This is a great place for authentic New York pizza! It's a tiny place on the inside, but comfortable. The staff was really friendly. Had a margherita pizza and it was outstanding. They also have yummy garlic knots!

Being from NY I have tried hundreds of places for pizza. I have yet to find a better pizza than Brooklyn Homeslice Pizza. Owner showed us all the choices and the high quality ingredients. Thanks Yazied! Definitely recommend to come here.

That Sicilian pepperoni slice ain't no joke. Born and raised in Brooklyn I've eaten my fair share of pizza slices but their Sicilian is definitely a top 3 favorite. Will come back for more.

Great pizza place. We grabbed a couple of slices and ate outside. The crust, toppings everything was pretty good and a generous size too. The staff was helpful and nice.

This place slaps. The pizza was great and I appreciated that they are open late for when you really need pizza

Truly excellent. $2.75 for a plain slice. The dough is apparently made without sugar and given time to rise. It makes for a very unique toasty texture. I usually pay more attention to cheese and sauce on my slices and the cheese and sauce were excellent here but the crust was what made it stand out. The service was very friendly and they have a little bench outside where you can sit and enjoy the weather. Definitely a can't miss!

Damien is absolutely amazing . His incredible people skills makes my experience here top tier every time .. from taking a large order over the phone during high volume traffic to greeting and connecting in person on arrival his great vibes are consistent . . Super thankful for him he is a blessing here !

The pizza is very good here. The crust is light and sort of flaky and the slices have just the right amount of sauce and cheese to be a gooey delightful mess. I haven't tried their other dishes but the pizza alone is worth a trip back

F

Quality cheese and sauce. Dough thin to perfection. Fluffy crust with a little crisp. Great during summers with outdoor seating on Vanderbilt Avenue. The pizza wildly UNDERRATED. Keep up the good work!

J

The slices have amazing prices! $3 for a normal slice and $4.50 for a sicilian which are delicious. The quality far surpasses the price point and rivals some slices I've seen in the city that go for $6-7. This isnt even mentioning the great warm flavor they showcase in every slice. Traditional NYC pizza spices and a real pizza oven. Only issue is the smaller seating space, but you're not going to find a much bigger pizza place in the neighborhood.

I love Brooklyn's home slice pizza they are new to the area and my office has taken advantage of their location which is only 2 blocks away. The pizza is a-mazing the crust is nice and crisp not too thick, not too crunchy, the grandma's Sicilian is great, as well as the the garlic knots.

Finally in the area and got a slice of the Home Slice pizzeria pepperoni pizza. Worth the trip and next time will get a whole pie. They should open this pizzeria in the Bay Ridge area.

Cool little place with great slices and nice people behind the counter. The red sauce is the real standout, but the other ingredients are solid and the crust is uniquely crunchy without straying too far from the standard “NY slice” definition. Also travels well for delivery, and reheats exceptionally well too.

B

I stopped by here and picked up a Sicilian slice. It was delicious, cheap and came out quickly. You can’t ask more when you’re getting a New York slice. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll stop by.

So I discovered this place one random summer day. The pizza was ammmmaaazinggggg- cheesy, saucey, thin crust with just a slight crispy! Finally I was able to order a pie last night….. truly the worst pizza pie. Felt like I was eating dry bread with hardly and sauce or cheese. It’s not good… where are the Good NY pizza spots at?! Again- hardly any cheese (like the cheese running when you pull it away from the pie), hardly any sauce (couldn’t taste it well, hardly had to wipe my lips with a napkin), and taste very bready and dry. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I’ll never travel an hour to grab a pie from there again. Hopefully if you try, you’ll experience something similar to my summer introduction to this place Update April 29th: owner was right, they just had an off day. Went back- yummy slice

I love the pizza here the only thing is sometimes I’m charged more for the same slices I get …. Which is weird … I got two slices the other day and it was 9 something 2 days before that it was almost 14 bucks 5 days before that it was 11 something and I got the same thing all 3 times a margarita slice with beef pepperoni & a plain margarita slice

Y

First time I came was in the middle of the night near closing time and they gave us the free pizza because they were gonna throw it out. The second time we ordered a pie and it was completely burnt on the bottom side.. we didn't want to walk back come back to complain about it.. pizza was still good. I'd just check the bottom of pizza next time. $35 for buffalo chicken, 2 slices is good enough for 1 person.. very filling 👌

I always order the Grandma Pizza here, its so good! As are their wings! Please add deep dish pizzas and strombolis!

I’m always looking for a great pizzeria. Heard a lot about this place so I decided to visit . I ordered my usual two slices and Diet Coke . I have to say first they were very welcoming and attentive to customers. I noticed that there was a sign that they don’t use sugar and sugar is for cakes. I thought to myself this is even better because I’m always looking to cut on calories when I can. The pizza was classic New York style nice crust had a nice crunch to it yet soft and you can tell they use quality cheese because there’s that bite to it. Believe it or not a lot of places don’t use quality cheese . Sauce has a nice fresh taste to it . I highly recommend this place . Will definitely be coming back.

Coming from Chicago and having really good pizza there. I decided to finally try pizza in NY, someone that was showing me around told me about Homeslice. I decided to try it out and WOOOOW! Chicago you have some competition. I couldn’t decide what slice I wanted because they all looked great, I ordered a pie of margarita and a few Sicilian squares. I like this place a lot and I’m definitely coming back with my family

A

Best New York slices in the area hands down. Staff is excellent and always friendly, pizza is absolutely top notch, and they’ve even made an outdoor seating area despite having never been a primarily dine in place. Get either the grandma slice, or Sicilian with pepperoni, you won’t be disappointed!

I don't understand the latest reviews, really. This spot is one of the best pizza joints in the city, hands down. Their eggplant pizza, the margherita and the vegetarian ones are my favorite! Don't skip their garlic knots 🤤 they're delicious and honestly a steal for the price

J

Great local slice shop run by genuinely nice people. Our go-to slices are usually the pepperoni & jalapeño, sicilian or chicken bacon ranch if you want something a little heavier - all excellent. Fully recommended!

Hands down one of the best pizza spots in all of nyc. I’m a native New Yorker, grew up in Brooklyn from way back in the 90’s, so I know GOOD PIZZA. The pizza is cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. Their pepper flakes are my favorite because they use peppers that have some actual heat to them. The consistency is also amazing. This is my go to pizza location ever since I discovered it.

I think the current rating is a bit low. This place had truly delicious pizza. The crust was fresh and delicious and toppings were perfectly balanced. Delicious in my book

My friends & I were on a quest for late-night pizza in the Brooklyn neighborhood last Friday, and this was the perfect way to end the night. We went right before closing, but the staff was still so welcoming and friendly and heated our pizzas nice and hot. Bonus points for the staff's generosity as well! The pizza was delicious, the crust was crispy, and the cheese to tomato sauce ratio was just right. I tried the melanzana and grandma styled slice, both were tasty. The Grandma slice was some of the best I've had, with extra herby and crispy crust--highly recommend!

Got my personal favorite kind of slice (Margherita) along with their Grandma slice and upside-down Sicilian slice. The Margherita was great. You can tell it was made fresh and so we're the other slices. Melty cheese, sauce had a slight sweetness to it, and the crust was crispy with a hint of a garlic undertone. Service was quick, and the staff was well mannered. I came at peak lunchtime hours and wasn't in there for longer than fifteen minutes. The store itself has a lot of character and personality, as seen in the shirt vid I took. There is some seating inside and outside for patrons. An all around nice place, I got zero complaints.

Frugal Cyclist

$3.50 a slice in Park Slope. Busy spot, waited about 5 minutes total. Pizza came out warm with cheese dripping. Nice thin crust with good flavor. I love the location with outdoor bench seating on a closed off street on Vanderbilt bike path. BYOB is what I saw at the next table 😊. Very scenic & good place to relax a bit after 40 miles of cycling. Definitely made it to my TOP FAVES 👍

We ordered a large cheese 🧀 pizza 🍕 and a large grandma pizza with a 20pc order of wings and an order of garlic knots and as you can see we didn't even leave a moment before digging right in. The food was delivered on time, fresh, hot and so sinfully delicious!!! I would 100% recommend recommend this place and the items that we had Tonight.

I purchased a Sicilian slice and a eggplant parm slice. Let me begin with the Sicilian, the crust was light and airy and crispy all at the same time. The cheese pull is real! The eggplant slice was absolutely amazing! The fresh mozzarella cheese, the crispy eggplant, and the sauce ugh! I most definitely recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

A new rendition of the NY slice joint. Grandma slice was irresistible: herby crust, copious red sauce, dollops of pesto, and enough cheese to hold it all together. Delicious. Staff very welcoming. Great spot overall.

R
Rizzo Denise

The cashier was very nice! I like that they have a tv in their shop! Me and my friend watched Batman vs Superman on their tv as we ate lol The pizza was very good. I wanted more after I was done! Wasn't greasy nor hard. Generous toppings on my slices, the only thing I'd say is the size of the place. If you looking for you and your friends to go after the game, you may want to take your slices to go. Would recommend you give it a try.

Favorite slice and best Grandma pizza for the price in Prospect Heights in my opinion since moving to this neighborhood. Friendly and helpful staff. Questionable sports fandom supporting the Yankees and Cowboys 🤔

Ordering whole pies has occasionally left me a little disappointed but their slices, garlic knots, and wings are always great. One of my favorite spots

Pizza is really good! Taste really supersede my expectations! And they have vegan options which is a plus if you don't have a nut allergy (cheese contains cashew milk) Small (very small) cozy place, great for extremely delicious quick bite. Kudos to the chef.

I was kind of impressed with this restaurant Nice and cozy and clean. Pizza was way above average great selections of toppings I ordered chicken parmigiana on a hero And it was ok. I stick with pizza next time comfortable small seating area. You will be in and out in no time during lunch Hours Enjoy.

I love brooklyn homeslice. Great neighborhood slice shop. Before I lived nearby I looked forward to going to prospect heights to get this pizza. The crust has a bit of fluffyness to it and as dusted with something that makes it delicious. Their sauce is very slightly sweet but in the best way. I love this pizza.

Good pizza, haven't really tried that much pizza in NYC. Can't go wrong here.

Not a bad place to grab a slice or two if you’re in the neighborhood and on the run. Seating is limited, service is quick, pizza meets NYC expectations.

The pizza was very good. I especially loved the pepperoni pizza. I will definitely visit when I'm in Brooklyn again.

The sauce was nice and flavorful. Could have been a bit crisper but overall it's a solid plain slice. The pepperoni was equally as good. Will return next time I'm in the neighborhood for sure.

Keepin it real out here in Brooklyn Really nice service, place looks cool, food is decent, if i ever in need of a quick slice and in the neighborhood, i would go for it. Also not the cheapest but still fine for the neighborhood

F
Frank K

The slices here are delicious including the homemade crust. They have a large number of pizzas already to be finished in their oven as you buy them. In my opinion, they should have some old time Italian sausage pizza and more varieties with mushroom. It's a bit pricey as food in Brooklyn is. A slice of pizza is over five bucks and with the pop your bill is over 10 bucks. They used to have a booth outside for eating your pizza there which I enjoyed very much. Now they have only a scant two person bistro type table and two chairs. More people would come and want to have the slice in the pop there if they had more seating as they used to.

Go-to neighborhood spot. The eggplant and Sicilian slices are my favorite and the staff is lovely. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it’s not L&Bs IYKYK

This pizza had good crust, was hot, and was a large sized slice. Sauce could’ve been more flavorful though, it didn’t really taste like much. $4 and some change is pretty steep for a plain slice but it’s priced that way because of the area I guess.

Tanner Agle

Solid slice. Not the best you've ever had, but better than most. The Sicilian slice is pillowy and crispy, just how I like it. Buffalo Chicken Slice is great too. They take a lot of pride in their slow fermented, no-sugar dough. It makes an excellent crust, but can be a little bland for me.

Solid neighborhood pizza joint - we ordered a whole Sicilian pie 🤤 sometimes you just want a hearty, thick, airy dough with a nice crust mm mm mm.

D
Destiny Rivera

The pepperoni pizza is okay, oily. The margharita sauce is good. Tried the lasagna for the first time yesterday and upon looking at it, I knew I shouldn’t have eaten it. It was unseasoned, oily, and the filling was chunky. I don’t know if it was old or what, but I was puking hours later.

G
Gottfried Leibniz

The pizza is good. The service is generally rude although there is one or two people who actually look at you and treat you alright. I keep coming back as there arn't many pizza options nearby... and the slices are indeed delish can't deny.

C
Carlos Gonzalez Gisbert

Edit: I’ve noticed that pizza quality has been a decreasing a bit. In my last order, I found a hair in the pizza. The worst part is that customer service has gone downhill. When I place an order for pick up, I always have to wait 10-15 for the crew to acknowledge me and give me my order. Unfortunately I stopped going here and now I am picking up from Da Nonna Rosa. Pizzas are fantastic and the crew is super nice. My new favorite pizza place in Prospect Heights!

J
Jaz Harper

1st time trying. Normally go across the street. My job claims it's the best. Well, I ordered two slices. One broccoli & other veggie. Great pizzas, however, just need to leave in oven a little bit longer. It was cold. Will try again & ask to keep in longer. The lady who took my order was very pleasant.

M
Maya’s Recs

Purchased the eggplant pizza and a meatball calzone. The eggplant pizza: 4/5. wasn’t bad, really tasty and had tons of ricotta cheese. The eggplant was dense and tasty, not too soggy but it weighed the pizza down so when I folded it up it fell off :( could have used a LOT more red sauce. That would have made the $5 slice worth it. Ugh, I almost wish I asked for a cup of the sauce to go because my slice had barely any. The meatball Calzone: 2/5. Zero marinara. They didn’t offer any with it either. The meatballs didn’t have much flavor, so it was literally just a meat pocket with some cheese. Would have been so good with sauce in it!!!! Not worth $10. So overall, 3/5. Will not be going back.

B
Barnabas “Beerfooddad87” Schickling

Pretty decent spot , went for the Sicilian square and the Melanza slice. Both were enjoyable, the crust is pretty light and fluffy , the eggplant was dennnnse, pretty heavy , wish there was a little more sauce . Overall if you just want a slice or two this isn't a bad for 4$ a slice.

n
n. B.

The pizza was quite good but doesn't justify the high price point. The dough was fluffy and soft with a crunch that melts in your mouth. I ordered for pickup, got there 15 minutes after time, I was told pie would be ready, and still had to wait another 15 or so as there were only two employees holding the fort down. Definitely worth a shot if you haven't tried them, and if you already have, how about another shot. Oh, and who is the genius that decided the only type of chicken topping had to be breaded? That's a huge turn-off. Like I mentioned earlier, prices are the road block, but then again, there are so many pizza joints to explore.

I have ordered here a few times and have loved the Caesar salads. Ordered a 4 Caesar salads to go, none of them came with Parmesan cheese like in the past and now the side portions of dressing have gotten smaller. Very disappointed.

Gil Franco

Pizza is great. The crust is super flavorful and has an incredible texture. But the service is often quite slow. Also, they have two cash registers on either side of the shop and it’s never clear where to order or pick up food. As a result, people cut each other in line, accidentally or intentionally and the shop has a claustrophobic feeling because no one know where to stand and wait for their food or where to pay. I hope they fix this issue soon so I can revise my review upward

G
Gary

Their pizza used to be good. Now it’s dry, chewy and they barely put any sauce on. Cheese is hard. And they screwed up the order then only wanted to refund toppings. Not going back.

R
Rosalyn McDavid

My daughter ordered this pizza for me after I bragged about it. She’s very picky and to appease me she agreed to try it. We ordered cheese pizza, garlic knots and wings. The pizza was overcooked, dry and with minimal cheese. The garlic knots were burnt. How disappointing!

T
Terrence Green

I must have struck out both times I went here. The first time I tried the Sicilian, BBQ Chicken, and Buffalo (i think). The Sicilian was solid, but both the chickens were frankly not that great, chicken was dry on one of them, cannot remember which. The second time I went here was right after I went to Joes and Sals (wanted to do a direct slice comparison). I ordered the White Cheese with Spinach and oh my god, it was the worst piece of pizza I have ever had. I'm not even exaggerating, please do not order that slice. The cheese was bad, but the spinach was awful—as if it was straight from a Great Value 99cents can and then spent the entire day waiting to be served to an unlucky patron like myself. Will not be returning, too many good options in the area to try for a third time.

S
Sarah B

Service is terrible if you're there in person. I stood on line for nearly 20 behind the customer in front when she was done the guy behind counter picks up the phone and serves the phone call order, helps the delivery guy and then walks away from the counter to do something else. I walked out after basically being ignored as a customer. The pizza is just okay, it varies not consistent. Will be hoping for a better place to open in that area since this place has gone down in service and quality since the pandemic.

J
Jasiri manzanarez

The two stars is because sometimes the pizza is good. It’s hit or miss with that, though. There’s a woman who works there and, after a few attempts, I can’t go there anymore on the off chance she’ll be there. She usually seems more interested in talking to her coworker than helping customers. When she does help, she’s rude and short with people. She’s even been nasty with my 12 year old child. Even little things that add up because there are so many. Like, when you say “thank you” she’ll say “uh huh” or nothing at all. Even in the middle of a pandemic, she doesn’t wear a mask. She gave me pizza twice that was barely warm and when I asked to heat it up, she made an annoyed face and made me wait a minute while she finished the conversation with her coworker before she did anything. Even when it’s slow, she just acts like she can’t be bothered. I can’t risk being so disrespected for often mediocre pizza anymore.

C
Chrystina Barranco

So I was a very frequent customer before the pandemic as I don’t work far and the service was always amazing. Now coming back this year of course the first place I was excited to come was here and the woman behind the register was extremely rude I called ahead of time and ordered a sausage slice and when I called she laughed and said we don’t have that and I asked are you sure because that was always what I ordered before the pandemic. She said she would have to make it I said okay no problem how long would it take she stated 5 minutes which was perfect for me. When I got there and said I called for the sausage slice she hadn’t made it but she said she can do it now, I couldn’t wait so I told her it was okay. I called the next day for the same thing and it was the same issue. The week after I went in and it was pretty busy everyone ordered and she hadn’t asked them to pay ahead of time, when i approached the register she was very rude and took a very long time to take my order she finally came and I ordered my same sausage slice and she asked me to pay ahead of time, I ignored her because she hadn’t ask anyone else and wasn’t sure why I was the only one obligated to due so, I got my slice paid and left. One of my friends came from out of town and we went to a show at the Barclays and was hungry after so of course i recommended the place, again she was extremely rude to me and my friend for absolutely no reason. My friend loved the Pizza of course but hated the service. Now today I go in and it’s the same issue I walk in it’s busy the people ahead order but aren’t obligated to pay ahead of time I get to the register this time i order the last two slices and she screams 7 dollars at me but I ignore her again and she screams it again this time I let her know when I get my food i will pay. I’m not sure what’s her issue but it’s very unprofessional. Great pizza horrible service. She said her name is domega but I’m sure that’s not true.

G
Gerardo Guerrero

Bad service, okay pizza but my biggest problems is that after midnight their service gets worse. It’s a lie that they close at 1:30am. They are open but they don’t have pizzas and they refuse to make more. At midnight they might still have some pizzas but after that they don’t really care.

T

Thought I’d give this place a shot. As it was referred to as a great place for pizza in Clinton Hill, my neighborhood. I’m a Brooklynite & take my NY pizzas very seriously. Got half a large half pep pie. For takeout, the pep slices were just ok. They remind me of the dollar slices that are made by Indians (not good but edible) or similar to dominos. The tastes like they used cheap ingredients for some reason. My partner was looking to place an order for a pie but they raised their prices to $30 for a half or 1 tipping pizzas. When many other pizza shops in the area still charge $20 for a 1-topping large pie Needless to say we advise to get pizza elsewhere & save $10. NYC inflation is very high but this is straight up greedflation

Asked them to remake a pie when mine got messed up. Manager showed up at my place and demanded the old one back and complained I ate off the old one. Never told me not to touch it or nothing - just showed up mad

The only positive: crust was good. Eggplant slice was not bad. However, the spinach ricotta and mushroom truffle slices were so underwhelming.. I’m upset I wasted $40 on it. Charging $6+ a slice for frozen spinach just thrown on the pizza is ridiculous. I think this is probably the worst spinach and ricotta slice I’ve had. The truffle mushroom pizza had 0 truffle oil .. I had to put my own. The garlic knots were very under seasoned.. I see the good reviews and I am so confused. Did we order from the same place? Maybe it was just a bad day… but I won’t be ordering from here again.

Horrible customer service. Lasagna container was open and spilled everywhere. same with the pizza. I refused delivery and called to request a refund and the. The manager/owner is a pathetic excuse for a human. refused any kind of refund and got hyper aggressive threatening to fight me because he didn't want to lose money for an order that was not filled. guy is a complete tool. Avoid this horrible place

Their service means but does not exceed third world standards. I didn’t just move to Brooklyn from Iowa I have lived here for over 60 years so it’s not a Brooklyn attitude I am taking issue with it’s how they don’t get it....this is Brooklyn!!! We got pizza here some of the best restaurants for a pie in all of the 50 states like Emily’s on Fulton Street or Graziellas on Vanderbilt...both just blocks away. So allow me too bottom line my review. The food is good and staff sucks if you are accustom to eating your food on your knees you will love this place

Pizza taste like a Florida man made it. The owner is rude and should look for a new profession. Basically if your pizzeria and you can’t make a decent slice; why are you still open? Trash owner and pizza.

Pizza took a turn for the worse, also got yelled at for asking when my order would be ready. 2 MAIN things come into play when rating a restaurant; 1. The food itself. Flavor, texture, & presentation. 2. The service/experience. Both are failing miserably... very sad.

The margarita slice was all damn cheese!! I don't even leave google reviews ever, but truly the worst slice of pizza I've ever had in nyc.

Ordered online gave a 20% tip, ready in 20 min, went there told to wait another 25 min, went back after 25min told to wait another 10 min. Got the white pizza w/spinach added olives as topping, pizza was 70% olives straight from the can and washed with tap water of any flavor, spinach was just defrosted and put in piles, nothing seasoned, globs of salt-less ricotta. Said i was disappointed and asked for refund they said it was what I ordered and that was how it is made. Not worth going for overpriced basic NY pizza.

Terrible customer service. Cashiers choose who they want to service; The guy put my slices in the same box with another customer that I don’t know, then gave me overcooked slices saying that I asked for crispy (which i never did), then gave me undercooked slices and asked if that was a problem. I wouldn’t recommend unless you like passive-aggressive service and basic pizza at a high price.

It appears that once they get busy, they choose not to do anything to keep their customers appraised. Called to check status, was told that the order would be on its way soon. One hour and 15 minutes after quoted time. I was not happy, asked for a refund and then the gentleman on the other end of the call hung up on me. I have been in the weeds working at a restaurant at least a million times, but dismissing a customer? That is not the answer. Let’s see how quickly I get a refund. If at all.

good pizza, but don’t order delivery from here if you actually want to receive your food. I ordered via slice. an hour (!!) after my order was placed they called me to say they were out of one of the slices I ordered. no big deal, but I didn’t want a replacement and asked to just have that one slice refunded. they agreed. slice customer service then tells me that my order is canceled unless I choose another item, because otherwise my order minimum would be too low for them to bother delivering. I would understand if they said this BEFORE I ordered, but really? holding my food hostage unless I spend more money on items I don’t want? I didn’t want to risk waiting another hour, so I just let them cancel the order. I usually enjoy their pizza, but this experience was very disappointing. I will not be ordering again.

Pizza was burnt, rude customer service. Mediocre pizza and good garlic knots. Won't recommend ordering from here

Brooklyn Home Slice is a neighborhood favorite, but their service is sub par. Don’t order for delivery, the food will take hours or not come. Read my review below or the many others who have said the same thing. Consider ordering from Amorina Cucina Rustica, which has better reviews, is a few blocks away and has a gluten free pizza option. Review below: My husband and I order from them frequently for large events. On 4/16/24, we ordered using UberEats. While I know that UberEats isn’t perfect, the food took hours to come to the location the was 2 mins (0.8 miles) away where we were hosting an event. When it arrived, it was missing a gluten free pie. I called them and told them that we’re going to order another regular pie and to please send the gluten free pie (it was even written in the order notes.) Brooklyn Home Slice agreed to send the gluten free pie with the new order. When the order arrived it had one regular pie and NO gluten free pie. I went to the location to explain it to how disappointed I was in the service. Instead of owning up to the error or offering a valid solution, they blamed Uber Eats for both mistakes and suggested that we call them to place orders in the future. The event attendees with gluten allergies, did not eat. Here’s the thing— Brooklyn Home Slice don’t use a service like UberEats if it doesn’t work for your business. Offer solutions instead of blaming Uber Eats drivers for forgetting the pizza (twice) and the customer for not using your restaurant delivery service. If you have a delivery service, then bring the forgotten pizza 5 minutes away to your customer. Or hand the Uber Driver the order and tell them what to take. Going the extra mile is good business, it’s that simple. (Uber Eats did refund us for the roughly $200 for both orders since the pizza that did arrive, arrived very late.)

Was given cold pizza that’s was undercooked. I order a Sicilian and my cousin had a grandma slice and chicken slice. Completely gross worst pizza of my 41 years on planet earth . They didn’t cook the pizza so my pizza was wet dough with burnt crust. So gummy and inedible. The pizza lacked flavor and ingredients . It was as if they used water to make the pizzas as it was wet and flavorless. I would never recommend this place . The guy who served us was nice but nice doesn’t cut it . Food was a negative 10 on the yuck scale

I honestly don't know what the hype is truly about this place. Honestly the pizza isn't giving. The flavors ... where?!?! Seasoning ain't it. The pizza and Sicilians are MEH! burnt pizza is just not my cup of tea. The best thing out of this restaurant was the beverages. Snapple 10/10 quenched my thirst. But the pizza is always burnt and hard like a brick. If you lack taste buds. Then this is the place to go eat! Want to try really good pizza downtown try pizza parlor near metrotech. Their pizza and flavors are to die for. Especially the Margherita. You'll thank me later! But bye now!!

Disrespectful and Insensitive Experience at Homeslice on 4th Avenue My family and I visited this Homeslice location because we’re regular customers at the Vanderbilt spot, which we’ve always loved. Unfortunately, our experience here was very disappointing. The employee at the register, Ross, was polite at first, but as soon as the manager left, his attitude completely changed. My 4-year-old son — who has sensory and special needs — was simply excited about his pizza. I had already reminded him to use a quiet voice, but Ross suddenly “shh’d” him harshly. At first, I honestly thought Ross was being playful, but then he started yelling, saying, “This is not a galley!” — directly at my child. I calmly reminded him that my son is only four and just excited, but Ross didn’t apologize or show any understanding. It wasn’t until I asked for his name and requested to speak to a manager that he quickly said, “sorry,” then immediately repeated, “Yes, this is not a galley,” as if to justify his behavior. I stayed respectful throughout, but he was defensive, and another employee — who had already been rude to other customers — tried to excuse his actions by saying my son’s excitement was “disrupting them from hearing orders.” Meanwhile, groups of high school students were talking and laughing nearby without issue. This experience showed a complete lack of empathy and professionalism, especially toward a young child with special needs. As loyal customers, we expected kindness and understanding — not hostility. I hope management at this location takes this seriously and provides better training on how to treat all families with patience, respect, and compassion.

So, when a white worker walks out from the back… Sees two Black men (one ordering and one eating), and has two Latino men making pizzas behind the counter… And proceeds to say “call the police!”… And follows it up with “call ICE!”… AND THEN, when challenged about his racist jokes, says “well that’s the relationship I have with my workers” AS IF THEY HAVE A CHOICE BUT TO JUST TAKE IT… IT IS TIME TO STOP GOING TO THIS PIZZERIA. I’ll take my pizza plain, WITHOUT a side of racism. All jokes aside.
