The way you think about chain pizza shops is in for a change. If the first places you think about are Dominoes and Pizza Hut then come here! Starting from a warm greeting and a very helpful staff. This is the second time I walked through the doors here. I ordered a slice of the Wise Guy and The Burrata Queen. Armed with a side of hot honey, something I never knew I always needed, I tore into those two slices. The crust slightly caramelized and with a great chew. The toppings on both slices complemented by the honey. There is no doubt I will be back.
Slice house checks all the boxes and it does check them all very well. This is my second time back after I discovered the Slice House. The location is perfect for any festive occasions or if you wish to get a quick delicious slice. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and presented with many options of pizza slices. I went with the Sicilian slices. They are thick, crispy outside and soft inside. The pepperoni is thick and full of flavor. These slices have a ton of flavor. The salad was fresh and came with side dressing. The meatball was incredible. The sauce is full of spices and the portions were large. I highly recommend the Slice House for your next pizza adventure.
Angeleno Grandma Slice / vodka sauce, mozzarella, bacon, pepperoni, sausage, ricotta, hot honey, basil, oregano / 5⭐! Wiseguy New York Slice / tomato sauce, mozzarella, sweet & spicy sausage, pepperoni, ricotta, hot pepper oil, green onion / 5⭐! Slice House in Burbank is right next to the stairs up to the AMC theater. It was a perfect place to snack on some pizza before seeing a movie. I noticed they were preparing to open a while ago and was looking forward to going (my 1st time was in October). First off, in a world of large pizza by the slice, these have to be some of the largest. I ordered two and it was almost too much for me. These slices are huge! They sell quite a few types by the slice. They rotate out a couple of specials each day to go along with their daily menu. They have whole pies as well as some other items like salads, pastas and deserts. I'm intrigued by the meatball sandwich. I'll have to try it out soon. Another element I liked that you don't often see is they have many different styles of pies. There are New York pies next to Detroit next to traditional and more. The sauce was really nice. It was a touch sweet but in a good way. The two styles I had were a grandma slice and a New York slice. The crust on both were perfect. Chewy and crispy on the edges. The slices are huge so you get a lot of tasty toppings. They have their own hot honey and hot chili oil. I recommend both. Hot chili oil on pizza is fantastic if you enjoy chili flakes. The spot has lots of seating available including a large outdoor patio space. Parking is super easy. Just park in the free Burbank parking lot nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pizza is par-baked so it comes out quite fast. I am going to make this a regular stop when I see a movie here. But next time I think one slice will be just fine.
I had a chance to try this place last night after walking past it a couple of times. I came around dinner time and they weren't as busy on a Monday night. I took a look at their menu first to see what they have but didn't realize that they have particular toppings pizza on a certain day. I wanted to get a Hawaiian pizza but that's only on Wednesday. Since I was here I figure I would still try them out so I went with the wiseguy pizza and a pepperoni pizza. I also got a house salad for the wife and wanted to try their meatball. I also got a soda to drink to finish out my order. The man working the register was very nice and explain the pizza to me. He give me a pager and told me it would buzz when my order is ready. I found a table inside in the middle of the dining room so I was able to watch the football game playing. My food was ready quick and the pizza size is huge. I started off with the wiseguy pizza and it was okay but not my favorite. Just eating that pizza alone filled me up but I tried the meatball as well. I didn't like the sauce on it or the blue cheese so I just took them off. My wife like the salad and the pizza but felt it was a bit salty. Overall my experience here was good and I will come back to try their Hawaiian pizza.
5 for the crust! So good. Crispy, tasty and chewy. We had a slice of the Angeleno and really enjoyed it. We also ordered a 20" Cal-Italia, NY style. The Cal-Italia and the sweet ans d savory combo was good. The balsalmic was a bit too sweet, but I'm not complaining, it was good. The Spumonibice cream was the perfect finisher!
Prolly one of the best new pizza spots in Burbank!! Saturday night don’t was busy busy and the line was out the door and overflowing into the middle area! But they work fast here and got everyone’s order promptly! Have to come back again and try the rest out! But tonight we went with the below! (Fed 5 adults and 2 kids) Buffalo wings Cesar salad Motörhead Detroit style pizza Hot honey Pepperoni NY style pizza
Was at AMC theatre after a friend recommended Gladiator 2, and within a few feet of the steps is Slice House. Another friend told me that if I love pizza, I had to go here. He was right. My overall experience was amazing. I was quickly served by Thor, the manager/owner. He shared the pedigree of the store, franchise history, and inspiration behind the enterprise. It is quite impressive and was originally created by pizza royalty (sorry, im forgetting his name). The slice I tried was the Angeleno, what he called New Jersey 'grandma' style pizza. It has a slightly sweet and tomatoey sauce with just enough salt from the peperoni. The crust was crispy, thin, yet had a light chewing crumb, amazing. There were small dollops of a sweet cream on the corners, very creative with a sense of flavor balancing. There was a large container of napkins in the center of each table, a recognition of the eventual necessity as you wake up from hypnotically consuming your slice. Great pizza and over experience.
Initially I was skeptical because this spot does so many styles of pizza but they were all really good… exceptional even! We also tried pasta, meatballs, salad & garlic bread. I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to recommend Slicehouse.
2024/08/29: I finally made it back to try their pizza! I was hungry so I thought I could finish one of their 12” pizza, I wanted their Meat Lover so my server Juliana recommended the 12” Motörhead, (Salami, Thin Pepperoni, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Italian Sausage with Tomato sauce, Ricotta and Basil) I could only finish half of it, (3 slices) and leave the other half for my dinner later tonight,😅 I was able to chat a bit with the GM, Thor, he was Nice and was very Patient with me as I am a simple pizza (thick and thin crust) with toppings and they have different set of toppings with different names, a new concept for me, Thor also showed me a sample of their Pasta, it was thicker than a Soba noodle! And each order has a half pound of noodle, you have to order Meatballs and garlic bread separately The place has 6 large screen TVs in the main dinning area so this place would be a great place to hang with your friends to watch sporting events as you eat. They also have outdoor patio seating. I would recommend you give this place a try, especially on your way to or after seeing a movie at AMC Burbank 16 theater across the walkway. 2024/08/22: I missed the soft opening today, the servers were nice and professional and allowed me to take pictures of their menu, while they were prepping for their grand opening. but I was able to take pictures of their menus. I look forward to trying out their deep dish pizza, I will update this review once I've eaten their food
Very good vegan cheese thin pizza made of cheese called Selfish Cow, it's clean ingredients, no soy, super yummy!!! Nice with pesto on top, also the regular cheese pizza was great. Nice atmosphere and staff.
So I came on free pizza night. The Angeleno pizza had a thinner crust that was closer to fried than just crispy, there was a lot of crunch and the toppings weren't overwelming. The Red Top pizza seemed like garlic bread with a bunch of cheese and some sauce on top so the bread was thicker. Has 2 bathrooms, indoor and outdoor seating. Best of all they have chilli oil and oregano for the pizzas, they also have red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese like most places. Oh and I got the meatball appetizers, had a quick bite and it was good. Also in the photos is the cheese pizza and grandma pizza. The grandma has a sweet sauce unlike most of the other ones so be aware. Also the gluten free crust is cauliflower based according to a staff member I asked and only available for the 12 inch pizza.
Pizza was superb and well worth the wait. Their Sicilian opened my eyes and I loved their spin on New York. Their Hot Pepper oil is a phenomenal spicy addition to any Pizza.
While we came here for the pizza and it was delicious, this review is for Nolan B who served us. We just visited on a very busy Saturday night and after Nolan quickly took our order, we watched him for 20 minutes while waiting for our pizzas to be cooked, very professionally handle a very rude and angry customer. We over heard as Nolan did his best to rectify the situation, going so far as to offer a refund and get this customers information for managers to follow up with, only to be verbally berated some more and yelled at, forcing him to refuse service. I'm submitting this in hopes his managers see this and it negates any negativity sent his way by the out of line customer who seemed hell bent on receiving free pizza.

Pretty good pizza. I went twice while visiting. Sucks they only have Pepsi products but the pizza is really good. I got the combo and the Caesar salad each time and I felt like the salad could have a few more pieces of lettuce in it than it did. But the pizza and salad were really really good and the employees were friendly.
Slice House is the finest pizza restaurant I’ve ever had. It’s combination of various styles of Pizza is impressive, but more so is the expertise with which each is prepared. I have Long been a fan of Detroit style pizza, and the version that Slice House prepares is as good as buddies pizzeria, the Detroit style pizza originator in Michigan. Surprisingly Tomi, their grandma style pizza is even better and I order it every time I visit. I highly recommend Slice House by Tony Gemignani
Fantastic pizza chain, definitely my favorite of all time. Went for their limited time pizza flavor today and it was pretty solid as well. Normally I get their Wise Guy but this was good too. Overall great pizza with good pricing especially if you go with their slices.

I’ve become a fan of deep dish / Detroit style pizza over the past few years and had to try a slice when I waked by. I have to say, it was so good I have to come back and try their other types of pizza. The dough was light and fluffy but had a crunchy/crispy edge seasoned with garlic and butter. I could tell the toppings and sauce were high quality. Glad to have a place like this, excellent pizza
We've been to this location before, and to the one in Simi Valley, and we're anxiously awaiting the opening of the one in Santa Clarita where we live which will completely change the pizza game in our town! We love it...the Sweet Geno slice is FANTASTIC, and normally the cheese slices are EXACTLY what you want a NY slice to be. Tony Gemignani really knows what he's doing with these authentic pizza variations. In this particular case the cheese pie they took our NYC slice from was already overcooked so reheating it more in the oven led to a bit of a disappointing slice, not consistent with what we've had at this location and at the Simi Valley one. We know they can do better because our mouths remember it. Service is friendly and they'll help carry your slices to your table if you can't get them all with your two hands. It's in a fun part of Burbank so there's plenty to do and see right outside the restaurant.
The Pre-Movie Lunch That Hit Just Right Sometimes, everything lines up just right - and my visit to Slice House in Burbank was one of those moments. I stopped in for the lunch combo before catching a movie at the AMC 18 across the way, and honestly, it was perfect. I went with a slice of the Sweet Gino - fresh, crispy, cheesy - topped with a house-made hot honey that was chef’s kiss. Infused with red pepper flakes, it had just the right balance of sweet and heat. Paired with a crisp Caesar salad and a cold drink, the combo felt satisfying without being heavy. Quick service, flavorful pizza, and that unbeatable location - Will 100% be coming back.

During one of my rare cheat days, I grabbed a slice of Sicilian traditional from here. I'm originally from the East Coast and it's not easy to find a good deep dish Sicilian with a light airy crust in Southern California. They did a really good job with the crust here. I approve. But for a Sicilian pie, the sauce was way too sweet. It feels like they tried to cut the acidity of the tomatoes by adding in extra sugar. The end result was a bite that was too sweet, and a lingering tang in the aftertaste that left a slightly unpleasant feel in the roof of the mouth. Maybe take out most of the sugar and toss in a couple slices of carrot to cut that acidity, and while you're at it, drop in an anchovy. The crust was really good so if you hone in that sauce a bit I think you'll have a winner here.
I think it's was a bit over hyped!!! I was super excited to try this place and brought my daughter with me. When we walked in no one greeted us just kind of sat looking at us as if we should be ordering before we saw what was in the glass :( not sure what to order and the menu is set very high made for basketball players like Shaquile O'Neal LOL!! So we figured it out 2 Traditional & 2 New York style, 1 Pepsi and a side of Ranch to dine in. They handed us a food monitor to let you know when it's ready a few minutes later, the monitor was buzzing, and off I went to grab them. 4 slices on 4 paper plates no tray to carry them over kind of a downer as people are hovered in the pick up area waiting for their pizza to go please don't breathe on mine!!! I grabbed the other 2 and sat down, took a few pictures, and began eating. Note: I never did the guy at the register ask if I was registered on their app!!! The New York pizza was good but more oil than I like, the Traditional was more per slice with more bread and less toppings... You probably asked why I am eating them well for $35.28. You're going to finish what you can too!! After about 15 minutes after we started earring, we were invaded by a few Nats that decided to land on my daughters New York Pep :( We tried to finish eating and watch the Charger game, but the Nats were too annoying. Overall, it's probably a bad day to come here for my first try at their pizza!!! The restaurant got super busy but had plenty of flat screens to watch the games and plenty of space to sit and eat.

Horrible experience. Waited too long for 1 slice of cheese pizza. Very slow service. I could see the slice turning cold on counter. Pizza slice was completely burnt and so brittle that it broke in pieces.
