Cinque stelle come minimo!
Esperienza super positiva a pranzo! Servizio attento. Ci tornerò.
Had a wonderful Sunday lunch at Ristorante Santa Teresa. Tutto Bene! It's a delightful environment (the place comprises multiple rooms so there aren't too many people in any one area, and there are several outdoor tables available) and the service was attentive, friendly, and helpful.
We stopped by around 20:00 hoping to get a table and were able to sit outside, in front of the restaurant. We had the fried anchovies, pasta with pesto, Ligurian Sea Bass and Tiramisu along with a bottle of house white wine…. A great experience all the way around. Everything was fresh, nicely prepared and delicious. The wait staff were friendly and helpful - attentive but non intrusive. And the tempo of the meal was perfect for us. I’d happily eat here again!
We discovered the beautiful Santa Teresa in the heart of the historical part of Genoa and absolutely fell in love with this charming little place. The atmosphere is warm, authentic, and full of Italian soul, with such a romantic feeling hidden among the old streets of the city. The food was delicious, fresh, and prepared with so much care, while the service was genuinely kind and welcoming. A perfect spot to enjoy the true spirit of Genoa in a cosy and elegant setting. We will definitely come back again 🌷
Amazing service and fantastic food. Huge servings.
Great find nested a few steps from the historical family home of Christopher Colombus. Food is both traditional and innovative but really, really good. Great service. Very close to a large parking garage.
Excellent, elegant, and refined restaurant with several indoor dining rooms located in the heart of Genoa, near Porta Soprana and Piazza Matteotti. My wife and I sat at a beautifully set indoor table, and were brought a basket with excellent bread and focaccia. We ordered: mandilli al pesto ravioli au tuccu (Genoese ravioli with meat sauce) mixed fried fish sea bass with artichokes lemon sorbet We were very pleased with the excellent quality of the generous dishes and delicious desserts. The staff were welcoming, smiling, competent, professional, friendly, and helpful. The service was attentive and one of the fastest I've ever had, and the prices were fair!
Meals were delicious and everything was clean. I recommend it
We liked the place! Its very nice outside and even better inside. The food was very tasty. Huge wine card
Amazing location with really nice waitress and waiters. The food was amazing and with the recommended wine was such an experience!
We was desperate for food. Everything was full so we went here and... was delicious 😍 Elegant so not the cheapest one, but really nice restaurant.
Absolutely loved it, discrete service, nice local atmosphere and above all delicious food
Amazing fish food, and fast and friendly service.
Very tasty food and wine. Friendly staff

Excellent !
Went there with my family and the food was amazing. Took one bolognese for my 2 kids and it was a very generous portion. The pistachio lemon And Shrimp pasta is really good so is the Carbonara. The servers are really nice!
A very fine seafood restaurant with enough options to satisfy a vegetarian. The mandilla with pesto was silky smooth and simply delicious. An impressively wide-ranging wine list includes some excellent Ligurian selections. Busy on a Monday night so make reservations.
Fresh pasta, amazing seafood, and great local atmosphere make this place a total winner. The fish soup highlighted the mains with a succulent and rich sauce complimenting a very generous portion of fish, clams, mussels and octopus. The tataki was amazingly light and refreshing, and the grilled octopus was executed perfectly. The pastas held their own weight too. We gobbled up the black gnocchi, pesto pasta and the spaghetti eagerly. Despite all that, the chickpea soup with shrimp might have "stole the show" for the appetizers. The only potential minus was the relatively slow service, which bordered on straining our patience. Fortunately for us, the food was worth the wait!
Lovely place. Small and friendly with excellent food. Need to book though.
Excellent plates. Tatami, beef tartar, pasta shrimp carbonara
Food and wine were absolutely gorgeous. Stumbled on this place as we walked round on our first night but would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to taste great Italian food.
Excellent every time My favorite weekend lunch place and dinners are wonderful too
Amazing restaurant, especially the spaghetti with mullet roe, the staffs are super friendly and nice, they gave us the best advice for our stay in Genoa.
Beautiful elegant restoraunt, the service is impeccable as the food was. Excellent wine card! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that appreciates fine dining. What else to say then buonissimo!!!!😊
Excellent service. Top star restaurant with amazing food and great wine selection. We really liked it and would totally recommend!*****
Tasty 😍
Very nice lunch at Santa Teresa, fresh and high quality products, the 2 ladies serving us were great. one other male waiter was not looking happy at all, but that's a detail. We recommend this place, and would definitely come back.
Wonderful higher end Italian restaurant offering delicious homemade foods including their own freshly baked breads & pastas. We ate a light dinner sitting outside as the darkness fell, overlooking the amazing ancient centre. Set back far enough from the “Porto Antic” for it not to be thronged with a gazillion tourists. The waiting staff were charming & brought a bowl of water for @JackRussellMikey. The shrimp linguine with carbonara sauce was was DIVINE. Highly recommend this place.
Prezzo sui 65 a testa.
Small menu done really well. Perfect pasta. Fantastic desserts. Service was quick and friendly.
The meat tartar was delicious,so was the rest of the food.
Very decent Genovese specialty dishes
Sadly our waiter didn’t mention that today’s specials included porcini mushrooms, which I would have loved. The food we did have was tasty and well cooked. Despite the impression the menu gives, it is possible to have wine by the glass and by the half bottle. I had pasta with shrimp, pistachio and lemon followed by tuna tataki; both delicious.
Food was very nice, also the people serving were professional. What I didn't like was the prices of some dishes like fruit Salat or pansoti.
It was very expensive and the food felt cheap and not Italian... The wifi didn't work and the didn't take cards. It was not a problem but the seats were uncomfortable.
Excellent selection of high quality local dishes. Service could be better (waiter served prosecco instead of franciacorta thinking we wouldn’t notice and without asking if fine to substitute; we had to ask 3x for the bill and ended up waiting 25 minutes to receive it), but overall a friendly place. Gave a slightly lower rating due to the service, but worth going and filled with locals. Food is a definite 5/5 stars.
We dined here with an Italian friend. The food was excellent however the service was awful. The waitress was rude and simply dismissive - even rolling her eyes when she took away our plates when we hadn’t finished our meal. My Italian friend complained with no apology offered. The next night we dined at Prie Rossi which I highly recommend as a better option.
Overpriced
Food was pretty good but service was very rushed. They were clearing plates before people on the table had finished eating. Quite disappointed with the evening to be honest.
My partner and I visited Santa Teresa for dinner on a Monday evening in October, after finding it was featured in Michelin's Bib Gourmand list of restaurants for Genoa. First, the food - both my cod and my partner's gnocchi were very good, obviously freshly and carefully prepared by the chef (well done!), and the local white wine to go with the dishes was excellent too. When it comes to the service, our waitress was welcoming, but did not speak much English and seemed a bit distracted, also, when we got to the hotel I realised that we'd been charged extra for a coffee. Another thing to note is that the prices are over 30% higher than the surrounding restaurants and seeing that we paid 75 euros for just two mains, two glasses of wine, bottled water and a coffee (well - two coffees, one of which we didn't really have), we feel like the meal was not the best value for money and we wouldn't be in a hurry to return (even though we really enjoyed the food, especially the 'gnocchi scampi').
The food was absolutely delicious, but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. When we asked if it was possible to get a non-alcoholic cocktail, the waitress pulled a face, then laughed behind our backs and mumbled something under her breath as she walked away. While we were still eating, she came over and tried to take the plate without asking, even though it clearly wasn’t finished and people around us were also eating slowly without anyone rushing them. Honestly, I’d recommend this place for the food, but the service totally ruined the experience for me.
Generally felt less welcome as tourist than local. Food was okay, but given can eat better 3 course meals with wine for 1/3 of the price round the corner, hard to say it was value for money. Didn't actually have vegetarian options on the day.
Unfortunately I think we hit a bad night. Arrived on time and seated promptly inside for an 8pm reservation. Ordered water and wine and waited for those to arrive while deciding on food. Ordered a 2016 Barolo and was brought a 2014. No 2016 available. Instead, ordered a 2016 Antinori Brunello and after 15 minuets of searching was brought a 2017, which we accepted as we didn’t want to wait longer. Raw oysters arrived. Excellent. Primi pasta arrived in short order, again excellent. Seccondi arrived after a 30 minute wait, disappointing. Sent my octopus back, very chewy. My wife’s sea bass was cooked well, but flavorless. While this was going on, the kitchen service bell was ringing like a fire alarm constantly, servers were stressed with no leadership to be seen. Yelling and clanging of pots from the unseen kitchen. All this was avoidable I think on most nights. Nice menu, nice wine list, nice venue. Just an off night that cost us €240. If everything would have been like the pasta, it would have been a night to remember.
An old italian classic: the citycenter-rip-off. I love my italien food. And ther are great options right next to santa teresa (f.e. rosmarino) but santa teresa charges 7.50 for a beer, 8 euro for sides (without warning) and up to 22-euros for mediocer dishes. No Italien will ever pay that for the offered qualitiy, therefore its only visited by tourists that inexplicably leave great comments. Dont believe them.
Very poor service and just above average food. This place was recommended to us as a "must try". However, the food was just above average but the pesto for example was very salty. Worst thing was the lack of service, throwing menu's on the table, sighing when asked for allergy information and an overal lack of care. Getting drinks was a challenge as the waitress was not really looking after the tables and was basically running of after one of us asked for a drink without waiting for the others to order. We felt like she just wanted to get this night over with. Overall, I would have rated the service with zero stars if possible.
I went with a friend last night. Overall the food was really excellent however I have to give this restaurant only 1 star because we felt cheated by the cashier - who I believe perhaps knowingly overcharged us for drinks (wine + desert wine) by €9 (I don’t say this lightly but by judging by her behaviour and her expression she already knew when we came back after checking the bill in more detail because she had the €9 ready in coins). So good restaurant in terms of food but a bit too noisy for my taste and unfortunately the bill overcharge tainted our experience.
Nice food, but very rude staff. Zero service, no attitude, arogant
The food was good, the two star is for discrimination against visitors: they give small breads, we got two types but everyone else got three types, the one type we wanted the most was not included; also they have oyster and I asked for price, the girl did not give any info and at the end charged 36 euro for six oyster, it’s super expensive compared with local restaurant price. Not an honest place. Do not recommend
Restaurant reports reviews they don't like to artificially keep an undeserved high review score. I would like to point out that "You were wrong to review restaurant." is just a weird and aggressive reply and kind of makes my point about worse than to be expected service in a fine dining restaurant.
Main dish was cold, house red wine was not good, and desert was drowning in strawberry syrup. Staff wasn’t versed in handling guest complaints. Nice location and wide choice on the menu.
Very un polite service and the food wasn’t the best.
