One of our favorites on the strip. Great range of pasta dishes. They also do a lot of special offers like two mains for the price of one. Look out for the vouchers being handed out - these make a great meal even better value.

The best pasta I've ever tasted! While it maybe didn't look like it from the outside, the food in this place is 5 star quality. I had the Penne Arrabiata and had the opportunity to taste the Carborana, and they were both incredibly delicious! Definitely recommend it!

Lovely food, helpful, friendly staff and the price is right. We have been here many times also had take-out and will return every time we are in Cabo Roig

Lovely restaurant with brilliant, friendly service. The portion sizes were generous, and good value for money. The food was great, everything cooked to perfection. We ordered a variety of dishes to try and everything was delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were so friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this place and will be going back next time I have the chance!

On holiday and dropped into this restaurant. A group of 12 catered for in a most calm manner. Childrens menu available. Needed gluten-free for one diner, and the waiter stated that they could cook anything from the menu and make it gluten-free. The waiter also picked up on our accents and turned out we were from his hometown! The world is so small! Lovely and friendly and beautiful atmosphere. Food delicious. Our party had calamari calcined, pizza, and bolognse, all of which were delicious

I’ve been coming here for years. Tonight’s meal and service was exceptional. Good value for money and the quality remains at the highest level. Well done. I will be back very soon.

Als erstes erst mal was war das für ein spitzen Service… sehr aufmerksam, sehr freundlich, sehr vorbildlich Das Essen war super lecker… Bruschetta war okay aber nichts besonderes, zu wenig Balsamico und leider auch ohne Zwiebeln aber die Pilze waren sehr lecker in einer Tomaten Pesto Cream… Die Nudeln waren sehr lecker und reichlich an Lachs und Mini Schrimps… aber mein Chicken BBQ war super lecker reichlich an Fleisch die Pommes waren eine sehr gute Hand voll… Salat war gut gewürzt Sehr guter Laden ✌🏼👏🏼

My husband and I were here last year and it was so tasty, so we came back tonight and it did not disappoint again, if anything it was even nicer, if that was possible. We had a fillet steak and pasta arrabiata. Both cooked perfectly. 10/10 and Staff are lovely. Love this place. Think we will even come back again tomorrow night.

Excellent food !! We dine here every year and it's always lovely. It was Very busy (might need to book to gaureentee a table. 3 areas to eat, inside ,outside covered and then outside on the footpath. The staff were very nice and helpful 👍. Prices overall were reasonable especially for the quality of food. Not a great picture of the steak strips in mushroom sauce but it was gorgeous

We had a wonderful experience at the Italian Affair. Fantastic food and all the staff were so friendly & helpful, especially Sam and Paul. Excellent service! We had our 8 month old baby with us and they couldn’t have been more welcoming and kind. We have been here twice for dinner this holiday and would highly recommend.

Good restaurant, friendly staff, enjoyed the salmon very much. Pricewise a bit more expensive than the competition but the food was fresh, tasty and just a bit better.

Old favourite on the strip in Cabo Roig. Food was excellent service was good. However, no matter what the staff say outdoor heaters should never be used in an indoor setting even if a door is open. This lack of concern for health and safety is concerning. They are not the only establishment on the strip doing this.

Not so happy with service. Left a while waiting and even for the bill. Ordered a prawn cocktail on a hot day and it came out warm instead of chilled.

First time back here in a number of years after several disappointed visits due to staff and service and food problems. We had the set menu €15 each. Starters were a good size and very tasty. Main meals again a good size and very tasty so was desserts. Staff tonight was good service was good and meals good. We will definitely be back for set menu.

Had an evening meal in this restaurant. Staff were friendly and professional. The food was good and there were no complaints from any of the four diners. It cost €102.00 for four main courses a bottle of house wine g+t and water. I thought that it was good value for money. Restaurante italiano cn variedad de platos de pasta cn diferentes estilos y salsas cn cada uno de ellos, recomiendo uno cn una salsa muy espesa con langostino q estaba muy bueno, lo malo q si eres mas de pizza no pares en este restaurante por que no disponen de ellas, tienen cupones descuento dos por uno. Buen servicio aveces está muy lleno, y lo malo es la espera pero recomendable.

Los camareros fueron muy atentos y tienen macarrones sin gluten.

Comida italiana rica y sabrosa

Clean, spacious with simple decor. Bathrooms spotlessly clean. Staff very efficient and friendly. Good variety menu at reasonable prices. Food presented beautifully and very tasty.

Went here for dinner as party of 10. Looked after initially and then service went bad. Seems to be a different waiter for each job and zero joined up thinking. Food was very good though so maybe just got them on a bad night. Clean restaurant and terrace outside. Open kitchen so you can see what a smooth operation in the back of the house. Enjoyed it and will be back.

Ate there last night, very disappointed compared to our previous visits, told the waiter my chicken was cold, in an abrupt manner, he replied “you should have told us, we would have reheated it” erm I am telling you and secondly you don’t reheat chicken, he walked off without even saying sorry, very poor attitude.

Var ska man börja? Vi kom dit, 4 personer. De var ganska snabba på att ta våra beställning vilket det var mycket uppskattad då vi hade 2 hungriga barn med oss, MEN vi väntade nästa en hel timme innan vi fick förrätten. Vill tillägga att vi var ute ganska tidigt på kvällen och restaurang var inte ens halv full! Förrätten var gott, både bruchettan, vitlöksbröd och kycklingsallad med baconet. Så kom varmrätterna och vilken besvikelse! Jag fick fel risotto. Hade beställt med gambas och fick en med kyckling och champinjoner. Sonen beställde en pizza med ost och skinka. Han fick en med lax. Jag påpekade det och de tog in pizzan, plockade bort laxen och slängde på några skinkbitar ovan. Han åt 1 slice. Bolognese lämnade mycket att önska och rabiata var inte ens godkänt. Tyvärr en bottennapp som får knappt godkänt tack vore för förrätterna och att de drog bort sonens pizzan från notan.

Great service starter's were suburb. Main course a let down I had appollo chicken very bland and for a small girl with a big appetite very small portion of 2 strips of a fillet chicken ending up stealing chips off my partner who by the way had more chips than me and was talking to another couple who noticed I was robbing his chips but laughed. Apart from being hungry service was good. A warring dont skip on a kinny woman as we are left in the horros when we are not fed.

Restaurant italien très bien situé le long de la 332. Mais manque de parking. Grand choix à la carte, superbe terrasse couverte et bien décorée. Qualité, quantité et prix très intéressant. Par moment trop bruyant. Le personnel aimable et professionnel.

Good food for a relatively expensive price. Service is mediocre at best with a 16 year old in my party being offered a childs' menu. This Italian does not serve pizzas and picky eaters may struggle to find food to eat here. Desserts are not the best. Toilets are clean at least.

The pasta dish was nice....the pizza for an Italian restaurant was a disaster! The pizza tasted and looked like it was out a packet and heated in oven. Diavlo as well is usually spicy however only spicy element was the whole chilli plonked in the middle. Servers were attentive and very pleasant but if an Italian can't do a decent pizza it's a big no from me!

Always loved the Italian Affair, visit it a few times each year, but the chips have got to be terrible, the centre is scooped out, just like rubbish from the bottom of a bag. What a pity, not intrested going there any more

The food here was quite delirious. The atmosphere was pretty nice as well. Fairly fancy, though it did have a slight stench of chlorine. The worst thing was the waiter. Very snobby and generally just unfriendly. He hasn't looked us once in the eyes and always interrupted the conversations. So although the food was good, the waiter had an serious impact on the visit to this restaurant.

Unfortunately a poor experience, starters were presented well but were cold, the main courses were tasty but portion sizes were tiny, the side of salad and chips was miserable in portion size, haven’t been here in a while, I had forgotten why…

Food was standard, presentation was above average, expected more for the price. Overcharged on the bill. The waiter was a very nice gentleman who corrected the mistake after pointing it out.

Going here a few years now. Last year, you could see the standard dropping, this year was embarrassing to be there. Manners from the older staff is zero. They just want you in and out as quick as possible.

I do not recommend the pizza for this place. Very stale taste. The Dough feels like its storebought. The pizzas was not Italian at all, big crust.

Food has gone down in quality. We were here in 2019 and it was 5 stars. Back this year and we were very disappointed 😞. Menu obviously too big for the quieter months and food was not fresh. Suggest smaller menu in quiter seasons to ensure quality consistency. Man on street, owner? is very nice, but its definitely not the best food on the strip as he said on this occasion. Offered us vouchers for money off which was good but menu is overpriced for the quality. La Mafia, or Manuel's are tough competion, I hope the Italian Affair gets back on track.

From my visit- Ordered pepperoni pizza without cheese asked for onion instead of cheese. The waiter replied “ it comes with onion as well”. Pizza arrives with about 10 small pepperoni and no onion. Poor value.

Main courses were brought out before starters were cleared. Three out of the five member party were missing main course cutlery which we ended up getting ourselves! The child's pasta resembled packet pasta. The sea bass main course consisted of burnt piece of fish skin and tomatoes. The main course chicken with chilli prawns had a cold sauce, dry chicken and 2 prawns. The starter bruschetta was basically fried bread with cherry tomatoes. The wifi didn't work and had to mither 3 members of staff to pay the bill and the waiter that cleared the awful mains once told they were atrocious did nothing to rectify the situation. Awful customer service and awful food. The total bill came to €85 A regrettable waste of time and money. We all left hungry and dissatisfied

High prices for little portions . Staff not friendly . Over changed . 5.95 for one slice of bread with garlic butter . 2.95 for a bottle of beer . Manager didnt care when we questioned the bill . Wont be back not recommend to anyone . Stay clear

Very unedifying experience in this restaurant. The head waiter was continually screaming at the lady who was under pressure in what I would describe as an understaffed kitchen. The food and service was fine but the entire experience was ruined by a Gordon Ramsey type who is misplaced in this role.

We stopped going there 15 years ago because the food was poor. We decided to try it but regret doing so. The Lasagna was mostly sauce and was cold and had to be reheated. The Prawns in the Risotto were cold and the Risotto was watery, probably from the Prawns. The Manager handled the issue well and didn't charge for the Lasagna.

Waited over a hour for food and appreciate it was busy but then one of our meals was served it was wrong and we was told needed to have it was going to be a very long wait to replace with what we ordered… The wrong meal which was a penne was hard and my wife’s risotto was bland and just about acceptable… been eating there for years and very disappointed.!! Such a shame….

Cold food served and when staff was informed, sarcastic waiter said you should have told us, well you moron we did, won't be going back, pretentious bullying by front of house who think they know better than the paying customers, they will get their come uponce

The spaghetti bolognese was bland, watery sauce. The menu didn’t specify what “meat” is used and when I asked the waiter, he was a bit abrupt and said “it’s just bolognese” and then followed up with “it’s usually beef”.

This place used to be one of the places I looked forward to when visiting Spain. Not anymore. Garlic bread was rock hard. Steak turned up 10mins before my chips. Miserable staff who would not take a drink order from us after we complained. A real shame this place has gone down hill

Jedna wielka porażka. Jeśli szukacie prawdziwych włoskich smaków to należy UNIKAĆ TO MIEJSCE! Risotto to nic innego jak zwykły ryż z dodatkiem. Bez smaku, bez właściwej dla risotto tekstury. O ryżu, czy o parmiggiano nie wspomnę. Wszystko dalekie od włoskiego smaku. Nawet pizza... czy też chleb czosnkowy (forma pizzy). Spód- nic szczególnego, dużo sera, ale czosnku jak ja lekarstwo. Wystrój, ten na tarasie za to bardzo przyjemny. Światło, w porze wieczorowej wprost rewelacyjne- tu 5*. Obsługa... cóż menager dość ordynarny, nawet chamski można by powiedzieć. Nic nie tłumaczy jego podejścia do klientów. Nie chodzi tylko o mnie. Obserwowany przez cały czas. Za to bardzo miła kelnerka dla niej 5*.

Jättebra service men riktigt dålig, smaklös mat! Beställde risotto med räkor, fick kokt ris med fem räkor på som inte smakade någonting. Pizzan och pastan riktigt smaklöst. Cabo Roig bjuder på riktigt bra restauranger så välj någon annan.

We don’t complain lightly and to be fair the mussels were great but the bbq ribs were an out right disgrace. The bbq sauce was bbq in name only as it had a very close taste and texture to HP brown sauce. This was a massive pity as the ribs had been cooked very well. After being avoided by the staff we eventually got to raise our dislike and asked to have ribs without sauce as it was a good dish spoiled by extremely poor sauce. What happened next was an extremely juvenile and unprofessional response, the ribs were over cooked to the point of being inedible. We will not return to this restaurant and would advice others to avoid it there are many better restaurants with much more professional and competent staff.

Do not use this place, they will rip you off, me and my family was eating at this resturant, checked my bank account after i got home, realised they charged me twice the amount, guess this could be a mistake, but when i try to contact the resturant by email, they dont respond to my questions.. so stay away from this establishment..

Worst pizza i have eaten. It is like they decided to make a chigago type pizza with italian flavours. It was thick and not at all a italia pizza. Lacked taste. Listen carfully now: you make the doug using type 00 flour. It should be about 66-33 in flour and water. Use sea salt in the water and use the geist a while prior to putting the salt water in the flour. Very important to make the doug a day before due to small amount of geist will make doug rise slowly. You need to knit the doug into balls of portions and therafter let it rise for 6-8 hours using a tempreture of about 30-40 degrees. Use seliomonella flour to knit the dough into the shape this will make it slide in the oven. The pizza sauce is easy to make. Tomatoes, ojl, salt, sugar and some basillicum. Cheese was good. Also maybe put topping before you cook it. Not when its done. :)

A disappointing experience. It started ok with good wine well priced. An ok starter but two poor main courses, one marginally better than the other. Unfriended but efficient service. Would not recommend and will not return. Disappointing after so many years of lovely food and good service

Dined here in August 2024, compared to other restaurants we ate in and around the area and Villamartin, this would be in last place. Too much salt in the food and over priced, 4 mains, two wines and two soft drinks were 69 Euro.

Visited The Italian Affair this evening both myself and my wife ordered drinks and i ordered chicken barbecue on a skewr with onions and peppers with side salad and chips when it arrived it had 2 tomatoes and chicken on the when I brought it to the attention of the waiter he went and asked the chef and i was,told that the pepper and onion was liquidised in the sauce a total disaster meal could not see any onions or peppers andhe just laughed it off I then informed the manager of same and told him that there was no peppers or onions in the liquid on the plate I was charged the full amount of 39 euro totally shocked paid in full manager did take on board anything the shock and disappointing service I recieved on my visit to the resturant tonight and seriously need to up their customer experience

Llevamos muchos años viniendo a la zona de Cabo Roig. The Italian Affair era visita imprescindible en nuestras vacaciones HASTA AHORA. Pedí la comida para llevar (en su publicidad dan opción a ello) y la contestación fue que estaban ocupados y no podían hacerlo. El salón completamente vacío y la terraza a media ocupación. La persona que nos atendió no ha debido de conocer el restaurante en pleno apogeo, cuando estaba completamente lleno y había que esperar un buen rato para cenar. Aún así, nunca había un no para el cliente. Pregunté ¿y si me siento sí me pones la comida? Entonces sí.,Sin comentarios.....

La comida es mediocre y los precios por encima de su calidad y para rematar el baño de los hombres estaba lleno de cucarachas. Lamentable

My Mother and i had the misfortune of coming to this place for a meal during our recent stay in the area. There was staff Apathy and a complete lack of customer care from the get-go! The so called "Manager" (An Italian Man) was sitting outside the premises 'Vaping' whilst trying to entice passers by into the premises! Unprofessional to put it mildly! Our Food was only okay, quite meagre portions. We ordered a bottle of wine with our meal, unfortunately a fly insect landed inside my Mothers glass, when she alerted the "manager", his response was utterly despicable! He retorted quite aggressively and defensively: "What do you want me to do about it" & "i didn't put the fly there"!! We were shocked and dumfounded that somebody could be so rude and downright nasty to a Woman in her early 70's! She did not accuse him, she had simply hoped that perhaps he might show some hospitality, chivalry & respect and simply get her another glass of wine out of goodwill as our bottle was complete. He did so very grudgingly. He was sitting outside again when we were leaving, we approached him to convey our disappointment at My mothers treatment, and yet again, he got defensive, hostile and aggressive in his tone & body language. Shocking! I returned to the restaurant some days later to establish an Owner, as i wished to lodge an official complaint. I was met by an English man, who was also Rude, defensive, argumentative & aggressive in tone and body language. He suggested we were overeacting and that the "manager" did nothing wrong! He snapped at me when i pressed him for contact details of the owner! He told me that i would not be speaking to the Owner, as the owner is "a silent partner"!! No indication of course of a "Vocal partner"! I concluded myself that perhaps that Nasty English man was indeed perhaps the Owner!!!?? I urge people to Avoid this horrible place at all costs. With that awful Attitude and low standard that they operate from, i am shocked that this Business is open to the public at All. I am only giving 1 star as i cannot post my review without doing so! Needless to say, this place does not warrant Any star at all!

Acudimos a cenar con dos niñas pequeñas y pedimos mesa en el interior pensando que con esta ola de calor tendrían aire acondicionado, no solo nos ubicaron en una mesa arrinconada, sino que ni se molestaron en limpiar las tronas que nos facilitaron, las tuvimos que limpiar nosotros, todo ello acompañado del calor terrible de estos dias.Tardaron muchísimo en servir la comida y para nuestra sorpresa, la calidad, y no exagero, no podía ser peor, todo ultracongelado y sin ningún gusto. No lo recomiendo en absoluto, por favor,no acudáis engañados por las fotos que hay.

La comida es mediocre y los precios por encima de su calidad y para rematar el baño de los hombres estaba lleno de cucarachas. Lamentable

Llevamos muchos años viniendo a la zona de Cabo Roig. The Italian Affair era visita imprescindible en nuestras vacaciones HASTA AHORA. Pedí la comida para llevar (en su publicidad dan opción a ello) y la contestación fue que estaban ocupados y no podían hacerlo. El salón completamente vacío y la terraza a media ocupación. La persona que nos atendió no ha debido de conocer el restaurante en pleno apogeo, cuando estaba completamente lleno y había que esperar un buen rato para cenar. Aún así, nunca había un no para el cliente. Pregunté ¿y si me siento sí me pones la comida? Entonces sí.,Sin comentarios.....
