Pansoti al sugo di noci migliori che io abbia mai mangiato, per non parlare dei tagliolini al pesto di fagiolini e patate, e poi la presentazione pazzesca dei piatti… Tutto pazzesco! Lascio che le foto parlino da sole 😍 Un plauso ai camerieri, servizio velocissimo e tutti di una gentilezza estrema, davvero complimenti ai ragazzi! Trattoria situata nel centro storico di Genova. L'ambiente si presenta pulito, ordinato e semplice tipico di una trattoria ove il personale è cortese e gentile. La cucina propone piatti tipici liguri. Il mercoledì sera ho potuto gustare la trippa genovese e per un laziale abituato alla trippa alla romana è stata una scoperta molto piacevole. I prezzi sono convenienti rispetto alla qualità percepita che comunque risulta essere ottima. Sono sicuro che tornerò a gustare i piatti tipici genovesi presso la trattoria UGO, ove è possibile acquistare anche il pesto fresco prodotto da loro.

Sono stata a cena durante un we lungo a Genova. Il posto è carino, personale gentile, cibo molto buono. Avevo provato il pesto di altre trattorie ma questo è risultato il migliore! Fritto misto per niente unto, croccante. Prezzi nella norma. Da ritornarci la prossima volta che passo per Genova

Per la seconda volta… 97€, 3 primi, tre secondi, due dolci, un caffè, acqua…. Primi ottimi, ravioli al ragù di baccalà, pansotti sugo noci, ravioli crema pistacchi; secondi seppie, brasato, polpetti piccanti, tiramisù di pistacchio che forse forse non si sentiva tanto il gusto di pistacchio. Servizio velocissimo ed efficace, accolti da una bellissima signora cortese e simpatica, attesa nessuna nonostante locale pieno. Che dire complimenti, sempre una garanzia. Avrei voluto prendere le frittelle di baccalà ma solo la mia impressione, riscrivo, solo un impressione mi sembravano a vista troppo unte….

This place was fantastic! As US travelers who are inexperienced in the Italian language, we really appreciated the patience and kindness we were met with. We showed up as soon as they opened with no reservation and they were able to accommodate us. Afterwards they made sure we enjoyed our meal and constantly asked how we liked it. Just loved it. Like the best Italian grandma would make, and you can taste the love in every bite. We were just about fighting over our favorites. Ordered the pesto and the nightly special of minestrone soup. Both very tasty. The pesto pasta was very unique. Pesto “sauce” was like a scoop of pesto “gelato” on top of pasta. You mix it together with the pasta. *chefs kisses

This is a true gem in Genoa. The pesto is amazing fragrant, tasty and creamy. Service is good. The ambiance is simple and rustic, a typical old Italian trattoria. My pesto pasta was unbelievable and the following day we went back to buy some pesto to bring home. Prices are very fare and in line with the location.

Managed to snag a table without a reservation to this amazing gem. The pesto pasta is the absolute best - they make it in-house and also sell to-go versions across the road down the street a bit. Portions were on the smaller side, but worth it. The tiramisu with pistachio was a must-order also

I don’t give 5 stars lightly but this restaurant deserves it! I’m writing this review within the restaurant, I haven’t ever ordered my coffee! Came to get a fast bite before I took off to another city, we didn’t have a reservation but they quickly got us in! I ordered the gnocchi with octopus ragú and the classic fettuccine (Verdi) al pesto, both were absolutely delicious! Best Pesto I’ve ever had!!! I’m definitely coming back to Genova just to eat here!!!

I spent 40 days traveling to all Italy this was a very memorable experience this place has been around for more than 20 years and the best pasta ever and the best Tiramisu of my whole life was there

Trattoria nel centro storico di Genova.. menu essenziale, buono il pesto, i pansoti con la crema di noci... no, troppa crema e poco gusto di noce. Secondi piatti: buoni i moscardini e la frittura, il polpo con pure anche no, freddo e poco gusto. Dolci discreti, buono il rapporto qualitá prezzo.

Se siete a Genova non potete provare questa trattoria. Ottimi piatti e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Le porzioni sei secondi non sono abbondanti ma il gusto è ben equilibrato e gli ingredienti sempre fresci e saporiti. Servizio veloce (consigliata la prenotazione).

Non potendo mangiare glutine, ho gustato uno splendido baccalà con patate. Locale molto pieno, prenotazione obbligatoria. Se desiderate pranzare con calma, chiacchierare e godere pienamente la compagnia dei vostri commensali, non è il posto indicato. Si mangia bene, ci sono molti avventori e bisogna lasciare libero il tavolo per le prenotazioni a seguire.

Trattoria in centro a Genova. Assolutamente da provare è da prenotare nel weekend perché è sempre piena.. personale molto gentile a volte è un po’ distratto. Abbiamo mangiato in quattro delle buonissime tagliatelle al pesto con fagiolini e patata, sarde in carpione, acciughe ripiene alla ligure.. abbiamo preso il vino sfuso della casa e su quello andrebbe migliorato un po’ la qualità. Comunque, un posto che raccomando se si vuole assaggiare la vera cucina genovese

The freshness of the ingredients is they key here. Came for their pesto pasta but was not totally convinced. It's not a knock you off your seat meal by any means and the flavours are very simple. Well worth a try while in Genoa but not sure this is the one I would recommend.

We arrived at 7:30 PM without a reservation, and the staff seated us, informing us that we could stay until 8:45 PM, which was acceptable. The staff was average, and when we asked for help with the menu, they refused to speak English. Since we were hungry, we stayed and ordered. The food was average; the meat was chewy, the pasta tasteless, and the mixed seafood was the only dish we enjoyed. It would have been better to leave. The place dont deserve the hype.
