Xandra is the best bartender you'll ever have serve you drinks. The bands they have here are usually top tier!
Great spot in a trendy area with great specials and a karaoke room! Small pool table too.
Friendly spot to play pool with a bunch of strangers and have a good beer!
I only go on Sundays when the best bartender around is there. Love her ❤️
A great place to relax and play pool but there is a review about a door man don't listen to it because there is no door man at the cobra club
Best Bar in the neighborhood with an incredible staff.
It is exactly what you expect when you walk in before getting confused by the area :)
11/10 incredible vibes. Even better staff. They gave us a free shot 💕
Coffee shop in the day, fun dive bar at night. The best people in the whole world work at Cobra Club.
The coolest bar in Bushwick. Great staff and good beers. Try the happy hour!
One of the best bars in the area, and surprisingly a bit of a hidden day-time gem
Great drink specials, pool table Big Buck Hunter, kareoke AND an espresso machine. What more could you ask for?
Great rnr bar. Great atmosphere and dj. The beer selection is average.
Always have a good time there and meet cool people(artist, musicians, journalists, actors, etc...)
One of my favorite places to hang and catch up with folks from the neighborhood. Great, kind staff and wonderful regulars. There are classes for kids in the back and a real sense of community throughout the day.
Chicana Performing Artist and Bushwick local, I gotta say Cobra Club is about the community and safer spaces. They are a family that extends through Brooklyn in and out the Industry and are dope MF humans. I’ve been performing here for almost a decade and this has always been my safe space to creative and to cut loose. We need more Cobra Clubs in the world!
The ABC's of bars: A Bar, B Side, and Cobra Club. Cobra Club reminds me of some of my favorite spots in SF only without having to jump on a plane for cheap beer and whiskey combos. They used to open early and close late and my (now) wife and I found ourselves here so often we brought our wedding party here for drinks. Never feel out of place whether I'm in shorts or a tuxedo. They even helped me propose.
Good drinks. Good vibes. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. When I was there, there was two tones--morning with coffee and donuts. Evenings with cocktails and activities.
Great vibe! Easy place to strike up a conversation. I've never had the food but it looks fun.
Great bar with chill patrons and pretty cool staff. As close as you'll find to a dive around here, especially with their happy hour.
Metal yoga on Sundays! The bar tenders are all great people, really relaxed. Patrons can be a bit weird, but that's Bushwick for ya.
Love the vibes and atmosphere at this grungy feeling social bar. The drinks and staff here are great and it's easy to feel comfortable sitting here for hours.
Cheap drinks that hit and such a vibe! Love the free comedy shows Friday nights and free karaoke nights
Pretty fun little bar! I enjoyed the show here, sound system is nice and loud. Overall a fun bar.
Love a good local dive, apparently there's also yoga downstairs?! Happy hour is solid
Pretty decent bar average price not too expensive. Got a good vibe to it
Loving this place I finally get to get away from it all and just chill. Smoke my cigar watch a comedy show on Friday wit great comics and throw back a few.
Great vibes and beers. Plus, the morgue is a must visit!
I can't say enough good about this place! I stopped in one night and left my bag of souvenirs behind. I contacted the club via email and they saved my bag with all of it's contents! This never happens in NY They've renewed my faith in humanity
Awesome comedy show on Friday and karaoke afterwards! Great beer, prices aren’t bad. Awesome Bushwick bar!
Went there for a Sing Along with my baby boy was fantastic. Very clean, smells great and Carl was great
Bartender was bae. Not very crowded when I went in. Nice chill crowd. There was a pool table in the corner if you're into that thing.
It's actually pretty impressive how terrible the comedy shows are here, I'll be back for sure!
what can I say. I love this bar, truly one of my favorite dives. karaoke 11pm-3am Friday and Saturday, it's free but tip the DJ to get on earlier usually. it's busy but honestly I've never waited long for a drink
Happy hour has the best atmosphere, plus the prices are great. Come ~10pm it gets pretty packed but I'm a self proclaimed old man and don't like dealing with that crowd. But if YOU do, then this place rocks. Karaoke on Fridays is always a jam.
This spot was awesome. Nice little outdoor area, pool table, good drinks and they had a comedy show in the back, in the stage area. That whole area does not seem like Brooklyn at all. Food trucks everywhere, mad people in the streets all night, Manhattan vibe. Definitely recommend
BEST BAR IN BUSHWICK!!!!!! best bar in brooklyn and best bar in the world tbh. this place has been my go-to since i moved here 9 years ago and I am constantly having a good time. They have events almost every night. I just spent the last year coming here for bingo and it was amazing. I cannot recommend this bar enough!
I went to a show here and had a great time :) nice drink selection and amazing bartenders
Been coming here for years , Simpsons on the projector on sunday nights , tiny little backyard for smoking , large back room when they have shows and yoga and stuff. Coffee during the day what's not to love Update *** I've kept on coming here it's been over 10 years and it's still as good as ever. Best local bar there is ! Rip uncle Larry
These people at this bar saved my life, I lost my passport when I was there one night and once I realized and went back, they said "lost passport?". They already knew, these are solid people and I couldn't recommend them more. This is one of the greatest bars ever, I go every weekend!
Great neighborhood bar in Bushwick. The staff is super friendly. Good prices, even better people. A place where you can meet friends or come solo and are comfortable. I’ll definitely be back.
A perfect dive. Went in on a slow Tuesday and Tonya was working. She saved us a couple bucks but suggesting their beer and shot special, was killer to chat with. Outdoor smoking patio as well which was cool.
I have only visited this establishment once, so far, to attend a Birthday celebration. However, in spite of the fact that I rarely visit bars or pubs, this is one of the few I AM willing to visit again. The staff was very professional, the food and drink offerings were delicious and, most importantly of all, the music was loud enough to hear AND soft enough to hear one talking. All in all, I genuinely look forward to returning to The Cobra Club, as soon as I can.
Just love how easy is to have a drink in here.
One of my favorite morning spots when I'm in a people watching mood. This is where you can watch party people still going from the night before mingling with people in a rush to get to work while a child sing along is in full swing in the back... Love it
The best old school dive in Bushwick. Low key with cheap drinks and a lively crowd. Best bartenders and bar food. Check it out while you're waiting for an event at House of Yes. #LGBTQ friendly.
No frills dive-priced watering hole drawing a leather and black clad crowd happy to shout over the metal and punk usually on tap. During the day it doubles as a laid back neighborhood spot.
Great bar great bartender. There's a pool table. And hey if you're lucky you can catch the Party City comedy night Check the Cobra Club or the Party City IG page for dates. It happens every other week beginning February 18th 2025
The bartenders have always been pretty chill. Last time I was there, had a pleasant conversation with the afternoon bartender. Haven't really gotten any food, but the atmosphere is what makes the place. The venue is the back has decent sound. Recommend.
First time here and definitely willing to come back, bartenders are really chill and the atmosphere is really nice. Good spot to bring friends and colleagues to after work or if you just need a spot to hangout.
Cute little (dive??) bar for a quick drink. We came in for a little comedy show and the space was endearing, open for pool and hanging, and otherwise just fun. Will go back!
Chris, our sound tech was awesome during our ECLECTIC ELECTRONIC live music event. So knowledgeable and accommodating with a guest attitude!
Wow, what a show! I came to the Live From Outer Space Comedy show on Friday and it was a hit! The performances were absolutely hilarious. And the audience was funny too. The comedians covered a variety of topics - there were at least three 9/11 jokes, a great poly joke and even singing. Plus all diverse is style of comedy and world view. They were all charming in their own ways and they managed to touch on some sensitive subjects with grace and humor, making everyone in the audience laugh at the horrible parts of the world and not at the expense of others. The host - John and his co hosts really do a great job picking the line up, makes sense they're the longest running show in bushwick!
I'm giving the bar itself 5 stars because it's legendary and great and I hope it lasts forever (plus I don't like bringing down a venue's rating for something they just host). The sound system in the back is fantastic. But the karaoke hosts (who run basically every karaoke in the neighborhood)...hm. I couldn't hear a word the female host was saying whenever she was on stage. And the way they run the show seems to be to put up the songs in order no matter what, so a bunch of regulars showed up super early and put in seemingly unlimited requests (also seemed to know the hosts so probably got priority) and then we all had to watch them each sing multiple times (I mean like 2-4 times while other people were still waiting to sing once-- they had great voices but there was a LOT of Lady Gaga). Most of our songs didn't come on for hours...the room almost totally emptied out and people were still waiting. Just doesn't seem like a great system? They also tell you you get bumped up by one slot for every dollar you tip which did not seem to be true...I wouldn't expect that to be the case and I'd tip anyway, but they did say it and then they didn't seem to be clocking which tip went with which song/person (and that just seems like it would make the system even more unfair). One super drunk/high person also tried to steal the mic and wouldn't leave the stage during my friend's performance -- it was physically uncomfortable to the point where my friend had to ask them to back off and towards the end just gave them the mic and fled the stage, and no one from the karaoke team stepped in to help or try to get the bouncer.
So glad this place is still here!!! Neighborhood-ey club been here for over a decade and a cute pit stop on the way to the Jefferson L for hot coffee and a muffin. The barista/bartender Margot was a talented painter and a lovely person. Metal yogi gal is legendary too. Actually made buddies here not fake friends
Cool place. Came for the fun gutter event. The band this week was great! Good variety of comedians. The event was definitely something I would come back to. I’m glad they had a great selection of non alcoholic drinks at the bar :)
$8 beer and shot special everyday, little beer garden, always something going on depending on what day you go(follow them on ig). Pool table and big game hunter arcade. They also have some board games you can play with your homies. Workers are awesome and so is the service. -Love you Tania!!!
Want to day drink? Do it at Cobra Club, where you'll get zero snarky comments about how it's 7 a.m. and why are you still out, and obviously in Friday night's clothes? I do wish they started karaoke a bit earlier, but only because I could karaoke all night, but I'm not so into open mic.
Went to a child's Birthday party things went well in the back room. Of course stopped at the bar afterwards and the service and drinks were made just right.😁
Diverse crowd with an edge.. Good punk/alternative music.. pool table!! Fun bar!!!!
Love it here ... the bartenders was so nice but they probably think I’m crazy 😂😂😂 I was kind of tipsy and I thought I gave the male bartender a $20 lol and when he gave me my change I was like where is the rest??? He then looked at me like I was going crazy and said I gave him a $10 bill which then I realized I did. 😂😂😂 karaoke was fun!!! Will be going back!!! Please don’t think I’m crazy because I’m not lol
Really quiet place, they also sell coffee and donuts. Happy hour specials are decent and they have an outdoor area. Very dog friendly and hip crowd.
Minor Threat on the jukebox so let's go
Decent prices, very very small old cafe in Brklyn, although it's considered Manhattan. Can only fit maybe 15 people and the menu is limited.
Nice little bar, very friendly with added bonus ofHoegaarden on tap and a pool table
Decent place, great location! Good for live music. The drinks and prices are good for Bushwick. It's a type of place you could meet a friend and have a drink before going out that night. Or just chill there! You will meet cool locals for sure!
Met up here with friends who did metal yoga in the back room of the bar (they loved it), also heard about it through friends who karaoke there sometimes. Great variety of beers on tap, large screen on the side that plays old movies (when we were there it was the fifth Element), Frito pie seems to be a specialty. The space is pretty dark and on the simple side (not a lot of character or design) but music selection was pretty chill (mostly rock) and staff were nice.
Nice dive bar that is reminiscent of a biker bar, but for hipsters. Music is predominantly rock music, which is to my taste, and crowd tends to be young. Drinks are moderately priced and the venue has a few fun stuff such as a shooting arcade machine and a pool table. Though it looks small at first-time glance don't be fooled. There is an outdoor section that is immediately visible once you enter, but also a large room in the back that is often used for live music, karaoke, or other events. The bartenders seemed friendly and nice. I recommend checking out the Cobra Club if you're looking for a cool dive bar type of place.
Great staff, reasonable prices. Smoking area if wanted. Karaoke is available in the back and has great areas to just party. Can get cramped, but overall a very good place to get a drink and chill
Cobra club is a pretty cool spot. It's always crowded with young people, their drinks aren't bad for the price, and the place has bar games like a pool table. On certain nights they have live music in the dedicated stage venue in the back. Overall it's not a bad spot, nothing special, but definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a good time in the area.
I love their hours of operation. It's a great place to grab a coffee in the mornings and you boose it up the rest of the day as well. Apparently, they have live bands at night but I've never been there that late in the evenings.
Layout/atmosphere *Bar (16 seats); window counter; three high tables; pool table; Big Buck Hunter arcade game; old fashioned cash register; punk/graffiti bathroom walls; karaoke Fridays/Saturdays; little alley area; tables on sidewalk; outdoor structure in street Food/drink *Bar snacks (Chips; frito pie) *Complimentary water jug
Security can be great or a little meh depending on the night. Great bar during the weekday, but a little too overcrowded on the weekend like most other places in that area.
Cool spot with a pool table, and a back room where there is sometimes karaoke. There's also a small cute outdoor area for smokers
You simply cannot beat the jukebox selection or the roster of up and coming performers. Caffeine addicts we warned, the delicious coffee which they are known for is not served in the evenings. What is available you ask? A decent selection of craft beer and their signature cocktails, which are all named after misfits songs.
Went there for a Cosmo. It wasn’t that great. The vibe was nice though. I’d definitely return again with friends for something else. Hip area
Smelled really bad the last time I walked in here but the pool table and performance space in the back are the wins. You can come here but bring a nose plug.
Chill bartenders, but I prefer my dive bars to have more old man vibes. I think this would be a good place to either start or end your night.
Bought tickets for the comedy show and was a big disappointed. They delayed the show by over 35+ min and the show itself is supposed to be 2 hours long which is irritating tbh bc when I paid for the tickets online they were 7$ and in person 5$. Not the end of the world but put me off a bit. The front area was packed full but the actual comedy show only had a few ppl who were definitely either high or regulars. Only 2 out of maybe 7 or so comedic were actually somewhat funny. Not worth the two trains and 7$ (however cheap it was) to be there. Everyone was friendly for sure and it definitely is a popular place, this is just my two cents.
Nope! I came here after a really stressful mammogram and was literally manhandled when I couldn’t produce my ID fast enough. Stay away!!
I like this bar but the bartender on a Monday night is so rude.
Karaoke isn’t worth your time. Girls in the booth run this poorly. Better off spending your time and money else where. Rude and disagreeable.
Utterly disrespectful service from the barmaid. Poorest visit in NYC. I would never recommend this place to no one. Coolest security guy tho.
Used to be a cool spot to get a drink because the great bartenders that they had. Not anymore since they got new arrogant ones
I tried to come here but came too late as the bar was closing. I was sympathetic to that and completely understood I was not going to be able to do karaoke or get a drink and expressed that to the bouncer and all I wanted was some time to figure out my next move. I was not drunk or in any way disrespectful to the door person. Instead of allowing me and my friends to request an Uber inside and wait for them, while it was blizzarding, the bouncer was extremely rude and pushy and would not allow us to wait a measly 10 minutes inside while more than 50 patrons were already there to wait for our ride. I understood that we could not stay there for service and communicated that to him clearly. I just wanted to take shelter from the extreme weather. He was the furthest thing from sympathetic. The bouncer should be fired.
Great bar but the security guy is truly the rudest, mean-spirited nasty person I’ve ever met. Awful welcome and a terrible goodbye. Not worth the hassle going here to get through him. A shame.
A long-haired barman treated me really badly because he wanted more tips. I'm not from the US and this was my first time there. He screamed at me and said I could never come back there again. Definitely not recommended.
Karaoke organisers were so rude. No wonder it was empty on a Saturday night.
Friday night bartender was rude & unprofessional. Took me forever to get a drink while he was not busy, just hanging with his friends, doing shots, walking past me to go on his phone, then kept taking new walk ins, i put my hand up, he looked at me & said ill be right with you then he again took a new walk in. I finally spoke up and said excuse me I've been waiting. Then he had attitude with me, charged me incorrectly, and made my cocktail wrong.
This venue did a disservice to a band I was supporting. The band I was paying for was suppose to start at 7pm but got pushed back to 10pm due to double booking and they allowed the 2nd to last band to play over their time slot causing a petty delay. On top of that they made an alternative poster cutting out the name of the band I was supporting. Further more, a manager yelled at the 2nd to last band for playing over the time slot, causing the crowd to walk out which made a bad turn out for the closing band. After the crowd walking out, the staff took the cash box an left the entrance unattended, adding to the bad turn out of the night. The supporters and I will not be coming back to this venue.
