Staff are great, so friendly and professional. Food was really good and the portions are very big! Loved the cocktails too. Solid option for a lovely and inexpensive dinner and drinks
Came in here with the wife for a little bite and a few drinks. My wife had the mahi mahi with mango, and red onion, also a big salad. I tried a bite and it was delicious. I had the shrimp Mozambique and buffalo wings, both were delicious. It has great atmosphere, and TV screens to watch your favorite sports, and even the background music sounded was pleasant. I highly recommend this place. They have a ladies night on Thursdays, and other Happy Hour specials.
Excellent service, amazing super hot food, flavorful, satisfying & simply delicious! I went there for my birthday and can't wait to come back to it's pleasant and welcoming vibe with a glass of Portuguese wine.
I had a great experience at this place, having come here for a business meeting that lasted only a few minutes, I decided to stay by myself and indulge on some clams on the half shell. The bartender was attentive and made sure I was comfortable while I slurped down my bivalves and washed them back with a beer. Highly recommended, especially for a brief respite from a hectic day.
Great drink menu and seafood selection. Service was excellent and staff were friendly. Prices are very reasonable and the food is pretty tasty. We would definitely go back to Raizes. Cery close to the G train stop and an easy fifteen minutes if you take the L.
Had my daughter's baptism reception here. Food was excellent, delicious, and plentiful. Service staff were on top of everything and friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great night out or a big family event.
Have excellent food and good service. They have happy hour during the week and specials everyday. Their calamari and chicken wings are great. Thursday's are ladies night for drinks and it's also mussels night.
Bad air conditioning. On a hot day we were sweating and because of the heat there were many flies. I like this restaurant, but it has to improve the air-conditioning before I go back.
I LOVE IT HERE! Andrew, Lucia, and the hosts delivery staff are all wonderful. I have MCAS, which makes me allergic and/or sensitive to several things like onions, milk, and hand sanitizers, and my foods have to be very well cooked. The staff at Raizes is always understanding and makes sure to prepare my foods carefully so my health issues are not excerbated.. The last time I was there, I had a great time with my 7th grade teacher, and she loved it as well. 5 🌟 🤩 ⭐️ looking forward to my next meal at Raizes.
Went there a few times for a drink and to watch a hockey game. Place can get busy at times but you can always find a seat at the bar or a table. Food is pretty good with a big selection to choose from. Staff is friendly and serves you fast, prices are good and the restaurant is very nice.
Stopped for a drink here a few times. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and they do a great happy hour !
The appetizers were delicious... love the new charcuterie board. I had the special, chicken penne, and it was nice and creamy. My friends had the 1/2 chicken and 1/2 ribs and the meat was tender. Service was attentive. We had a back table all to ourselves and it was great... it felt very private.
Great food ,nice place highly recommend to eat drink
solid food and chill atmosphere. get the chicken it’s sooo good! also the burgers. highly recommend!
The design is incredible food, offering New England & Azorean Portuguese specialties, fresh made sangria, drinks, service great large portions very reasonable price 👍👍👍
What I got was not what I thought I ordered lol but was fantastically delicious so I was stoked. I ordered pulled pork sliders n thought it was typical bbq pulled pork...but...nope lol. It had no bbq sauce but rather, a sauce that tasted similar to au jus. The pork wasn’t shredded but chunks? It was tender though. Different but delicious - n I’m not typically into food surprises so that really does say a lot! I like what I like n I’m usually very specific. Also, the first time I ordered, I said to call or buzz when near but the woman brought the food upstairs without calling. I felt badly but she was super nice n we laughed about it n I thanked her profusely. That’s serious customer service ha!
The place exceeded my expectations. We found every item to be delicious. The team ensured I received immediate assistance and answered my questions with courtesy. This place succeeds with its menu, its bar and its atmosphere. Raizes Churrascaria has gained our continued business.
Great food tastes even better with attentive, friendly service. The menu highlights are popular for good reason. The diner attention deserves recognition! People filled every available space. Having just become a local, this restaurant is a welcome addition.
You won't find the usual "skip these items" at this place. The food here satisfies taste cravings. The staff delivers outstanding assistance. The flavors impress and the environment enhances them. This spot has won my consistent business.
Despite the critical opinions, this place exceeded my expectations. Tasty dishes come in satisfying portions. This place shows quality through small considerations. Restaurant personnel are consistently helpful. I advocate for this spot without reservation.
The negative comments seemed strange after my excellent meal here. The menu items taste the same each visit. This spot has gradually won me over. Employees create a welcoming atmosphere. This spot captured my interest and I'll definitely revisit.
We love Raizes. It's a great restaurant where everyone is tremendously friendly. They have windows that open up onto the street which makes for a nice atmosphere in the summer and fall. The food is outstanding.
We were hesitant to eat here after reading some mixed reviews, but I’m so glad we decided to give it a try. I started with the grilled octopus, which was absolutely phenomenal, and followed with the churrasco skirt steak that was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The staff, (especially Marcelino), was warm, attentive, and made the experience even better. I would return here again in a heartbeat!
You can order anything on the menu and be happy with your choice. The prices are very reasonable and the food is great. Staff care created the most positive impression. I've tried different dishes with consistent satisfaction. This restaurant demonstrates real expertise.
I didn't know I was discovering my new favorite place that day. The food comes in large amounts, is cooked right, and tastes great. Staff were considerate, our meals came promptly, and all dishes tasted wonderful. Inviting, pleasant, amiable, professional. This restaurant satisfied all my needs.
Passed by for lunch with Mom.. Ample seating.. People by the bar drinking..Beautiful Bartender!! Our waiter was awesome as well.. Nothing to complain bout...WAIT!!! okok the fries from the fish and chips wasn't all that but the fish batter was awesome ..DELICIOUS! Skirt steak was DELICIOUS as well.. Will be back again...
Awesome service, great happy hour deals and cool venue!! We came on mussel mondays and enjoyed 1 red and 1 white one. Both delicious but I preferred the red one, it came with lots of crusty bread 😻 I wouldn’t recommend getting the fries, very small serving. Service was amazing and super friendly / attentive but not annoying Also enjoyed the flourless chocolate cake! Go check it out!!
I came here with my wife for our anniversary dinner. She ordered a sea food platter and I got myself a whole fish. Personally I'm not a fan of clams or shellfish but these were phenomenal, the seasoning was really good and savory, and the shrimps were tender and juicy. The fish was great too – the meat was very nicely grilled, not burned at all, and the gravy on the side prevented from the meat getting too dry. For drinks we ordered sangria and a mojito, those were very yummy too!! I also recommend the flan and the chocolate mousse cake, they were delicious! Overall the portions aren't overwhelming, they're generous but not to the point that you leave the place stuffed and sleepy. I recommend this place and would love to come back again!
Excellent food and service. My only issue is consistency. The first time I visited the food was excellent. I had the same thing the second time I visited, which was just a few weeks apart and it was mediocre at best. If you do go, try the Elderflower Bellini and the flourless chocolate cake. You won't regret it.
Other than the octopus my wife ordered not being to her satisfaction, nothing but rave reviews. I had the mini Rodizio which was tender, delicious, and brought out quicker than the 45 minute warning. We also had a few appetizers for the table (calamari, empanadas, and the shrimp Mozambique) which were amazing. Solidly recommend this place for anyone looking for good food and drink with an hour or two to kill in Greenpoint. Forgot to mention the drinks. Decent selection of beer, and amazing mixed drinks done to your preference. The house sangria was delicious and very buzz inducing.
Great atmosphere, awesome Margaritas, celebrated Taco Tuesday. Great tacos, little heavy on the cilantro; I had the fried oysters and the lamb tacos. They were delicious but had to remove some of the cilantro before I could enjoy the full flavors of the meat. We had the mussels and they were fantastic: the sauce is garlicky, creamy, and incredibly delightful. Highly recommended.
Great spot to grab a post dinner drink and chill. Plenty of seating with a great overall vibe.
My first time here. The atmosphere was nice and calm. The lighting was very dim. The service was great and the hostesses were very friendly. The food was good, I ordered the rodizio. Honestly, I was a little disappointed because I've had the rodizio at other Portuguese restaurants. the selection of meats was incredible with unlimited portions until you give in. Unfortunately not the case here. My date had this mixture of seafood which was excellent. The red sangria was ok. Tasted more like juice than anything else. Overall I'm giving it 3 stars because it wasn't bad for a first-time visit and the sangria and rodizio were not as expected. But the seafood mixture was very very good. Check out the pic.
Really nice Portugese restaurant in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Plenty of fish and seafood dishes. My shrimp pasta was excellent. Good wine and beer selection in an industrial type of setting. The service was excellent. We went there on a cold night and they turned on the heating so we would be comfortable. A really nice experience.
I really wanted to enjoy the food but the food was so bland and lacked flavor, which is shocking considering the cuisine. The service was great, clean bathroom, and decent prices.
I’ve come here a few times now and each time the food was consistent, good, fair priced and service is also always good. Those are the things that will keep me coming back. I love the space and even though we all hate eating outdoors next to a busy road (hopefully we can go indoors) I would recommend this place for sure. Ribs were yummy, brunch has great options and they have kid friendly options. I had to come in and say this restaurant for what it is, a churrascaria is meh. The rodizio is not impressive and would not recommend that and this spot. They have other great items on the menu though.
Oh my... So we went here (Party of 5) for a birthday, I recommended this place. The drinks were decent the Sangria was good, But They took full advantage of the fact that we were all wrapped up in our moment and our bill came to over $1,000 TOTALLY unheard of in all my experiences out. I don't know if I'd recommend, But I'd DEFINITELY keep an eye on the ordering AND the bill AND cross reference.
Loved the food and service was great! Atmosphere is fun and very beer garden like. It was a little cold inside, maybe because it was so big. Only huge drawback was that they charge you if you use a credit card on your bill if over $100... this is totally illegal. Sadly. They don't understand you can't charge more than printed price when customer uses credit card. You CAN print the higher price (credit card price) and reduce it if customer pays cash. It may seem inconsequential but it's wrong and I hate places that do this and think it's legit or blame it on covid..
came here for a dinner break in between an engagement photo shoot and was very pleased. The service was good, we got seated immediately and was served a fresh pot of sangria which was delicious. The food on the other hand I thought was mediocre. I ordered the whole chicken and I must say it was overcooked, it tasted dry. Though the garlic sauce provided helped it was not enough. In addition to this, the chairs were not comfortable at all. I would want to come back to try other parts of the menu as everyone else seemed to enjoy the food but I would try to find another comfortable seat in the house (if it exists)
Was in the area and decided to try this place. The food was good. I got wings, a burger and chocolate cake. The manager and waiter were polite. The bartender came over to collect the check. He came off as slightly rude when he spoke. Over all it was an ok experience.
Food was fine. No flavors really stood out in the soup or chourico dip. The chourico dip was like a super bowl bean-dip appetizer, but mediocre. The mini rodizo was good. The steak was well done and not good flavor. Chicken wrapped bacon was delicious. The other items were over seasoned yet somehow not flavorful. Would not recommend.
Overall a good experience, although the steak was overcooked and very dry. Pork was excellent as was the chicken. Service was very attentive and it's a nice atmosphere. Parking is on the street.
Great place to watch futbol (soccer). They have almost every game you can imagine, from top 5 leagues in Europe to Copa Libertadores. I’ve only had some of their finger food but I am planning on coming back and having a proper sit-down meal soon.
This just ain’t it… Second time I’be been to this spot (the first time we got all you can eat dish and got the meats sweats, though that is not the restaurants fault), and it was once again underwhelming. The wine was good and the atmosphere is solid, but I found the meat over cooked and lacking spice. Generally inflexible as well. Didn’t allow us to order Picaña steak alone, don’t take amex, and added a 4% credit card fee because we spent MORE than 100 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, Mildly annoying. So many better spots in Greenpoint, especially for the price. I’d consider going to the bar to watch a game.
Went with family after burial it was okay, some family says food good but others like myself says it was okay & I just got a burger , no favor bland. So I guess its what u order. Parking difficult 😑
My husband and I love this place. We had our wedding dinner take place there with friends. The only reason we no longer go is because last time we went to get take out and it felt like the waitress expected a tip. They didn't ask us if we wanted the change back they just took the money and we kept waiting. When I asked the girl about it she gave me back the money but I could tell that she wasn't happy about it. I don't know if I am being unreasonable, but I only tip when I sit down and I get table service.
Place itself is very nice looking and staff was very helpful and friendly. The meats of the mini rodizio though were all very overcooked. Everything was very dry. Starters of cod fritters and sardines were a little better but overall the atmosphere and people were far better than the food.
This place's food wasn't at all nothing to speak of..the seafood platter was not at all tasty..the scallops I had were under cooked and soggy..the fish I'm not sure was fresh.I had to have mylanta when I got home..my wife had all you can eat radzio..and the steak was heavily salted...even though it was empty..we should have had a better meal..
Been here before but this time kitchen was closing and staff definitely wanted to leave and it was only 10pm! Drinks sucked and bar tender didn't want to serve us. Hey guys at Raises it's customers who really pay your salary... Don't waste your time or money. There are better places out there.
Wait time for food was outrageously long and the place was pretty dead inside. Only 3 tables of customers including ourselves. Appetizers came out within decent timing but the rest of the meal was about a 45 minute wait, if not longer. Mind you we ordered the meals at the same time as the appetizers. *Fried cauliflower - pretty good. *Chicken drumsticks - delicious! *Rotisserie chicken - good *Skirt steak - ok, but was a bit on the dry side and VERY charred in a bad way on the outside. Chimichurri sauce was delicious though! *All you can eat Rodizio - meat was brought over piece by piece but it took quiet some time for them in between the pieces. First was chicken, which was good. Next was chorizo which although really burnt and charred still was pretty good. The meats afterwards were very lacking. Was looking forward to the lamb but it was dry and not flavorful at all. Asked for another piece of chorizo and waited about 10 minutes until I said forget it, paid and left. Really wanted to like this place. Miiiiggghhtt revisit in the future on a different day/time for the chicken to give em another shot. But very unlikely it will be anytime soon.
We made reservations since we were a large party, not enough menus were out when we got there, once everyone got there we didn't even get water we had to ask, they brought out appetizers fairly quickly but we all came hungry so they went quick, they left us for about 15min before taking all our drink orders, drinks took almost 20-30min to come out then we ordered food (we all got there between 5:45-6pm and didn't get served our actual meals till about 8) And I understand we were large group but there were probably only 4-5 other tables with no more than 2-4 people per table. A lot of us got streak and we were not given any steak knives or new utensils since they took them along with our appetizers plates, no one ever came to get out empty glasses so 2 of us had to get up and grab all the empty glasses and move them to clean off our table since the food could not fit anywhere with all the cups, and a lot of the time we had to get up ourselves to grab things from the bin that had the utensils, napkins etc. This place for a large party was not cheap, especially with those who ordered seafood, most of everything had little to no flavor, very bland, everything from dinner needed salt or something. The only thing 90% of us enjoyed were the appetizers. The actual dinner itself was very underwhelming. I don't see us coming back or recommending this place to anyone.
Got take out captains ultimate fried fish platter it was greasy no tartar or sauces sent. Calamari was fishy and the fillet was undercooked. McDonald fish sandwich is better. Asked for extra gravy on mash potatoes and received no gravy.
We recently had a small event for my sister at Raizes and I have to say it was such a horrible experience. She is a soon to be first time mom and we had her baby shower here. We were put in the back corner, all the lights were off. We felt like we were in a dungeon. The service was poor. The owner made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Please stay away.
I can't believe this place. Came asking to use the bathroom and they refused. They Told me I needed to be a customer first. Decided to buy a coffee and they insisted I pay in cash. They force me to go to an ATM for cash. I found out later that they have no way to accept cash at this restaurant. They have to take money out of their own pockets to make change for the coffee. I'm a black man. I know how to recognize racist practices and behaviors. Smh.
I had to change my review from a 4 star yo a 1 star after terrible service and food tonight. I've ate here about 50 times or so and everything has just gone downhill from the waiting to be greeted/seated to the burnt frozen appetizers to waiting for a soda over 20 minutes and asking 2 different people and after waiting about 30 minutes and 3 people telling me my drink was on its way i was then told they ran out of beer. Like seriously.. I was so disappointed i wanted to leave before my meal was even served and that was a disaster all the fried apps were burnt and rock hard but my fries were greasy and barely cooked and the fish batter was all mushy and fish was soggy. Just a really bad experience all around and then to add icing on top the check had a 3% card fee charged when i was paying in cash and when i asked about it i was told they can take it off it i want to pay in cash and next time it won't happen. I can assure you there will be no next time..
Ate here once with my family and unfortunately had a horrible experience with the service. Ideally i wouldn't want to nitpick these types of things because workers have it tough but the waiter just had a nasty attitude with us the entire team and was not friendly at all. What really set it off is that apparently, even though everyone ordered an entree, we weren't allowed to allow each other to have small bites of others dishes? I guess I can agree it's policy but I'm just surprised a sports bar would make things so difficult lol. Easy way to lose a customer bc I just disagree with something like that. Never returned and never recommended to anyone else.
I had my son's First Communion there 2 yrs ago and was very happy with everything , so when my sister came and asked me , I was thrilled to recommend this place to her. We just had the party today and it was a huge disappointment. First, food was fine, no complaints there, drinks great , bit on a strong side, service ok. We came at 1 o'clock : family and friends celebrating First Communion, and everything was fine until 3: 30 when my sister was told to " wrap it up , because I have 55 people coming in at 4 pm" Mind you we haven't even had the cake or coffee yet. The quests were refused drinks at around 4 pm and and 4:20 we were given a check and basically asked or rather told to leave. When my sister protested , and said this was not part of the original agreement , the lady, Lucia insisted that she told us and end of the conversation. Had we had known this , we would have made party reservation at a different restaurant. She had the audacity to tell us that we didn't leave any deposit, mind you the reservations was made in February, so she had plenty of time to ask for deposit if she wanted one. Overall, not happy at all, unprofessional, the lady Lucia rude and outright nasty and buyer beware of this money grabbing business
We had our baby shower on Saturday, normally the place and owner are inviting and friendly but that day WOW was the only thing I can say! We were pushed to the corner next to the bathroom because of "COVID" but all the tables were full and next to each other for the soccer game. NO waiter was assigned to our party of 20 PEOPLE! (Party was scheduled 1 month earlier ; no coverage?) How crazy is that? The owner took our drink order and half way through the party she disappeared. The mom-to-be (8 months pregnant) had to hunt someone down to reorder drinks for us because the owner catch an attitude when we ordered our drinks from someone else. Few other issues we ALL had (no water for the table, our table wasn't cleared , once again poor service, lights were off , the steaks weren't cooked as ordered (why bother asking if everyone got medium well?) Wanted coffee with my cake. The mom to be had to force a random "staff member" to walk around the table to ask her guests if anyone needed anything. The owner needs to hire a floor manager/ waitress. Unfortunately, we will never book a party here!
Food is garbage! Got food poisoning after I returned inedible calamari and Mussels. Server said, “ there’s nothing wrong with the Mussels, they are fresh today, wanna see the invoice?” My kids (2&4) wouldn’t even eat their French fries…
Ordered fish and chips and received RAW fish. Then the waiter took it and fried it again until it was burnt. The fish was rubbery. Very unpleasant experience and second time it happened. Last year my friend revived raw salmon and was charged for an extra bottle of wine! Unacceptable!!
High expectations, low quality. I can't understand why this location has a >4 star rating. The meat was definitely old and had a bad taste. My assumption is that we got meat which came from the freezer because of our weekday-visit and the low number of guests. A pity because the menu looked good and the waitress was very helpful and friendly.
The most disgusting food which I ever had in my life. Some old Woman show up at the table and she was trying to tell us that we don’t know how to order food (I think she’s the owner) ! never ever again! The only good thing about this place is the bartender she is amazing.
I was kindly greeted by the bartender/waiter. He was very kind and helpful. I ordered chicken strips and fries for the child I was babysitting and chicken wings and cheese fries for myself. The child’s meal was great, but I didn’t like mine. The meat tasted as if it was in the freezer, reheated then doused in bbq sauce, the fries were soggy and topped with many unnecessary ingredients. I told the waiter I didn’t like my meal, he tried to convince me that the meal was good. I asked for a manager, a tall white older woman with grayish/blonde she came over and asked me what was wrong with the meal. I explained to her that I didn’t like the meat, it didn’t taste fresh and I didn’t enjoy the fries either ( I had only eaten on piece of each). She told me that no one complains about the food, she makes and sells it all the time. I explained to her that I’m a customer and everyone has different taste buds and that particular plate didn’t favor mine. She told me that my reasoning wasn’t good enough and she didn’t like my attitude. I told her I wasn’t going to pay for something I didn’t like or eat, she then ordered me pay for the food that was eaten and leave the establishment. As I awaited the check from the bartender, the manager came back to my table, and starting speaking to the 3 year old child accompanying me, telling her to not be like me, to not scam restaurants. I quickly told her to not speak to the child, she said replied that she heard me say something to the child and that I should teach her right. She then told me that although I don’t think I was, that I am lower than low. I was treated like a seconds class citizen, offered the worst customer experience as well as being insulted and humiliated. I was talked down on in-front on the child I was babysitting, even the toddler was addressed by the rude manager. I don’t suggest that anyone of color invest their time or money into that business. The racist manager even attempted to belittle my character. She’s clearly not fit to run a restaurant or communicate with customer. I had an extremely disappointing experience and will never spend my money at this ingrate business!
I'm portuguese living in New York. We ordered the mini rodizio which was incredibly over cooked and the meat was definitely super hard, frozen and flavorless. The girl serving was so nice and I told her about it. She told her boss. Her boss didn't care only told her it's because it was another type of meat called alcatra. Nice try. I'm portuguese and I know alcatra, which is also supposed to be tender not hard. I was specially surprised because portuguese people are soo prideful about their food and the owner didnt even came apologize or talk to us about it. Just kept chatting around. Very disappointed that this place doesn't care about the quality of their food or ingredients. I definitely don't recommend at all!!! It's actually a shame to represent my country's food so poorly
Was denied access here because of my SD. My task trained golden retriever service dog, in his vest, was refused entry, therefore I was refused entry. I was told by staff that they needed to see his “card”. No such thing exists for a working dog. Staff would not relent despite me patiently explaining this. The ignorance is astounding.
I've been dying to go to this place, but it took them 30 minutes to seat us. Once we sat we had to go get our own menus and still had to wait 35 mins to have someone take our order. Once we got our drinks we decided to leave due to the already negative experience. We then asked for the check and then was given attitude by the older lady judging us for ordering 2 drinks while sitting at a table.
Didn’t even get to try the food or order a drink because clearly the staff didn’t want customers today. 2 of the guys working the bar refused to let us sit at a table (was not reserved) because it had 6 seats and we were only 5 people, resulting in putting us in a smaller table where we could clearly not comfortably fit. We were told “if we don’t want it we could leave”. No wonder the place was literally empty!
The food was the worst have ever had. They served cold mashed potatoes, an unseasoned salmon. I felt like vomiting after eating the salmon. The only thing that was decent was the waiter. Never again.
I had the worst experience ever! At 1 PM on a Sunday, we were told that the barbecue would be ready by 2 PM, but the restaurant specializes in barbecue and didn't have a schedule that could support that. We then asked for the lunch specials instead, but they simply said "no." It was a very disappointing experience, and I would consider it the worst in Brooklyn.
Terrible service. Had to get our own menus after 30 mins of no one coming to us. Took another 15min after that. Not even that busy. We just left
First and last time. Party of 12, 4 of us had the rodizio. Chicken was good but as soon as the meat was served, it tasted like old meat and did not smell fresh at all. 4 of us confirmed the same. Informed the manager and was basically told too bad. No one complained about it so it is what it is per the manager. He did not offer any type of replacement whatsoever. Do yourself a favor skip this place.
I am Unhappy with my visit to this restaurant. I ordered crab cakes in the restaurant and two meals to go. I requested chicken and shrimp meal with sauteed Kale. They handed me my food wrapped to go, I later discovered collard greens with garlic instead of kale. When opening the second meal I discovered half of a container with black beans and a full container of rice (rice is cheap and plentiful). I spent $75 there on my first visit, called to let them know my issue with the orders and the employee there ADMITTED they may not have had what I ordered and took liberties by SUBSTITUTING SIDE DISHES. HE NEVER OFFERED TO GIVE ME WHAT I ORDERED OR REIMBURSE ME THE COST OF THE SIDE DISH.
My experience wasn't the best at this restaurant and here's why. I made a reservation here for a family get together and we were all supposed to have dinner together. We had about 20 people but 2 extra came. There was not enough chairs for everyone at the table they set up, so I kindly asked the owner for a few extra. She was very upset and started to yell at me. She told me they don't have any extra chairs and it isn't her problem but mine because we have 2 extra people. The only solution she thought of was to seperate us. Half of my family had to sit all the way across the restaurant. After, we were waiting on our food for 2 hours. A few family members were frustrated because it was taking so long and left. The kids were also starting to get annoyed so they asked our waiter when it will be served, he said soon. It got to the point I was so upset, so I asked the owner about our food. She said we never ordered anything... 10 minutes later AFTER 2 HOURS OF WAITING! our food magicaly was served. Keep in mind, the other half of my family that had to sit across the restaurant, ordered their food at the same time as us and received it much faster than where I sat. Additionally, this restaurant is heavily under staffed. They had a total of 3 waiters and one of them was the owner. They don't have extra chairs and they don't have extra waiters. That day the restaurant was filled with people, reservations back to back. I would like to shout out one of the waiters though, Benny F. He was awesome. I felt bad for him though because of how unorganized the restaurant was. He understood the problems we had and tried his best to help. He was also great with the kids. When the kids started to get upset because the food was taking so long, he was really kind to them unlike the owner. I was also upset with the bartender, one of my family members had a few beers. The bartender was upset for no reason and said he was drinking and ordering more too fast. We were all there just to have a good time. After the bartender said that, my family member told him it's none of his business how much he drinks. The bartender is here for him and his job is to serve him. The bartender replied and said it's his business, overall he was nasty just like the owner. In addition, the restaurant knew they had alot of reservations that day. Some of the menu items were not available such as filet mignon. Me and all of my family members are not recomending this place to anyone, there are many other restaurants around the area, I'm sure their owners are much nicer.
Visited on Super Bowl 2/8, bartender changed our tips from 20% to $20. Shady business
If I could give zero stars, I would. We came here hoping for a good time, but instead got ignored for most of our visit. After a long wait just to order, the staff made it clear we weren’t a priority. The final insult? Being asked to leave our table because we “only ordered two drinks.” Apparently, customer courtesy isn’t on the menu here. Save your time, money, and dignity — there are far better places in the city that actually appreciate their customers
