Amazing food with even better customer service! I've been in the city 10 years and have been looking high and low for quality Mexican food, and Cielito Lindo is the real deal! pure heaven

One of the best Mexican places in the neighborhood! It feels and tastes like your mom and pop food... the tamales and empanadas are so yum.

Great Tex-Mex! Everything is flavorful and their hot sauce is good. The chicken tinga quesadilla is a favorite. The cowboy breakfast burrito is awesome and stays warm if you're eating outside in the winter.

Delicious Empenadas and they were only $3! Had the chorizo and the sweet plantain. Both were great and larger than expected. The chicken quesadilla was wonderful (there is a chipotle marinade on the chicken that really stood out). Can't wait to come here for breakfast and try the chilaquiles!

This Is A Late Post.I've Been Very Busy.It Was Happenstance That We Was Coming That Way.And My Friend Saw The Restaurant As She Was Driving.In Traffic, She Was Trying To Snap A Picture Of The Name.As Traffic Started Moving She Decided We Were Going In.THIS WAS THE BEST DECISION. We Ordered Spicy Chicken Tamales Wrapped In Banana Leaves And Tacos. When Were Finished, My Friend Ordered A Half Dozen Fresh Tamales To Go.We Had A Chat With The Guy Who Placed Our Orders.He's Polite And Kind.The Restaurant Has A Very Nice And Friendly Atmosphere. She & I Will Become Regular Customers. I Am Hungry For Their Tamales As I Type This Review...I Recommend Cielito Lindo If You Want Yummy Authentic Mexican Food In Brooklyn.

Fresh delicious Mexican food!! The sweet plantain empanda is my go-to, along with the Adobo chicken burrito. I've had quite a few of their menu items, and I am never disappointed. Everything is always well-seasoned & they give good portions. I always feel welcomed at this restaurant. The staff is friendly.

I really appreciate that they have vegetarian chorizo. The veg cowboy breakfast burrito (sans chipotle mayo for me) was super super flavorful, well balanced with the ingredients and reasonably priced. Would absolutely repeat!

Cielito Lindo Bistro was a Godsend. I had left my hairdresser's late Saturday night and was hungry. They were still open. I went in and ordered Empanadas, (chicken w/ cheese and beef w/cheese). I also ordered a Steak Burrito. I must say that I will travel back to my home borough of BK just to eat from here again. The food was fresh (I had ordered after 11pm). The food was beyond tasty and their portions are great. Keep doing what you're doing. It's no wonder why you're rated #1🔥❤️😍

The menu is extensive and highly customizable, the burritos are substantial and portion sizes are all perfect. Delicious Mexican takeout food at a fair price. CLB is our go-to spot in the neighborhood for Mexican Takeout. Great food, service, and atmosphere…when they’re open. Half the time they do not open on time or when they say on their listed hours which can be very annoying especially when calling in or ordering online. Or walking in to a closed restaurant…: not ideal.

What a good flavored hole in the wall... if you drive a bit fast - you will pass it . Signage is not popping... the guac is a 10 star ... the burritos a++ ... I am somewhat not satisfied for a culture where they grow over 100 types of Chiles and they only serve some mild sauce I tried two and both weak (at lease have the commercial bottles... ) Will return - quaint spot.

I got the chicken enchiladas en salsa verde. All i can say is FINALLY! Enchiladas that have a good sauce to cheese to protein ratio!! The green sauce has a bit of a kick, which was great. Will be back

My first time here and ever hearing of the restaurant. Less than a 10 minute walk from home. The food? Excellent. The lady who took my order? Friendly and courteous. The establishment? Very clean and nicely designed. The prices? Great. What more can one ask for in this hidden gem?

Cielito Lindo has a bit of a Cal- or Tex- vein to its Mex, so head elsewhere if that's not what you want. The empanadas are great (both cheese and vegetarian chorizo), the meats are quite flavorful (preferred the chicken tinga burrito to the steak fajitas), and the portions are quite large for the relatively restrained prices. A great addition to the neighborhood.

This place is legit. A hidden gem on Nostrand Avenue. Visited a couple of times. Great Berria tacos, quesadillas and empanada. Try the sauces and the bottled Mexican Cokes have reg sugar. No corn syrup.

Their food is delicious, if you can get it. Their posted hours are all different, and are not followed. They refuse online service randomly, and never pick up their phone. Along with the fact that if questioned about these problems, they are rude and care little. I am writing this because, I’m tired of being treated poorly when all I want their delicious food. Food is good, chefs are great but the menu is inconsistent. The first time I went the had Great Salad burrito bowls and the following time was no longer available and the presentation was terrible. When asked the "Owner" He was very rude.

Sometimes they're open at 10am, but sometimes I'll get there at noon and they haven't unlocked the door yet. The chicken empanada had almost no actual chicken in it.-tasted all mushy, and was mainly potato. The veg empanada does not taste good - weird texture and flavor. The birria taco is tasty.

Extremely poor customer service. The guy behind the counter was so rude that we left before our food even arrived. I definitely recommend you avoid this place unless you don't mind rude staff and poor service.

I used to like this place. Maybe they have new cooks. The guacamole had big white onions is was soupy like slime. The chips for $2.50 taste like oil drops. My friend ordered abeef taco that looked like kibbles n bits. The only thing that made a star was the little bit of chicken I could taste in my potatoes filled empanada! It's like they just throw the food together and sell it!

Really disappointing, especially since other reviews have been great. Absolutely inedible fish and chips. The fish was extremely oily, the french fries were bland and soggy and the 'house salad' was also soggy and warm. There was no tartar sauce either. If I could get a full refund I would because this was a waste of money.

I’ve ordered from here once before and it was ok. But this time I ordered and half of the order was wrongs then in addition to that the chicken empanadas with potatoes is mostly potatoes and I bit into something hard. Honestly I want to give them another chance but I’m worry nothings going to change.
