El ambiente es muy bonito, con una decoración única y muy acogedor, perfecto para disfrutar con amigos. La comida… simplemente espectacular, todo lo que probamos estaba lleno de sabor y súper bien presentado. Y el personal, encantador, siempre pendientes sin agobiar. ¡Una experiencia de diez!

A truly delightful dining experience at Restaurant Diferent From the moment we arrived, my partner and I felt genuinely welcomed. The atmosphere at Restaurant Diferent is friendly, warm, and vibrant — a perfect setting for a relaxing evening out. The drinks menu is wide, with so many tempting options that it was honestly hard to choose! The food menu is equally generous without being overwhelming, and it caters beautifully to a range of diets. As a vegetarian, my partner had plenty of delicious options, and as an omnivore, I was just as spoiled for choice. 😉 Our food was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The service throughout was attentive and kind — we felt looked after without ever being rushed. Even the dishes we saw (and smelled!) from nearby tables made us want to come back just to try more. Overall, a fantastic experience. We highly recommend Restaurant Diferent and will definitely return every time we’re in Cala D’Or!

I don’t think excellent is a good enough word to describe Different. The food is just amazing and the cocktails just as good! The quality, service and presentation were spot on every time we ate there. They have learnt their craft to an exceptionally high level and delivered it well every single time. However, it was the care the staff took of me personally that really set them apart from anywhere I visited in Majorca. Different was the only place we visited that seemed to truly understand the seriousness of my severe fish allergy (a touch allergy). The care they took of me was outstanding, well above and beyond expectations, especially at a busy holiday resort. There wasn’t one member of staff that wasn’t fabulous - so friendly and helpful. We tried a few other places during our stay and I had an allergic reaction from one of them. We came back to Different every night of our holiday after that as it really was the only place I felt safe enough to eat. Money can’t buy that kind of care and attention and I can’t thank them enough, I honestly would have been in a very difficult position without them. Every single member of staff was so friendly, kind and caring, it was such a refreshing change to the usual service I experience. Thank you doesn’t cover how grateful my daughter and I were to you all but thank you to the whole team for taking such good care of us - we will definitely be back next time we visit Cala d’or! Even without the allergy situation, the food so is excellent that Different is an absolute must visit restaurant for anyone visiting Cala d’or!

A Meal to Remember! Truly "Different" and Absolutely Worth the Journey. My wife, Sara, and I decided to take a trip down to Cala d'Or from our home in Alcudia last Thursday evening, specifically to visit "Different". We had done a bit of research on Google Maps beforehand, and the restaurant looked promising. I am delighted to say it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. A very helpful and welcoming waitress showed us to our table, and we had a moment to take in the surroundings. The restaurant itself is stunning, with a beautiful design both inside and out that creates a wonderful atmosphere. As lovely as the setting was, the food was undoubtedly the main event. We both opted for dishes from their oriental-style menu. I chose the Pad Thai, which was fresh, flavourful, and absolutely amazing. However, the real star of the show was my wife's belly pork. She was completely blown away, declaring it the best meal she has had in over 20 years of living in Mallorca! That is high praise indeed, and it was clear to see why – the presentation was superb and she savoured every single bite. It is safe to say that our trip was a resounding success. "Different" offers a fantastic dining experience with exceptional food and great service in a beautiful setting. We will certainly be returning the next time we are in the area. Highly recommended!

Had a really great evening here. The menu has so much to choose from and we ordered a wide array of things. All the food was really good. Portion sizes are very big and everything was delicious. The way the food is presented is also beautiful. Cocktails were very well made and reasonably priced too. Our servers were fantastic, so welcoming and friendly. Absolutely loved this place; the ethos, the vibe, the food & the service! The decor is really cool and seating comfortable with plenty of outdoor space for eating al fresco. We stopped here for lunch and service was super quick by really friendly staff. I had the Magic tuna Salad and my sister had Pad Thai. Both were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place and it’s nice for a few photos too!

From start to finish this was a great experience. Service was very friendly but not overbearing. I think we scared some of the wait staff because we spoke in Spanish, but all good fun. All the dishes we ordered were delicious, not over seasoned and freshly prepared. Highly recommend the tempura veg (we shared as a starter) plus the satay and teriyaki. Thank you! Lo mejor sin duda es el Pad Thai. Parece que te lo estás tomando en Tailandia. Las fajitas también muy buenas con todo hecho a la brasa. Lo que no está muy rico es el bao que el pan se quedó duro y los conos tampoco tenían mucho sentido.

Comida muy sabrosa, platos grandes. Personal amable y lugar bonito y tranquilo. No me ha gustado que en los platos hay ingredientes que no aparecen listados en la carta... por el resto todo genial.

The waitress managed to find us an outside table for our party of 4 even though they were very busy. We got the nachos to share as a starter which was enough as it was a large portion and wete very nice with the homemadeguacamole. The pizza and the ribs were nice but the tuna in the salad was raw and the chicken in the fajitas was all fatty and did not taste very good.

Llegamos y nos sentaron muy rápido, adaptándonos una mesa para nosotros ya que éramos muchos. La atención fue muy buena durante todo momento, sobretodo por parte de una chica rubia que sonreía mucho y resultaba muy maja. Estuvimos esperando a los entrantes algo normal en un sitio tan concurrido y un día de "fiesta" en el pueblo. El problema fue a la hora de traer los platos principales, ya que incluso los que estaban al lado pidieron cuando nosotros ya nos habíamos comido los entrantes y nos trajeron la comida cuando ellos habían acabado de comer. No solo fue eso, alguno de los platos (como la hamburguesa) llegaron completamente fríos o quemados (como parte de los nachos). Las costillas estaban muy buenas y eran muy abundantes, destacaría este plato sobre todos los demás. Decepcionante. Vinimos a cenar porque tenía buenas reseñas y opciones sin gluten. La comida no se podía comer y nos tuvimos que marchar sin cenar y a una hora complicada porque sobre las 10:30 ya están las cocinas cerradas en los restaurantes de al rededor. Mi pareja pidió una lasaña y yo pedí pasta sin gluten (no les quedaba pizza sin gluten) pedimos también una ensalada para compartir. Tardaron bastante y cuando llegó estaba frío, duro y seco. La ensalada bien, pero 7€ por lechuga y 4 zanahorias es demasiado. Sin embargo, muy amables porque lo comentamos y enseguida nos ayudaron, se disculparon y no tuvimos que pagar por esos platos. Así que por esa parte muy buen servicio!

A bit of a mixed experience. Service was quick and the staff were friendly, which I appreciated. We ordered carbonara, nachos, a bao bun, beer, and tap water. The carbonara was fairly average, though the rest of the food was a little better. The issue came with the water. We specifically asked for tap water twice and both servers said “yes.” What we were given was clearly tap water: an open refillable glass bottle with a cube of ice in a glass. At the end, however, we noticed we had been charged €3.95 each for “Aqua.” When I questioned it, they said they don’t serve tap water. If that’s the case, the staff should be upfront and explain that instead of just agreeing. On top of that, the air conditioning unit was dripping on me, and the fan above was covered in dust, an easy fix but not a great impression. It’s only €8, but if this happens to every customer who asks for tap water, it adds up quickly.

Pedimos unos nachos y no sabía que podían hacer unos nachos tan malos. Traen el “guacamole” en una piedra como si lo hicieran al momento pero eso no era guacamole natural, parecía de los envasados. En la carta decía que llevaba chili con carne pero era BOLOÑESA, enserio? unos nachos con boloñesa, me salieron trozos de zanahoria (como pueden ver en la foto). Deberían quitarle lo de restaurante fusión, ya que no saben ni preparar unos nachos. Por otra parte lo que no nos gustó es que 3 de los camareros que nos atendieron no hablan español.. si vamos a su país tenemos que hablar su idioma y aquí no hablan nuestro idioma?! es de locos. Nos pasó con un camarero rubio y nos habla en inglés, entonces el chico de la barra nos atiende. Después una camarera rubia nos coge el pedido, le hablamos y ella hablaba todo el rato en inglés. Y lo mismo con otra camarera que nos trajo la cuenta. Y se queda el cambio, que era una miseria, pero se lo quedó igualmente. No volveremos.

AVOID - Stopped in here for burnt Gyoza’s and undercooked chicken! 2 welcoming staff were nice, got us a table and we ordered 3 starters and 3 drinks. Gyozas were burnt and covered up with almonds, looked and tasted like the Teflon came off the frying pan, then pink chicken to top it off. The 3rd staff member was rude, told me “it’s not raw it’s part of the chicken” then scurried away with the plates, no amendment to the bill or apology. Plenty of other average restaurants in the area so save yourself the money and stomach issues
