I stopped by Cocohodo and really enjoyed it. The walnut pastries were warm, soft, and delicious. The corn latte was surprisingly good too — sweet and nutty. Such a great combination!

The coffee tastes absolutely amazing. The freshly baked walnut cookies were also fantastic. The grain smoothie is a bit sweet, but it has a unique flavor unlike anywhere else.

Cocohodo holds a special place as one of our family's favorite snack spots. Today, we swung by to pick up a Cocohodo box to gift to a friend. Opting for a small box with 36 pieces for the gift and a smaller bag of 10 pieces for ourselves, we patiently waited about 15 minutes for our warm, freshly cooked Cocohodo. The place was bustling with activity as we waited, and we also noticed they offer a variety of beverages for purchase.

This place is a solid AYCE KBBQ place. I bring my people over to this place whenever I want to have good time. The meat quality is unbelievable at this price.

They have a Happy Hour Menu that's $24.99 from Mon- Friday until 4pm and I'm here for it! It comes with 8 different meats from the kitchen and a bunch more on the buffet belt. All the meats were so tasty and quality was so good! Our favorite this time is their bulgogi, chicken, and pork belly! They changed our grill very frequently and service was amazing! Will definitely be back.

Discovered there is always room for SHIN RAMYUN! Gangnam Station OC in Buena Park, CA has to be one of the best spots for AYCE KBBQ in terms of quality, variety, service and atmosphere. I enjoy how spacious the restaurant is and how I can instantly I get food from the meat bar. Their salad dressing is a creamy sesame dressing and I love it. Even on the lowest tier, everyone is going to find something they are looking forward to grilling and enjoying. Don’t forget at the end, request for Shin Ramyun! My tummy made some space and it was delicious! I loved how I could add the veggies from the bar, leftover banchan and cooked grilled meats into the ramyun. It was sooo good!

Gangnam Station in Buena Park is hands down one of the best Korean BBQ spots around! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, perfect for both casual dinners and celebrations with friends. The meat quality is top-notch—fresh, well-marinated, and cooked just the way you like it right at the table. The side dishes are generous and constantly refilled, adding the perfect balance to the rich BBQ flavors. Service was fast, attentive, and friendly, servers checked in often without being overbearing, making sure our grill was always ready for the next round. Prices are very fair for the quality and amount of food you get, and the all-you-can-eat option is definitely worth it if you’re hungry. Parking is also convenient, which makes the experience even better. If you’re craving authentic Korean BBQ with great vibes and excellent service, Gangnam Station Buena Park is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Every time I come here I’m pretty impressed. Their meat quality is really good especially for AYCE. you have to get their $40 option since you have so many more meats. I love the beef tongue and their short rib. Their sides are also so good and they have a whole self serve section full of special marinated meats. I like the one with pineapple and don’t sleep on the pork belly. If you’re coming for a la carte I recommend their spicy cold noodles. Huge portion and so refreshing.

Buena Park has no shortage of great Korean food, but this spot stands above the rest. We love how big and spacious it is, so they can accommodate big groups or smaller parties easily easily. Despite how busy it got during lunch time, the servers were so on top of changing out our grill after each of the meats. They have several a la carte items, along with 3 options for AYCE. We opted for the medium tier N B, which includes the self serve meat bar and several premium tier meats from the kitchen - around 50 items total. Of course it came with several side dishes and salad too, along with a tray of dipping sauces. When the meat came out we were both in a bit of disbelief- it's so rare to find such high quality at an ayce spot for only $40 per person! Perfect fat ratios, and seasoned just right. The butter garlic chicken we tried from the self service buffet was some of the best chicken we've ever had at a kbbq restaurant before, no joke. My faves might just be the galbi, wagyu beef belly and ribeye though. To cool off after our meat feast we shared a bowl of spicy cold noodles, which were only $10 to add on to the ayce option. It was the perfect end to our meal.

Great service! Unlimited yummy meats to choose from at the all-you-can-eat bar. We also enjoyed ordering the seafood items from the menu as well as the premium cuts. This is unlimited as well. We had a great experience and love the ambiance too. It was a nice touch to include spicy ramen as part of the meal too.

Had a fantastic experience at Gangnam Station in Buena Park! The staff was super welcoming and attentive, and the meat quality did not disappoint. We got Menu B for the beef tongue - totally worth it. GET THE SHIN RAMYUN AT THE END!! Plenty of parking available in the parking lot. I would recommend to definitely go before the dinner rush to avoid the potential long wait times!

We came here on a Sunday around noon and were seated right away. We went with Menu A and ordered plenty of brisket, beef belly, and short rib finger—everything was delicious! One of the best parts of this spot is the self-serve meat bar, which offers a great selection, including various marinated chicken and pork belly. The spicy chicken, in particular, was incredibly tender and tasty! I also loved that the salad and kimchi were self-serve, allowing you to refill as needed. Speaking of kimchi, theirs was easily one of the best I’ve had at an AYCE spot—so flavorful! They also offer a nice variety of banchan and are generous with their rice paper! They enforce their time limit, and will give a heads-up for last call on kitchen orders while still allowing you to finish your meal without feeling rushed. Overall, a great experience—I’d definitely come back!

The walnut pastry is the their staple. Come here for that and nothing else, you wont be disappointed. Friendly staff and quick service, albeit it was a quiet night when I came. Plenty of parking around in the lot. Lots of other interesting Korean joints in the area as well; afterall, this area has the largest dwelling of koreans outside of Koreatown in downtown LA.

I never quite know what to say about a place that seems to do its thing well but which I nonetheless don't really like. Usually I just don't review it. However, my wife really likes this place and I have to say that if I liked walnut pastries with red bean filling, this is where I'd go. The young staff are quick to smile, and they serve the pastries fresh out of the oven, sometimes so hot you have to wait to eat them. I always have such a positive experience here that I usually try to forget my preference and have a bite anyway. For a moment that warm, sweet smell brings me in every time. Then, alas, I remember I'm simply not fond of red bean, and then I let my wife finish the rest. In addition to the little bags we buy, they also wrap the pastries up in really nice gift boxes, so there is that as well.

AYCE Kbbq spot. Some items must be ordered from the kitchen but there is a self service section for green salad, plain pork belly and marinated beef or bulgogi. A bit of a wait depending on the time you arrive. Overall better quality but it’s a case of getting what you pay for: they are priced a bit higher than others. Noise levels can vary but it was loud for me.

Nice vibes. Service could’ve been a bit better, we had to flag down most of the time. Meats were okay. We might have gotten there when they had those meats for some time. They tasted a bit old. Not in a concerning way, but in a, “damn, they’re probably getting a fresh shipments of meat tomorrow😅”. Nonetheless still a good spot to try out if my assumption is correct!

It’s mid tier. Theres nothing too bad about the place, or anything that makes it stand out. The side dishes weren’t flavorful, and kimchi wasn’t too fresh. The meat selection itself didn’t seem to be the best cuts. The way it setup is very confusing as you have to get certain items from the bar then order certain meats from the server. To be honest, it’s an average Korean bbq place that is WAAAAYYY over priced… for that price you can go to any number of places 100 yards from it and get better quality for a cheaper total… I don’t see it being a lasting restaurant in the area.

Food was great! Meat quality very good, love the variety of ways to pay and options to choose. However, the service was absolutely awful. They were severely understaffed on a Friday afternoon, making it nearly impossible to order any extra meats. Our main server seemed to intentionally avoid the table at all costs, and when we did manage to order something he acted like it was a personal insult. At one point we waited over 10 minutes for a replacement grill. We also had to ask for the same foods several times because the server(s) had forgotten or just didn't care. After all this, they included an automatic 18% gratuity, and have the gall to include an option for an extra tip.

This place used to be packed with people but not anymore! They used to put 1/2 shell of walnut on each cocohodo ball! But now it decreased to 1/4. No wonder people abandoning! Please don’t play with food! It’s the fastest way to fail the business! Increase the price but not decrease the quality! So disappointed! Used to be everyone’s favorite!

The food was decent. The meat bar was different in a good way. Grills were dirty. So was some of the silverware on the table. The servers were great. But the host, the one with the deep voice shouldn't be working with customers. He should be working in the back somewhere. His attitude towards us was just condecending.

No greetings and no thank you's.... very poor customer service... was getting a few bags of the snacks, but left feeling unwelcomed and unappreciated.. taste alone nowadays are not really going to make customers want to come back when there are 5 employees and not one of them said hello or thank you... really really wish I hadn't gone there. Spent $75.... There was a response from this business 3 hrs after I posted comments. No apologies about poor services but gave explanations about their machine malfunctioning. Perhaps they were preoccupied, but if the owner took time to respond to a negative review, perhaps the first thing to do is address the complaint, not give reasons for poor service. The apology didn't come across as genuine. I took off another star.

One of the weirdest encounters with a human being ive ever had 4/13/24 Saturday we walk in and order I asked for a plastic spoon the girl at register straight ignores me and throws the plastic spoon on the counter. Clearly this child does not want to be here. When we asked if there's a key to the bathroom they said no, I see nobody come in or out for like 30 mins. I asked the same girl again and she gives me attitude and opens the door. Like what.

I came here with three friends on a weekend, and we politely requested a booth. We were told no, even though there was an empty booth available at the time. Throughout our dinner, that same booth and several others remained empty or were later given to other parties. While we were eating, we noticed multiple booths opening up, yet we were never offered one. I don't understand how this place is being managed. The service was disappointing and the customer service was even worse. A simple accommodation could have made the experience better, but instead it felt dismissive and poorly handled. This is exactly why I won't be returning to Gangnam.

TO THE MANAGER AND OWNER: Before responding to this comment, make sure you READ it CAREFULLY and COMPLETELY from beginning to end. Do not reply with generic apologies, excuses, or scripted responses. Address every single point clearly and honestly — because this situation was caused by your policy and your staff, not the customer. On December 24, we dined at your restaurant with 4 adults and a 5-month-old baby. Without proper explanation, you automatically added an 18% gratuity, treating us as 5 guests. Let me be absolutely clear: My baby did NOT eat, did NOT drink water, did NOT use your tissues, did NOT use your chair, did NOT use your restroom, and received absolutely NO SERVICE from your restaurant. Before we were seated, your staff clearly stated “table for four.” So explain this: how do you justify counting my infant as a paying guest? What kind of business does this? Is this what you consider ethical service in the hospitality industry? Is your goal to operate a restaurant, or to force gratuity and extract free money from customers under misleading conditions? Even more unacceptable — the bill itself only charged for 4 adults, yet you still had the audacity to calculate gratuity as if we were 5 people. So I will ask directly: Does your owner believe they deserve guaranteed tips for careless and poor service? Our water was never refilled. Was it because gratuity was already included, so your staff felt no obligation to properly serve us, assuming the tip was guaranteed? This is NOT our first time dining at an all-you-can-eat restaurant while bringing our baby, and no other restaurant has ever done something this dishonest, unreasonable, and misleading. This was a shameful, frustrating, and extremely disappointing experience, especially for what should have been a pleasant visit. To make matters worse, the floor was slippery and the ceiling was leaking, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and customer safety. This experience was embarrassing and unacceptable. I sincerely hope this happened only to us, because if this is how your restaurant routinely operates, it clearly shows that forced gratuity is valued more than genuine service and customer respect.

Honestly the worst service I’ve ever experienced… and I’m not the type to leave negative reviews at all. Been in the food and bev. industry for all my life and never have I ever experienced something so appalling. Majority of the servers were decent, but one particular server just ruined the entire experience for us. He just seemed like he didn’t want to be there at all and just threw the food/check on the table. Even if we expressed our thanks, he never gave any acknowledgement. He wasn’t wearing a name tag like the others, which I assumed is to avoid accountability. Overall, I think management should really consider who they hire as that’s very important to the longevity of a business. No matter how great the food is, if the service is terrible, nobody would want to come back. Kevin and Chris were amazing though!

We came here for dinner on Saturday and chose 39.99 tier. First, the table was sticky and the seat had unknown liquid on it. Second, the service was terrible. The server was too rush and busy. Third, the meat was not good at this price level. 2/3 of the beef brisket were fat??? The steak was dry, like chewing rubber. Would not recommend this place.
