I do not have anything bad to say about this restaurant. From the atmosphere to the staff to the food, everything was perfect. I highly recommend the Calabrese (pictured below closest to camera with the pepperoni because it has the Genova cheese strachino that just melts on the pizza). It’s also super fun to sit around so many people all laughing and eating.

The food here is always good. Friendly staff. They have a decent gluten free pizza crust if you need that.

Beautiful place with very lovely people, grate food with delicious taste and great cocktails. Amazing service the staff was really friendly.

Bar Berto impressed us with its delicious pizza. The prices are very reasonable, with a Margherita costing 6 euros and the most expensive pizza at 12 euros. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent. The bar and restaurant are located on a small, charming square with six shops, just a few steps outside the city center. This location gives the place a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even more pleasant. A small note: in the evenings, it can take a bit longer to get a table, but it's definitely worth the wait. Overall, a wonderful spot for a relaxed evening with delicious pizzas and good service.

Nice, simple bar. They have a buffet but they seem to have a deal with the bar opposite and serve food from their menu. It works quite well. There is very little English spoken there but once again they did well to establish what we wanted and well all got the right food and drinks. Good fun for a local experience.

Historic bar in one of the most crowded squares of Genoa (on Fridays especially). Prices are in line with the other bars and service is OK. They also have a second floor but everyone is outdoors.

Our waiter was friendly (some others were really rude), but food is overpriced and took forever (45 mins) to get a plate of pasta. Good side: pasta with pesto was tasty and the area is nice.

I don't recommend it to anyone. Terrible, very rude service. They didn't let us finish our beers that we bought there, just because we also wanted to eat a focaccia there as well. She said it's against THEIR rule!... Ridiculous. Shame of the city.
