Fantastic deli with delicious Mexican food!!! Service is superb and friendly. Delivery is always great. I recommend.
I got an egg and cheese on a roll with lettuce tomato mayo and ketchup. It’s my favorite way to eat it. They didn’t bat an eye. Made it beautifully. The bread was toasted. My cheese was melty. All ratios were good. Made it within ten minutes even though they were busy. I’m very happy. Best egg and cheese in the area. I also got a very nice beet juice which they made fresh.
MÉXICO 🇲🇽 Eat the World NYC review: Two years ago this address was a windowless bookstore selling Spanish-language Christian texts, the facade of the small building completely covered in maroon paint. Now under a bright yellow awning, big windows let light into a space that since the end of 2017 has been churning out good Mexican food, with a focus on tortas, and has a space for customers to sit and eat. ° They are open early for breakfast and offer plenty of US and Mexican egg-based plates as well as an enormous chilaquiles, served at my request with salsa verde and two big slabs of cecina. Two fried eggs and a few slices of avocado top everything and it is served with a side of beans. It took a great effort to finish the whole thing. ° As noted in the name, they make excellent tortas here, Mexican sandwiches served on not quite round crusty bread called bolillo. This bread is good here, delivered fresh daily I presume from somewhere nearby. On weekends, get freshly prepared carnitas and delicious tamales.

I've ordered the shrimp tacos and cárnitas tacos and they're delicious. They add other ingredients on top of the tacos that are worth trying.

La comida estuvo muy rica,tienen buenos platillos ,mas que nada tipo antojitos. Y ademas tienen lugar para comer dentro apesar de ser pequeño el lugar,pero si es muy recomendable.

I used to order from this deli regularly. I initially started doing so to support small businesses. It’s not really a full restaurant, but I liked a few of their dishes. That said, I do want to point out that the tables are usually dirty, and the bathroom is extremely small—which isn’t a problem by itself, but the lack of cleanliness definitely is. I was a loyal customer. Every week I’d order for two, spending at least $40–$50. The problem started one time when I was sick. I live on the third floor, and I always asked them to include the tip in the total since I paid with a debit card. That day, the delivery guy called me and said, “Come down to get your food.” I explained that I couldn’t go downstairs and asked him to please bring it up. He said he doesn’t go up to apartments. I ended up going down, very upset, and mentioned it to the owner. A few weeks later, I ordered again. Another thing that always made me uncomfortable was that when I paid over the phone, they would ask for all my card information, including the 3-digit security code—which isn’t really necessary. I own a restaurant myself, so I know how this works. Still, I went along with it because I genuinely liked their carne asada nachos. That day, I was fixing a pipe under my sink when the delivery guy called again telling me to come downstairs. I told him, “Hey, I’m tipping you—please bring it up.” He refused, saying he had other deliveries to make. I went downstairs, and it turned out to be a kid, probably around 16 years old. I asked him why they offer delivery if they’re not willing to actually deliver to your door. He just repeated that he couldn’t do it. At that point, I was extremely frustrated and lost my temper. As a business owner, I truly believe you need to be careful about who you hire—because this is exactly how you lose loyal customers. I don’t recommend this place.
