Excelente experiencia en Soletana Café Santuario. Es un lugar muy agradable y tranquilo, ideal para relajarse un rato y disfrutar de un espacio sumamente acogedor. El paisajismo y la vegetación del lugar están muy bien cuidados, creando un entorno muy bonito que aporta mucha calma y hace que la visita se disfrute aún más. Probamos los frappés y estuvieron deliciosos, muy bien preparados y con excelente sabor. Los precios son bastante justos para la experiencia y el entorno que ofrecen. Como punto a considerar, el menú es algo limitado y no cuenta con demasiada variedad de platillos, por lo que podría mejorar en ese aspecto. Aun así, la atención fue excelente, todo el personal fue muy amable, atento y servicial durante toda la visita. Sin duda, una muy buena opción para tomar café o pasar una tarde tranquila en un lugar hermoso y bien cuidado.

Ce café est ma découverte de Valladoide! De l'extérieur on ne se doute aucunement de ce qui s'y cache derrière. Le petit café est connecté au jardin intérieur de l'hôtel, qui est magnifique!! J'y suis resté de longue heure en guise de refuge, j'y ai travaillé, j'étais à 90% seule sur les lieux, ça mérite d'être découvert. J'ai été très bien servie et tout était délicieux! Une découverte enchanteresse 😍

Ein wunderschönes Café mit tropischem Flair und einer fast meditativen Atmosphäre. Das Cafe gehört zu einem Hotel, dass ich sofort aufkaufen und selbst bewohnen würde, wenn ich könnte. Ein Traum was die Architektur, Einrichtung und Außenanlage betrifft. Dazu noch den leckeren Kaffee und ein Stück Kuchen, himmlisch!

Un conseil, si vous venez, la ensalada de la casa est très bonne, les gars qui servent sont sympa et il y a une bonne ambiance avec la musique. La terrasse à l'arrière n'était pas accessible par contre. Niveau prix, 7€ pour la salade et un café c'est honnête

Pour échapper à un orage, nous nous sommes abriter dans ce petit havre de paix. On a été très bien servi, personnel adorable et très consciencieux. La gauffre et les boissons étaient bonnes et le prix très raisonnable. Allez faire un tour au jardin pour en prendre plein les yeux.

Este es el comentario más objetivo que pude dar. Excelente. Una palabra resume este lugar, desde el momento que entras, la experiencia es genial, siempre es un trato humano, respetuoso y de servicio. Siempre que visito Valladolid paso a este café porque para mi ya es parte de la experiencia. El lugar donde precioso, un santuario que hace honor a su nombre, los cafés y postres son supremos. Si vas a Valladolid, tienes que ir, ademas, para la buena fortuna de todos, es un tesoro a la vista de todos, en la calzada de los frailes. Ahora, ve por tu café.

Increíble sitio para tomar un fresco respiro del calor de la calle, en medio de una jungla de vegetación e incluso un estanque donde mojar los pies.

Todo esta hermoso, un lugar super relajado, con un ambiente único, en áreas verdes, rodeada de árboles, con una alberca, buena música. Por dentro es una casa típica de la región con detalles hermosos. Todo el menú, esta genial, delicioso, diferentes tipos de café y métodos. Buenos precios, más baratos que otras marcas "conocidas".

Un lugar increíble, los helados deliciosos, aun que el helado de mazapán me pareció extra dulce, todo es artesanal.

Sin duda la cafetería más bonita de Valladolid, su jardín es hermoso. Pedimos las bebidas de la casa Morada y Soletana, fueron deliciosas.

The limonada mineral with red fruits was the perfect thirst quencher and our flat white nicely strong, Italian style and not American style 😍 The garden behind the unimposing facade is a beautiful and quiet oasis. Highly recommended to take a break and a deep breath in this café 🌸 If arriving by car you'll have to go around the block to the parking lot in the rear.

Relaxing patio with fish and water fountains. Tasty cafe style food. Local Yucatan items on menu. The Egg with Longaniza Sandwich was great. My kid loved his waffle. And my wife really liked tge vegetarian waffle.

We had breakfast, it was delicious, fresh fruits, yogurt and granola, and the tortas de lomito, so good, fresh orange juice, and coffee. The service personnel are all so friendly and helpful, we recommend the Frappe de chocolate artesanal, pastel de limon and just all the coffees and teas!

Easy to miss, but please don't walk by - this tiny cafe has access to the hidden garden of the hotel next door, and it is a beautiful little escape from the heat of the street. They have a good selection of foods and drinks - definitely try the peanut frappuchino! Very fast WiFi.

Went to this cafe twice while visiting Valladolid. There menu is big and have lots of options. I had got the smoothie bowl which was delicious. The coffee is very good but could be stronger. The service was excellent and very polite. It is in a courtyard, with a pool and lots of plants which I love. Gives a relaxing; spacious feel !

The BEST and I mean best pineapple smoothly. If u love pineapple this is a real treat, if not there are many other options. Food is great too, friendly staff. 🥰 There is a pool and back garden with hammocks to enjoy, loaded with huge iguanas and geckos. Enjoy the sounds of the birds while you have your lunch and get away from the heat for a bit. Below one of the many we enjoyed: one pineapple and one chocolate smoothy, topped off with a kitkat. Yummers!

This is such a hidden gem, lush green, delicious food and even better coffee. I can definitely tell, because I work in coffee for several years now. I ordered the Crêpe de la Casa with Papaya and Cheese and a Chemex coffee. Highly recommend!

The best coffee we ever had in Mexico! Amazing seating area covered with greenery. They also have vegan waffles. Amazing staff, very beautiful outdoor space, there are even squirrels and iguanas living they life in the garden. Highly recommended!

Great time having a frozen coffee in this nice little cafe. You enter the main street, and behind you'll find a little backyard connected to the hotel. Green and fresh, the perfect spot to relax after a day visiting around. Furthermore, it's directly on the Street de los Frailes, which is one of the most coloured one in the city! The staff is very friendly and aware about your needs! It's a great deal for the city and will bring you away from the touristic places of the city. I would definitely recommend this place.

Cappuccino and latte were very good as well as a smoothie bowl and waffles. They have a nice garden at the back where you can enjoy you coffee with a view.

El lugar está dentro de un hotel boutique, es precioso. Te sientes en medio de la naturaleza y de una hermosa arquitectura adaptada al lugar. Tiene una piscina muy bonita. El café es bueno, sin embargo el menú de desayunos es muy limitado.

El café se encuentra en una de las calles más atractivas de Valladolid. Es un jardín adyacente a un hotel con una estética encantadora .Cuenta con un pequeño estanque de lirios y una piscina que adornan el jardín. El café es muy bueno y tiene opciones variadas para cualquier gusto, aunque el precio es algo elevado comparado con las cafeterías de los alrededores (una taza puede costar hasta 60 pesos) sin embargo el precio sí se justifica con el sabor. La comida es buena con moderada variedad y a precios accesibles. Un punto negativo es que tanto los alimentos como las bebidas demoran un tiempo considerable para ser preparados; por lo tanto recomiendo la visita acompañado de tu pareja, tus amigos, tu familia, o de un buen libro.

Una pequeña entrada con acceso a un jardín muy agradable, con grandes árboles que dan sombra y plantas que nos transmiten tranquilidad, tienen un estanque con lirios y pecesitos y otro a modo de chapoteadero (sin plantas). Las bocinas permiten escuchar música de fondo agradable pero sin tapar el sonido de la naturaleza. La comida es rica, con opciones variadas, waffles, crepas, tortas, fruta y una amplia variedad de bebidas frías y calientes. Yo probé el café morada y lo recomiendo (miel, cocoa, leche y expresso), la crepa de jalapeño tiene suficiente queso crema (tal vez demasiado, pero para mí fue perfecta). Las mesas están muy espaciadas lo cual en este momento se agradece y la atención es muy buena, el personal atento y muy servicial.

Such a cute setting, the garden is super calm. Delicious smoothie bowl for 90 pesos (as of April 2023) and you can choose your toppings, which is a big plus. Service could be improved a bit, it was slightly slow (e.g forgotten drink) and we had to ask for our empty plates to be cleared of the table because they were not picking them up but that’s a minor detail. The waitstaff was very friendly though. I recommend this place.

I would have given it 5 stars but.... the food was great, atmosphere/ garden was 5 star, but when I was done with my food, I wanted to order several drinks, after waiting for some time for a server to come out, I preferred the bill. I then proceeded to wait 10 min for the bill. I then had to walk into the cafe, to ask for the bill. Very disappointing because the food place and were great. The servers seem friendly but never came back to ask us if we wanted more.

To be honest it looks cute (nice garden), but the food and coffee were not amazing (not the coffee like in the pictures). It was just fine. If you want to get good coffee, a little further a cross the street is a nice coffee place (a proper barista)!

Beautiful setting but the service is seriously bad. I came alone, was ignored until I walked to the bar myself to order, and then waited another approx 15min for a simple espresso to arrive. The garden is lovely - but perhaps you have to come with a group or so to be actually seen as a customer? Perhaps they just had a bad day. Do come if you have a lot of time, and want quietness

I have to update my review since the initial discovery. The garden remains to be a beautiful zen, however in well over a year I haven’t had a good coffee there - always comes piping hot and impossible to drink, milk is burnt and cappuccino is not what it should be. Please train your barista 🙏🏼 Great place for a coffee. It's hard to find a proper cup of cappuccino in Valladolid - this place makes it just perfect, lovely cup, ideal size, medium roast - just what it should be. Peaceful Oasis in their backyard too. Haven't tried yet other things on their menu, but it is my new go to coffee place for sure!

We ended up visiting here by mistake. The backyard was nice but it was too hot, so we didnt want to stay and go somewhere else, but still we decided to get a cold brew to go. I dont know what was the thing they served but it wasnt definitely coffee. It was horrible. I dont think I would ever go there again.

Schöner Garten, aber unfassbar langsamer Service und mäßig gutes Essen. Haben ca 50 Min auf essen und Getränke gewartet. Dann kam meine Smoothie Bowl mit falschen toppings und wurde auch nicht zurückgenommen. Geschmacklich dennoch nicht schlecht. Die Waffel mit Avocado war aber leider kalt und ungewürzt. Schade. Service spricht kein Englisch, sodass man die englische Speisekarte dann wieder für die Bestellung auf Spanisch übersetzen musste.

Really enjoyed the coffee and the scenery of the cafe is amazing, but I found one of the staff members quite rude. I didn’t feel comfortable sitting here on my laptop and felt as if they were in a hurry to get me to leave.

Excelente café, bebidas y la comida estaba rica. El problema es la calidad y velocidad de servicio, esperamos una hora por dos tortas mientras otros comensales extranjeros recibían sus órdenes primero.

Fuimos a desayunar, éramos los únicos en todo el hotel. Pedimos 3 crepas, dos llegaron bien, la 3a tardo unos 15 minutos mas que las primeras 2. Pedimos 2 cafés americanos, uno bien normal, el segundo traía un huevo duro al fondo. Nos dieron una taza usada, no usada por un cliente anterior, sino que alguien la uso para comer algo como un consome con huevo. Y en esa taza nos sirvieron el café, no tenemos foto por que se llevaron la taza y la lavaron al instante. Fui a preguntar por algun encargado de cocina y me dijeron que no tenían gerente. En recepción solo me dijeron que no creían que nos hubiesen dado una taza sucia, salio el de cocina y acepto que probablemente habían usado una taza sucia para el.cafe, pero hizo énfasis en que todo nos lo iba a cobrar por que estaba consumido, solo el café no (yo nunca me opuse a pagar ni exigí qué me hicieran algun descuento) por supuesto que el café no lo iba a pagar. Pero se pusieron muy a la defensiva desde el principio, muy mala actitud y seguían diciendo que no creía que la taza estaba sucia. Hasta que aceptaron qué tomaron la taza de un lugar donde no debieron de. Que asco sus estándares de limpieza, que vergüenza no fijarse donde sirven las bebidas. Me gustaría que el encargado de la cafetería o del hotel esté enterado de este suceso, por que al no haber un responsable hoy ahí, dudo que le hagan saber. Le recomiendo que cheque las cámaras de la cocina.

Beautiful place but there’s a catch: after we were given the menu and being served our two Cappuccini, the waitress declined our food order as food was not served until 4 or 5pm. Contrary to the available photos on Google Maps, the Cappuccino was inferior. By no means comparable to a proper Barista Cappuccino. Update: after seeing our disappointment, the waitress agreed to take a waffle order. Update 2: the waffle machine was somewhat causing issues. The waffle order took 30 minutes. Come on, you can do better than that.

Please avoid this place, looks way better than it is. Very bad experiece: very very slow service (we had to take the menus ourselves, the terrace was empty by the way), smoothie could not be drunk (they have no idea how to prepare one), when confronting the staff with our bar experience they were not able to address our concerns at all (because they are very poorly trained).

This place is simply a disaster! Starting with service. You will be entitled to an abominable service with no smile and no desire to serve you. The staff seemed completely disinterested and seemed to prefer to be elsewhere. Waiters make no effort to speak or even understand you in English. With them it will be Spanish or nothing. They were 4 behind the bar and none knew what to do, it looked like none had been trained. When it comes to orders, first of all expect constant order errors and missing products than the card. Also expect a wait time comparable to Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes in grand prix. Tell yourself that even the most patient customers ended up losing patience in front of this gloomy and disorganized atmosphere. Regarding the bill, I hope you have nothing planned for the next 2 weeks because you will have to wait a century before having at least one contact with the server who I remind you is still lost behind wire bar. In short to avoid, average service, drink not good, waiting time too long.
