I had Ghormeh Sabzi here and experienced an amazing, homemade taste. Everything was perfect!”
Food was great with very generous helpings. Unique menu with menu choices not seen in many other restaurants. Staff is also quite welcoming.
Staff was friendly. Food was great (had the chicken kabob, Mediterranean salad, and fries) and the outdoor space is pretty clutch in covid times. Will return!
Really great place, the kebab was very good. The owner is very nice genuine person. They have a cool space in the back great for small gatherings.
So delicious and such wonderful hosts!!
Great atmosphere and delicious food!
Brooklyn Noosh is a rare and beloved gem on Atlantic Ave that feels intrinsically New York, unpretentious and a staple for the neighborhood. To enter the outdoor dining area, you cross a kendo dojo—an experience that will always feel special. On most nights, they have a fire going that makes the space feel warm and inviting. My first time here, the sensei from the kendo gave my partner, friends, and I Japanese sweet potatoes that he roasted over the open fire… this is the kind of place Brooklyn Noosh is. When my boyfriend and I crave burgers or wings, we go here and have our beers over an open fire.
Great food and beautiful backyard!
Wonderful juicy kebab that came quick and hot, friendly laid back atmosphere and service, will be coming back next time I’m in the area
Food is amazing and the service and atmosphere are top notch. Will definitely be returning soon.
The falafel platter was so good. This place is so cozy to hang out. I wanna come back for the lamb shank and fencing lessons
We had such a great time. The meal tastes great. You have all good standard a good restaurant should have. Thank you for providing quick service & friendly environment.
Had a delicious chicken kebab, lamb kebab and fries (such good seasoning) for take out. Everything was quick and still hot when we ate it, can’t wait to eat more Noosh in person!
An underrated spot! More people should know about this. Thoroughly enjoyed the food.
Great meatballs & lamb. Great outdoor space! Old fashioned iron works fire pit when it's cold. Undergoing renovation now.
Stopped in last night and had the Mediterranean salad, Khoresh-e Morgh and Koufteh Ghelgheli. Everything was delicious and portions were substantial. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend
Food was mad good. Vibes was great! Recommending the Khoresh-e Fesenjoon with lemon drops!!! Tell Theo Albj sent you!!!!
Brooklyn Noosh's diner is a gem. The Eggplant Caviar and Kashk-o BademjaN were a hit. The Persian Lamb Shanks and Ghafghazi Kabob were superb. Don't skip their Classic Margaritas and Five Boroughs Hoppy Lager - a perfect ending to a great meal.
Cozy atmosphere and delicious food to be found here at this spot. Our server was very friendly and recommended the ghormeh sabzi which my friend and I shared with fries we will definitely be back.
Ghormeh Sabzi and Chicken Kabob – a flavorful duo. Salad Shirazi and Hummus brought freshness and creaminess. Plus, the beer was the perfect finishing touch. Persian perfection on every plate! Cheers!
If you are looking for home cooked authentic food, this is the place to go. A family run restaurant with old school iranien music.
Masto Khiar was refreshing, and Kashke Bademjon was a savory delight. The Lamb Shank was tender and flavorful, while Ghafghazi Kabob brought a perfect blend of meats. The Gimlet and Prancing Horse cocktails added an extra layer of enjoyment.
the food is great and the staff is so amazing!!
I came here with my husband and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. This place is definitely a hidden gem Flavors were great and portions were big I’m shocked by the bad reviews I’m seeing about the food and the portions. The reviews seem a bit deceitful to me…
this is my favorite restaurant. The pomegranate chicken is unbelievable. highly recommend. Also, the owner Bezhad is a great guy. Super fun to talk to.
Brooklyn Noosh's Eggplant Caviar was a smoky delight, paired flawlessly with warm pita. The Salad Shirazi provided a refreshing start, while the Khoresh-e Fesenjoon showcased tender chicken in a delightful blend of Persian spices. Completing the experience, the Classic Margarita and Paloma cocktails were impeccably crafted, adding zest to the meal.
Chicken zereshkpolo and fesenjoon was great! Asked for Persian yogurt drink for take out and they made an amazing one fresh on the spot! Tashakkor
One of the top 5 best veggie burgers I’ve ever had. Really. Also great fries. The backyard area is super cute, too! Great music.
Was so excited to stuble upon this neighborhood gem! The food was great and the staff were so attentive and kind. Can't wait to go back again!!
Owner is a great guy with great food. If you come on a Saturday night, you will see a regular group of people. If you have never had Persian food, you will love it here.
This is one of the newest gems in all of Brooklyn! Great atmosphere in a secluded courtyard for a friendly gathering. Great beers on tap. The food is absolutely astounding - absolutely love their Burgers and Wings. Staff is very friendly, courteous, and professional! Highly recommend giving them a try - will be your new favorite spot!
went here the other night with my friends and the food was so amazing and delicious! i really like their falafel and the portions were so huge also the fesenjoon was such a perfect and sweet entree! also the saffron rice was amazing :3
I had an incredible meal here with friends - the owners are such gracious hosts and everything we ate was delicious and flavorful. Will be back soon!
I work nearby and the food is amazing! The staff are very warm and accommodating. Truly a gem of the neighborhood...I just wish they were open for lunch!
Delicious food. Lovely people. Cute space.
Brooklyn Noosh is my new favorite spot with a great ambience. I came here with a friend, we ordered Fesenjoon and Ghormeh Sabzi with some side dishes. Both dishes were delicious and plentiful. The side dishes were well seasoned and the drinks were tasty. Everything was excellent. Will definitely come back!!
i love this place 💙 a good friend of mine had a dinner party there recently. food was amazing - i'm a vegetarian and really enjoyed their hummus and eggplant dips and falafel plate. highly recommend !
We began with the Hummus and Ghormeh Sabzi, both delectable. The Chicken Kabob Sandwich was a quick and tasty choice. A Classic Margarita and Five Boroughs Hoppy Lager were great additions to our meal.
Awesome spot! Beautiful backyard and great food
Delicious kebab meal, very welcoming host!
Such a hidden gem of Brooklyn! The fesenjoon is a MUST TRY. Staff is super nice and it’s a very cute spot.
Kashk-e Bademjan is like creamy heaven, Khoresh-e Fesenjoon bursts with flavor, and the Ghafghazi Kabob? Just meaty perfection. Wash it all down with a classic Negroni and a tangy Lemon Drop for a seriously awesome foodie adventure!
best fesenjoon in all of new york. the owner is a character everyone should know. the bartender has a great pour as well!
The owner is a golden sheep among the other Atlantic restaurants. Best food on Grand.
Came here for a private event (an amazing baby shower) and the vibes and food were amazing!
Delicious food, great space, wonderful customer service. Excellent space to host an event!
This restaurant is such a hidden gem!! The food is exceptional, very traditional Persian food. It's a family owned business and they are the sweetest, most interesting people. They make you feel at home.
Last night, my friends and I went to an Persian Iranian restaurant, and I had the chance to savor some amazing dishes like Fesenjan and Kabab koobideh , paired with Saffron Martini and Doogh. The flavors were absolutely incredible, and I highly recommend trying them—you’ll love the experience as much as I did!
Delicious, authentic Persian food. Beautiful traditional decor and Persian music playing while you eat. Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a true Persian experience.
I had a very fun night with friends enjoying the fantastic food. The appetizers were delish, and the mains were super flavorful- it felt like very authentic Persian comfort food. The place felt very cozy and staff was attentive, friendly, and took great care of all of us without any rush. Will definitely return soon!
Highly recommend Brooklyn noosh, it's underratedly some of the best Iranian food in NYC! Even though I've lived here for 6 years this past year is the first time I've heard of it, and I wish I was introduced earlier. The fesenjoon, ghormeh sabzi, lamb shank, kufteh ghelgheli... is all AMAZING. But you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu! The decor and atmosphere is beautiful too. Agha Bezhad and Farzaneh khanum are both kind and warm. Everyone I bring there feels at so home- Noosh is a gem of a place where all are welcome ♥️♥️
Didn’t try the food but came in for drinks one night. The bartender told the best jokes and made my friend and I a drink out of saffron syrup he had made. So delish. The owner seemed pretty chill too. Looking forward to trying the food in the future!
A great place for a late-night meal! The Chicken Kabobs are tender and flavorful, and the Negroni adds a nice touch. The atmosphere is laid-back, perfect for a relaxed evening.
Food is fantastic, the most authentic Persian food I have ever had. The owner was so cool, it was great to converse with him. The bartender/server is also very welcoming. Will definitely be coming back soon.
LOVE Brooklyn Noosh! the food is delicious and the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. the khoresht-e fesenjoon & koobideh kabab are my favorites. look forward to many more meals here
Fesnjoon is amazing, the guy in front makes you feel at home. My friend got the lamb shank and they loved it so much - staff is amazing and friendly! Very humble and friendly atmosphere
Delicious delicious food and lovely gracious service. Have been here for a meal and also went to a party here and it's a wonderful and fun space to host events. Definetly will be back soon!
We tried the khoresh fasenjoon and the kofteh ghelgheli (meatballs) - they were both excellent but the khoresh fasenjun is the best I’ve had in the city! The vibe of this owner-run establishment is very homely, and you feel like you’re at a Persian family’s home. Can’t recommend Brooklyn Noosh highly enough
The Ghormeh Sabzi, made with a perfect blend of fresh herbs and slow-cooked meat, offers an authentic Persian dining experience. The warm and inviting ambiance adds to the charm. For a true taste of Persian cuisine.
I went here as part of a work dinner before entering our Winter Break. One of our coworkers, Theo, also happens to work at Brooklyn Noosh. We were invited by Theo for a wonderful experience here. We were welcomed by the owner, the owners wife, and Theo. They showed us around the dojo where karate classes took place, and informed us of some of the most classic meals on the menu. I went for the Koufteh Ghelgheli with a Rosemary Lemonade. The Koufteh was absolutely delicious, it reminded me of a homemade Matzah Ball soup with vegetables and some Mediterranean/Middle Eastern inspired flavors. My coworkers ordered some lovely appetizers such as the Eggplant Caviar, which was so rich in flavor and smooth in texture. I love eggplants, and the way they designed this dish was just out of this world. It was something I never tasted before, in the best of ways. They also ordered hummus with these special bread sticks, the combination of these elements made for a satisfying entree, I could’ve gotten full off of the appetizers alone! Not to mention, their fries are very appealing and reminiscent of my childhood favorites and this is coming from someone who has been exposed to Israeli cuisine all her life. All this time, Theo and the owners wife were so kind to us. The customer service was outstanding, as they continuously attended to our requests, brought us refills, and recommended additional meals or drinks that they thought would be complementary to our meals. On another note, the night we went to Brooklyn Noosh just so happened to fall on my birthday. I didn’t think anyone would remember that, that was until, Theo and my coworkers surprised me, and I was brought a ginormous red velvet cake. I love red velvet, and this place really hit the nail on the head. The cake was moist enough, creamy, and thick. The most perfect version of red velvet cake you could ever ask for! Afterwards, I ordered some Persian Pistachio ice cream. I’ve never tasted pistachio in this way, so I was quite surprised when I was brought an ice cream that had no remnants of the concepts of Pistachio. But, as I bit into it, I could taste the nuts throughout the ice cream. I absolutely loved the fact that there was a cherry on top. The dessert ended up being a hit, even though the look was unfamiliar. Overall, I had an incredible time over at Brooklyn Noosh. The staff was beyond accommodating, the atmosphere was very sensual and homey with the dark lit room and small candles by the table accompanied with melodious Persian music, and most of all, the meals were close to perfect. Thank you Brooklyn Noosh for this great evening and for making my birthday a night to remember. Would definitely recommend!
had a great time at Brooklyn Noosh! the food was amazing, got to try Persian food for the first time. So glad there are vegan/vegetarian options too. Also the environment is really classy and cozy :) will visit again fs
Amazing food! Unique and delicious. Will definitely go back to eat over and over again
Finally some DELISH authentic Persian food 👌 the fesenjoon is the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Service could’ve been more attentive.
I arrived a bit early, but it was definitely worth the wait. I was greeted warmly by the owners as they sat me at a table and had a nice chat. They explained the menu and showed me around the restaurant. I ended up ordering numerous dishes so I could try them all and take some home to enjoy. The ghormeh sabzi - omg! The meat was so tender! Even better than my mom makes it! (shhh, don't tell her) Fesenjoon was delicious, sweet, tart, cooked to perfection. The kebab was good too, as well as the ice cream! Got some kashkeh bademjoon, and adasi soup too. Will report back!
stumbled upon this sweet Persian spot in Brooklyn and left with a full heart and belly. we ordered the fesenjoon and the koobideh kebab. the fesenjoon was rich and comforting, the koobideh perfectly juicy. we even took some leftovers home for lunch the next day because we wanted to savour every moment. the owner was so kind—when I tried speaking in my very broken farsi, she smiled, helped me along, and made me feel right at home. such a warm, cozy, wholesome place. can't wait to go back!
They hosted my sister’s baby shower, so nice amazing food amazing space ❤️❤️❤️
Had a lovely experience at Noosh. The lamb shank was extremely tender and the curry was subtle but bursting with flavor!
A cozy atmosphere and delicious food. We ordered Fesenjoon and Koobideh Kabob. The kabob was good, the fesenjoon was amazing! The interior had beautiful Persian-style details. I enjoyed their selection of Persian music playing in the background. The beautiful design of the placemats was also a lovely touch :) Update: Their new cocktail, Anar nana, which is made with pomegranate molasses and mint is sooo good!
Such a lovely dinner! Food made my mouth water and had so much flavor. I had the hummus and chicken, both fantastic. Highlight was when the team brought me out a sample of the fesenjoon at the end of the meal because they wanted me to try it and I’d been torn at the start of the meal. Absolutely worth it. Very cozy, will certainly be back!
The food was delicious!!! Best Persian food in Brooklyn. The atmosphere was cozy. I can't wait to go back!
I love Persian food and this place scratches the itch. Very relaxed atmosphere and the back patio was wonderful. The fesenjoon was amazing!
Chicken kebabs were some of the best I've ever had! So juicy and fresh. The couple who own the place is very sweet.

From the dining room setup to the menu offerings, everything worked. The head of staff combines responsibility with approachability. They provide reliable quality alongside friendly service. I love everything I have ordered there. Brooklyn Noosh - Persian / Iranian Restaurant | Diner maintains its high performance.
Incredible establishment. Sick ass dojo. Great, kind, and badass owner. Top notch food. Bartenders make tasty drinks. Can't recommend more. 11/10
Delicious food and gracious staff! Came for a baby shower, but will come again and get the eggplant dish 😋
Went to the kebab party. The owner is amazing. Try the stews! Exactly what you need on a cold day
amazing place, best iranian food in the city. Huge portions, all amazingly cooked.
What a hidden gem! We enjoyed our recent meal here, after having cravings for Persian food. We ordered the classics: fesenjoon and gormeh sabzi, and they were both excellent. We’ll definitely return!
Hands down the best Persian restaurant in NYC. Forget Sofreh, you want real Persian food? Come to noosh. It’s a mom and pop shop with an amazing outdoor space, specialty cocktails and best part? Normal prices. Their Fasanjoon is out of this world. Literally the best I’ve had. Their sabzi is incredible, the Shiraz salad is as good as it gets with the freshest veggies and the koobideh kebab is amazing. What are you doing with your life if you haven’t been here?
Brooklyn Noosh - Persian / Iranian Restaurant | Diner stands out from others. I stumbled across this pleasant spot on Yelp. Everything is delicious. From my initial visit, the people at Brooklyn Noosh - Persian / Iranian Restaurant | Diner recognize me and stay alert to my needs. I think this place is superb!
Amazing service, food and drinks! Excellently fast. The atmosphere is lovely. This place is family owned so definitely come out and support! Highly recommend the chicken kebab:) also, chat up the owner, he is the coolest!!
This place is an absolute gem!! The best Iranian food I’ve had, not just in Brooklyn but in all of New York! The kindness of the staff, along with the warm environment creates the best dining atmosphere. My server, Omeed, took his time to explain the menu and offer me recommendations. 5 star service. My favorite dishes were the Lamb Shank, Koobideh Kabab, and Salad Shirazi, but you can’t go wrong with anything. Their new Anar Nana cocktail, which is a pomegranate and mint drink, is delicious. This restaurant is one of my favorites and a must try!
Delicious food and friendly service. I got their special which is the pomegranate walnut chicken dish which is to die for. Very nice atmosphere too with a comfortable corner table with cushions.
Excellent quality. Their culinary skill and staff attention warrant perfect scores. The team members are kind folks who assist customers. The workers notice when you need guidance with the menu. Make sure you visit this spot soon.

Koufteh is terrific - flavorful, moist, in a nice sauce with veggies. Generous portions. Friendly place with a nice vibe. Were doing some work out back but seemed temporary
The food here was good but to be serving did during covid they certainly aren't prepared. There is watered down soap and no paper towels in the restroom. I brought this to the managers attention and he didn't seem to really care. Great location, nice back yard but must need better management.
Cute candlelit interior and good service. The food was a little too sweet and sour for us, we liked it but didn’t love it. I had the Khoresh-e Fesenjoon and a hummus (which was great)

We waited an hour for our food and ended up having to take it to-go. The food was fine. My friend got the lamb shank which was too salty. The koobideh kabab and eggplant dip were tasty.
The koobideh was too salty, rice was clumpy and the kashk bademjam (eggplant dip) didn’t really taste like it even had eggplant in it. Was really excited to try NY Persian food and took a 30 min metro to be thoroughly disappointed. The saffron martini was pretty good though!

Walked in this establishment, we were the only two people in there.l wanted to leave because the host was not welcoming we literally got our menus thrown at us..he looked irritated or aggravated that we even walked in. The food was HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!..we couldn't eat any of it. These other reviews has to be written by family and friends of the establishment Because truthfully this was a terrible experience. Don't do it to yourself.
definitely a no. came here w some iranians, all disappointed by the food. several rats running all over the backyard and climbing the awning and the trees (!!) while we were out there trying to eat. bad fessenjoon. too expensive for small portions. alcoholic drinks were super weak.
Nothing about this restaurant is even remotely relevant to Persian food. It’s literally terrible. The Khoresh-e Fesenjoon, Koobideh Kabab, even the Shirazi salad, is not Shirazi at all. Honestly, it’s an insult to Iranian cuisine. Try Sofreh, or even Ravagh, and you will know what I’m talking about.
The only time I leave reviews is either I am very impressed or overly depressed. Started ordering at 3:30, today is Saturday and they are open at 4. I placed it for delivery for 4:30 but didn’t accept my order so I changed the time to 5 PM. Food came on time but I realized it’s a wrong order. I called them 6 times and no one answered. Awful service.
UPDATE: Owner's response really shines some light...I was told to "Have a nice life." ?? Please see Owners responses to other bad reviews, its pretty crazy. I'm sure it's an ego hit for the owner since it is your "baby", but you may need to clean up some things if you want people to enjoy you guys, and for this place to become an institution (if thats what you are looking for.) Especially with todays economy and local competition. Perhaps you guys are more "take out" focused, and less hospitality focused? To the cook, my apologies if he has a bad back. When you are chilling in the window on your phone, and your bartender is hanging on his phone with nobody in the restaurant on a nice night, these are some signs to be aware of. People use excuses all the time why they are not doing as well as they could be. It's all in plain sight though, guys. Stop getting so offended, not everyone is trying to get a free meal from you. It doesn't take guests very long to decide if they're not interested in being a patron and coming back. Word travels quick here. And regardless if you have your current short-term regulars. The food and experience overall was not impressive. We were expecting Persian food but everything lacked that spice and flavor. The backyard was closed a couple hours early on a beautiful evening, and there was nobody in the restaurant. The cook was sitting on a chair in the kitchen, chilling on his phone. The bartender was nice, but didn't really "sell" the restaurant and know the menu well. He was pretty verbal about not wanting to be there. There was not much of an inviting atmosphere overall. Best thing that we had out of what we ordered, was surprisingly just plain, buffalo wings...Kind of confusing. I'm sure the plain American cheese burger is fine too? The price points are pretty high for the quality of their offerings. Maybe reformat to a traditional burger and wing spot? Hoping the best for their journey though and to see them grow with the community over the next many years!
This is really BAD Persian food. Kabab was probably from 2 days ago. It was hard like stone and smelled bad. I never had such a bad Kabab EVER. Stay away!
