Best Artisan Empanadas

I love their empanadas! They’re crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. They were very filling and the prices were reasonable. I’m definitely coming back. The place is so cute! It’s a great snack if you want something fast and delicious. Try all of their sauces!

We have been going to Big E's Cafe off the 85 for over 10 years, so when we found out another empanada space opened we knew we had to try it to see if it was as good as Big E's. To our surprise, the owner was there! He told us he purchased this location a few years ago and wanted to make the space and concept a little different but with the same quality empanadas! Honestly, they are so good. The exact same flavor and quality from Big E's, but with an expanded lunch menu. We were sooo full.

Absolutely love this little place. Super cozy vibes and cheery atmosphere. Recently remodeled to make it even more bright and pleasant, with tons of natural light. You even have a view of the Santa Cruz mountains as you sit down. Empanadas are delicious and unique. Also, very kind and pleasant staff members. Highly recommend for a little quiet place to enjoy coffee and a bite.

I got the savory lomo Saltado with a side of green sauce (not sure what it’s called) 7/10 And a sweet apple cranberry empanada 10/10 Pizza empanada 10/10 Stopped at this spot on my lunch and so glad I did. The service is great and the restaurant gives a nice cafe vibe where you can work and eat. 9/10 good food, great vibe for lunch on a budget. They are going through a remodeling so I’m excited to go back and try the rest of empanadas

The empanadas are great, high quality, not greasy, delicous with fresh ingredients. My favorites are Lomo and Chicken Mushroom. I highly recommend these two first. The one in the picture is Chicken Mushroom. Enjoy from your order.🫓

THE best artisan empanadas. The name is not deceiving. They are DELICIOUS! I had the potato egg and cheese and it was to die for. Their potatoes with feta cheese and parsley are very good as well. I ordered chimichurri as sauce and dipped everything in it. I wish they bottled it so I could take some home with me. It is THAT good. We sat outside, as the weather was beautiful. They have two small tables. Parking is free and easy to come by. Highly highly recommend this place.

This place is a hidden gem! Seriously some of the best empanadas I’ve had, and tons of options. Sweet, savory, you name it! All of the ones we tried were great. The salad it comes with it super fresh, and the potatoes were perfectly cooked as well. Coffee was tasty and made to order. The sauces were also delicious and tasted homemade. 🤤 A great spot! Fast and wonderful service as well. 🥟

Nice place to get some work done in the morning. Came in on a Friday and had the chicken cilantro and the potato,egg, and cheese empanadas with hot chocolate and an iced mocha. All I can say is that the food hit the spot! It was tasty, flaky, and full of flavor. Service was nice, quick, and friendly. Will definitely revisit.

Not every empanada place is created equal and this place definitely deserves its name! I had the chicken mushroom variety and it knocked my socks off! Flavor was right and wonderfully creamy and the crust was nice and flaky! Friendly staff and plenty of seating but inside and out! You cannot go wrong with this place!

The empanadas were amazing here. They have a few vegetarian options. We took Mediterranean and apple cranberry. Mediterranean was really good with good amount of filling. Loved the apple cranberry one. The whole shop is themed on Peru and the atmosphere is awesome. Highly recommend this place for some good peruvian empanadas!

I ate one with: 🐔Chicken Cilantro $5.35 (here were a lot of cilantro (in my opinion). The dough was tasty, filling was rich and not dry. 🇮🇪 italian style: sausages, cheese, a tomato sauce. I like Italian style kitchen, but here this empanadas wasn't tasty. Maybe it was a sauce (too much?). Next time I would like to try other empanadas.

Place was good and quiet on Wednesday morning. If the crowd’s less, they aren’t cleaning table right away, I was finding crumbs on the table. They bake their empanadas I believe, tasted fresh. I’d give it a try.

I really enjoyed this experience as the food was delicious and fresh, the employees greeted everyone with a smile and extreme patience for first timers with many questions. The interior is a cute little setup and is generally quiet inside while you enjoy your meal. The day I went, I had a party of about 30 people and we were a tight fit but they were able to accommodate us all. It's a bit of a wait for your order as they oven bake their items, not microwave 😊 but the quality is worth it! So thankyou to Stephanie who welcomed us all in with a warm smile and genuine kind personality. To the rest of the staff that day, apologies for the spontaneous visit but we were happy to have had visited your restaurant for the first time and I definitely will be returning when I'm in town

Tasty empanadas and sauces. They have a variety of flavours available - we tried the spicy Thai, mushroom chicken and the pizza one. Single plate empanadas that are somewhere between a snack and a meal. Coffee was good too!

Took almost 40 minutes to get 2 empanadas and a coffee. The chicken and cilantro empanada was fine but they swapped my ham, egg, and cheese with sausage. There wasn't much meat in it anyway but that was disappointing after waiting so long with barely any other customers there
