocks. It was $ 34.27 for two dinners that said $10.50 and $11.50 with two sodas . Not really sure what kind of math that was. The place was also filthy. Food all over the tables and floors. Tons of workers standing around. The garlic bread was good.
I would give zero stars if I could. Honestly, worst experience ever. I was so excited because I had been wanting Italian food for a while. When we got there the people were so nice, however it took over 45 minutes to get our order. Then we went home and my pasta tasted like it was from the freezer. Worst of all, there were two hairs in my wings!!!! I was absolutely disgusted and had to throw all of it away. Will not be back, very disappointed.
Ordered $100 worth of food and was told 30 min. 1hr later when I called,no one new anything about my order? Place is trash just like there employs,I will never come back here again,I'd rather have digorno.
Dino's is the place to go if you want to: Have inconsistent quality in what you order ie; delicous, wet meatball sandwich one time, dry meatball sandwich the next. - Find hair in your food - disgusting!! - Argue with a belligerent, old man who likes to blame the customer, instead of trying to improve the standards 9f his restaurant. - How about having your employees wear hairnets so their hair doesn't fall in the food your customers eat?!
This was my secret weapon for over 30 years. Nearing the end of raising 4 children, we are all veteran Dinos diners - hands down, the best meatballs this side of the Atlantic. Since we now live 40 mins away, this is a special occasion treat. On Friday, we came as a party of 5 for my daughter's 16th birthday. We arrived at around 5:40, the place was nearly empty - maybe 8 other customers. It took about 15 minutes for our initial order to be taken, but that did finally happen. We ordered a large pie, some spaghetti, some ravioli, some moz sticks, minestrone, sodas, and of course plenty of meatballs. By 6:15 we had been there over 30 mins and still no drinks. Another couple came in and sat across from us. Our same waitress took their order. They immediately received their drinks. Our waitress apologized for our delay and brought sodas and the moz sticks. The couple across from us received their entire dinner. We had been there about 50 mins and had moz sticks, they had been there maybe 20 mins and had their entire dinner. The wife and I exchanged very quiet and polite looks, but said nothing else. About 5 mins later, our waitress walked by, stopped and apologized again. She said that they had an unexpected large dinner crowd (??), had run out of prepared food, and was cooking ours fresh! It would be out in another 5 mins. Now, my wife and I both looked around a basically empty restaurant. I say 'empty' because we've seen Dinos absolutely busting at the seams full - and this was definitely EMPTY. Ok, so we were lied to. Doesn't matter, something was wrong, but we would just get through it. Dinner arrived. The minestrone was absolutely horrible. It was luke warm if that, and all of the vegetables were still raw and crispy. The onions could not even be eaten. It was just awful. My daughter and I had spaghetti, the wife had ravioli. My daughter asked for some parmesan added to her pasta dish, so we gave her the jar on the table and she added it. After a few bites, she said it all smelled and tasted strange. She refused to eat the rest of it. I ate half of mine and one meatball, and I agreed it did not taste right. It is now past 7 o'clock, everyone is frustrated and angry, so we ask for containers so we can take it home and just leave. Worst restaurant experience since I can remember, and daughter's birthday dinner destroyed. About 3 AM, I awoke to such severe nausea and diarrhea... I will spare you the details. In the middle of THAT, my daughter woke up saying she felt sick. Then my wife got up with all of us saying she had thrown up an hour earlier. All 3 of us who had pasta, minestrone and meatballs were sick as dogs while the two boys who only had pizza were fine. Now, an entire family who has regularly spent their money there for over 30 years, will never spend their money there ever again. I can't imagine the taste of those meatballs again, after throwing them up all night. In addition, an entirely NEW generation of paying customers will all now likely never patronize that restaurant ever as adults. The loss is staggering... but it is what it is. We had no real plan B. If we had a plan B restaurant, it was Hometown Buffet, but that's not an option anymore. Not going to drive almost an hour and prepare to spend over $100 just to gamble on another disaster. Good luck in the future, Dinos, and good luck to anyone who can gamble with their dinner and/or event plans.
