It's been quite some time since I've been here for dinner 🍽 I was not disappointed staff is good and so is the food
Great place to have family dinner. Steak was great, everyone was happy with their food.
This was my first time going to Claim Jumpers. It was a rather long wait for us to be seated, and even then, they had to sit our group at 2 tables. The tables were next to each other. The establishment is fairly loud, we could still talk with our table but it's definitely noisy. I got steak and added lobster. The steak was awesome. The lobster lacked any real flavor. The cream cheese cake was delicious.
Great restaurant with great food and service. Im from Sacramento and our claim jumper closed down quite a while ago. It was really nice getting to experience it again with the killer mozzarella sticks. If you live in this area dont take it for granted!
Love it they've added new items to the menu I highly recommend the salmon Florentine, and lobster BLT (photo not shown) and check out the new drinks I have this wagon something it was delicious I had to get a few
Good food we always love the Thanksgiving menu! Only flaw was they ran out of the sweet potatoe casserole 😢 Recommend having a reservation, long wait without one.
Food was great service was great it was quite a wait after visiting knotts berry farm but food was well worth it...
Hi. The food was good I ordered a clam soup and a pink lemonade , I just got the soup never got the pink lemonade. How can a server forget what you order when they write it down? And@ the end it was included in my bill. I had to tell him that he never brought my pink lemonade , He just said I can bring it now, at the end.
We came in with a large party. Jessica was our server.. she was very patient with us and took care of our party very well. She was very patient and understanding that we weren’t ready since we were still waiting for one more person. She went above and beyond as to cutting the birthday cake and serving it to us.. and even splitting our bill seven ways. Thank you, Jessica!
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Would certainly go again. Great job, Claim Jumper. Grabbed the Widowmaker burger, and found it surprisingly balanced. Fries were really tasty, too. Price was decent, as going at lunch time shaved off some coinage. If I ordered it again, I might add a fried egg just to make it more heart attack inducing, but otherwise no notes. Staff was friendly and checked in on us often. Was informative regarding my myriad of questions. Only downside was a lack of easily available parking. Given we went during quiet time, I'm unsure how bad that would get during the evening rush.
I can't rave enough about the meal we just had here. Our server, Emily, was awesome, and the hostess, Ari, even remembered us from the night before when we came in for drinks. The atmosphere is perfect and I wish so much we had a place like this where we live. But the food was the best part! Those steak tips might be the best I've ever had, and I've never had escargot before--I can't believe I actually like them! I can't wait till I'm back in town and can come back!
Such a wonderful bar/restaurant and I love the aesthetic!! came here to celebrate my cousin’s birthday, we had reservations at 7:45, there were 8 of us and we were seated right away! Our server Ali was so sweet, patient and attentive, thanks to her amazing hospitality I will definitely be coming back!
Due to a show nearby being canceled the wife and I had a gap in the nights festivities and they were able to acomadate us 2 hours early! The hostess was very attentive on the phone and welcomed us to come at that very moment. When we arrived we immediately were impressed with the ambience as they really put thought into this place. Emily was our server and did an amazing job. She came by often and was honest after a system error with the POS system. She made sure to immediately correct the issue and apologized. We will definitely start to include The Cauldron into our activities when we are in Anahiem
What an incredible experience. We cannot believe it took us this long to finally come here, but we are so glad we did. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing, full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The Krampus inspired holiday decor was creative, festive, and unlike anything we have seen before. It made the whole experience feel magical. Our daughter came with us to see the decor and loved it so much she asked if we could come back once a month. Our server and her supporting staff were outstanding, friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which truly elevated the entire experience. We are officially fans now and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend for incredible food, exceptional drinks, and a one of a kind holiday atmosphere.
Stumbled upon this gem by chance and had a wonderful time! The food and drinks were amazing. Everything about this place is great. The staff were fun and super friendly. The food and drinks were so good. We spent a little over $20 per person with drinks. The wait for a table was said to be 45min and we only waited 10min probably. Definitely recommend this place!
So much fun and something spooky in every corner. Great food. Great drinks. Fantastic service, and so much fun. Go after dark and watch the walls. You just might see the shadow of a witch, or a cat, or a spider. So much fun. Make sure you have reservations. During the Halloween season, waits can be hours long. We shared the cheese board and had a couple of seasonal cocktails. It was a fun night.
We stopped in here randomly trying to find someplace different to try. We could not have been more impressed. The witch feels were strong in here. The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. The food was fantastic, honestly equal to or better than a lot of fine dining French restaurants. a little bit tapas-like, so try a bunch of different things. The drinks were very good, fun, and really had a lot of variety. Everything is super reasonably priced. Four drinks, two plates, and an intro got us to ~$100. Ridiculously well priced for the qualiry. The ambiance and decor was top notch, over the top witchy-woo, and we loved it. Definitely come and give this place a try, but maybe leave the kiddos at home. This place is small and there is a whole vibe here. Check it out.
I brought my sister here for her Bachelorette weekend. We booked the secret room for the evening. We decorated the room, lit some candles, and then one of the hot servers turned out to be the manager, and we had to blow out the candles. They did, however, try to keep our vibe going and brought over some electric candles ✨️ Staff is pretty here, they're all friendly. Bathrooms are interestingly decorated. Boys bathroom has only one room. The food is WOW. We had steak tartare as a starter, super yum. The French onion soup isn't good. The bourguignon is AMAZING (don't expect it to have noodles). The chicken crepe 😍 The escargot was also delicious. All of the sweets we had were very good - both crème brûle flavors were incredible. Decor was so cool & very witchy. I recommend having a witch themed-attire to really amp up the energy. The drinks were creative and tasty. I drank Cerridwen's drink. I didn't realize I loved cherry until then. Their long islands are dangerous ! So watch out. At some point in the night, Alyssa (our waitress) ran up to tell us that a tarot reader was there. He made the night very interesting and magical. We made friends in the bathroom, sat down with others at the bar, made more acquaintances, and all the while staff was so much fun and brought the vibe. They made this one of the most memorable nights. At the end, our responsible friend ushered us outside where we came face-to-face with the manager who had us blow our candles out. We challenged him to a battle... a dance-off. I don't know how many of us did it, but honestly it was ridiculous and amazing. When our Uber arrived, he ensured we were getting in the right vehicle and safe. The whole night was amazing and we loved how involved/fun the staff was. The whole night felt playful like we were all already friends with everyone there. Highly recommend. ✨️
This restaurant is such a cool concept. We discovered it by mistake. The menu has a lot of small sharable plates. The wait at the door was an hour and a half. I'm glad we waited. They have a small outdoor bar area, where you can grab an interesting cocktail or local brew while you mingle and wait. They were offering a 10% discount if you were in a costume. The food was excellent. The service was great. We enjoyed it so much, we went back the next night and ordered 3 different plates to share. I'm hoping to go back next time I'm on the west coast.
Great place for happy hour! Great, unique cocktails in an incredibly-themed ambience with heavier offerings to tide you over either all night (for the ambitious), or at least until your late-night cravings get the better of you at your next adventure. French Onion Soup and the loaded fries were our favorites. Super cool, unique venue with great drinks and food, what's not to love? Definitely a good place to visit if you have the time and proclivity!
The service, servers and ambience was amazing. The food however did not hit the spot for me. The dessert looked promising but it was also 6/10. Still above average. The salad bar is good. The cocktails are sugared down too but good. The ambience of this place is great and it's a decent dinner place. Good portion size. And again the servers make things better. The chocolate motherload needed more frosting and felt dry. The food just overall needed more seasoning for me but that's just my palette.
So we stopped in for a bite before heading over to Knotts Scary Farm. We arrived about 4:30 pm and it was empty but it got more crowded once it got later. The wait wasn’t long before we were seated but unfortunately, sitting and waiting was unpleasant as we could smell the bathroom odor. Once seated, our waiter was friendly and attentive to our orders as well as some changes. The food tasted great and the drinks were delicious.
The steak and shrimp were absolutely delicious! Cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The cheesecake was also a fantastic dessert – rich and creamy. Highly recommend!
Came here with the family to celebrate Father's Day. Made a reservation for 5pm. We actually arrived 30 minutes early because it being Father's Day knowing they were going to be extra busy. They were definitely extra busy. We didn't get seated until almost 6:30. Service was a bit on the slower side too which is what we expected. They were definitely slammed for the holiday. The restaurant started to clear out closer to 7. Nonetheless our waitress was really friendly. Dinner and dessert was delicious.
Love the big portions. I just wish my tri tip was warmer. It was a little dry. But because they served korbel for the mimosas, I became delighted and enjoyed the rest of my food.
We came here late for dinner after we got out from Knott's Berry farm. Haven't tried this restaurant for a decade and decided to give it a try for a party of 5 We ordered the Widow maker burger, the Farmhouse burger, the Lobster Mac and cheese and the Black tie pasta. Portion is big and food are delicious. We finished everything on the table with a fully belly. Even though we arrived late and sit all the way at the back table, but the server check on us periodically. However I gave a 4 star review is because of the restaurant interior deco. Our table is a bit dated and greasy and hope the restaurant will get a remodel or makeover soon. Will definitely visit this location again after it's renovated
Service is excellent, but a little slow when they're busy, as they seem slightly understaffed. Food is mostly good, but not everything is good. Fried Zucchini has too thick zucchini compared to too little breading. The ratio is off, they should slice their zucchini thinner. Nashville hot Cauliflower is excellent, but the Nashville chicken sandwich tastes strangely sweet, which makes it not as good, whereas the Nashville Cauliflower tastes savory, which is better. Chicken pot pie is excellent, but the California Chicken Salad is too sweet and has too many dried cranberries in it, which are also too sweet. Note that the portions are LARGE, so get the smaller size of something if you're not sure if you can finish it. The appetizers uniformly seem good, and it is probably possible to just order only appetizers and get a whole meal out of them with people just sharing them all like small plates. The parking situation is bad though, when it's busy. Knott's Berry Farm and its parking are nearby, so there's a swarm of pedestrians and ultra slow stop and go traffic on the main road, and it's hard to get in and out of the plaza. I recommend visiting during off hours if you can. And if you have Landry's gift cards, note that most Claim Jumper locations have been franchised to Kelly's Restaurants and may not accept those gift cards. We were able to get our Landry's gift card honored, but the manager had to be contacted to do that.
Looking for a cool little night life spot after a day at Knotts Berry Farm well here you go. A dark quiet spot that serves up eye pleasing and potent cocktails as well as mocktails if you’re not a drinker. Along with the drinks they offer tasty bites as well as good food that’s fusion inspired. The atmosphere is chill and the decor is so interesting to look at. It’s a good spot for large groups with a patio in the front and side dining area that’s not so dark if that’s not your vibe. The service is a hit and miss but mostly consistent. Parking is a breeze since the business next door is closed after three o’clock. So definitely check it out if you’re in the area and looking for a spot to unwind and hang out for a little bit.
I recently visited The Cauldron in Buena Park, California, to kick off their new Christmas-themed menu, and it was a delightful experience! The decor was enchanting, perfectly capturing the holiday spirit and setting a cozy, festive vibe. We arrived on a Tuesday, a little after 4 PM, and although I had made a reservation to be safe, the restaurant wasn’t crowded. Surprisingly, we were seated at a small high-top table, which was my only gripe. It felt cramped for our group of three, especially since we wanted to sample a variety of food and drinks. I didn't ask to move, but it might be worth requesting a different table if space is a priority for you. The food and drinks were fantastic, with a menu full of creative and delicious options. I especially loved the choices on the cheeseboard. There was one cheese with a perfect balance of heat and savory flavors that stood out, though I wish I could remember its name. The ambiance was stunning, and the bartender, whose name I sadly can't recall, was wonderful. She provided excellent recommendations that truly enhanced our experience. If you’re in the area, The Cauldron is definitely worth a visit. During the week, reservations might not be necessary, but they do offer an all-day happy hour on Tuesdays, which is a great bonus. Overall, it’s a magical spot to enjoy the festive season!
Overall it was a neat and unique experience. There is a wait so make sure to put your name on the waitlist. If you like spooky themes, this one's for you. Everything inside and even outside is spooky themed. Very Tim Burton, haunted mansion-esque themed. The drinks were good but be sure to read each ingredient. I ordered the Cajun peach martiini and was not a fan, too much salty seasoning. However, the Greenman's garden is amazing!!! Our waitress was friendly. Would come back.
I could see why it wasn't crowded. We had sliders and potato soup. Our table mates had chicken and tri tip. It looked good, but my friend didn't like the chicken. I think she was most dissatisfied with the gravy. The meat in my sliders tasted different than I expected beef to taste- just not seasoned well, and the restaurant used American cheese, the processed stuff that I don't think is real cheese. Soup tasted ok, not anything to come running back to eat again. The tritip looked great. Half of it went home. Wait staff was sweet. I was surprised that a rib eye steak was so expensive. The website indicates it's $48, but the menu was different at a shipping $98. I sure hope I read that wrong. Anyway, CJ had a great idea in the 80's. Not so much now. Just my not so humble opinion.
Had family come visit and we were looking for a nice place for good food and drinks where we could spend some time. This place looked like it hit all the marks but looks can be deceiving. The pros: the decor and drink names follow along with the name. A "Spooky" vibe was well thought out and maintained. The cons overshadowed everything and cast a ghoulish light on the evening. The service was not a complete failure. The main server did well but the rest of the team failed. Bar took forever to serve, so much so that one of our appetizers arrived before drinks. Then when we were served our meals they came out one and twos, so we had to decide to wait and eat cold food or be rude and eat as it came out. When we ordered dessert and they finally arrived no one cleared the small table to make room. We did that ourselves. Now the main disappointment, the food. The best was the beef bourguignon, if served with a few rolls it would have been a great entree. Unfortunately everything else ranged from drab to ok. Portions were small and nothing satisfying. French onion soup was thin and weak, filet mignon bites chewy and tough. Then the drinks, let just say these witches needed to go back to potions class. Maybe you will have a better experience but if you do go, order one thing at a time to not get committed, and since they will be served that way, and decide as you go.
Offers promos that do not exist per my server causing a much higher bill than expected. Will be my first and last time coming here. I’d advise to avoid this shady place. See pics
Waitress was nice but the food was disgusting. Paid $155.00 for 2 people that we couldn't even finish the meal. Food is microwaved slop. It arrived within 10 mins of ordering so you know it wasnt cooked. It was heated up. Anyone can tell when shrimp, ribs, and tr tip is microwaved. Not woth the price your paying. Is you guys are going to half ass preparing your food you should be charging half the price. Definitely never getting anymore of my money.
