Location incantevole, se volete godervi un pranzo indimenticabile fermatevi qui! Immerso nel lago, abbiamo respirato serenità e natura. Ambiente cordiale e accogliente. La cucina è ottima, piatti studiati ad arte con accostamenti ben riusciti, condita da un pizzico di creatività e passione, arricchita dall'esperienza di Giacomo e dai suoi due figli Ismaele e Rebecca, veri professionisti della cucina e dell'ospitalità, meritevoli di essere recensiti. Abbiamo cenato in questa location suggestiva ed elegante, la più elegante di Morcote, ma più che una cena é stata un viaggio, un esperienza. In due abbiamo preso due antipasti due primi e due secondi perché la curiosità era tanta, dalla carne al pesce, dalla pasta agli gnocchi e dobbiamo dire che lo chef ha superato le aspettative, un incontro tra sapori guidati da un ottima materia prima e dall’esperienza dello chef che ha deliziato i nostri palati dall’antipasto al dolce. Non si può descrivere ma solo provare. Uno staff gentile, disponibile e preparato vi guiderà se sarete indecisi tra le buonissime proposte del menu. Diciamo quindi una tappa obbligatoria se si è in visita a Morcote. Ci ritornerò sicuramente.

Pranzo in famiglia, Ravioli con ripieno di zucca e spolverata di tartufo, tagliata con funghi porcini e tartufo, lasagne, frittura di lago, ravioli con gamberi e caviale, torta della nonna ,(più o meno scritto come ricordo) tutto molto molto buono e non da meno la cortesia e la gentilezza delle ragazze che ci hanno servito al tavolo, gustato su una bella terrazza sul lago .
Locale molto piccolo ma gestito bene. Servizio cortese, menu limitato ma quindi fresco, ottima posizione. Prezzi svizzeri ma ragionevoli.

Sabato a pranzo in questa splendida osteria. Una terrazza fantastica direttamente sul lago con autentico cibo italiano. Purtroppo siamo stati testimoni di un episodio alquanto spiacevole, due ospiti cercavano di allontanarsi senza pagare e ci siamo sentiti in dovere di avvertire il proprietario che con garbo è discrezione ha risolto il problema. Noto con dispiacere che i signori hanno tenuto fede alle loro minacce di una cattiva recensione in quanto hanno pubblicamente richiesto uno sconto perché senza contanti a disposizione. Siamo solidali con tutto lo staff e promettiamo che al più presto ritorneremo.
Un posto incantevole! Vista spettacolare sul lago, servizio impeccabile e titolare super premuroso. Il cibo è eccellente, si sente la mano di uno chef preparato. Esperienza top, tornerò sicuramente!
Ottimo ristorante sul lago di Lugano! Consigliatissimo per mangiare ottimi piatti della cucina italiana o gustare fantastici drink sulla loro terrazza vista lago! Staff gentilissimo e super cordiale, da provare assolutamente! Consiglio di assaggiare il loro polpo che è davvero una bomba! Ci tornerò presto.

Abbiamo pranzato su una terrazza dalla vista mozzafiato. Piatti di ottima qualità, gli gnocchetti al pesto erano freschissimi e davvero deliziosi. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, un ringraziamento speciale a Ismaele per la sua gentilezza e professionalità. Torneremo sicuramente!
Abbiamo pranzato di domenica e ci siamo trovati bene; personale gentile e molto curato d'aspetto, location bellissima e tranquilla, locale pulito e attenzione alla sanificazione corretta dei tavoli. Per quanto riguarda le portate, i due primi che abbiamo preso erano entrambi molto buoni e i dolci, anche se non di propria produzione ma di una pasticceria esterna, freschi e buonissimi. Non ci è piaciuto il pane ma siccome tutto il resto è stato ottimo (compreso il caffè) merita senz'altro il punteggio massimo!
Incantevole domenica, grazie. Pranzo e servizio eccellente. Dall'aperitivo, con stuzzichini sfiziosi da provare, al pranzo con alici fritte, gnocchi vari gusti, polpo alla griglia tenerissimo oppure tartar di manzo, eravamo in quattro e tutti soddisfatti. Il tutto su un incantevole terrazza sul lago. Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo quanto prima.
So che una recensione totalmente positiva suscita perplessità ma, credetemi, le cinque stelle le merita pienamente: non mi soffermo neanche a parlare della stupenda location sul lago ma quello che merita un elogio sono i piatti veramente ottimi e affatto scarsi. Dalla tartare agli gnocchi, passando per il polpo alla griglia alla frittura di alici, tutto veramente ottimo e preparato "come Dio comanda." E tutto a prezzi da media svizzera. Da tornarci e ritornarci.
Un posto incantevole, da sogno! Impossibile non apprezzare la cucina italiana gnocchi cacio e pepe, la loro famosissima luganighetta…la tartare con burrata freschissima! il servizio è di altissimo livello, il personale cordiale e preparato per tutte le esigenze. Consiglio

Splendida cornice per un pranzo speciale: ottimo cibo, perfetta accoglienza e una terrazza stupefacente coperta da una glicine rigogliosa. Ambiente tranquillo e rilassato grazie alla gentilezza dei proprietari che sanno creare una bella armonia in accordo col paesaggio circostante.

I had a wonderful experience at Oysteria La Terrazza sul Lago in Morcote. The views alone are absolutely breathtaking – dining by the lake made the whole atmosphere feel special. Our waitress was incredibly helpful, attentive, and provided excellent customer service. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was to our liking, and the chef even came out personally to bring us some extra spicy chili oil, just in case we wanted to turn up the heat. The highlight of the meal for us was the carbonara pasta with truffle cream – rich, flavorful, and simply beyond delicious. Combined with the phenomenal views and warm service, this place made for a truly memorable dining experience. My wife and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Morcote!

We came across this beautiful restaurant by the lakeside while exploring Morcote. The waiter greeted us immediately and even took the time to split up a large table for us so we could sit right by the lake. The staff was wonderful from start to finish. Me and my partner both ordered the summer truffle macaroni carbonara and it was delicious, one of the best dishes of our trip. This is a perfect lunch spot for anyone in the area. Highly recommended.
Yesterday on 22nd July 2025 I went here for lunch. I was served by Ismaele and he was friendly and attentive. The foods came pretty fast and they were tasty. This is my second visit after October 2023. I will come back again. Thank you.
Literal gem in Morcote. Perfect pasta dishes. Excellent atmosphere. Quite little hideaway. Cannot recommend enough.
A very nice restaurant with incredibly friendly staff. We had an amazing lunch, starting with the beef tartare and sausage, both of which were delicious. The meal ended on a high note with an excellent tiramisu. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I only ordered an aperol but it was the best I've ever had! So refreshing and nice, and a good price considering how big the glass was. The service was quick and friendly too. I had a nice small conversation with the waiters. Unfortunately, I didn't taste the food here.
Very friendly restaurant staff - definitely tourist friendly. Amazing views from the restaurant sitting area - literally next to the lake. Food was equally good - we got the bruschetta for appetisers, mixed fried fish and cacio e pepe gnocchi for mains, and tiramisu and berry cheesecake for desserts. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
