Watching them pull the meat right off the open pit is an experience in itself, but the flavor is where it really shines. You can taste that authentic, smoky mesquite wood in every single bite. The steak was cooked perfectly. Charred just right but incredibly juicy and tender on the inside.

Another culinary feast fit for a King! Miss Tina greeted us and our dog while we were in the line. The dog-friendly staff brought our special family member a fresh bowl of water. Another customer asked if he could feed and pet our dog. There aren’t too many places that go out of their way for the sake of customer satisfaction. An absolute delightful experience. Highly recommend the 8oz steak. These people are Patriots and love the military!!

We gathered a group of foreign exchange students and their families tonight for a Welcome to Texas dinner at the Hard Eight in Burleson. We were outside waiting for everyone and Marcell came to check on us, welcome us, and offer us a cold drink while waiting. Once everyone arrived, Marcell took our group and gave us a rundown on how to order. He showed each member of our group inside and was so very friendly. The manager, Tina, was amazing as well! We all were checked on several times to make sure we were okay. The entire experience was incredible and Marcell went above and beyond.

So this place was awesome. I'd never been, wander in the wrong door and just looking around to figure out what I should be doing... guy comes along (turns out to be the manager), I tell him I've never been here and he walks me over to where I should be, goes over the menu and the system, just as nice as can be. I order my food, brisket and sausage, bacon wrapped shrimp, and corn. I go to the next area, pick out some slaw, pay and then go sit at the bar. The brisket just melts in your mouth. It's so tender and juicy. Everything was really delicious. Then, manager guy (Blake) comes by and asks how I'm doing etc. I say awesome, he asks "what's my favorite thing" I say the brisket and we chat some more. Some time later it occurred to me that I had a second favorite thing. It was Blake and his crew. Yeah the food was great, but everyone I encountered there was genuinely nice, courteous, pleasant...Just can't say enough good stuff about them all. I travel for work, eat in restaurants way too much. I run into so many crabby people that dont want to be where they are and just do the minimum. What I'm saying is they've built a culture of hospitality at this place and its nice. Enjoy the food and the people.

Tried their ribeye and found it full of flavor and tender. The grilled onions and jalapeno was a great addition. The cream corn was the creamiest. Chicken popper was good and the cobbler wasn't too sweet and delicious. The free beans were a lot better than expected.

My girlfriend and I love having lunch here. The BBQ is great and so is the service! From the meat guy to the food bar to the cashier! I wish I would have asked names so I could give them praise! Tammy was great, she was so sweet to us!

Neat experience. You enter the restaurant through the barbecue room where you see your food being cooked. Then order directly from the pit master. Staff recommended the steak special (8oz or 16oz), took the 8oz and ordered a few other items like brisket and pulled pork. Great service, excellent food, and great atmosphere. Will try to visit another location while I'm in Fort Worth area. Will miss this food when I go back to Toronto!

Eaten here a few times and the BBQ is good not great but doesn't suck just so dam expensive as they really like there meat. Lol went for lunch with a client and he ordered a drink and a sandwich and I got a little bit of a few things and fries and bill was over 70 bucks lol. Needless to say I have to be really craving bbq and don't want to drive cousins to eat here.

okay I got the bacon jalapeño wrapped shrimp,bacon jalapeño wrapped chicken,pork ribs,chicken, brisket, sausage and fries. The bacon jalapeño wrapped chicken was extremely dry and bland the shrimp was okay though. The chicken was nicely flavored and juicy so that was nice the ribs were also nicely flavored could've been more tender as for the sausages it was overly salty and too fatty the first two pieces were quite good but after that it wasn't enjoyable. The fries were really good reminded me of wings top fries which was nice. Brisket was dry and lacked in flavor. Overall wouldn't come again since costed around 100$ and wasn't that nice.

I love BBQ and smoked sausage but kuddos to the guys cooking and serving. The brisket to me wasn't juicy enough for me. I saw 3 or 2 types of sausages and the non-spicy was still spicy. They did not have just plain sausage. That threw my taste off right away.

Hard Eight BBQ is wildly overpriced and absolutely not worth the hype. The prices are insane — 3 ribs for $13 and 6 ribs for $26, and that’s with no sides included. And don’t bother adding sides anyway, because all their sides are horrible. Somehow our bill came out to almost $200 for just four people, which is ridiculous for BBQ that isn’t even that good. For that kind of money, the food should be amazing — it’s not. There are way better BBQ places for much cheaper that actually give you value and flavor. Don’t go here. Take your money elsewhere!
