Very down to earth, honest, local bagel shop with lots more food options. I loved the hot toasted bagel with cream cheese for breakfast, washed down with a large coffee.

Fast, great service and good food. What’s not to like? Spent about $10 on a bacon/egg/cheese sandwich roll (served cut in half), small coffee, bottled apple juice and orange juice. Small service fee for using credit cards or tap to pay—cash receives discounts.

Absolutely delicious breakfast sandwiches! The shop was small but there was space inside for us to sit and eat after ordering off the large menu. The service was also awesome. Highly recommend!

I don’t live anywhere near here but whenever I am around, I stop in and have a bite here at SHM Bagel & Coffee Shop. What I like most about it, is the food. I feel like my mom, dad or one of my Aunties made it and I feel like I’m with them chillin’ and eating. It brings back memories. Besides that, the owner is kind and friendly and so are the workers. This place is clean and smells clean, to me. Outside, there is no real fanfare but I like that because once inside, you have some chairs, a few tables and two stool window seat options. However, there is a long radiator there so, if you sit turned a bit to the side, things will work out for you eating over there. They have a nice assortment of food and cold beverage options. Again and most importantly, the place appears to be clean so, I feel confident eating here. Great job and thank you, SHM B&CS! See you next time.

I order a Philly cheesesteak in a wrap with onion rings. Place was clean and food was made quick. The wrap was good but it wasn’t the greatest (I wasn’t expecting the greatest). The onion rings were actually really good. This place gets a five star for having a good clean, standard Brooklyn joint, in area fill with mechanical shops.

Ever since the old owners left I can’t seem to like this place. They are extremely overpriced for that they serve. Last time I ordered a BLT, with well done bacon on an everything bagel. The entire sandwich was burnt, the bacon the bread, I couldn’t even eat it. The guy at the front was helpful and said I could come back and get a new sandwich. I picked up the sandwich a few days later, it wasn’t too bad, but not satisfying. I went today to spend 7 dollars on another BLT, to basically eat tomatoes lettuce and bread. Bacon is the main component on a BLT and instead I get three to four thin slices of bacon? For seven dollars? I couldn’t even taste bacon. It’s unfortunate because this place is so close to me. I wouldn’t mind paying the money if the sandwich was actually put together nicely. Not worth it in my opinion.
