Amazing meal, beautiful place and the staff were fantastic. Went for my birthday meal, I had the chicken & rib combo, partner had the steak & rib combo, both of which were delicious, beautifully cooked and served with salad and chips. Before we left the staff brought out a complimentary share dessert and were singing Happy Birthday as they headed my way. Fantastic and high recommend.

Wir haben hier sowohl Pizza als auch Burger gegessen und beides war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war auch freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein Halben-Stern Abzug, weil es etwas teurer ist als anderswo. Wir haben für das Essen und zwei Cola circa 50€ bezahlt.

Tip top (ich nehme an das war der Chef ….älterer Herr lange Haare und holländischer Akzent) gutes Essen war sehr gut und preis Leistung i.O. Selbstgemachte Pizzen, und das Mixed tappas war für 2 Personen mit mäßigem Hunger voll ausreichend . Kommen gerne wieder 👍

Het was een gezellig en druk bezocht restaurant, met een Nederlandse eigenaar. Er was live muziek en daardoor hing er een leuke sfeer. De kids kregen een kleurplaat en potloden. De porties waren wel heel groot, maar het eten was goed. Het is niet heel goedkoop, maar kwalitatief goed. van mij zouden de porties iets minder groot mogen, zodat er wat minder verspilling is. Maar er zullen zat mensen zijn die het wel opeten. Mijn zoontje had een echte Hollandse pannenkoek, maar miste wel echt de poedersuiker en stroop. Dus dat is nog een kleine tip!

8 dagen Cala d'Or, waarvan drie dagen diner en één keer lunch bij The Pirate club. Dat zegt genoeg toch! Eten was echt heerlijk, normale tarieven. Vooral het personeel maakte het compleet, vriendelijk, gezellig en humor. Aanrader!

BEST MOJITO EVER 🥰 I had here one of the best Mojito Cocktail, really worth the wait, after trying several restaurants and bars. The food is really tasty and the portions are quite large, it is not too pricey and the staff is nice. Would come here next time.

Inmitten des Zentrums von Cala d'Or gelegen hat man das Gefühl, in einer unwirklichen Welt zu sein (Man fühlt sich irgendwie wie in einem Freizeitpark). Es ist wunderschön dort und dieses Restaurant sticht in puncto Qualität der Speisen und Freundlichkeit des Personals hervor. Die ein wenig niederländisch angehauchte Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ob Pizza oder Pasta, ob Steak oder Schnitzel, oder ob kleinere Snacks wie Zwiebelringe oder Champignons oder Tapas, hier ist für jeden etwas dabei. Empfehlen kann ich den Saté-Hähnchenspieß, hier bekommt man den besten Saté-Hähnchenspieß außerhalb der Niederlande. Dem Chef des Restaurants habe ich versprochen, eine positive Rezension zu schreiben, da ich sowohl bei meinen ersten beiden Besuchen 2022, als auch nun bei meinen dritten-fünften Besuchen 2024 sehr begeistert war von der lockeren, freundlichen Art des Personals und der Qualität der Speisen. Wir waren in einem Hotel untergebracht und hatten All inclusive und das Essen im Hotel war ebenfalls gut. Wenn man trotzdem bei zehn Tagen Aufenthalt ganze drei Mal dort hingeht, heißt das schon was. Weiter so! In spätestens zwei Jahren sehen wir uns wieder!

Da das Ambiente so toll aussieht haben wir uns an einem späten Nachmittag entschieden beim Piraten zu essen. Der Service war super! Dieses und weitere Lokale werden von einem holländischen Unternehmer betrieben und das Personal spricht deutsch, englisch, spanisch und holländisch und ist sehr sympathisch! Für unseren Lütten gab's sofort was zu malen. Wir entschieden uns als Vorspeise für Brot mit Aioli und Oliven. Alles besten. Als Hauptspeise haben wir "MixTapas" für 32,50 Euro genommen. Die 1m grosse Platte reicht für 2, sättigt und schmeckt sehr lecker! Optik spielt für mich auch ne große Rolle und es sieht wirklich ansprechend aus. Kann man auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Das Lokal machte einen gepflegten Eindruck und die Sanitäranlagen waren sauber!

Een heerlijke tent waar je goed kan eten. Personeel is grotendeels Nederlands en letten erg op de details. Erg gezellig en komen een leuk praatje maken. De patatjes en spare ribs zijn goed. De biertjes smaken lekker. De salade erbij mag wel wat meer zijn dan alleen blad. Verder perfect.

The Pirate is a popular restaurant that offers a large variety of food options. The staff are friendly and helpful which makes for very good service. I had fillet steak with a side of mushrooms and onions. I ordered mine to be cooked medium to well done. They had on their menu images showing you how your steak would be cooked at the the different options that you could order. Mine was well done not how I had ordered it. However understanding how cooking steak can be very tricky I didn't mention it. Indeed I did enjoy my meal which was presented very well with fries served in a paper cone on the side. My wife chose 2 tapas l. One with muscles in a very pleasant sauce, and the other with chicken wings. Very generous portions these tapas were. They have live music playing at certain days during the week, check which days if you want to eat and enjoy the live music while dining out here.

I stopped by for dinner as I'd heard the ribs were fantastic. Knowing the portions were big I didn't have a starter, just ribs, fries and a beer. There was a choice of sauces for the ribs, Spicey, BBQ, Honey or Honey & BBQ. I went for the Honey & BBQ. The beer came quickly, and it was an ice cold Estrella Dam, which was really refreshing. When the ribs arrived, they were as big as I'd heard they were. A full rack of baby-back ribs, coated in the Honey BBQ sauce. The meat just fell away from the bone, and there was plenty of it. The fries were nice, too. There was also small salad garnish on the plate. The service was great with friendly and attentive staff. The only reason I marked down the atmosphere is that it was early and I was pretty much sat on my own so there was no atmosphere to talk of.

Sehr nettes Personal, ich meine Holländischen Akzent herausgehört zu haben. Essen war sehr lecker und von der Portion ausreichend. Der Preis ist meines Erachtens doch etwas höher als gedacht ausgefallen. Trotzdem kann ich das Restaurant dennoch sehr empfehlen. Hier ist für jeden etwas dabei. Leider mitten in der Fußgängerzone und unter Umständen etwas voll.

Außergewöhnliches Lokal mit freundlicher Bedienung. Schneller Service und gutem solidem Essen. Wir hatten einen Salat und den Mixed Fischteller. Für unsere Tochter gab es eine Kinderpizza. Die Gerichte waren ausgezeichnet. Die Preise sind etwas gehoben, jedoch nicht abgehoben. Preisliches Mittelfeld würden wir meinen. Bei den negativen Bewertungen bleibt immer die Frage, ob der Service darauf aufmerksam gemacht wurde. Damit die Chance bestand, den Fehler zu beheben. Wir waren zufrieden und werden ein weiteres Mal unseren Anker dort werfen. Zweiter Besuch Heute waren wir ein weiteres Mal im Restaurant, um einige negativen Bewertungen auf den Grund zu gehen. Die Begrüßung viel wie am Vortag sehr freundlich aus. Nachdem wir uns einen Platz ausgesucht haben, ging es direkt weiter mit der Bestellung. Wir tranken einen Aperol Spritz und einen leckeren Erdbeer-Lemon Cider. Als Vorspeise bestellten wir Brot mit geräuchertem Lachs. Als Hauptspeise gab es Lachs mit Folienkartoffel sowie Mixed Spareribs, Honig & BBQ.und eine Pizza Margarita Die Vorspeise war okay. Brot mit Räucherlachs halt. Der Lachs mit der Folienkartoffel war richtig lecker und auf den Punkt zubereitet. Die Portion für 19.95€ für eine Touristengegend okay. Die Spareribs mit Pommes waren wirklich eine gute Wahl. Für 20.95€ gab es eine ordentliche Portion. Rezensionen in dehnen von trockenen Rippchen gesprochen wurde, können wir nicht bestätigen. Die Kinderpizza für 7.95€ hat eine gute Größe. Unsere Tochter 2+ wurde satt und war zufrieden. Leider gab es am Schluss einen kleinen Wermutstropfen. Ich fragte nach einem Schnaps. Der Kellner wollte schauen, was es gibt. Leider hat er uns entweder auf den Weg zur Bar völlig vergessen oder unseren Wunsch ignoriert, obwohl immer wieder Augenkontakt bestand. Ein Fauxpas, der gar nicht geht und den Anschein erweckte, als wären die paar Euro mehr nicht wichtig. Schade, so gingen wir, ohne einen Absacker zu trinken. Fazit. Die Meinungen zu den Spareribs teilen wir nicht. An zwei Tagen präsentierten sich Küche und Service solide. Nur die Sache mit dem Schlussgetränk trübt den Gesamteindruck. Die Preise sind typisch Touristengebiete. Das kennen wir nicht anders.

Yummy pizzas and good drinks at the higher price side. All in all very good service. We were a pretty large group and everyone was very understanding and did care about us and even moved some tables around for us. Good experience!

4 Stars is the right note. The restaurant is just good. My bf’s got a steak and said that is was ok…not the best, but not the worst. My carbonara was not the right one (with cream and bacon😱) but it tasted anyway good. It looked also great. But I cannot say, that I would go there once again 🤷‍♀️

Schönes Restaurant mit Innen und Aussensitzplätzen. Gehen auf Unverträglichkeiten ein wie z.B Laktose Intoleranz und ändern so weit wie möglich die Gerichte. Schöne Kinderkarte wo jedes Kind etwas finden sollte. Auf der Karte steht eine Mischung aus Steaks, Asiatisch, Italienisch und Spanisch. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal.

Serveurs très gentils qui essayent de parler français ! Avec carte en différentes langues, pas mal de choix. Ayant pris une entrecôte bleu, la cuisson était loupé avec une cuisson à point voir plus… Ma fille a pris des ribs qui étaient bon ! Ambiance sympa mais sans plus

The Pirate Restaurant is net als een verborgen schatkist aan de boulevard – al word je hier niet op zoek gestuurd met een schatkaart, maar direct vriendelijk aangesproken door kapitein Guido zelf. “Topstuk vlees voor €24,95!” roept hij enthousiast… en ja hoor, hij leverde. Alleen jammer dat het bord er een beetje uitzag alsof de koks hun fantasie op een onbewoond eiland waren vergeten – wat groente en wat patat, en klaar is kees. Mijn zoon had meer geluk: zijn kindermenu zag eruit alsof het rechtstreeks van een kinderfeest op een piratenschip kwam gevaren. Superleuk gedaan! Af en toe klinkt er live muziek, wat het gevoel van een feestelijke avond op zee compleet maakt. Alleen… €4,50 voor een Sprite? Dat is alsof je aan boord €50 betaalt voor een kokosnoot. 😅 Kortom: leuk restaurant, gezellig concept, vlees van topkwaliteit. Maar pas op voor de drankprijzen, die zijn net als echte piraten – ze slaan hard toe.

Vorgestern haben wir einen Tisch mit fester Tischnummer für Heute Abend reserviert. Leider war dieser denn Heute belegt und wir durften an einem Tisch Platz nehmen. Das war schon mal schade. Der Service war ansonsten sehr freundlich und der Chef hat auch einen ausgegeben. Ja leider war das Essen nicht so der Knaller. Das Beste waren noch die Spare Ribs. Die waren schön zart. Das Fleisch ließ sich so vom Knochen abziehen. Die Portion war groß leider war das Ende der Ribs sehr fettig uns somit nicht essbar. Das Schnitzel für knapp 20 Euro war total tot gegart und trocken und die Burger ebenfalls für 20 Euro ( beides ohne Pommes) waren ein Reinfall. Die Burger waren Staub trocken und ein Beef Patty war es auch nicht. Zu den Beilagen gibt es nur eins zu sagen. WUCHER!! Knappe 6 Euro Für eine Portion Pommes ohne Mayo ist ganz schön happig. Für Mayo muss man nochmal 1,50 hin blättern. Einfach alles viel zu teuer für zu wenig Qualität. Wir sehen uns leider nicht wieder.

En vez de llamar a algún compalero que sí que hablaba bien el idioma, nos atiende ella y le costó la vida apuntar un agua sin gas y un coca cola zero. Nos trae el agua, el refresco y una bebida que en carta costaba 10€. nosotros NO la habíamos pedido. Entonces ella se la lleva y viene otra compañera (chica rubia con coleta rubia) y nos pregunta de muy mala manera que si no hemos pedido la bebida con alcohol. Insistimos en no haberla pedido y se la vuelve a llevar. Decir que no tienen ni aire acondicionado, sudando y la chica saca un ventilador roto por el pie que ni siquiera se queda derecho. No sabíamos si llorar o reírnos. Pedimos un combinado de carne y una hamburguesa. Al combinado le faltan cosas, el pan de hamburguesa con sabor a descongelado y se deshacía en las manos. La hamburguesa insípida, muy hecha. El combinado acabó siendo una pechuga de pollo a la plancha y patatas fritas. 52€ nos costó la broma.

Disappointing Experience Due to Poor Hygiene. I recently visited The Pirate, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by significant hygiene issues. Upon entering, I noticed the floors and tables were not cleaned thoroughly. Sticky surfaces, crumbs from previous diners, and bits of food under the tables were quite off-putting, giving the impression that cleanliness was not a priority. The state of the utensils and glassware was another red flag. A couple of my utensils had visible stains and water spots, making me question how well they were being washed. I had to request clean cutlery more than once, which only added to the discomfort. As for the restroom, it was in an unacceptable state. There was an overwhelming odor, and the facilities themselves were poorly maintained, with no soap available. If the restroom was this unhygienic, it left me wondering about the conditions in the kitchen where the food was prepared. While the food was passable, the overall lack of hygiene overshadowed everything else. I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant until they address these serious cleanliness issues. Proper hygiene is non-negotiable for a safe and pleasant dining experience.

Un padre le pidió que no tocara a los niños, pero lo hizo de nuevo. El padre respondió y fue golpeado por el empleado, causando una gran confusión. Un empleado así no debería trabajar en un lugar familiar.

Experiencia Horrible en el Restaurante Pirate El 12 de julio de 2024, a las 21h, tuve una experiencia terrible en el restaurante Piratas en Cala D'or. Un empleado negro y fuerte, que estaba en la calle hablando con los clientes, empujó a mis hijos y amigos, diciéndoles que se movieran. Uno de los padres le dijo que no tocara a los niños, pero el empleado lo hizo otra vez. El padre empujó al empleado, quien luego le dio un puñetazo, creando un gran caos. Un empleado así no debería estar en un lugar donde las familias van a pasar sus vacaciones.
