My first time there. Local place. You know the food is good when the place is packed with hungry workers. Our meals did not disappoint.

6/21/25 finally back for breakfast. Still possibly the Best breakfast sandwich in the city! The "Torta". 4/2/23 back for breakfast! Still so good. Plastic wrap is finally gone from the counter area. :) 4/23/22 breakfast torta and a smoothie! A perfect meal. 9/19/21 back for breakfast- huevos rancheros, excellent!! + Good coffee. Friendly service. Upgraded 5⭐ 9/17/21 Back for lunch, I had two chicken tacos. Really good! A new favorite. Been here a few times for breakfast, torta is my standard order. Like home cooking. Got #14 smoothie-

Honestly the best restaurant we went to in NYC. So good we went back multiple times. In particular the breakfast and Mexican food are out of this world! Also some of the best homemade hot sauces I have ever tried.

Ordered the pita platter. The fries were perfect. The gyro was tasty. The service was attentive. What more could you ask for for less than $20?

Love their chicken tacos and tacos Dorado's. The staff is always pleasant. Usually fast service unless you are ordering during lunch time.

Sunday costumer “Breakfast “ Expensive but hey food is expensive right ? When I go with my family the waitress gives amazing costumer service usually in a Sunday it’s busy so I do understand longer wait . But overall breakfast 🥞 is Good . Clean ,excellent costumer service , good food .

I always order from here good and fast delivery but one thing I disliked was the salmon and their juices but tacos , quesadilla and salads I highly recommend

This place is good , always busy . would give more stars however they rarely wear gloves .

Love their chicken soup but never buy a smoothie from there. They have a menu but You still have to tell her what you add to a smoothie it’s kind of ridiculous. What’s the point of the menu

Found a dead fly in my sandwich once. This place is OK the food is OK. Not even a 3 star restaurant. I miss the old place that use to be here (Gus Restaurant).

The aura of this establishment has declined significantly since about 2019. Year by year the customer service, the taste of the food and the etiquette have all nearly vanished. I used to eat here every weekend and never felt the salutations of a “regular”. The boss always has an attitude, doesn’t have any regard for the way he speaks to people, and it transcends onto all the other workers over the course of the day. Even when he tries to cover it up he’s angry. Also, one could eat the same meal here 4 days out of the week and it’s almost guaranteed your meal will never be the same price. On the menu, all prices have shot up despairingly and they still find a way somehow to tax an extra dollar or two on top of it all. I mean how is a paper thin watered down pancake, 2 eggs, bacon n toast $13 ?!?! The menu will tell you a cheeseburger is $6 or $7 and for some reason the total comes to $9.73. They do this calculation to tax you for their restaurant before entering the new price into the machine that’s gonna tax you AGAIN. I’m over that whole wave also. Then, they have the nerve to hand you a pen with a receipt for tip…. I ought to put a negative number down fooling with these folks. What am I tipping for, the attitude you gave or the fact that Im dining in but still getting up and grabbing my own drink? Watch the lady with the big eyes, she will try to charge you for things you didn’t order and the condescending boss will go right along with. Over the years the only thing still carrying this establishment is the smoothie bar. That never misses. But even those were around $5 and $6 dollars respectively (M/L) about 3 years ago. I think the nostalgia of this place once being so preferable is what makes it daunting now. People get tired

I specifically asked for BACON. Instead, I got beef bacon they really think people can't distinguish between the two SMH, not ordering here no more...

Placed an order at 9:30am and recieved it 11:15am. Called 2x and the 2nd time I called to cancel and then the owner asked to bring it himself. I agree bc I'm not a person that dont like food to go to waste. But there will not be a 2nd time. Sorry👎

HORRIBLE!!!! The waitress took too long to serve us and to take our order and served other people who arrived after us faster. How do they get their food first when they just arrived and order at the spot and we was still waiting for our food ... I Do not recommend this place at all horrible service !!!!

I use to love there burritos but when specially made a request on your order they do what they want to do with your food. I use to order a burrito with a little bit of rice,extra meat, beans and everything else but what I use to get is a burrito full of a rice, no meat and heavy tomatoes. The thing that kills me me is that I repeat my wants over and over again during the call, the person who takes the order acts like he understands you and they mess up your order; but they argue blaming it on you! I like their food but it's not that serious!

This food is just ok but the owner and the employees of this establishment is ridiculously rude. I use to be a regular to this cafe but I stop buying food because of their behavior. It's one thing to have amazing food and sub par service however this place have ok food and terrible customer service what's worst is the owner is the worst of them all. I decided to give another try after about 7 months and still returned back to same behavior. I am done, they will not see another penny from me. When you try to support your neighborhood and get rude business owner that don't appreciate or understand the meaning of customer service.

This morning I called and told them I wanted scrambled eggs with cheese and sausages with toast. She asked me did I want any home fries? I asked how much is it with home fries and she said 9.50 I next asked, how much is it on card and she told me 10.07 lastly I told her to remove the home fries thinking it won't be so expensive and then when I went to pick up my order I was told it was $13.07 so I won't go too much into it other than to say how the heck is two scrambled eggs with cheese and three sausages with two pieces of toast $13.07. My food carton had no weight to it and my eggs weren't scrambled. Make it make sense. Price games was played here and left me with a bad experience. So for 13.07 I will never eat here again.
