The views at this restaurant is amazing. The smokey Mango drink is absolutely delicious and we had their fish taco for lunch and enjoyed that as well. The service was great and attentive. They even brought us binoculars to watch the whales. Highly recommend.

Everything was great! No problems with portion sizes, and the food was not bad by any means. It wasn't blow-your-mind amazing, it's only issue was a lack of a full mouth feel - it felt kind of one-dimensional. Highly recommend the Chila (? I think that's its name) as a digestive at the end. View was incredible.

Cocina del Mar honestly took us by surprise — in the best way. Everything we ordered was seriously delicious. You can tell there's a lot of care and thought behind each dish. What really stood out was the creativity — they mix ingredients you wouldn't expect, but somehow it all just works. And the presentation? Beautiful. Every bite felt like it had a purpose. It wasn’t just a good meal, it was an experience. The way they play with flavors from the sea and add unexpected touches makes you want to keep trying more. No doubt, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Omg this place is amazing! The view of the ocean is incredible! Staff members are nice and friendly! If it gets cooler they will provide you with a warm blanket!!! Very thoughtful!!! Food was great! We obtained reservations for this lovely outdoor restaurant. The view and experience were amazing. We were seated overlooking the beach and waves. It was a full moon. Amazing! We ordered burrata and heirloom tomatoes. Next grilled oysters, good. Entree red snapper and gnocchi. We finished off with the creme brulee. The start and finish was the best. The entrees were ok. We came for the ambiance and experience, and we were not disappointed. The food was ok. But what a beautiful setting!!!

Absolutely gorgeous place. We were w/ a larger party & seated in a "special" section where we were told its a special menu only, not the regular menu. Ended up speaking to the manager. If you wanna spend a lot of money & felt like you are being taken advantage of, then this is the place for you. They will certainly do that! 2 basic drinks alone will run about $80 US. The food on the chefs menu was so so. Most people in our party ate only a bite of each, not worth the price. The regular menu looked much better. The place was dead for a Saturday night & I can see why.

I have to be honest, I was slightly disappointed with the service here, knowing how luxurious Esperanza is. I am not sure if my server was new, but she didn’t really know what gluten was or what made an item have wheat, despite it being on the legend. With this, The menu legend states both “cg” and “g” on some items and when asking my server what the difference was, she could not tell me and did not offer to ask the kitchen/ see what they could do. We ordered ceviche as there was limited choice with the information she could give me (I do think there was a language barrier as well). I think what would have made this better was for Karen (server) to inquire with someone who could help if she didn’t know. She came back after she put the order in for the ceviche and I believe she was trying to say cross contamination was why we couldn’t order the nachos- so I said well cross contamination is okay, can we get the nachos instead, and she said no because the ceviche was already made. If she had asked before putting the order through, we could have made our own decision. Writing this more for training purposes and to hopefully get more visibility on what to do with dietary preferences

This was the worst Michlin star restaurants ive ever been too. Coming from a culinary background. I enjoy fine dining. The meal was the worst I had on my 7 day stay at the resort, I even paid for upgraded menu. The service wasnt great the waiter knew the menu better than a waiter at a chain restaurant but not even close to a waiter at a fine dining restaurant, let alone at a Michlin restaurant. The food was horrific flavors, and combinations. I wanted to leave during the first course by just judging the server and first dish. I went to Luca on the resort and the food atmosphere, service was outstanding. I wouldn't serve Cocine food to my dog and I tried both dishes off each of there menus
