Surprisingly good. Great service. The woman there spoke all the languages. We ordered the tomato salad with mozzarella the tortilla Spanish omelette and the special hamburger. It was all delicious. The service is very well thought out. Its self serving. You order on the counter pay and wait for you number to be called. Another person will bring you the knife, forks and stuff. Toilet is clean and the Musik is nice. Not loud at all. You can have a normal conversation. Beautiful view of the see and the beach. Did I mention that the food was great?

You can skip the currywurst... The view is simply fantastic, but the music was unfortunately very loud, so you had to shout to be heard. On the positive side... The garlic shrimp were really tasty, but they lacked a dip. The squid rings were also great. Water for 2.50 is really heavy, we're talking about water!!! My conclusion: you can do it :)

What I can't understand is that there are people so irresponsible (spinachis) that they are bothered by having to wear a mask in these times of so much contagion. I tell these people that if they get infected, they should be paying for public health care, not the rest of the Spanish people.

In reality, it's not self-service; there's simply no table service and you have to order at the bar. The staff is very paranoid about the mask issue. Somewhat unpleasant. It's not necessary to take things to the point of utter ridiculousness. Like forcing you to put your mask back on after you've paid to walk 4 meters from the table where you ate (outside!) to reach the first step to descend from the platform. Absolutely ridiculous.

We wanted to go because it was the closest place to the beach where we were staying, and the reviews looked good, but we left disappointed. The service was very good. The guy who greeted us was very friendly and explained the self-service theme, which is very similar to something we would find in England. The food honestly left a lot to be desired. We ordered the special cheeseburger; the meat was frozen, and it didn't taste very good. We also ordered the squid baguette, which also lacked flavor. We didn't want to try the tapas because we saw them at the table next to us, but they didn't look very appetizing. The view is great from the bar, and there's music playing all the time. In conclusion, if you're German or English, this place will suit you because it's something they're used to. However, if you're Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or even from somewhere in Latin America (I mention this because I've tried some very good dishes there), I recommend looking for more options if you want to satisfy your palate.

A useful place to be. But... When I got there, the restaurant was taken over by a large group of rowdy German youths – they were jumping on the tables, howling uncontrollably (perhaps it was singing), throwing beer around, someone smashed a bottle... We didn't order anything at all. The supposed manager, who was very rude, told us that people had to park, eat, and leave because there's a parking lot across the street that charges €5 (and only in cash). So, goodbye forever. I'm tired of rude and ill-mannered restaurant owners. Luckily, there are places on the island with much nicer service that don't treat customers like animals, which is what we found later on the other side of the island in Cala Ratjada.

ATTENTION!!! I'm not one for negative reviews, but in this case, it's necessary. The "restaurant" isn't really a restaurant; it's a self-service restaurant, uncomfortable, with few options, and poorly set up... The self-service aspect seems more like an improvisation than something intended from the start. This is understandable because it allows them to minimize staff (a significant savings), but it's poorly set up, with hardly any options, and it's uncomfortable. The tables are wooden picnic tables, arranged in rows, with no chairs or backrests. This is fine if you want to let people leave quickly, but not at all recommended if you want to rest or have a coffee after lunch. The menu is short, understandable because it's the result of their experience, but being a self-service restaurant, it's striking, to say the least... Especially considering they rely on frozen foods and the kitchen can't be too busy if they do everything with a deep fryer and griddle. The prices are the icing on the cake... not expensive, but the next best thing... Here's the list and a photo of the "special" burger, which is frozen, like the fries, and is nothing more than meat, lettuce, some onion, a slice of cheese... Everything, fries included, served on a dessert plate... I recommend you see the photo and the comparison with the ketchup packet. Anyway, this is a warning. Beware, there are no other options in Cala Agulla; maybe that's what's keeping them going. *** Additional edit *** You only have to look at the owner's comments to see the origin of this. A little self-criticism wouldn't hurt. But if I don't return... Case closed.

The waiter wiped the table with a stinking cloth – luckily, the smell dissipated after a moment. The Bolognese was like something from a cheap milk bar, not drained enough of the cooking water, so it floated on the plate. There wasn't much sauce, and it was bad, which (obviously) mixed with the water from the bottom of the plate, creating a tomato soup swill. The hamburger wasn't outstanding, but it was better. There was no soap in the restroom... not that it was over – it was just gone – so, how can I put it – for the 21st century – shock and disbelief. I think there are plenty of nice restaurants in the nearby town. The only plus was the live concert – the guys were good.

I'm not a fan of bad reviews, but I'd like to share today's so everyone can form their own opinion. We were there five years ago. The food was average, the service unfriendly. It's self-service, and the waiters don't have much to do. We didn't understand the unfriendliness even then. However, we wanted to give the restaurant a second chance today and went there with two adults and two children. There were three tables free, and a fourth had just become free; two people were sitting at it with two small plates! As this table was the best, we sat there. A waiter came over, gesticulating wildly and saying (in Spanish, and stupidly I could understand him): There are three tables free here, but of course, you have to sit here. Of course I'll be happy to clean your table! Reluctantly, he wiped the table once, and I remind you again: it's self-service here. Apart from wiping the table, he had nothing to do, and he would have had to do that for the next guests anyway! He told us it was self-service and we could clear our plates away later, and then he left! Did you notice something? Exactly, there was no hello or warm welcome! A glance to the right and left at the food at the neighboring tables and the high prices (fries €6.00 ​​or pan and aioli €7) made us get up again and walk the few steps to the much friendlier, higher-quality, and even cheaper chiringuito restaurant at the beginning of Calla Agulla! We won't give this restaurant a third chance! It's a shame, because the location is perfect for a restaurant, and being nice doesn't cost money!
