I have been there before. Great Food and Service. Some people are trying to close harm this business with fake reviews to loot owners of the business. Should support businesses here, not loot. Period
It’s the best poke restaurant. Food is tasty and amazing, definitely a must-go place!
Very good selection of food. Staff was very helpful and attentive to us. Price is very decent considering the portions you get. Overall food and experience was good.
Jamie is so kind and friendly. Poke also really tasty. And i love ramen in pokebar. There are so many options to try. 👍👍
Even though the staff were busy with take out orders, I was impressed that I received the best service while dining it. Greeted and served with the smile and the food was delicious.
SO DELICIOUS!! My absolute favourite poke place in vancouver. such friendly staffs and so many options to choose from🥰 great portions and yummy food! I keep coming back to this place🤍
Delicious poke bowls my go to lunch pick up during my work day. Staff are always so helpful and attentive
Service is super friendly and efficient. Good varied options for add-ons, proteins & mix-ins. Very happy to have a poké place in the hood!
Delicious poke and the friendliest service every time. Thank you 🙌
Very delicious Every ingredients in the bowls were very fresh and the ramens were great too
I don't normally write reviews however this Poke Bar has really fresh ingredients and has a wide range of selections making delicious bowls which I love and I immediately had to share it with others. The service was very helpful and kind. I will definitely be visiting again soon.
Tried the self heating ramen bowl and it was really cool! Normally it’s a bit pricey but it’s a nice novelty once in a while. Works great for take out. The ramen itself was good (not extraordinary but good regardless) but I was all about the bowl. Note that I couldn’t place a take out order by phone and had to use their online ordering system. Staff were kind :)
The food was super fresh, and the staff were so friendly and polite. Thank you for your excellent service!
Got a take out. Beautiful presentation. Fresh ingredients. Generous portion of proteins. Super delicious. Better than most poke places I've been to. Highly recommended!!
Second time have a meal at poke bar. First time at this particular store. The food was fresh and tasty. Store was clean and tidy. Staffs were friendly with good service. Price was reasonable. Would come back!
I don't like raw fish that much so I never tried Poke before but I changed my mind after eating it this time. I had brown rice, sweet and spicy tuna, shoyu tuna, spicy salmon with spicy house and wasabi mayo sauce. I was surprised because it was so good. I wanna try aburi bowl next time.
I got a bowl, this is my first time today. Today’s staff ( a girl) is friendly and suggested for me some items. Thank you so much for your help. My bowl was super delicious!! I will come back again:)
Awesome place to eat, super healthy food. It's like subway for super salads essentially, no wraps or buns or any heavy carb junk like that just a side of rice. It's like sushi how they have raw fish and wasabi in a salad form. Very interesting. I went with a safe bet getting cooked chicken and salmon and it was absolutely delicious. Would go any day.
I eat here constantly!! the food is amazing, and the everyone there is so welcoming and nice. highly recommend it!
I am not much of a pokeista nor have I been to Hawaii. However, I do like their poke compared to the other establishments. Also, they're 100% Japanese. The poke balls remind me of the sashimi dons, great quality.
The staff was really kind :) Food tastes fresh and amazing as well. Would recommend!
Their poke is really good, and staff is always happy to see you. Their newest addition of "aloha" curry bowls and aburi style seared poke is a huge highlight. It's the first place in Vancouver I've seen that has aburi style poke, really delicious!
Great place overall and they had free miso soup when I went which was a bonus! Food was good and portion size was also great.
YUM! First time eating here and the bowl was sooo good. The house sauce is delicious! And the bowls are so easy to make vegan !! :)
good food, great service, cute atmosphere! the worker there helped me decide what to get since it was my first time visiting. definitely coming again!
This is my husband’s and mine’s favorite place to have lunch during the week, I like raw fish and he loves pork, beef and chicken which they offer as well. Please don’t change!
First time trying Aburi Poké Bowl and I loved it! Had to wait for a few minutes but it was totally worth it! The torched salmon with the teriyaki sauce and mayo is the best ; )
The service was eye opening amazing, food was generous and delicious! Will be recommending it to all and I will be back :)
Terry recommended the best poke bowl ever! He walked me and my girlfriend through the ingredients and toppings like a professional. I will definitely be going back. Thanks Terry!!
Great portions and after learning that their beef bowls are just as good as the poke bowls im hooked 😋
I'm obsessed with their poke bowl since I've tried once. It's best in town for me. Always fresh, delicious and good portions. Thank you.
Great taste and value. The staff is very polite and nice. I had the Spicy Pork Bowl and my wife had the Tuna Poké Bowl. Would recommend.
This was the best poke I’ve ever had! The staff were so friendly, and they recommended the perfect sauce, making it the best poke of my life. I didn’t know there was a poke place here, but I think I’ll be coming here often from now on.
The poke bowls here are an absolute delight—fresh, flavorful, and delicious! The ingredients are top-notch and fresh, with unique flavourful sauces that make each bowl a savory masterpiece. The service is friendly, attentive, and fantastic. The space is clean, inviting, and offers a comfortable ambiance, perfect for enjoying these bowls. A definite go-to for a delightful poke experience!
High quality ingredients, fair prices, good portions, really friendly service, great location, and sometimes complimentary miso soup!
Ordered the large 3 protein Poke on brown rice, fresh ingredients, tasty large choices of condiments, tasty sauces, & 5 different toppings, my wife & I shared this large generous serving of the best Poke to date, Definitely will drive back from Richmond to Poke Bar East Vancouver, Great friendly staff, Highly recommended.ĺ
Delicious poke and the staff were so kind and accommodating! I recommend. Dine in is recommended as you get a nice ceramic bowl instead of a takeout bowl.
My poke was delicious, the ingredients were fresh, very friendly service and nice atmosphere. I will certainly be back.
The food and service was pretty good, and the price for the vegetarian options is relatively cheap! The restaurant space is very open concept and modern, bright and welcoming. The girl who served me was very friendly and provided all the information I needed according to my dietary restrictions. And the food was fresh and delicious as I expect from poke. It's awesome that they have easily noticeable and labeled plant based options. I will definitely dine here again for a delicious and quick bite!
Fabulous, fresh sushi. Great choices, extras and toppings. 2-protein bowl: 12.95. 4 types of tuna available. Green kale noodes: extra 1.25, but definitely worthwhile. Helpful staff. Good lighting. Modern world pop rock music. High ceilings. Long tables and short. Large picture windows. Telus WiFi
One of the best poke places I have tried in the area and I have tried most of them. The salmon and scallops were so fresh as were the toppings and I am normally very particular about my fish. I built my own bowl and for the price it was amazing but I do wish that there were a bit more toppings in the bowl. I ordered this one off skip the dishes so I was obviously paying for the convenience but will definitely be back for more!
I usually never write a reviews, but this is place is one of my favourites to grab a food from during my lunch breaks! I’ve been coming here for over past three months and I just love this place!
The ingredients were super fresh. There were a bunch of sauce options, so I asked the staff and they recommended the house sauce and garlic mayo. They were a bit sweet but not heavy at all, and went perfectly with the salmon. I actually wanted to add more because it was so good. The brown rice was soft and flavorful—way better than other brown rice I’ve had. The staff were really friendly too. Honestly, this was the best poke I’ve ever had!
Best place for Korean fusion poke in Vancouver. Great service. Consistently wonderful taste. Other bowls are also tasty.
The food is so delicious, the staff are super friendly, and everything is fresh. I usually don’t write reviews, but this was too good not to. Are the owners Korean? I’m so happy to find food in Canada that really matches my taste!
One of my favourite daily lunch pick up place. Fresh ingredients, good ambiance, nice staff, healthy choices... etc. Can't go wrong here. I sometimes pick up a bowl of Poke salad as a part of our dinner and it is a great addition to our dinner as an appitizer. I recently started Keto diet and this place still works. It is such an awesome local restaurant option.
My favorite poke spot in Vancouver! I love the clean and welcoming space, and the staff is incredibly kind and patient with my kids, helping them place their orders. The food was fresh and delicious—our go-to for a healthy, affordable meal! The best 👍
Great spot for fresh and tasty poké. You can customize your bowl with lots of options, and the portions are generous. Every staff is friendly and the service is quick. Perfect for a healthy, satisfying meal! Definitely a must-visit poké restaurant for anyone who loves fresh and tasty meals.
Wonderful foooood, super fresh and delicious at am affordable price <3 The staff was very kind and guided me through the process of making a pokebowl!! They even have me a cute stamp card for a free side (5) and free bowl (10)! I got everything that had the word spicy in it... And my only complaint is that it's not spicy enough for me!
One of my favorite Poke bar in Vancouver. They have lots of varieties! First time, I was surprised at colorful ingredients and big portion. Everything was freshly prepped. I tried most menus and my favorite sauce is Garlic mayo with house sauce. Try their famous “Self heating Ramen”. It’s amazing and delicious! I found it was better than famous ramen shop that I’d waited for almost an hour to get seated. Strongly recommend for those who are healthy eaters and also for dieters. Underground Parking is easy to access. $2/hr. Friendly, informative and kind staff. Clean and spacious! I would like to visit here more often.
They have really good food. The portion I received was generous. The staff at the bar is very friendly and supportive. She volunteered to help me by serving my meal at the table because I am on crutches.
Definitely fresh. Portions are nice. I do like the build your own bowl option vs the “this is what you get” option. Customer service is good. The girls behind the counter are a little quiet, but friendly.
Situated at a very convenient location, this poke bar is never short of foot traffic. The place is clean, airy and with lots of seatings, both indoor and outdoor. The food is fresh and there’s many options to choose from. I can appreciate their efficiency in serving the food and making this place run smoothly. All the utensils they use here are recyclable, which is good.

Delicious every single time! I highly recommend this spot if you like Poke. I like both the traditional poke and the aburi bowl. I always add a little cilantro, masago and avocado to whatever I order but the aburi has been my fave as of late.
At this Poké Bar location, I tried one of their pokes, which had 4 Proteins (2 scoops of Raw Salmon, a scoop of Raw Ahi Tuna, and a scoop of cooked chicken), Avocado, Boiled Egg (Half), Brown Rice, Edamame, Kale, Corn, Spring Mix, Sesame Oil, their Original Sauce, Imitation Crab Meat, Fried Onion, Nori, Sesame Seed, and came along with a Miso Soup! The quality of the food was nice, and the bowl had a nice flavour. I really liked that the Boiled Egg looked way less artificial compared to the Boiled Egg other restaurants offer to add to either a Bowl or a Soup. The price given the portions of the food was reasonable, and the service was very nice and friendly.
Very kind staff - good portions for a good price. Lots of options to pick from. I didn't feel pressured to buy the addons for the bowl like I was in some other Poke restaurants.
My OG poke bar before poke was everywhere. Always fresh, always delicious, and the service never misses. I’ve tried other spots… I still come back here. Loyalty has been earned.
Steve’s Poke is one of my favorites poke restaurant but this one and specifically this location is amazing as well. Food is great and customer service is even better!
I decided to come in today after going to the gym to grab some much needed lunch. Let me just say this place is not only clean inside, but the deals here are really great for poke bowls. The prices are also fairly reasonable considering the amount of toppings, and protein you receive. Reina that served me was so kind and made friendly conversation. She gave me generous portions and because of this, I definitely would come back. She was friendly when I asked for water and I will return back to this location. Please promote Reina :).
The portions are incredible and actually fill you up. Not only that, but they are generous with the proteins. 💯
Hands down the best poke restaurant in Vancouver. The food was amazing and so fresh! Also the server was so kind and helpful, really made me feel like at home :)

This is hands down the best poke I've ever had! Every single vegetable was incredibly fresh and juicy, and the spicy salmon and ahi tuna (with California mix) tasted like they were just caught—so flavorful and tender. The staff were polite and professional, which made the experience even better. I also loved the service station with its clean white stone front—so neat and beautifully lit. Everything was perfect, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Pretty standard poke place - the food is good and the atmosphere is fine, but nothing to write home about. Can't go wrong if you are craving poke by coming here.
Went in to do some dinner takeouts today. Staffs were nice and friendly. Both were following covid protocols strictly wearing gloves, masks when they prep. Got recommended small size poke and was quite good for quick meal. Just one thing, never tried their ramen but $15 for ramen in poke place seems quite expensive. Other than that was clean and quick.
Loved how you can create your own Poke! I enjoyed every bit of it. Would have given them a 5 ⭐️ but the space was boring. I love my food with a view😁
I used to love coming to this place. I even got a free bowl from purchasing 10 bowls. Love their asian choices of sauces and sides. However, they have reduced their portion recently. I asked for more rice and need to charge $1.5... I no longer feel full after even having a 3 protein... paid $19.5 and I need to spend more to buy an extra snack to make myself full... I will stop coming here...
I love poke bowls. With fresh fish meat and veggies, it seems the best weekday lunch option. The only problem is that the price is a bit higher than what I can afford for every day's lunch.
Good portions but a bit pricey
I was just there for the third or fourth time, just a few minutes ago, and except for somr client card challenges that had nothing to dp with the establishment or the staff, I really enjoyed my experience.
Fast and friendly service! The poke bowl tastes pretty decent, nothing extraordinary, but definitely quite flavorful. Perhaps my only major complaint is that they didn't have a compost bin, so even though their bowls themselves are compostable, they'd unfortunately end up in the trash.

Ingredients were fresh and flavour was decent. However, possibly because we made a large 10+ bowl order, the rice they gave to all of us was wet and mushy. Interestingly, medium and large were delivered in the same sized take out bowl but there was very little visible difference. Perhaps the only difference is the extra protein you can choose. I need to give points for doing that many bowls and not mixing up the orders. Many other places, like bubble tea, have mixed up orders of this size badly in my past. Another interesting point is that their name on Uber Eats is Aloha Plates, but on Google Maps, it's Poké Bar. Was slightly confusing for me.
Being a big fan of poke, this place was quite average. Selection of food was decent, but the vibe of the place was more like a fast-food. This would be a good place for a casual quick bite with a friend, but I wouldn't go out of my way to try it. Price was okay as well :)

Not enough greens in portion compared to steve;s poke or pokerito, portion small not worth price
The food was very good. Good quality fresh ingredients and delicious. The problem is the amount of food you get. I took the vegetarian ball which is 9.95 + taxes and tips and I got out hungry. It is a shame, I get that we live in a capitalist society but it is still outrageous that you get a quarter of a meal with 12 bucks.
The poke here is good but they are so cheap on the portions and scoops. I asked for a little more rice and was refused. I asked for a little more salad and was also given grief over. To keep a loyal customer, offering a little more base cost you a few pennies. Unfortunately, I won’t be back based on small portion sizes.
Not a good restaurant. Rat on poke bowl and the company is refusing to address the situation professionally. No principle and gaslight costumers.
I got food poisoning from their food. Tasted good though, big portion but not worth the pain✋
I have eaten from different locations. The portion size here was inadequate. This was put together sloppy. There was barely any lettuce. They forgot the corn. The portion was so small it barely filled the bowl. Maybe in-person this place is different. However, if you order via UberEats, this was nothing short of an absolute rip off and total disappointment. Do not recommend.
(This rating is based on a specific visit and experience) We had went once beforehand and was pleasantly surprised. The ramen had a decent serving and was piping hot when served. The curry ramen had a thick and rich broth that was authentic to Japanese curry. The poke bowl was large and the raw tuna and salmon were incredibly fresh and delicious. But the second time, we ordered the ramen again, it was cold and not cooked through. The soup tasted completely different (watery and no flavor). They ran out of the self-heating bowls that they use for ramen, but did not tell us beforehand. The ramen was served in compostable bowls (for poke) that were breaking down already as it's not suited for liquids. The portion was half of last times. We asked them to reheat the ramen and they did, but it still came out lukewarm. The bean sprouts were crunchy and raw. Horrible experience. The bill for 3 bowls of cold uncooked ramen was over $60.
The employee behind the counter was on the phone. And when I pointed out she forgot to put egg in my ramen, she was quick to say no, and was still on her mobile device on a call. The photo of the ramen I ordered also had two egg slices and she gave me just one, after I told her to refer to the photo. I pointed this out and she said no sorry that's a different one when there was only one ramen dish on the menu. Terrible experience, I was hungry so I just ate the dish. Never coming back again.
I was really looking forward to trying out the new poke in our neighbourhood. I like the bar style and the portions seem reasonable. My concerns are these: (1) they use only farmed salmon which is known to contain contaminants plus causes devastating environmental impacts. (2) they offer no bins to compost or recycle their compostable and recyclable containers. All goes into the garbage. I raised both concerns with the lovely staff who said they would share with the owner. In an age when people are more likely to vote with their dollars for socially and environmentally sustainable practices we need to see more businesses transitioning away from the issues I’m addressing here.
The ramen bowls aren't amazing. For takeout, they use a heating system in which warms it up upon arrival. Unfortunately, it ruins it with its chemical smell upon pouring the cold water into it. Also I ordered 2 eggs added into the soup and to my realisation. There were only 1 half of one.. Not even a whole egg.
Mice aren’t food! Can’t imagine what kind of seriously poorly adjusted person it would take to serve a customer a mouse and then get defensive about it. Probably a pretty good indicator of the practices they follow in the rest of the business
My friend found a dead mouse in his bowl and the CEO and owner have taken no accountability. My friends and I use to go here all the time but never again. Their behavior is absolutely disgusting! If you’re okay with supporting a business that has a CEO that would rather accuse the customer of lying rather than taking care of the issue professionally, then feel free to continue eating here.
I’m genuinely so upset, I ordered 2 poke bowls on skip. One is normal even though they missed the sauce, and the other was literally a ball of rice with a small bit of toppings all mixed together on the side. Like only 4 edamame beans and barely any protein. It’s a $20 bowl and you are making 2 side by side. How do you screw it up THAT bad? Also doesn’t help that skip the dishes help line doesn’t respond for a refund. Actually ridiculous
While this place tastes decent, the portion to price ratio is terrible. I asked for half greens, half rice and the server literally have me 8 pieces of spinach. The scoops they use for the fish are pathetically small. Ending up paying $18 including tip for a medium bowl of poke and I was still hungry after the meal....
