No nos esperábamos comer tan bien por estar en una zona tan turística pero nos guiamos por las reseñas de Google y fue todo un acierto. Estaba todo muy pero que muy bueno. La paella ciega en su punto con un sabor tremendo. El tumbet de verduras lo mismo, muy bien cocinado y con sabor intenso. El alioli para acompañar el pan también fue un vicio, no podíamos dejar de comer...(fue el mejor que probamos en Mallorca porque suelen ser más suaves y a nosotros nos gusta más así). No podíamos más y no probamos postres, pero por ganas no fue.. El personal muy amable, nos sirvieron todos los platos en tiempo y los precios están muy bien. Merece la pena, sin duda recomendamos este sitio que ha hecho que viviéramos una de nuestras mejores comidas en la isla.

Súper lugar! La comida muy rica, con muchas opciones. La paella muy buena, y los spaghetti vegetarianos también. Comimos dos entradas, plato principal, dos postres y vino. 4 personas, gastamos €150. Hicimos reserva unas horas antes y no tuvimos que esperar

We had the most incredible steaks here. We had the filet, one with a red wine sauce which was incredible. The other with a peppercorn sauce which we asked for as an addition. The vegetables and potatoes were also really tasty. It was a very busy restaurant so I would advise booking

We went there without a reservation and they told us to wait like an hour for a table. It was ok you have what to there until the table is ready. We ordered a paella ( a portion is for 2 people, in the menu the price is 26 euro but is for 1 person, so in the end you have to pay 52 euro ) and a see food pasta ( 22 euro ). The food and service is great. We couldn’t finish the food there so they were nice to make it a to go :)) We really like it. Definitely deserves it.

We arrived around 8, they had no tables but they were able to get us an 845 reservation. Glad we waited! This was the best meal we’ve had on our vacation in Spain. The paella ciega was exceptional! Tomato soup was fantastic as well! Sangria was a bit sweet for my taste but may be a preference thing. Service was excellent as well!

The best place in Cala D’Or!!! I can’t even describe how good the food was. Everything was amazing: food, service, atmosphere. I really recommend trying paella, Bolognese, sangria and chicken croquettes. If you want to try actually delicious and fresh sea food, it is a MUST. I would like to say thank you to the hostess/manager for giving us the best tables even without reservations. With big love from Belarusian girls! RECOMMEND!

An absolute must visit. One of two most favorite restaurants I’ve eaten at Cala d’Or during my trip. Everything from starters to mains, from seafood to meat was always incredible, fresh and very well cooked. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. I never had an issue to get a table, but can get busy during later dinner times.

A perfect meal at @cantrompe.restaurante. We saw this a few nights ago and it looked packed!! 🫨 So we booked in for tonight. I had a Mallorcan delciacy: Majorcan style cod 🐟 This was DELCIIOUS!!! I didn’t know what was gonna show up but I was very impressed with this! It was a very lightly battered cod, with potato’s and a selection of vegetables in a tomato sauce. This was honestly amazing. They won a Michelin star back in 2012, and for a good reason! ⭐️ I also had a tomato soup for starters which was probably the nicest tomato soup I’ve ever had. Tomato’s were so tasty and the croutons on top was a nice touch. Perfect meal!!! 11/10! Follow @eat.withsarah for more food reviews!!

The paella is AMAZING! Highly recommend getting it - we got the “blind” paella which has no shells and it was way more than enough food for 2 people. The calamari was good but with the paella, we definitely felt like we overordered. Service is fine - a little slower with checking on us a few times when we needed things such as the bill or ordering. But all in all, it’s a great location and the food is DELICIOUS. Definitely would come back for the paella alone!!

Amazing paella, great service and overall a great experience. All food was delicious and there was live music being played across the square which really added to the atmosphere. Great location too. The bread rolls with garlic mayo and caramelised onions, seafood paella (generous portions) and vegetarian pasta were all delicious. Would highly recommend.

I had 2 meals here. The service couldn't have been more friendly, they made me feel comfortable eating alone, and the food was delicious. From the way the staff interacted with the customers, it seemed many people return year after year, and I can understand why. This restaurant feels uniquely Spanish in Cala d'Or. Make a reservation or be prepared to wait. This place is popular.

Amazing fresh seafood! The bread and garlic butter mayo with caramelized onions is to die for, the rolls come out hot. The prices were higher than what Google showed but only by a few euros. Still reasonable pricing. Recommend the cod with Majorcan vegetables. We came back for this another night!

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time and very reasonably priced. The croquettes to start were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, followed by the sensational roasted lamb shoulder and suckling pig, with meat that just fell off the bone and had gorgeous flavors! I heard the blind paella was incredible too. To finish, the Crema Catalana was simply outstanding. I cannot fault this meal and will definitely be back before my trip ends! Five stars!

The staff here is very friendly, smiling and attentive. The food is truely delicious and coves in good sizes. Also their Sangria is worth trying. Can only recommend it

Muy buen sitio para ir a comer si estáis en la zona de Cala d’Or. El local esta muy cuidado y el ambiente es agradable, nosotros estuvimos en la terraza. La comida pedimos ensalada con queso cabra y entrecot al punto. La comida en general buena. La atención fue amable y la espera entre platos no fue demasiada. Recomiendo.

Fuimos guiados por las reseñas y por recomendación de gente local y no nos equivocamos. El local es bonito, los camareros siempre atentos de que no nos faltara nada, la comida de calidad y los precios,altos como los de la zona, pero justificados por la calidad de su producto. El calamar estaba espectacular, mi pareja pidió un solomillo a la pimienta y también estaba muy bueno, platos abundantes. Especial mención a su pan con alioli, buenísimo. Muy recomendado.

El lugar esta muy bien, tiene una terraza grande y amplia y también interior muy acogedor. El servicio estuvo bien, aunque hubieron algunos fallos en la comanda. Pedimos fideuá y aunque no esta hecha con el fideo fino como siempre la he comido estaba muy rica. Pedimos unos calamares a la andaluza y trajeron chipirones pero tambien estaban riquisimos.

Para ser un lugar de playa está muy bien. Hemos pedido un escalope y un bistec a la pimienta. La comida muy rica. Recomendaría si están por la zona.

Excellent service from a friendly staff. Place gets busy so reservation is recommended. Went for the paella and fried baby calamari which were excellent. The paella needed an extra crisp, granted it was ordered with lobster which is easy to overcook but could be balanced as saw others with regular seafood paella and was about the same.

Went here after reading all the good reviews. We started with the baby squids, really nice, some of the best we've had whilst on holiday. For the mains we had lamb shoulder, suckling pig and seafood pasta. The pasta arrived first, looked a bit odd as there was so much veg in it. Ho hum we thought, that must be the style of seafood pasta. But then after delving deeper into the pasta, it was discovered that no seafood existing throughout the sauce. We told the waiter and this was sent back. Our other mains arrived in the mean time. My son had the suckling pig and found it delightful. I had the lamb. I went to stab what looked like the lamb meat with my fork, but to my shock discovered this was nothing but bone. Urgently I prodded each part of the lamb desperately seeking out the tender lamb meat I had been promised, but very little was found. My son and I had almost finished our dishes by the time my partners seafood spaghetti arrived. Bland and tasteless was the verdict given. Overall the night started with such promise and ended in disappointment. Like many of the restaurants found in the busy area, they all look very enticing, but looks can be deceiving. Won't be going back.

El servicio sin más pero de entrante pedimos pan cristal con tomate y jamón ibérico y el jamón era como cualquier jamón serrano embasado que compras en el supermercado para desayunar o hacer un bocata de emergencia, muy malo. Es un restaurante en zona muy turística pero no entiendo porqué engañar al turista de esa manera. 17€ el entrante. Después pedimos una paella ciega para dos y bueno no estaba mala pero tampoco es la mejor que he comido ni de lejos. Si no tienes donde caer pues te salva pero para dos de 60€ no te baja.

Hour long wait without a reservation. It looked really popular and highly rated but nothing stood out to us besides the salt crusted sea bass and scallops. Paella was soggy, not much flavor and no crispy bottom.

Food was average I ordered a tomato pasta, and the pasta was overcooked not to mention the waitress dropped my bottle of Coke all over me threw an apology my way and two of the cut their colleagues started laughing, totally unprofessional. The owner seemed lovely and of course not his fault, accidents happen but the aftermath wasn’t professional at all. The rest of the service was OK atmosphere was fantastic but the food wasn’t so great. The fried calamari had bits of plastic in it but at this point so much it happened. I didn’t even have the energy to complain. Also, who wants to complain on holiday… not me. Added some photos of the food for reference.

Una experiencia pésima. Estuvimos mucho tiempo esperando en la puerta del restaurante sin que nadie nos atendiera. Al final, tuvimos que sentarnos por nuestra cuenta para que nos hicieran caso. En ese momento, una camarera nos recibió de manera muy descortés y, con evidente sarcasmo, nos preguntó si teníamos reserva. Respondimos que no, y con una mueca nos indicó que antes de sentarnos deberíamos haber entrado a preguntar si había disponibilidad, aunque no había absolutamente nadie en la entrada para recibirnos. En resumen, nos hicieron sentir culpables por su propia falta de organización. Decidimos marcharnos de este restaurante vacío, que además no ofrecía nada especial.

La peor paella que he comido. Sin sabor y puro colorante. Y 20 euros por persona, una vergüenza. El camarero ni nos preguntó si nos había gustado porque era obvio que era mala. Pedimos paella para 2 y éramos 3 y dejamos de lo mala que era. Una desilusión.
