Fuimos a celebrar el cumpleaños de mi padre y estamos muy contentos de haber escogido este restaurante. Tiene parking exterior, sala interior grande y tambien terraza exterior para tomar algo antes de entrar. Escogimos todos menú, lo traen rapido y las proporciones son correctas, quedas lleno sin pasarse. El servicio excelente, muy atentos. Incluso fuimos con una niña de 1 año. Nos pusieron trona y comida para niños para que ella pufiera comer. Lo recomiendo mucho!

Hemos venido hoy a comer un menú de medio día y estaba espectacular! Hay una gran selección de primeros y segundos , todo muy elaborado, por ser un menú. El arroz meloso con bogavante 🦞 exquisito! El vino de la casa muy bueno. El servicio y atención nos ha gustado mucho también. No tardaremos en volver!

We returned today after a visit many years ago, and while some elements remain truly excellent, the experience felt a little uneven. The quality of the raw ingredients is outstanding, and the location is beautiful — there is no doubt about that. As someone who owns and operates multiple restaurants, I share this with respect and genuine goodwill. The execution didn’t quite match the quality of the products. The foie gras was heavily coated in sugar, to the point that it felt more like a crème brûlée than foie gras. The turbot dish was technically generous but very confusing, with too many elements competing on the plate. The Solomillo featured beautiful meat, but the presentation was extremely amateurish — surprisingly so for a dish at this level. Desserts and service followed a similar pattern: warm, friendly, and well-intentioned, but a bit too casual and lacking the finesse the setting and pricing suggest. I’m leaving this as a five-star review because the foundations are strong and the potential is clearly there. With more restraint, clarity, and attention to execution and presentation, this could once again be a truly standout experience. Regresamos hoy después de una visita de hace muchos años, y aunque algunos elementos siguen siendo excelentes, la experiencia fue un poco irregular. La calidad de la materia prima es excepcional y el lugar es precioso, de eso no hay duda. Como propietario y operador de varios restaurantes, comparto esto con respeto y sincera buena voluntad. La ejecución no estuvo a la altura de la calidad de los productos. El foie gras estaba muy azucarado, hasta el punto de que parecía más una crème brûlée que foie gras. El plato de rodaballo era técnicamente generoso, pero muy confuso, con demasiados elementos compitiendo en el plato. El solomillo era de una calidad magnífica, pero la presentación era extremadamente amateur, algo sorprendente para un plato de este nivel. Los postres y el servicio siguieron un patrón similar: cálidos, amables y bien intencionados, pero un poco demasiado informales y carentes de la delicadeza que sugieren el entorno y el precio. Le doy una reseña de cinco estrellas porque las bases son sólidas y el potencial está claramente ahí. Con más moderación, claridad y atención a la ejecución y presentación, esta podría volver a ser una experiencia verdaderamente destacada.

Ayer día 1 tuvimos la oportunidad una vez mas de comer en este maravilloso restaurante, la comida riquísima, el servicio inmejorable y el precio teniendo en cuenta que era 1 de Enero super razonable. Un menú con 4 primeros, 4 segundos y dos postres..todo delicioso como siempre con bebidas incluidas por 55€ .. Gracias una vez mas por hacernos fácil un día tan especial.

La comida era deliciosa y el espacio muy acogedor pero sobretodo, quiero destacar la atención, que ha sido excepcional. Hemos ido para una celebración especial y claramente, tendremos un recuerdo maravilloso gracias a su equipo!

We had a wonderful experience at Ca l'Estrany. We had booked the New Year's Day menu in advance but ended up being an hour late (a rookie mistake of not knowing not many taxis ran on Jan 1). The staff still accommodated us, let us finish our meal and desserts after closing time, and even booked us a taxi for the way back. The food was amazing and so was the service. Severin, our waitress was an absolute delight: professional, friendly, and overall a kind person. Everyone else made sure we enjoyed ourselves, too. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again!

Second visit, this time to check out the dinner menu. Of course I also took croquettes and they were amazing. Very delicate so you can taste the base of the croquettes as well as the additional flavours. Sounds simple, yet many restaurants cannot do that properly while Ca l'Estrany does their croquettes perfectly balanced. Going back to the dinner menu. For first dish I took onion soup with toast and cheese. It was fabulous. Very rich taste of onion and cheese, just got me in a great mood. As main course I decided to go for grilled octopusses. They were delicious and that is coming from a person that normally is not a great fan of squids and such... But those just tasted great. After lovely two meals I was already full and then I remembered that there is still desert waiting! Took a cheesecake and was not disappointed in the slightest. It took a while to eat though as I was already full and the piece of cheesecake was quite generous. Last detail that I would like to mention is service. It really stands out, every staff member is polite and they make sure you are happy throughout your dinner. What was a biggest plus for me, was the fact that there was no issue for the staff to speak in English. I have noticed in many restaurants around Barcelona that it is actually a problem so it was nice to see this aspect being taken care of too.

This restaurant deserves its spot in the Michelin guide. I hope they can get the star soon too because the food is amazing and so is the service. Extraordinary experience deserving of 5 star review. Visited August 5th 2022 for lunch. You get a bottle of wine and water included in the price of lunch menu. Food is perfectly cooked and the service is very polite and attentive. My ravioli with mushrooms and poached eggs was unbelievably delicious. Be aware that food portions are not small and we were quite full after the desserts. I will definitely come back next time I am around Cabrils and I would recommend everyone to visit as well.

Great service and wonderful atmosphere. The food was delicious, we shared a lot of different courses that was recommended and they even gave us extra on the house for us to try. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. Will definitely be back in the future!

Comimos muy bien, todo muy bueno, el cordero a baja temperatura delicioso, el arroz y la cheescake casera de 10. Menú fin de semana a 32€ con bebida y cafés pagamos 45€ por persona. La terraza está muy bien y el servicio rápido y amable pero nos faltaron para soles, para estar en sombra y no quemarnos.

Una buena experiencia gastronómica. El sitio es bonito y tiene pàrquing propio. El servicio es bueno pero habia algo de ruido ese día. No obstante repetiría.

Update: finally did have lunch here and everything was really tasty with great treat! Will comeback for more. They are open till 00:00 however they found nothing on the menu possible to order at 22:40, becouse kitchen closes at 22:30 - absolutely not the way you retain regular customers.

Usually this is a great place to eat and the service is usually great as well. Sadly today, Christmas Day, when they had a lot more temporary staff and a full restaurant as well, it was very disappointing. We felt they were rushing us very quickly( I was still eating the first plate and they already started serving the main) and the service was just a disaster. It felt like most of the temporary waiters were at their first service, just very far from the usual professionalism. The food was good as usual, but I haven't enjoyed it as usual because of the initial rush.

We enjoyed the terrace for 14 people for an evening meal. The food was good, traditional recipes and good quality. Deserts were more experimental but also good.

Fuimos para celebrar el día de Navidad...la comida en general buena (con alguna excepción en cuanto al postre que directamente te ponen una bandeja de turrones y ya está...). Yo quiero que quede constancia mi disconformidad, que ante la insistencia de un familiar mayor varias veces de que le prepararán la comida que había sobrado hicieron caso omiso e incluso se le contestó "señora y como se le va a llevar en la bandeja"...pensaba que en pleno S.XXI y que esa comida se pago religiosamente se tendría que ofrecer directamente a los comensales "su" comida y que ellos libremente decidan si se la quieren llevar o no y no que le hicieran sentir a este familiar que hacía algo raro o extraño...todo está muy caro y no creo que esté bien dejar bandejas de carne llenas para tirar a la basura...

Decepcionante! Muchos errores, la comida ha tardado muchísimo tiempo desde el primer plato y entre el primero y segundo. En total 2 horas! Nos han dicho que se han equivocado pero sin disculparse, ni han tenido un pequeño detalle de no cobrar los cafés u ofrecer un xupito. El personal parece no tener demasiada experiencia o es incompetente. (No se puede responder un "qué?"a un cliente.) Nosotros queríamos hacer un arroz caldoso pero nos han obligado a hacer el menú de 56€ cuando en el momento de la reserva no lo han avisado. La comida nada del otro mundo, correcta sin más. Le faltaba chup chup, el rape quemado y el coulant de chocolate frío. En fin, nada recomendable!

It was our first and last time at this place. How in the world did they manage to get a Michelin star? Everything from food to service was 🤮 Too bad I didn't read recent reviews before we went. My friend had an upset stomach after their food. Apparently it used to be the place but not anymore. What a shame... REPLY TO THE OWNER´S REPLY: Thank you for your kind response! What a relief - it´s not a star, just a recommendation! It´s interesting how you´re saying that my friend didn´t eat at your place... Perhaps it was an imaginary friend that I brought with me and paid for her lunch? There is no way there were 120 people having lunch there. The place wasn't even half full. The plates were dirty and chipped, ensalada rusa tasted funny in the middle and I stopped eating it when I realised it wasn't fresh. Waiters were clumsy and unprofessional. They brought food but not the cutlery. Twice. We tried to call them but were unsuccessful - they were busy chatting. I had to get up and take cutlery from another table. Ikea style. I could continue the list... It's not the first negative review you received and I never give negative reviews without a very good reason because I care about the business and people who are involved. But in your case I have changed my review from 2 star to 1 star because instead of listening to people who took time to come to your place and paid money for that, you choose to be obnoxious.
