The service was excellent despite the busy restaurant. They explained the menu thoroughly, and I’ll definitely be back.
Christian was an amazing waiter. He gave us great recommendations and helped us pick our food fast. He stayed talkative and kept the vibe fun the whole time. He checked on us a lot and made sure we had what we needed. Super nice, easy to talk to, and made the meal better. Ask for Christian if you come here.
The food here was great! I really loved the spicy pork bulgogi and the spicy beef belly. The service was great, my server Eduardo was very polite and he had great reccomendations. 10/10, would eat again
$50.00 dollars per person will get you all the protein you can eat and a drink. The protein kept coming we had the grill and table full. Customer service was excellent. The have vegan items too..Great place to enjoy friends and family. No waiting and plenty of free parking.
Probably one of the best Korean BBQ places that I've been to in my life. The food is good, with a lot of variety. I liked the marinated squid, and chicken. For those not familiar with these kinds of places, they bring you raw/marinated meats and you will be cooking your own food. Don't come if you don't enjoy the process. Also they give you all of these great sides (including kimchi) to mix things up.
I enjoyed the food and the service. The waiter was always ready for the next order. Busy most of the time but no wait to be seated. Came to celebrate my son’s birthday. First time ordering by our selves. With the recommendation of our server the food was delicious and the choices very flavorful. Highly recommend.
This is a great place to come with friends. I always enjoy coming here to chill with drinks. I'm not much of a meat cooker but luckily we always have someone who loves to cook meat in our friend groups. You get all you can eat in 1 hour. There's also the premium option for a little more for your table too.
Food is good, but the service is very slow. Heard they are short-staffed, so customers better order more each time in case you won’t be able to find a waiter for a while—our waitress is nice though! Additionally, there are only five rice sticks for a dish so it’s kind of funny, but it does taste good!
Update 05/03/25: they now offer limited items for pickup or delivery through Uber eats and door dash! . . Update 10/23/21: called to place pickup order and was told they no longer do pickup or takeout. Bummer . . . Update 3/19/21: Dine-in is now available, however no more lunch AYCE pricing, only dinner price all day now $25/person. Download their app and sign up to receive $5 off your next visit. . . . Got in Fri afternoon, right before lunch service is over. Server was attentive, constantly checking on us and asking if everything was ok and if we needed to order more items. It was our first time so not really sure what to order, the grill doesn't cook as fast as we'd like so we ate the banchan and salad which are no no when you do AYCE cuz they fill you up! Next time, I'd definitely start with seafood (cooks faster on grill) and other cooked items so we don't get tempted eating the sides. The Korean fried chicken was superb - loved the crunchiness and sauce. The jap chae was very flavorful too. Beef bulgogi was good as well. Disappointed with the pork belly, Cajun chicken and Cajun shrimp, felt a little bland for my taste. Wish we have more space in tummy to try all items, we'll be back! Price is definitely on the higher end but they do have a lot of options and no attitudes from servers when you constantly order more items :D There are fine prints on the menu: limit 2 hours. We were done, as in completely stuffed by the end of first hour. And there is a fine of $5 for unfinished / wasted food.
This place has 30 options for their Regular option which is more than I’m used to getting. There wasn’t a higher tier option but with the amount of choices I had, I don’t feel like one was necessary. The list includes seafood options of shrimp and octopus which I usually see on other restaurants top tier option. Staff was attentive and friendly. I liked that they had a grill case to carry the hot grill they removed to protect customers when walking about but at the same time some seemed a little lax with how they handled them. Did have an issue splitting check in two
This restaurant is fair, it's more of a novelty than a fine dining experience, the meats they give you to cook aren't the best quality and the cocktails don't have very good quality liquor either. Service was ok. I may go back sometime in the very distant future.
The long bone beef rib and pickled cucumbers were delicious. I also like the Cajun shrimp. We ordered Chamisul soju and was brought the JJIN brand. We reminded the server that we asked for a specific soju and told us they ran out. We looked past it. Not sure of the exhaust systems in the restaurant but the smoke from the tables were a little overwhelming getting into my hair and clothes. I believe the windows were open and were blowing air towards a certain side of the restaurant which made the experience a bit displeasing. Menu is very misleading with prices. Overall experience was subpar. Will not return. Pretty upset about the explanation of prices and menu set up.**** ***I would have just appreciated a clear written and verbal communication of a set price on meal. We asked repeatedly if it was $20.99 per person (we obviously were not clearly understanding it was actually $30.99 all day plus $20 per person) because we were shocked about how cheap it was. The server rushed and was like “yea yea yea yea all the protein you want until you’re full”. I don’t think consumers would have an issue with paying $50 for the experience. Just be clear. No need for corporate tricks.
This was my first visit of Gen. Ten of my coworkers and I went there for lunch. Our waitress did not clearly explain the menu, options, and ordering process. First she took everyone's order but mine. I called her back and placed an order for short rib. First they brought everyone rice but me. I asked for rice and they brought it. By the time short rib arrived, rice was cold. They brought scissors to cut the short rib. That was hard since it was a bone-in short rib. Also my hands became contaminated touching raw beef. Chopsticks are not best way to eat short rib with. I didn't ask for knife and forks but I should have. Short rib was ok. I also tried someone else's chicken. It was too spicy for me. They did not replace the grill top soon enough so I was getting lots of smoke on my suit and hair. Give the 2.5 star out of 5.
Went in yesterday. It was busy. One of the grills at our table didn't work, so we had one grill for 6 people. Two people at the table requested premium and the others decided not to have premium. IT WAS NEVER DISCLOSED THAT THE WHOLE TABLE HAD TO ORDER PREMIUM IF ONLY TWO PEOPLE WANTED IT. Food was slow to come out. We asked for steaks and enough brisket for 3 people, we got one steak and brisket for 1. We had to ask a few times for forks, and the server seemed frustrated and finally brought 6 forks (we had already gotten 4 we only needed one) and a bunch of napkins. Took forever to get the drinks. Never got offered refills.Took forever to get appetizers. We asked for one appetizer without sauce and it came WITH the sauce. Well, when the check came, we had been charged 5 premiums and 5 drinks (the drinks with premium are supposed to be included). I mentioned it to the server and he said that if two people at the table want premium, the whole table has to be charged for it. I asked why that hadn't been disclosed and he said that everyone knows that's the policy. I decided to ask the manager about it and the manager adjusted the charge to the two premiums and took off the other three. The server seemed to be very frustrated or maybe was just having a bad day... And now I know for next time that the whole table has to order the same package.
If you love K-BBQ and love being rushed to get out so the next group of patrons can take your table you have found the place! Things to note before stepping in here: 1-your entire party will need to be with your group. You will not be seated even if someone in your party is using their restroom. 2-you have about 45 - 60 mins to scarf your meal before they shut your grill off. 3-staff takes there time to come by to take your next order. So we found ourselves waiting to place our order quit a bit. 4-the meats are well seasoned. Over all dining experience solid 2.
Me and my g/f stopped by this afternoon for lunch, we were seated without a wait and were quickly greeted by our server and got our drinks ordered, I got water and she ordered strawberry lemonade and was told refills were not free (no problem I'm already paying $25+ per plate) the price of 20$ on Google is absolutely incorrect, conveniently. We ordered the all you can eat meat, we were immediately greeted with dirty utensils (see photos). Told the server and he took care of it, was brought shrimp we never ordered, server took care of it again. After cooking several portions they swapped out our grill with a new dirty grill (see photos), server apologized and took care of it again. To top this all off I'm watching another server fill containers of sauce and putting lids on them, she drops 4 or 5 on the floor, looks around picks them up and starts putting them over containers. It's kinda gross no? On top of dirty utensils and grills it rubbed me the wrong way with this place. So, for $25+ a plate with food I ultimately cook myself, the 2 stars are for me. Clean your restaurant up and stop price gouging customers with sub-standard food. Nobody wants to pay $75+ for anything remotely like that. The broken dishes my utensils were served on is a nice touch too. You get what you pay for right?
Guy at the front was so rude and unpleasant. We walked right in and he greeted and helped the people BEHIND us. After that I expected him to help us and he was going to help the people that was also behind us! I said excuse me, we were next and he just rolled his eyes and told us there was a 40 min wait. Mind you we literally just walked in. Made that really easy to decide it wasn't worth the wait and get the hell out of there. Great service🙄🙄
Good food, poor customer service from the front end. the short hostess lady sat a very large party with only 2 burners. Meanwhile, she continued to sit a whole other party on the other end of the table. It was extremely crowded and uncomfortable. After asking if we can have the WHOLE table, she said no, and continued on her way.
Me, my best friend and my brother went this afternoon to eat. You first walk in there is no sign that says we won’t sit your party until everyone has arrived. They told me I had to wait for everyone to arrive. This is lunch time in the middle of the day plenty of seating was free. Second the service was slow. The waitress was nice but it took forever to pay probably over 20 mins after we gave her the card. Finally we all got sick from the food. It’s disappointing as it was the first time me and my brother had kbbq. We definitely cooked everything throughly so I’m not blaming ourselves we ate other things from the kitchen as well. I’m not going back and I’m extremely disappointed.
Not sure how this place gets 4.1 stars. From start to finish, it was the most disappointing Korean BBQ I’ve had. Banchan was minimal and flavorless. The kimchi was bitter, maybe over aged? There was no fish cake, which seems like a staple banchan. Sundubu jjigae tasted like minestrone, very tomato-y with firm tofu, japchae was plain glass noodles with raw-tasting vegetables. The Korean fried chicken seemed like it was from the freezer with sauce drizzled on. Even the kimchi fried rice was a flop. The meat was no better. Beef bulgogi was thick and chewy, samgyupsal came as one thick unscored slab. Apparently you have to pay $20 extra per person for the cuts other places serve as standard. Poor quality, bland flavors, and not worth the price.
Do not get served by Juana R if you are Asian. Enjoyable food but terrible service. I have been coming for years and I genuinely like KBBQ, but one of the servers here is absolutely terrible. I went a few months back and the server was very rude to my family. She acted as if she couldn’t understand them despite them speaking fluent English. She’s genuinely a racist person. I would never recommend this location to another Asian person. Other races will have a lovely time as she actually will serve them. I went today, and she exhibited the same behavior. She took a while to seat my table, even though there were only 2 tables dining at the time. She pretended as if she couldn’t understand me and even laughed at my order, and not in a teasing manner. She tried to ignore me and only talk to my friend. My white friend ordered AFTER me yet received her dishes 2 minutes after the order was placed. I reminded the server 16 minutes after mine was placed and she put on a smile and told me to be patient. I received my order 22 minutes later. Every time I tried to get her attention she brushed me off or told me she’d be right back. I had to ask for kimchi 4 times, and she insisted that she brought it, ignoring the fact that our table was empty. When my friend asked for it, it was brought out right away. When I asked for just one more side of cabbage kimchi, she disappeared for a half hour and then dropped off cucumber kimchi. She also waited until we were nearly done to change our grill, and at that point the whole thing was black. The table across from us were Latinos and it was clear that she was paying extra attention to them. I wouldn’t mind if it was just a one off thing, but as more customers came, she kept prioritizing Latino tables. She gave them their orders 2-7 minutes after they were placed. She brushed aside an Asian couple that came in as well as white tables. It’s disgusting that she possesses this level of bigotry and prejudice. Do not go if you are Asian. You will receive the wrong orders, get crappy service, and be put down.
