I was really impressed by this all you can eat sushi restaurant. The location is elegant, with attention to detail and perfectly clean, creating a pleasant and refined atmosphere in which to enjoy your meal. The food is exceptional, with particular attention to the quality and freshness of the fish. I really appreciated the variety of the offer: salmon, tuna, amberjack, sea bass, shrimp and even the prized red shrimp from Mazara. All prepared with great care. Another plus is the perfect balance of the rice: well-measured and really tasty, it accompanies the fish without overpowering it, enhancing its flavor. In short, an experience to absolutely repeat. Excellent for those looking for quality and refinement even in an all you can eat formula.

Everything was delicious, from the vegetables, especially the spicy eggplant, to the quality of the fish. The only complaint was the tartare sauces: the soy was a bit bland, and the olive oil listed in the description was missing. Otherwise, the welcome and service were excellent, and the waiters were truly attentive. They even waited to bring us the hot dishes so they didn't get cold. We were happy with this evening and will definitely be back. Kudos to the staff 😊♥️

I'd already been to this Japanese restaurant before the all-you-can-eat menu, so I tried the à la carte menu, and I must say the quality of the fish was very good. The dishes were well-presented, refined, and had well-defined flavors. I recently wanted to try the all-you-can-eat option as well. Obviously, changing the price also changes the "quality" of the dishes. The fish is still good, but the quality, in my opinion, is a bit lower than before. In fact, in some dishes, the flavor of the fish wasn't highlighted, but was covered by sauces or other condiments. The place is very nice, with soft lighting, making the atmosphere very calm and refined. It's a shame that some of the staff aren't very enthusiastic about their work.

They have a smart way to represent food and possess a value. I will recommend it definitely but a small issue is, their lady workers are non cooperative; focus on modeling rather than duty.

Loud music and on top disco music, loud in general, impossible to have a conversation. Digital menu is maybe fancy for the kids, but no pictures shown and not intuitively usable: again eliminating a relationships with a waiter that could suggest and recommend. Food presentation greatly degraded: Japanese food goes with perfection and elegance. The choice of the “all you can eat” has heavily downgraded the restaurant and the clientele. Sadly from an elegant and sophisticated restaurant, with excellent food quality, to an all you can eat Asian disco bar. I am certainly no longer in target…

Nice internal deco, nothing wrong with the food material they offer, but it was wasted in a All-you-can-eat style of cooking. Rice was badly done for sushi, ramen as expected is utterly wrong. But the most awful dish was the dumplings, with the price tag as 2 EUR for one I want a real handmade dumpling, not those frozen instant kind. The place though is good as a bar to drink, their beer and cocktail option worth the price tag, but definitely for Japanese dishes I would go to Milan for fukuruo... Sorry to say, you cannot call it Chinese Japanese or whatever.. it is nicely wrapped Japanese wannabe creatures with a super overpriced price tag....

I'm updating my review after about a year: I'll just advise the owners that serving food to customers, especially when it comes to fish, carries a very high responsibility for their health... I'll definitely never go back. Old review: Well, I went to dinner at Kisen after a long time, more or less when it wasn't yet AYCE, with a bit of apprehension, I'd say. Instead, I found the ingredients to be good quality, although in line with current AYCE restaurants, which are aligned with their price. There were 10 of us at a nice, spacious table, comfortable enough to stand up and move around. The staff is professional and polite, which is never a given in this type of restaurant. We had a bit of everything, from traditional Japanese dishes to fusion, even though I personally don't like it, to Chinese. Obviously, the flavor of the dishes is very similar to other AYCE restaurants, although I think Kisen has its own distinct flavor. The fish was good but not exceptional, but in line with the price you pay. Needless to say, I was pleased with the switch from a la carte to AYCE. I don't really like the very modern atmosphere, but that's how it is these days. A good alternative in the area.
