This daaamm place is definitely the best burgers 🍔 in town hands down amazing place great service and you can forget about the Chilli omg was simple delicious 😋 you have to go a try this place good prices definitely a comeback I actually when back on my stay was super good no disappointment at all!!

This place is amazing!! We have been trying a lot of burger places in the area since we moved here….this one is at the top of the list!! The only bad thing to say about this place is the chairs are just awful….if you have back issues you might want to do a call in and pick up. As much as we enjoyed our food….we will not be able to go back in to dine…..I barely could sit in the chair long enough to eat….had to get up and walk around outside while we waited for our order to cook. The food is amazing!! Hope they will get some better chairs so us people with back issues can have chairs with some support !! EDIT TO THIS REVIEW They did get some chairs with cushion bottoms….so that are trying! It was not the bottom of the chairs that are the real prob with us people with back issues…..but the lack of support in those very old chairs. I do so appreciate them working on the prob….but back folks will still want to do a carry out! We will go back for dine in….but only because they do have two bar stools that have some back support….so we pray each time that nobody is on them!!

Margie's Bar and Grill was originally established by my grandmother. Before she died she sold out to a couple who then later sold out to their son. He still owns it today. I've never been there before but I can tell you 49 years was worth the wait. The couple who owns it are friendly as can be and it feels like a family atmosphere anyone would enjoy. I had the suicide Burger and oh my goodness I ate half of it and took the rest of home. It should be an aggieland tradition to eat at least once while you're here going to school. I know Margie, my grandmother is looking down smiling and so proud!!

Wow what a burger! Never had egg on my burger before this place, the suicide had an amazing pallet of flavor. The service was amazing, serving sizes were on point, and the atmosphere was extremely welcoming and down to earth. All around, my new favorite burger place in College Station!

Atmosphere: Seated towards the end of downtown Bryan, one may miss it but upon looking closey, one will be greeted with the word Margie's on the front of the building. I enjoyed that the building captivated the same look as the rest of downtown Bryan and it resonated once you entered. The bar is on the left side with an array of drinks that you can choose from glass soft drinks to canned drinks. There is ample seating but may be difficult with bigger groups. The signage of Karaoke was present at the front and the jukebox in the back was an indication of some good times ahead. Service: Service was attentive the moment we stepped foot in the door. We were immediately greeted and asked where we wanted to be seated. After being seated, we were then given the menu, in which she gave us time to look over the menu. Upon ordering the food, the food came out in a short time. Quality: Let's just say one of the better burgers in not only Bryan, but College station as well. I would put them in the top 3 best burgers in the area. Today I had the In-between and it didn't disappoint. It has so much flavor and the egg made to my liking sealed the deal. What could possibly be better, how about.....the best comeback of all-time, fries and tater tots are now back!!! If you have never tried these burgers, do yourself a favor and treat yo-self to any of their plethora of burgers...and don't forget the tots or fries.

This is a very nice pub on an old style main Street. Inside was very clean and did not smell like a bar. Waitress and cook were very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The Borger and onion rings were great. Fresh meat for the burger and really good beer batter type onion rings.

This is one of those local spots you go for the vibes and to have a beer. You won't complain about the burger, it will hit the spot and satisfy but it's not going to stand out from the next place. Fries, standard crinkle cuts most likely not fresh cut. Pickle chips, same as the fries... They're pickle chips but there no different than the next place down the street.

This place served a really tasty burger. This is where my grandfather wanted to eat lunch for his 86th birthday. Margie's has a long and unique history, and my grandfather has been going there his whole life, literally! It did take a long time to get our food, but it is technically a bar. We had a large party, and there were only 2 staff (one was taking orders and the other was cooking as fast as he could) and there were also other tables to be waited on so we didnt really mind the wait. Overall, we had fun and enjoyed our food.

First time at Margie’s today. Got the double meat and double cheese burgers with fries and onion rings. First impression was good, friendly service and clean, albeit very smoky. Water was topped up promptly, and the owners (I think!) were attentive while not being overbearing - we did not feel pestered at all, which is great! We asked for the burgers rare, something new for them, and they were about as rare as possible for a small patty - great job. I found the exterior of the burger lacked texture, it was all a bit mushy, this may be because it’s so hard to get the center a medium/medium rare on small burgers. Adding an onion ring to the patty partly corrected the texture, but would work better if it they weren’t breaded. Bun was great - didn’t break apart, grilled and buttery. Mustard good, onions great, found the pickles too thick and it made a strange pickle to meat ratio in most bites. I think the burgers could be a little more seasoned, but the cheese was really good. There is no point getting anything less than the double, this is a 2oz per patty burger. We were disappointed with the sides. The onion rings are now breaded, not as good as the battered ones shown in most pictures and came a bit burnt - the interior had gone mushy too, and the fries were pretty bland and a bit burnt. We left most of them, which is sad as the fries alone are almost $4 which seems excessive for pretty bad frozen fries. Overall, if the sides are changed and improved, we would return and try the more modern burgers to see how those are too.

Great burger, seams to be a family owned establishment that the whole family participates in. My server was great, took my order, and kept my glass full. The burger was fresh and tasty. I'd definitely go back again

Pretty cool little place. I'm not a big fan of greasy burgers, hence the 3 stars. I had the half pound burger and fries. Flavor was ok, but the buns were just dripping with grease. If you like Top of the Hill burgers, it's sort of like their's just not quite as good. The fries were ok.
