I ordered nachos and an espresso martini (that came with a fun orange peel), both of which were great! Our server was so sweet and prompt. I wish I could have tried more of the appetizers. They offer vegetarian options in all sections of the menu, which I loved. I just wish they had more variety in their menu. The restaurant was also kind of chilly, which made it less relaxing. All and all, it was very good and I would recommend this restaurant as a great place to meet up with friends.

Took my lady out to dinner for V-day and I must say the food and wine was good. The cocktail drinks were alright, she didn’t really like it. The only thing that didn’t sit right with me was that the tip was added to my bill when I originally wanted to pay a cash tip separately. Let’s say I told her to charge my card for the food and I’ll tip separately with cash, either more or less, would that be a problem ? Idk if tips automatically go on the bill for everyone but that’s my first time encountering that…

Best Bloody Mary's ever hands down! Unfortunately, my non-cooked/cured salmon entree never arrived after 1 hour. This is a Bloody Mary and liquid diet highly recommended spot. If you are eating ensure you have 2 hours to enjoy your brunch. I still think the Gin Cured Salmon would have been delicious!

Visited for restaurant week. Had probably one of the top 3 burgers ever! Drinks were delicious and well priced. Service was also good! Great upgrade from Shadow. Perfect addition to Hertel.

The food was outstanding! The service however was quite lacking. I guess if you don't know the male bartender that's serving he's too busy talking to people he does know then to take your order. I ordered a side that came out after my husband had finished his meal and mine was almost. We ordered cold blue crab on brioche, capresse salad, mac and cheese as a side, and the wild game burger that was kangaroo! The food was delicious, just not impressed with the service.

I've been coming here for years and unfortunately did not have a great experience yesterday. There wasn't enough staff on and the bartender was fulfilling multiple roles, bussing, hosting, serving and tending to the bar. We were patient when ordering drinks, however I noticed that the bartender glared at me a few times and it made me feel very uncomfortable. I don't think I will be coming back here, and it sucks because this was a neighborhood bar that is close to home.

The experience here was average but not good nor excellent. Service was on the slow side and did not get checked on very often. Food was good though and I did not receive cold fries like others have mentioned.

Over an hour wait for food that was honestly at the bare minimum okay. Waited 30 minutes just for drinks & waters. Plates came out dirty, we were overchaged on our first check and they also asked us to separate the bills ourselves(4 people)

We had a reservation on a Wednesday and it was my wife’s birthday. She always wanted to check this place out and we even told them it was for a special occasion. Only 3 tables were occupied and we waited by the door much longer than we should have before someone even acknowledged us . Finally we get a table and no waiter/waitress came to our table at all ! After 15-20 minutes we simply walked out. Nope , not getting my money.
