Food is great service is bad. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s getting worst. I paid $7 plus for this and no meat or fish is in it. Robbery......you don’t notice it if you go every now and then but if come here often you notice each cashier charge different

I grew up in the area and i was always privy to the stereo type of how the workers in Jamaican restaurants are rude . My goodness i did not expect it to happen in real life. The cashier and female manager on duty are bottom tier disrespectful. I’ve been supporting that business 8+ months consistently. I’m always respectful polite and out the way. i always ordered the same soup, same portion. Suddenly the portion became a problem to the cashier who started making rude side comments. I ignored it the first time . Then days later she doubled down and repeated the rudeness. I’m now baffled because I’m always positive with these people. If there’s a “policy change” or any new information it’s your duty as a business to communicate to the customer. Instead the cashier and her manager decided to be rude loud and disrespectful…unprovoked! I’ll take my money and business elsewhere, there’s many better options in the area.

I really love Jamaican Food and want to try always! The girl who worked there was very nice, she explained everything. It’s just that the food is not fresh, family got diarrhea for days. We bought Okra as well and that was bad as soon as we got home so threw it away. The only thing good was the bread. They didn’t have jerk chicken which is my favorite. Please tell me where to eat good Jamaican food :) ( we got in pic, rice&peas, okra, Oxtail, chicken curry, fried sweet bread)

Don’t ever buy soup from here!!! I ordered a large chicken soup on DoorDash 16 DOLLARS and this is what they send to me!! I’m so mad like who would wanna eat this? First time ordering from this store and I’ll never again!

Ya’ll need to hire someone else to cook the vegan ital stew and lentils. I was excited that you guys have integrated vegan dishes, but yuck!!!! The beans tasted like straight oil. You couldn’t taste any seasonings, just oil flavored beans/lentils. I threw it out. Waste of money! Do better, really.

My Ghanaian friend introduce me to this restaurant last week and I have bought food there about 6 times. Yesterday for lunch I brought two people with me to support them because the food isn’t bad and being a born Jamaican I want to support a Jamaican business. Long story short, I got my food and the lady at the counter asked if I took ox tail, I told her just one piece. She said once I take ox tail it’s $9.99 per pound. I only took one piece.. look on the pic. I paid $20 for this food and a soda. So mi basically pay $17 for a plate of rice. She went on to say that she always tell people to take a full plate of ox tail only to get their moneys worth. So I told her that she didn’t tell me that so she sent me to look on the sign. That’s when I say their thing. I told her I did not know. And to top it off she was laughing! I won’t support this business again because they are unfair! This is why a lot of Jamaican businesses fail. Well they will be losing more customers. Because I will tell people about my experience. mi ago see if the $17 for rice and one piece a ox tail ago Mek unuh betta. Jamaican a di worsssst to each other.
