Absolutely amazing experience! The burger and chicken & waffles were both delicious—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. The restaurant is also super clean and has such a cute, welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a place worth visiting again!

There is no place like this. It’s my most favorite place to eat in all of NYC. Delicious food, and the kindest and best restaurant owner I know. I’ve been going here for YEARS, and have loved it the whole time. The most delicious French fries in NYC— hands down. The original and spectacular brunch menu—- you must try it. My favorite soup ever—- avgolemono! The sauce that comes with the chicken and waffles (you NEED to taste it). The food is fresh, and you will love all of it. Please do yourself a favor, and even if there is a wait (it’s likely/possible, because people know how superb this place is), trust me— it’s WORTH IT. Everyone who works at Pegasus is so kind and welcoming. They work really hard and offer an incredible experience. Fresh squeezed orange juice? YES. Delicious milkshakes? YES. Thank you, Pegasus, for being such a major part of why I love this city. I will love this place forever and visit it as often as I can. Also, it’s hard to take high quality pics when the food is so delicious (and you just want to eat it, rather than take pics), but I have a few pics here for you anyway!

This little neighborhood place is a delight… it’s family run, and the food and wait staff were extraordinary. I tried the CHICKEN & WAFFLE (Chicken strips coated with a crispy panko crust, served with a Belgian waffle & our own honey-dijon maple butter sauce on side), chicken strips can be cut with a fork ;) and my Husband ordered the BANANAS FOSTER FRENCH TOAST (Challah bread French toast topped w/ caramelized bananas in a rum maple sauce, topped with a scoop of mascarpone whipped cream) and roasted Pecans. The coffee was excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised they made my hot chocolate with real milk upon request! It’s cash or Venmo only, and for your convenience, there’s an ATM machine in the back if you need it, so if you’re in the mood to try something fun and different… this is the place :) Buona appetito!

The huevos rancheros on their brunch menu is SO GOOD. The staff was super friendly even when they seemed pretty busy. Their orange juice is pretty fresh too, they look like they make it in house. I am definitely coming back here, the price of food is worth the quality.

One of my favorite to go places when I visit New York. I have been here multiple times with family and we absolutely love it. It does stay busy and there may be a short waiting time, but the service is fast and excellent. I've only tried the breakfast but the multiple times I have been there it has been very good. The food is freshly cooked, tastes very good, and I always look forward to having a nice cup of coffee from here. This is a great restaurant with a cozy environment and a great menu. Highly recommended!

Pegasus Restaurant is a small, cozy diner that serves delicious food with authentic Great flavors and friendly service. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere feels like home. Be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy hours, and parking can be tricky to find — but the meal and experience are well worth it.

Highly recommend to call in advance to be on the waitlist so you don’t have to wait. The food is delicious. I wish they gave attention to tables water and coffee. You can sit for a long while without any refills and I had to ask for water. It’s a simple thing that can make a big difference in the dining experience.

Food was good, waffle and chicken was on point and fluffy. Kick axx egg Benedict with bacon was good, wish the ciabatta would hold up more, but the time I got it, it was too wet to hold its texture. Omelette was light and fresh, so customers can adjust the sodium level themselves, I like that. We had cold brew coffee, had mine black, and it was good, acidity and taste were balanced. Our server was friendly and attentive. Would recommend this place for brunch, price is good for the portion received. Wish it was closer to home, def will be a spot I would frequent. Our wait time to be seated on a Saturday around 11 am was 40 minutes.

~ Service ~ Greeted warmly and served promptly. ~ Atmosphere ~ Homey and unpretentious. ~ Food ~ -Frappe was delicious and strong enough to keep that mid-afternoon slump at bay. -Burrito was seasoned satisfactorily but was a little on the sloppy side, enough to resort to cutlery. -Peaches and cream pancakes were rather ordinary. The peaches were cooked to just the right firmness, though. * All in all, a decent breakfast/brunch spot. Portions are generous, so come hungry! And in keeping with the old-school vibe, they only accept cash (and Venmo).

Very good food! If I lived closer this would be the spot to go to for breakfast/brunch. I would love a chicken taco option. Large menu. Something for everyone. Everything tasted great as it looked! The service was wonderful and fast. They accommodate very well and very kind! Their shakes are wonderful as well! Their coffee was great and pancakes were to die for!

I miss the old Pegasus . I know they had to adapt to change but I think what made it special before is gone… I know they sold to younger family members if I remember correctly but when the last owner left the new menu seemed to cater to social media trends and it suddenly felt like a gimmick. I have seen some of the old staff there the last time I visited but I miss the old vibes and old decor, nostalgia gone. Sometimes new isn’t always better.

The diner/restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare primarily eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, salads, sandwiches, soups, burgers, wraps and beverages. I ordered the western omelet with hash browns and toast. The hash browns were salty and overcooked. The toast was hard and chewy. The pancakes were light and fluffy but small. The iced coffee needed more milk and was darker than others. Friendly and helpful staff.
