Without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in Burgos. Perfect for a special occasion or to treat yourself, the tasting menu is incredible, with amazing flavors and very generous portions—you'll leave completely full. Literally every dish was amazing.

We come here every time we visit Burgos, probably every year for the last 5 years and we will continue going in the future. The food is very unique and good, the service is great and always the same two servers working that have been very kind to us.

First, I must mention the exquisite service; both waiters were incredibly kind and attentive. The service was top-notch and the food outstanding; we shared all the dishes and they were delicious. The only downside I could find to this experience was that drinks weren't included in the dinner menu.

A small, charming place with great food. If you're looking for traditional cuisine, this isn't the place for you, but if you enjoy trying new things combined with tradition, you've hit the jackpot. The starters were delicious (the potato salad was incredible), the porcini mushroom risotto was outstanding, but all the dishes were beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Definitely a great place in terms of value for money. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the waiters were very attentive at all times, explaining the ingredients in the dishes, checking for allergies, etc. We have to go back.

We went to try their weekday set menu for €26 and were delighted. We booked the same day, shortly before lunch, and they were able to fit us into the first seating even though it was almost fully booked. Knowing we were arriving a little late and that the table had to be freed up by 3 pm, they were very quick and efficient, and we had plenty of time to eat. The staff were excellent, taking special care with allergies and intolerances, adapting one of the dishes even though it was a set menu. We also really appreciated how they explained the dishes. The restaurant itself was lovely: quiet, clean, and attractive. It was a nice touch that we could see the kitchen. The food exceeded our expectations, with a traditional style and Asian influences. All the dishes were very well prepared and full of flavor, and the portions were a good size. The price isn't typical for a set menu, but it's very reasonable for the quality of the food. We will definitely return the next time we're in Burgos.

Excellent restaurant for delicious food. Small but very cozy place, the service is very attentive and quick, explaining the menu which consists of chicken broth, leek croquette with a spectacular béchamel sauce, Russian salad, and then a choice of four starters, a choice of four main courses, and dessert. In my opinion, the rigatoni with salmon and the curry starter were excellent, and for the main courses I loved the tartare, the slow-cooked pork loin, and the cod. We left absolutely stuffed, but they brought out some ridiculously delicious desserts to top it all off. Everything was perfect, I would definitely go back tomorrow to try the rest of the menu. 👌

This was my second time at El Fogón de Jesusón, and it was just as incredible as the first. First and foremost, the quality and flavor of the food were outstanding. It gave me goosebumps all over my body and made me want to close my eyes to fully appreciate and try to identify every single flavor. The dish that truly set the world on fire today was the slow-cooked rib, but every single dish was exquisite. The price of the set menu (the "traveler's menu") is very reasonable, making such thoughtful, carefully prepared, and elaborate cuisine accessible to almost everyone. Another very important point to mention is the excellent service from the two waiters, who added the perfect finishing touch to this unique experience. I hope to return soon!

Unbeatable. We enjoyed the traveler's menu (€27.50/pp), a very reasonable price for a meal that is a unique experience, combined with excellent service and hospitality. Looking forward to returning to Burgos for another meal!

I loved the experience. We ordered the fogón menu and the food was delicious, with generous portions. The menu includes three starters, a main course, a main course, and a dessert of your choice, so I was able to try several dishes. My favorites were the focaccia and oxtail, although the cannelloni and risotto were also delicious. They also adapted the menu to accommodate two people who were celiac. I will definitely come back!

This was a lovely experience. We had the three course lunch menu. The service was very friendly and very quick. All three courses were very delicious and creative. For 60 Euros for two people you get a very high quality experience that feels more expensive than it actually is. Highly recommended. Bonus information: Parking is readily available in front of the restaurant and the bathrooms are also very nice.

fun experience here! me and my poor college friends booked a reservation here not knowing it was $54 and like a 10 course meal, but we stayed anyways cuz we didn’t wanna waste the food and lemme tell u. Best accidental expensive meal of my life. This place was DELICIOUS. We at first were so mad at my friend for not checking the price but by the end we didn’t care cuz we loved it all. The employees were so kind about us not knowing and let us try some special olive oil and with each plate they described what the dish was and I tried so many new wonderful things. Like I’d pay so much more for the quality of this food. I’d go here again even! It was a positive experience me and my friends will all always remember and we adored the food here! We all went into a food coma after, it was a lot of food (in a good way)

Definitely a must when in Burgos. Very forward concept restaurant and team. Beautiful food and service. Loved the different asian flavors as an Asian American tourist. Clean flavors and just wonderful energy and chef! Will be back. Wear comfortable pants, come hungry, and check out the shop next door for asian delicacies. Worth the Price as well.

La comída está muy buena , el servicio muy atento. Entre semana tiene un menú día. Y los fin de semana menús degustación. Es un lugar para repetir. Importante reservar.

The service at this restaurant is excellent from the moment you walk in the door. Every detail is taken care of. Regarding the food, the starters were delicious, as were the desserts, but the main courses were a bit disappointing. It might just be a matter of personal taste; in my case, I found the spiciness in the dishes excessive, even though it wasn't specified on the menu. But, I repeat, the level of spiciness depends a lot on each person's tolerance. If you're looking for a unique restaurant, an explosion of flavors, and highly personalized service, with attention to every detail, at a very reasonable price, this is definitely a good place for you.
