Really good food. I got the breakfast plate with eggs and chorizo and it tasted so authentic, plus the portion was good. Will definitely revisit to try everything on the menu.

Excellent chimichanga, crispy and well seasoned, delicious steak burrito that hits all the right notes, must have again!

Maya Fusion Cafe is one of my favorite spots around. To me, the fusion refers to the mix of diner offerings and latin food, which I appreciate, since it’s quite difficult to find that diner vibe in this area. Great food for a great price, with a very homey atmosphere and menu.

J
Joe Ahearn

Love this place. Wonderful outdoor seating area, and there are so many items in the menu I enjoy. The staff always remembers me; have had many a great walk from my house to here and back.

Stopped in on a whim to get a pupusa and it has quickly become my favorite spot in the neighborhood. Wide variety of Latin American dishes. Solid portion, very good prices, friendly service, good crowd (but not too crowded), and very tasty food. Dishes are made to order, so don't expect a grab-n-go. I really like the pupusas, mole, and quesadillas (it was like a quesadilla-Caesar salad fusion. Not "traditional", but really delicious). They also have a TV and show soccer matches. I really hope that they are here for the long haul!

I love this place... Go on Tuesday for the taco Tuesday deals..... The Pina colada is amazing. With 2 steak and 1 chicken taco. Fresh veggies to go with the tacos and all.. they have a mushroom burger that's amazing as well

Cute unsuspecting place! The loco pupusa with the centralamericano breakfast was outstanding. It's a perfect mix of chicken and cheese. So good and they serve alcohol. 10/10

Been in bushwick for almost 20 years( always looking for food from my mother land) and these by far are best Pupusa’s in Brooklyn!! Also just as amazing Mexican food. This little gem never disappoints! It’s authentic and always on point.

Fantastic pozole rojo, though made with beef rather than pork. Still, REALLY good flavor!

We recently moved in around the corner from Maya Fusion and have eaten dinner here twice already. Both times we were really pleased with our food. They have an extensive menu of Mexican and El Salvadorian dishes with very reasonable prices.

This is my favorite place, between CDMX and NYC, to get authentic, fresh Mexican cuisine—not to worry: sometimes the service is a little slow, especially when sitting outside. A go-to when appreciating the sun and a nice meal!

10/10 will definitely be back again! I don’t eat out much but I’ve been curious about this place for a while now and I wasn’t disappointed! Really great outdoor space, amazing prices, INCREDIBLE service…just wow! So cute! Boozy margaritas! Tasty food! And the flan is great too :)

I only do takeaway from this place but the food is absolutely incredible. I got huevos and chorizos once and was shocked to see thick, handmade masa meal tortillas. Regular mexican places do not put this amount of quality into their food, they definitely are just using store bought tortillas for sure. Then I got a Pupusa today and the eggs were done perfectly and they included an obviously handmade tomatillo sauce with it that was incredible. I'm so glad this place is in the area. Whoever is cooking here, please keep doing what you do!

Authentic home made Mexican cuisine by lovely family. Drinks are great too. I just wish they were opening a little later at night.

This place is amazing, I’m upset I’ve lived nearby for two years and only just starting going last week- I’ve returned three times since. I’ve had their chimichangas and enchiladas and both were really good. All their sauces are really flavorful, including the hot sauces you get on the side. And as a vegetarian, their beans that come on the side are so good. Will be here regularly.

If you're looking to satiate a craving for pupusas, HIGHLY recommend this spot. They have the classics and their own Pupusa Loca - all of which are delicious!

Consistently good food!!!! Each time I’ve gone with my boyfriend we’ve ordered something different from the breakfast menu and it’s all been delicious and homemade. Their pupusas are bomb, batidos are bomb, carne is bomb, chilaquiles bomb. Highly recommend

Great new place in the neighborhood! Staff is friendly and inviting, spoke to us all about tacos and housemade tortillas. The tacos are very good!! They operate as a breakfast spot in the morning time and tacos at night. They also offer free delivery in the area. Excited to give this place more of my business!

I frequent this place and it’s so delicious! I’ve tried lots of food and drinks and they never miss. Highly recommend the pupusas, tortas, and even the burgers. Service is always great and it’s a cute vibe in there with music videos playing. Definitely will come back again and again

We had chips and guacamole to start which were excellent. The chips are so nice and crispy! Hubs had the Carne asada burrito and I had the mole poblano chicken. Both were so delicious, the mole was some of the best I've had. Margaritas were decent. Music was excellent just a tiny bit loud. Service was friendly and the food came quickly. Definitely recommend this place!

Had their pupusas and were amazing! They were huge and had more filling than breading lol.

Randomly wanted Mex food, found this place on maps and it might have been the best decision ever! We got a burrito and a Chimichanga, very delicious, a lots of flavor and when you top it with the green sauce, you will leave satisfied. Very good prices too.

Live right down the street and I got the Carne Asada burrito and I have to say I was impressed and their rice and beans were AMAZING!! Side note I’m from Southern California and Mexican so I would know!

A

Consistently delicious, Pupusas are really the thing to get . Can take some considerable time to get the food while dining in but whenever I call in a pick up it’s ready in 10-15 minutes. Could probably organize the orders better but otherwise a great spot. I usually get a few tacos and a few Pupusas, but honestly one of each is enough per person! Very reasonably priced and friendly staff.

I used to live by this restaurant and I went there almost every week. I absolutely love this place and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal. The people who work there are amazing and very nice. The food is always delicious and fresh and served quickly. The margaritas are awesome as well. They have indoor/outdoor seating with beautiful flowers outside in the warmer seasons. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

I had the Torta de Carne Asada, and let me tell you—it was packed with meat, something that’s hard to find nowadays. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying, and it’s clear they don’t cut corners when it comes to quality. What made the experience even better was the care and attention from José, the owner. He personally checked in to make sure everything was perfect, which made me feel really valued as a guest. The server was also very attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed throughout the meal. If you’re in Brooklyn and craving a real, hearty torta, this is the spot. You can tell José and his team take great pride in what they do. Highly recommend!

I love Maya! Im a local and have been coming for a few years now. I come from the Bay Area, so I am well versed with this cuisine. Obviously nothing here compares to the Bay, but I do love Maya’s pupusas. And when I’m craving a burrito, their Al Pastor does the trick :) so tasty.

This spot has great food, great service, great prices, and a lovely outdoor seating area. My husband and I have been ordering and eating here for YEARS, and it is a house favorite. They are accommodating, quick, and serve a diverse menu that appeals to all. It is so wonderful to have such a solid and reliable place in the neighborhood! I don't know her name, but the lovely lady, who seems to be a manager and is always there, is the sweetest!

If I could give service a 6/5 I would! I ordered food here for a catered work event and Jose more than delivered. He made an order special for my needs and even threw in a few bonus items for us. I have all latin workers who loved the fajitas, rice and beans, salad, and chips and salsa. Flavor was excellent and it was still hot when it arrived! The leftovers were great too!! 10/10 experience all around.

I was pleasantly surprised to find such amazing food in this corner of Bushwick. Their ribs were seasoned & fried just like my mom would make them—crispy on the outside, juicy & tender on the inside! Their homemade hot sauce was legit. I don’t get out to Bushwick often, but I will definitely make a bee line back here next time I do!

We absolutely love going here for brunch! We love their margaritas 🍹. I got the costillas in green sauce and it’s the best, came with rice and beans and handmade tortillas. Hubby got chicken fajitas also came with rice and beans and handmade tortillas. We shared the molcajete 🫶🏼everything was delicious 🤤

Enjoying a meal is a holistic experience. And this place gives you that. The atmosphere, the service, and the deliciousness of the food, plus their fair pricing, make it all worthwhile. It's a fantastic Mexican restaurant in the Bushwick area.

This place is amazing. Food is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. They serve alcohol now!!! Huge plus. They also serve coffee all day, greatly appreciated it after a heavy meal. They also have snacks and soft drinks from all over Latin America. One of the true run by locals spots in Bushwick.

This place is a hidden gem. I only discovered it by googling tacos near me. At first it looked a little sketchy because it’s a small place on the corner and it was basically completely empty. But I decided to dine there anyway. Outside of course because covid is still bossing us around. I ordered a chicken taco, carne asada taco, bean and cheese pupusas, fully loaded chicken nachos, red sangria, and a piña colada! Now I know what you’re thinking … how could I eat all of this at once… I didn’t. I went for lunch and dinner. Everything was sooo delicious!!! So delectable and full of flavor!!! And then topping it off with their homemade spicy red sauce and green sauce made it even that much more tasty. I will definitely be going back to taste more of their menu.

Serious Salvadorian food awaits in this unassuming local spot. The Mexican menu is well executed and definitely not lacking, even in comparison to the many local choices, but the owners are more passionate about their Central American roots so put your attention there.

C
C Greene

Solid Hispanic food (Salvadorian). I recommend the birria tacos and nachos! Reasonably priced for most items. The tacos are expensive but similar to other places.

A
Adriana “Alex”

I really enjoyed my food here. I came here for a quick lunch (which wasn't quick lol) and ordered a sangria, chicken quesadilla and horchata. The sangria, while was a bit small was really strong. I mean I was surprised how tipsy I was with one drink. The chicken quesadilla is made out of corn tortilla which is different but I enjoyed it. It's not the typical American quesadilla. It used cotija cheese, very flavorful grilled chicken, lettuce and sour cream. All and all I would def ordered this again. The horchata was just ok, a bit on the watery side. The service was ok, nothing to write home about but you can tell it's a mom and pop shop even if it's a bit on the bigger side.

M
Miriam Ramos- Ortiz

The food prices are extremely reasonable and so are the drinks. It's a very calm, serene atmosphere. I had the fried pork chop dinner and it was excellent. My husband had a burrito and it was big.

R
Ren Hughes

Wonderful food, nice serving staff, locally owned. I go here all the time for their authentic food, and cozy atmosphere. Only slight downside is it can be a little slow sometimes, and don't sit on the side of the outdoor seating near Schaefer street, you're harder to see there so the waits are longer.

S
S. Mizrahi

I’ve been ordering from here for years, the food is well-made. I always get the nachos, sometimes quesadilla, and they have great pupusas. I think one of the guys was having a bad night, he kept insisting (3-4x) I ordered a burrito even though I ordered nachos lol … Pretty weird encounter, so I left. Anyways you should get the nachos, they’re great.

The atmosphere was nice and the food was good, but the service left something to be desired. It took them a while to attend to our table, and I’ve never been reprimanded before for simply not liking my drink.

This the, yo I want to go to a low key spot and be outside. Not pricey. Family can go cause it’s not crowded, drinks hit. Food ranges from tacos, to pupusas, to whatever decent spread of Latin eats. Cooked fresh.

May 2023: party of two Pictures are from two different times I ate here, but the review is going to be the same. I enjoyed the food here they have American, Mexican, and Salvadoran dishes present. I personally came here for the pupusas and they have traditional options. Although the service is slow but its worth the waiting time. When you see Mexicans and people from all over Latinoamérica you know its the spot. I must say the rice isn’t my favorite it needs more sazon but thats okay. Camarones a la mexicana taste really good with natural and tradition sazon which was nice and its friendly for people that don’t like spicy. They give you the option of salsa, so you can add as much as you want for your dish to enjoy.

Really impressed with this spot ,I gotta say. Good day-specific deals, great tortillas and very fresh produce. Food here is genuine as well as the vibe. Keep in mind this is not just a mexican restaurant but you will also find an array of mesoamerican dishes on the menu. Very delicious food and very nice and professional staff. Will come again.

V

Tacos were good and the drinks were good. When we sat for tacos we were told that the price of our tacos would be the brunch special as we were there before 3pm so it was still brunch. ($2.00 tacos) when the bills comes we hear that tacos not $2.00 because of the cheeze, lettuce and tomato is extra?🤯Ummm, what is a taco if no tomato, lettuce and cheeze? The drinks were good. If we return it may be just for the drinks. At least that was straight forward. (Again the food is tasty and the atmosphere, being on the outside was nice, irregardless of the insects.

I had tacos so I could get a taste of a couple items. Ingredients were fresh, fried fish tacos & Camaron tacos were tasty but the carnitas were a disappointment.

R

Love this place they have a great menu, and food and place are clean, but I don't like the service. The girl at the counter always treats us wrong and has an attitude

J
Jade Zeller

First timer and I ordered the Tinga burrito (spicy chicken). Not only did the chicken have zero spice but also zero flavor. Tasted oily and more fat pieces then actual chicken. Their hot sauce isn't even spicy. I give it 3 stars because the lady working was very nice and I do want to try more on their menu. So maybe I will update down the road but for now? Extremely lack luster :(

E
Edana

The first time I went here I had a decent experience. The food is affordable, and arrived quickly. The food was pretty good. Staff is friendly. My michelada was weak in terms of the additional mix for the beer. My one complaint about this visit is that while paying my bill at the counter the person asked me if I wanted to add a tip, which I gladly did. I added 20%, even though this isn't a standard restaurant environment where the server comes to check on you multiple times during your meal. Well, later on I looked at my bill realizing it seemed high and found out they automatically charge you 15% gratuity on all bills. So I tipped 35% ultimately. Second visit was last week, the portions were smaller. One of my Carne asada tostatas was full of bone and cartilage. Drinks were not good. Again, they charged 15% gratuity automatically on a party of 2. This time, we had no interaction with a server beyond them bringing the food outside. Ultimately, I give this place a 3.5. Not exceptional, but not bad.

H
Hacker Kyle

Only a 3 because I bit into a chicken bone first bite, and they kinda shrugged it off. Definitely ate the rest of the meal carefully. The food was a 5, but the response was a shame. Don't know if I'll go back.

Update: We used to frequent this restaurant. However we will not be doing so any longer. Sadly- the last time we were in, we were charged more than the price stated on the menu for my item. My husband got tacos and they started to charge for the lettuce and tomato and regular toppings, as well as upcharged for certain meats without warning. This is on top of the fact that they started adding gratuity to the check without warning a while back. My husband always tips well, but when it first happened, ended up almost doubling the price of the meal in the double tip (as he hadn't realized it was already added) and the tax. This time the bill was almost double his calculations again due to the upcharges. We understand being in a bind with costs, even as a restaurant , but the customers don't always have endless amounts of money either, and charging higher without warning is unacceptable. We usually buy multiple meals and eat family style, but this time we had to watch our spending and ended up paying just as much as if we had gotten 3 meals to share and take home extra instead of the two we got. The food also ended up being nowhere near as good as other times we went. We are unsure if that was about the cook variance, or if ingredients had to be cut. In the end good customers ended up being lost and the rating decreased. You are welcome to read the original review and decide for yourself if you want to try it out... but make sure you have extra money just in case. Original review: Like any restaurant, the food quality can vary slightly depending on the cook, with some doing certain food better than others. That being said, my husband and I like to frequent this restaurant because the food quality is consistently decent to excellent and it's always a pleasure to visit. We have tried most things on the menu at this point and there are few things I wouldn't recommend... and those are purely due to personal preference. If you're looking for good eats for a decent price that always has good service and consistently has good food, then I highly suggest this venue. The one thing to note is, also just like anywhere, if possible it is better to eat in than take out. Delivery is never kind to the quality of food, especially if it is meant to be crispy.

Food is flavorful but keep in mind if you are craving authentic baleadas this is not the place to get them from, its more of a burrito style giving that its a Mexican fusion as well its made with Mexican beans, overall good I might just try tacos next!

I really do love Maya Fusion Cafe, and honestly, there’s a lot to appreciate here, but they also need some work The menu is extensive. It kind of feels like when you go to a diner and you’re handed a book instead of a menu. I think they’d benefit from narrowing it down a bit so they can focus on perfecting a smaller set of standout dishes. That said, the food we tried was solid. The pupusas revueltas were delicious, the pollo and carne tostadas hit the spot, and the tamales de elote were fluffy and satisfying. The baleadas were good too, though I wish they made them with refried beans instead of whole pinto beans to really bring it together. Portion size was HUGE for a $5 Baleada! The banana milkshake is a must. Thick, creamy, and flavorful. And I appreciate that they accept cards (a plus in Bushwick), but they should definitely highlight the fact that you get a slight discount if you pay in cash. Only a couple real gripes: • Service is super slow, even when the place isn’t packed. • Automatic gratuity is added to the bill, which I’m never a huge fan of—especially if it’s not mentioned clearly up front. • It took a FOREVER to get our food, and communication could’ve been a bit smoother. On the flip side, prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get—especially the lunch specials and weekly menu deals. The portion sizes are NO JOKE. I’ll definitely be back and hope to see some small improvements. Maya has serious potential to be amazing if they tighten up the menu, speed up service, and fine-tune a few other details.

My FIRST meal when I moved to NYC on September 2. How awesome it could have been. Was hoping for more as my first solo date & 4.2 stars ⭐️ but honestly, over priced & nothing spectacular about these tacos. Don’t taste authentic and the steak meat tacos are cooked really tough. Juice ounce is small, not worth $5. Service is family owned but doesn’t feel homie. I ate inside, they were just in a rush with an hour before close. Not the most hospitable. Could be cleaner too.

J
J. S.

The food was relatively good but I ended up with food poisoning the next day, and this was the only food I ate the day prior. Also the pupusas were overcooked/heated — the oil was separating from the cheese leading to a greasy mess. There are better spots for pupusas. Eat here at your own risk. I will likely not be back.

S
Sheila Hylton DeToro Forlenza

The food was so very bland. The service was not terrible...just lacking. After waiting more than 15 minutes, the appetizer came out with the food, so I had to make the choice to let my food sit so that I could appreciate the nachos. The toppings were fairly good, but the chips were half burnt. Not a good look at all. The Maya Roasted Chicken was terrible. The rice was ok. The beans, passable. The salad, fairly nonexistent...just icebirn and radishes. There were NO other patrons and yet the waiter came for the two bite check after about 8 minutes (way long). Will not be returning, unfortunately.

The food is pretty good, but nothing to write home about. They seem to be not happy if you don’t order a drink with your food and are kind of pushy about it. For “taco Tuesday,” you get a dollar off tacos (from $4 to $3 for street tacos) but you can only get 3 of the same tacos and you also have to get a drink that costs at least $5. Kind of ridiculous. Tacos have to be steak, chicken, or pork. I got steak and was charged over $5 for the additional shrimp taco I got. I’ve been here quite a few times because it’s close but I don’t think I’ll be back. The service is slow, and they also automatically include 20% tip on all tabs. Restaurant could be a little cleaner. Take a few minutes to walk north a few blocks to somewhere with better food and the same or cheaper prices.

I used to enjoy coming here, but as they say all things come to an end. I was so disappointed my last visit here. We sat outside and waited at the least half hour to order. Then a wasp happened, ik they can't control the bees but we were being chased by a wasp so we took it inside. And in doors after we ordered where full of flies. They had the front door open with the AC on and it was hot. So apart from being a bit hot from the summer 🥵 heat we were fighting away the flies as we ate. We waited well over half an hour to be served. So many disgusting flies all shapes and sizes. Trying to land on our food. We did call over the staff and relayed the message of the flies and the only lady server said we've been telling the owner over and over. They had no zappers for the flies or any way to keep them out. Totally disappointed with this place now. How about in the kitchen where we can't see the food being prepped. I can only imagine the flies on the food as it already seemed they could care less. I actually felt like calling the dept of health and still do. Food taste authentic but not worth the wait nor inconvenience of batting aways flies that shouldn't be in there in the first place.

The charged us with the tip with any notification, and we tipped the waiter in cash. The waiter gave us wrong information about the promo and they charged more than we expected. The manager did not show up. Not more explanation or corrections. At least we did not lost a lot of money.

Was in complete disbelief with the service we received this evening. After placing an order at 5:44 pm, we were advised the food would be delivered no later then 6:45 pm. Our food did not show up until after 8:00 pm. Not only did that happen, but when notified that the order was incorrect the gentleman who answered the phone became argumentative when I explained to him how the online system works. When ordering food on Seamless you have the option to select the item and the quantity. I selected two chicken burritos with spices and requested for no cheese yet they still added cheese to one of them. I was more so in total shock when the gentleman tried to argue and accuse me of placing the order with cheese when I knew I did not do it.

So disappinted i decided to order from here after reading the good reviews and it was a big mistake. I asked the lady if the spicy chicken burrito is chicken breast and they both said yes when i got home and took a bite there was a huge bone in my first bite. No flavor and definitely wasn't chicken breast. Also got the steak and it was bland and chewy. Wouldn't go back ever!

Last time im coming to this place! The service was terrible again and again and again! They have 4 pages of menù for no reason because they take 45 minutes to cook some scramble eggs and beans. Today as soon as I arrived I did order 2 coffees, 2 glasses of water and 2 OJ. The coffee and the water arrived but not the OJ, after another 15 minutes I went inside to place my order because the waiter she couldn't take my order at the table even if I was ready 25 minutes ago. Inside...they told me that they were busy (5 tables) and I will need to wait for another 30 minutes! Dear owner: you need a new waiter and you need a real menù if you are not available to cook your 300 items that you have in your menu!

I ordered the Yuca with Chicharrón, plátano maduro, and carnitas burrito. The delivery guy didn’t follow the instructions I gave. The order came 90 minutes late, and it was wrong. The burrito had pineapple and chorizo. The chicharron was very bad. I was expected to be fried and crunchy, it was stewed so it tasted very fatty. Platano maduro was boiled, not fried.

The food tastes good but honestly I find it illogical that they have on the menu something called carne asada and it is not a meat but a torta, situation that becomes more confusing because they offer you to add rice and beans which makes you confirm that it is only a meat what they are selling, I feel that the word torta should be specified or added because although the food was good it is not what I wanted and I had to eat it because I had already paid for it. Of course I didn’t have a solution because I ordered through DoorDash and When I called to maya fusion cafe, they just washed their hands saying that they couldn’t do anything because I didn’t order directly with them.

Spent $90 on 8 tacos and 2 coronas Did not honor taco Tuesday $3 taco deal They charge $1 per topping on tacos (lettuce , cilantro , tomatoes etc) Waiter automatically put a 25% gratuity on our bill and had an attitude when we told them we only wanted to pay 15%

I was ripped off by staff because they saw I was a tourist. They charged me almost $50 for 1 churros, 1 pina colada and 2 beers. Pina colada cocktail price in the menu and in the adverts outside the restaurant was $10 but they charged me $15 for something called 'Open Liquor'.

Be careful with this place... They hide fees like tips on the check, and also they over change you for "extra ingredients ", even when before to take you order they explain you otherwise. I asked for the manager and it didn't show up. The poor under pay waitress us the one you have to dial with... Food is all right, so that's the start for... Thera are better options in the area, believe me!

Food and service was good, ambience was good but we felt cheated, the menu said Chips were $4, but we were charged $10; he said Chips with Salsa are $10 even though menu doesn’t say that. Didn’t appreciate getting cheated. Won’t go again

This rating is based on takeout - the food’s great however my takeout orders consistently take 10-20 minutes longer than the 30-minute quote time, and my recent 6/1 order took 40 minutes longer (1 hour and 10 minutes total) - I respect and understand they were busy and maybe short-staffed, but they ought to consider a limitation on how many takeout orders they can take within a specific timeframe so they don’t upset their community (I noticed various takeout orders and dine-in guests visibly upset this evening while waiting as well). Not to mention, this is a slap in the face for the gratuity I continually leave on takeout orders as well. Please do better.

I honestly was a frequent client. Until I had a Terrible experience yesterday. I went here for dinner, and it was by far the worst dining experience I’ve had. The server was rushing me to finish eating because they were closing soon — it was 8:30-9pm….very unprofessional. The food was cold, and one of the sausages was completely burned. I’m honestly surprised this restaurant is still in business. To top it all off, they overcharged me. I wouldn’t have minded paying the listed price if the food had been properly prepared and the customer service had been decent. I won’t be coming back.

It’s very disappointing that the servers try to scam you and add over 20% in gratuity without notifying you. Ordered 3 margs and sopes and they tried to charge me $87 by adding gratuity without telling u so be careful because u might mindlessly add a tip! Please stop this BS, customers deserve transparency. Keep in mind I am a teacher in the community that they are ripping off, it’s very disappointing and I won’t be back. Do not come here. They also had an attitude when I corrected it, just horrible! This is clearly a repetitive issue that needs to be addressed. Servers will also try to guilt you, don’t put up with their BS.

I came here for a taco Tuesday deal but food was terrible an over priced; more than $30 bucks for a just one person (just me ) plus the server (old guy server ) tap my credit card with 22% add tip with no permission. I came there before and was ok but after this ; I’m not recommending this place at all and this is my last time there unfortunately

This place used to be decent at best, it’s very hard to find Central American food in the neighborhood let alone nyc. But it’s now gone from decent to awful. I warn yall DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE. They literally gave us food poisoning. We didn’t eat all the food but the next day not only were we cramping throwing up and doing all kinds of things in the toilet, we pulled out the food from the fridge and the sauces smelled RANK think of the smell of a rotting watermelon. All the sauces. They are using canned beans, the rice and beans has absolutely no flavor and extremely overpriced for what is served.

I never leave reviews but people should be warned. The food is ok but the service is a scam. They add a gratuity without telling you - which I don’t really care if they automatically add it but at least let us know before. The server brought us the card terminal already open to the add a tip screen & the check holder but it was empty and didn’t have the itemized check, which was clearly done on purpose so we wouldn’t see that the tip was already added. We noticed the bill on the card terminal seemed a little high but we still added a 20% tip. Since it seemed off we asked the server to bring us an itemized receipt and that’s when we noticed they already added a gratuity. And to top things off the cost that they put on the card terminal is the cost of the food + added gratuity + tax which they then are asking for a tip based off of that total. When we told them about the issue they responded with the transaction was already complete and there’s nothing they could do. In the end it’s not so much about the money as it is the action and the fact they’re trying to scam their own customers - shame on them

I rarely write reviews, but this place deserves it. I went in for a simple lunch, ordered a beef fajita and lemonade, and left feeling completely ripped off. The food was bland, definitely not worth the price, and to top it off, they automatically added a 20% tip—for just one person during lunch! When I asked to split my payment between card and cash, the waiter claimed their system didn’t allow it and could only do it if I paid at the counter. It felt like they were trying to squeeze every dollar out of me with inflexible and frustrating policies. Bottom line: overpriced, disappointing food and sneaky service that left me feeling taken advantage of. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its customers!
