Legendary for a reason! Delicious chicken, sides & empanadas. Generous portions & affordable. Gotta have the green sauce!
THE RIBS 😍😍😍😍😍 Literally so so good, even when you heat it for leftovers the next day!!! The rice, chicken + green sauce is all 10/10 - perfection. So affordable, friendly staff and service is fast! Mashed potato seems to be popular so I’ll have to try that next!
Please get halal chicken. I would love to try it.
I swear they put crack in those ribs. And the sides are really good too! Give good sized portions and usually have enough for a second meal the next day.
Best rotisserie chicken within 5 miles! You have to try the green sauce if you’re able to handle a bit of spice. All the food is amazing and tastes well seasoned throughout the experience! Indoor seating is very cozy and service is wonderful!
Hands down one of our favorite places to eat. The food is consistently fantastic, and the service is just as good — you can tell everyone agrees because this place is always moving smoothly and efficiently. We’ve made it a Sunday tradition to come here, and we always order the whole chicken, maduros and rice and beans. The chicken is incredibly flavorful, the maduro is sweet, fresh, and perfectly moist every single time. The rice is soft, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The salads are also excellent — fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. They’re fast, organized, and get your food together quickly without sacrificing quality. On top of that, the people working there are wonderful — friendly, efficient, and clearly take pride in what they do. Overall, Inka Chicken is a fantastic spot with amazing food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. We keep coming back for a reason, and we’ll definitely continue our weekly tradition. Highly recommend!
I got a half chicken platter with plantains and rice. Not pictured are two empanadas (beef and chicken) that i also got to try. I loveddd the chicken and the sides. Their green sauce is amazing too. The empanadas were good but a little too greasy for me. I would definitely go back for the chicken and rice. Prices were also unbeatable in the area.
Inca Chicken delivered an exceptional dining experience that exceeded every expectation. I ordered the Half Chicken Combo with mac n’ cheese, mashed potatoes, and corn, and the moment the plate arrived, it was clear that this is a restaurant that values both quality and generosity. The portions were abundant, beautifully arranged, and fully seasoned no shortcuts, no bland bites. The highlight was undoubtedly the Peruvian rotisserie chicken (pollo a la brasa). This dish, a national treasure of Peru since the mid-20th century, is traditionally marinated with a blend of garlic, cumin, black pepper, vinegar, soy sauce, and occasionally ají panca. Inca Chicken honors that heritage with remarkable precision. The meat was exceptionally moist, deeply seasoned, and flavorful all the way through. The skin had that signature Peruvian balance of smokiness, savoriness, and subtle spice. My boyfriend and I both agreed: it’s easily some of the best, juiciest rotisserie chicken we’ve had in the area. The sides were equally impressive. The mashed potatoes were velvety, buttery, and well-seasoned genuinely some of the best around. The mac n’ cheese provided a rich, comforting contrast, while the corn offered a simple sweetness that rounded out the plate. Of course, no Peruvian meal is complete without ají verde, and Inca Chicken’s version deserves special mention. Their green sauce is vibrant, creamy, and balanced with just the right amount of heat. Made from cilantro, peppers, garlic, lime, and a touch of dairy for body, ají verde is the soul of pollo a la brasa and theirs is absolutely outstanding. It elevated every bite. While dining, I couldn’t help noticing the other dishes coming out of the kitchen the chorizo, ribs, and various grilled meats all looked phenomenal. We’re already planning a return visit specifically to explore more of the menu. Inca Chicken delivers not only excellent food but also a true appreciation for Peruvian culinary tradition. Flavorful, generous, and consistently well-executed this is a place I’ll be returning to again and again.
i live an hour away but got the half chicken combo w/mac n cheese and mashed potatoes, plus an extra side salad to-go and it was soooo delicious 🙌🏼🙌🏼 the plate was packed full and everything was seasoned perfectly– the chicken was juicy and so tasty!! one of the best mashed potatoes i've had. thank you to the staff who were super nice and welcoming, will definitely be back soon!
Order delivery from here about 2x a month. It’s top notch flavorful rotisserie chicken and the veggies are fresh! Best green sauce around. Way better than other chicken spots around town (cough, super pollo). Love this place.
Inca Chicken is truly a neighborhood gem. I have fond memories of this restaurant, especially after it tragically burned down when I was a child. When it reopened years later, it was a moment of pure joy for the community. The food is exceptional, with the chicken being particularly outstanding. I highly recommend pairing it with their signature green sauce, which is a must-try. Every dish they serve is flavorful, and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had. The owners are incredibly friendly, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. Without a doubt, I would rate Inca Chicken a 10/10. It’s an establishment that deserves respect, and I can easily see it becoming a successful franchise. The unique flavors they offer are unmatched, making it a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Please open one in New Jersey!
The store didn't look too amazing, but there is always a crowd here, which is honestly a good sign! You cannot get picky all small stuff, when you visit Costa Rica, the setup is exactly the same... So their layout is okay. I had a delicious chicken plater with veggies and fried plantain. It was really tasty and fresh. The guys who work here are friendly as well, delivering great customer service. This includes a warm inviting place to eat. Next time I visit, I want to see how breakfast is like. Looking forward to it. FYI: There is a guy that looks Asian, he actually Peruvian... Do not assume it!
Definitely worth going out of your way to come here and try the rotisserie chicken. That said everything I had was really good😋 I had the chicken, rice, sweet plantains, streamed vegetables, and the empanadas are so big and juicy full of flavor, a meal in it self. Enjoyed every bite and had food left to bring home. The service is good and fast. Eat there or bring it home. It's a hole on the wall but in a good way. 👍🏻🥰
Great value for excellent food! Delicious ribs and pernil. Conveniently located near DeKalb station and B13 bus stop. Got two platters to go. Both packed to the brim. Ribs with Mac and cheese and fries. The ribs were flavorful and not dry, not sure what the spice were but it had excellent flavor. And there were 4 big ones!! The mac and cheese was good. The fries were unfortunately soggy. It is to go so I suppose it got limp in the container. The second platter was pernil with rice and lo mein. Some of the pernil was quite dry, like overcooked dry, the other half was fatty and moist. Excellent flavor. For the price the portions and the flavors were on point. The beef empanada was really excellent with their green sauce. It was crispy, filled with juicy beef, and excellent flavor overall. This was the best item overall!! I got a side of sausage and this was also excellent. Nicely grilled and excellent flavors. Online order and pick up was prompt.
Chicken was barely cooked to temp and served lukewarm which was a little concerning. The seasoning on the chicken was a weird slightly sweet American bbq taste which I disliked. Mashed potatoes lacked salt/pepper. Brocolli was simply steamed which is fine by me but I imagine others wouldn’t enjoy it. Overall will pass eating here again.
I ordered yellow rice, chicken milanesa combo with steamed mixed vegetables and Lo-mein it was not as tasty as I thought it’d be. The way the sweet plantain is cooked in it’s entirety makes it dry in the middle would probably taste better if cut in pieces or at least in half. Had a beef empanada couldn’t determine what ingredient exactly made it taste weird there was a lot of different veggies inside I couldn’t eat it really didn’t like it almost seemed like a Shepard’s pie in an empanada crust.
The food is not bad it's pretty okay tasting but if you want that authentic pollo la brasa flavor this is definitely not the place
First and last time ever going there You would think being across the street from the hospital it would be clean and healthy While I was at the concert by the register paying for my food, a roach started walking across the counter, a big roach, full of energy and life Jumped off the top counter to the counter, where the registers and the food was, I pointed the roach out to the worker and he couldn’t catch it. Which means the roach is probably still there now I requested a refund I paid with my cash app card, but they gave me back cash and not the full refund. I look on my Cash app card and they’re still charging it be very careful going to this place because not only are their roaches running around and probably in the food you’re being robbed for your money. I hope this place gets shut down. They are disgusting. They don’t even deserve one star Dirty and thieves, find somewhere else to eat.!!!!!
I used to love this place, I Started eating here almost every day, then Found a black short curly hair in my food, so i Stopped eating here for a year. Decided to give it a try again and everything was going good for a little while, then one day found a giant toe nail about 2 bites in to my food, I was pist!!! I’m Officially done with this place!!!!
