Delicioso, muy mexicano. La comida muy bien. El Poc Chuc, de los mejores que he probado en la península: muy suave y de tremendo sabor. La picaña bastante competitiva también. El ambiente está padre si te gusta mucho la onda de fiesta mexicana de antaño, con un escandaloso mariachi y gente cantando a todo pulmón, hasta desgañitarse. Uno de los meseros, Memito May, muy simpático, hace unos buenos trucos equilibrando las bebidas sobre su cabeza al caminar para servirlas. En general todo muy bien pero para mí los mariachis son como los niños ajenos: los disfruto mucho media hora y ya después es puro escándalo, ya que se vayan 🤷‍♂️😆. Pero, insisto una vez más: si te gusta o eso estás buscando porque eres viajero y quieres conocer y vivir ese tipo de fiesta, éste es el mejor restaurante de Cancún para ello. Además, se come muy rico y las bebidas están a precios mucho más razonables que en la zona hotelera.

Excelente comida tipica mexicana, el agua de jamaica una delicia. Recomiendo los tacos. Buenos precios y atención al cliente. No se si son Pet friendly pero a mi me dejaron entrar con mi perrito.

La Parrilla es mucho más que un restaurante: es un verdadero espectáculo de cultura y tradición mexicana. Desde que entras, te envuelve un ambiente festivo y colorido, con mariachis que no solo cantan, sino que ofrecen presentaciones animadas que reflejan el folclore local. La comida es sabrosa, abundante y bien presentada. Si bien los precios son un poco más elevados en comparación con otros lugares, vale totalmente la pena por la calidad de los platos y la experiencia en general. Es ideal para quienes buscan probar la cocina mexicana en un ambiente auténtico y con un toque de espectáculo. La atención fue excelente: los meseros son muy atentos, carismáticos y hasta hacen acrobacias con las bandejas de tequila en la cabeza, lo que aporta un toque único y divertido a la visita.

Comida abundante a precio asequible. El lugar es precioso, muy típico mexicano. Pedimos un burrito y unos nachos a compartir y nos quedamos llenos.

Al principio pensé que era un restaurante muy orientado a turistas, pero si bien lo es, la calidad es realmente muy buena y el sobreprecio en la comida es tolerable. La atención es buena, las porciones super abundantes y el ambiente es ameno para un turista, volvería.

Llegamos al rededor de las 8pm y no había mucha gente pero ya había músicos tocando, el servicio fue rápido, todos muy amables y atentos, era cumpleaños de mi sobrina y sin pedirlo, le llevaron un pastel pequeño a la mesa y los músicos le cantaron las mañanitas, la foto del recuerdo fue increíble, los meseros al llevar las bebidas a la mesa es muy peculiar y original. La comida sabía bien, aunque las margaritas no sabían ni un poco a alcohol. Los baños estaban limpios.

Food is delicious. The service and decor were both excellent. We celebrated New Year's there, and it was a truly unforgettable dinner. The only thing to complain about is that the band only plays if a guest pays them. Because of this, we didn't get to enjoy much music during our dinner. Amazing all the way around! I see low reviews and they must be off nights. The food was delicious. Ordered the octopus and guacamole for apps and not a bite was left. Our group of 10 ordered all different things, ceviche, mole enchiladas, shrimp skirt steak tacos and fajitas, all with fresh hot tortillas. Our server, Memito, made the visit spectacular! He obviously loves his job and took great care of us on top of being a consummate performer💕 If you're on vacation this is definitely a place you should check out! It's been here for 51 years and there is a reason!

Weekend buffet and a A La Carte. Both options are great, excellent carne asada, and local dishes as cochinera pibil, hand made tortillas, mole, flautas, chile rellenos, paella, Arroz blanco, empanadas de carne y queso, aguas frescas súper Deliciosas .. and many more!! AC, fans, clean overall, restrooms with AC, clean and in good shape. I recommend this restaurant to both locals and tourists.

This was my favorite place to eat in of all of Cancun. Don’t listen to the other reviews. This place is awesome especially if you like Moles! The buffet is awesome 👏🏽 i’m still thinking about the food today. That’s how good it was. we took a bus and then we had to take a taxi, but it was well worth it, if you are a foodie.

We ended up here by accident on January 4, 2025, while searching for another restaurant recommended by a friend’s sister, but fate had a better plan! When our initial choice was closed, we turned to our Uber driver for a suggestion. He confidently recommended La Parrilla in downtown Cancun on Yaxchilan Street. Initially, I was skeptical, worried it might be a tourist trap. I asked, “Would you bring your mother here?” His enthusiastic “yes” was enough to convince us to give it a try. When we arrived around 12:30-1 PM, the restaurant was nearly empty, which gave me pause. However, the welcoming staff immediately set a positive tone. It quickly became clear this was a spot frequented by locals rather than tourists, and we discovered why. La Parrilla offered a seafood and meat buffet for just $21 USD, and it was an absolute delight! Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared. The handmade tortillas, crafted before our eyes, were a standout, as was the vibrant paella. Our server, Memito, was incredible—friendly, attentive, and fun! He even carried our drinks on his head, adding a touch of entertainment to the impeccable service. As time passed, the restaurant started to fill with locals, and a lively trio of musicians began playing, creating a wonderfully festive atmosphere. A few tips for future visitors: • This location is outside the Hotel Zone, about an hour from resorts like Paradisus using public transportation. • Be specific with your Uber driver to ensure you’re taken to the downtown Yaxchilan Street location. This hidden gem exceeded all expectations, and I’m so glad we trusted our Uber driver’s recommendation. It’s a spot worthy of him bringing his mother—and we’ll definitely be returning the next time we’re in Cancun!

We walked in on a random Sunday afternoon. We wanted to get out outside of our resort and was recommended to stop here to eat by our Uber driver. It had a very fun atmosphere and they are currently had a buffet going which we did not partake in. However, we did most certainly go and peek at what there was and how we’ve been hungrier most definitely would indulge in the buffet option. We did get chips and salsa upon arrival at no charge, which was a nice touch. I got a Michelada and he ordered a light Dos Equis . I also got the queso fundido, with no extras or meat. That was divine! It came with hot tortillas Charro beans guacamole with onions on top. Needless to say I was very full, so I only ended up getting one pasta or taco. Be advised the pastor taco of which I only wanted one, does not come with Charro beans or onions. My partner got steak fajitas and it was a massive portion. It was also Delicioso. We were stuffed by the end. We would most certainly recommend. The only downside naturally was the language barrier, but we got through it all right and hopefully the waiters did too. We paid a little over US$60 in total including tip. Which amounted to about 1250 Mexican pesos.

Recommended by the taxi driver, me and my family ate so much, we really enjoyed it. There is a sign on the napkins that says you have a free photo, which this lady takes and then she goes off and prints it and frames it and then if you did want it, that’s when you have to pay for it. There was a band as well that came in and if you want them to play a song for you they charge 150 Mexican $. Please find attached photos of the menu + the food. Drinks are enormous and some of them come on their heads. Tip is not included but we were a family of 5 adults, and the bill came to around 4,260$ Mexican Pesos

I recently dined at La Parrilla restaurant in Cancun and it was an outstanding dining experience. The restaurant has a rustic and cozy ambiance that welcomes you in and makes you feel right at home. From the moment I walked in, I could smell the delicious aroma of grilled meats and spices. The menu features a wide variety of traditional Mexican dishes, with a special emphasis on grilled meats and seafood. I started with the traditional guacamole and it was made fresh and delicious. For the main course, I had the Grilled steak and it was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. The portions were generous and the presentation of the dishes was beautiful. The sides were also delicious, I particularly enjoyed the refried beans and the grilled vegetables. The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and they made sure that we had everything we needed. The drinks menu also has a great variety of options. One of the highlights of the evening was wearing the fun sombrero hats with our friends and taking pictures. I highly recommend La Parrilla restaurant to anyone visiting Cancun looking for a traditional Mexican dining experience with great food and service.

Para ser mi primera experiencia con la comida mexicana, el restaurante me pareció bastante bueno. La comida rica, buena atención y amena. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra cena aquí, acompañado de los mariachis. Lo que opaca un poco la experiencia es que te dicen me regalas una foto, te hacen tomar la foto con los sombreros de mariachi y luego te quieren cobrar cada foto mal editada, mal tomada, mal impresa a 20 dólares cada una. Me pareció un exceso, fuera de esa mala experiencia con las fotos, el resto me pareció súper bien. Consejo, no se dejen tomar las fotos si no desean pagarlas, esto se ve en varios lugares.

Lugar donde puedes comer disfrutando de unos mariachis. La comida y la atención es de 10. Algo caro quizá pero en la línea de lo que hay en Cancún. Camareros y camareras muy majos. la parrilla fue mi primer restaurante al llegar a cancun y la temática del lugar es muy buena y entretenida, usualmente van mariachis a cantar por un precio por cada canción elegida, la comida no es tan buena desde mi punto de vista pero la experiencia del restaurante me gusto.

Fui un miércoles alrededor de las 4:00 p.m. y la experiencia en general fue buena. El ambiente es agradable y el concepto de comida local está bien logrado. El plato de fajitas estuvo bien preparado, con buen sabor y porción adecuada. Los cócteles también están bien y los meseros tuvieron muy buena disposición y actitud durante toda la atención. Sin embargo, desde mi experiencia, el postre no fue de mi agrado. Es uno de esos que preparan en la mesa, lo cual hace parte del show y es llamativo, pero me pareció demasiado dulce. La combinación de piña (que ya es una fruta dulce) con varios jarabes adicionales, helado, coco y un pequeño chorro de tequila terminó siendo muy empalagosa. Considero que no era necesario agregar tantos elementos azucarados, ya que la sensación final no fue tan agradable. En general es un buen lugar, pero podrían mejorar el equilibrio de sabores en ese tipo de postres para que la experiencia sea aún mejor.

Bueno, al final terminas pagando más el local que la cantidad y sabor de la comida, gaste 660 pesos (35 Lucas), en una comida para uno, en Playa del Carmen en un local normalillo el plato tenía más carne, el local es muy cómodo y tiene música en vivo, es para vivir la experiencia, el servicio estuvo muy bueno me atendieron bien :)

Fui un dia de semana algo apagado pero me atendieron muy bien, todos fueron amables y la comida muy rica mi primer plato mexicano fue aqui y puedo asegurar que se esmeraron mucho todo estaba delicioso ahora la parte mala fue que aunque me dieron unos voucher de coctel gratis no me dijeron que para lo que pedi no me servian h al final me parecio algo costosa toda la comida pero como fue deliciosa no me molesto y lo unico fue que pedi dar una propina de 5% pero me sugirieron el 10% honestamente no soy fan de las propinas.

Muy céntrico, muy mexicano, música en vivo de un Trío mexicano y luego un mariachi (no se los horarios en los que están), muy turístico, sabor delicioso con muy buenos precios en relación a la comida y bebida. Place is definitely a tourist trap and the prices reflect that, but still was a good experience! Food was super tasty, they brought out chips and guac to start which was very nice then I had steak and onions which was accompanied with tortillas, rice and I'm not sure what kind of pastry or something it was but it had a sauce inside. The fish tacos were incredibly good also. There was a mariachi band going table to table offering to play a song at 150pesos which is reasonable for all the members. The service was good our server and the other staff that brought food etc were nice too. Definitely prefer the locals spot but as a one off it was nice

Nice place overall! This was our first restaurant while in Cancun, and it had pretty good food, good service, nice atmosphere, but a little pricey. The Azteca soup was so delicious and rich. Highly recommended!! Both of our dishes were decent, although both lacking a little seasoning and both were a bit pricey. I think this was more of a touristy place. But overall, a decent experience, but not our favorite restaurant in Cancun.

The servers are great! Food is wonderful. Perfect place for large groups and family dinners. There are mariachis playing around for an extra charge. A guy with a tower of drinks juggling on his head. Overall great atmosphere. The cons, no AC, it's really humid and hot. Also, when the check showed up the server was pushing to request 20% service tip. Because they saw we were foreign. We know the standard in Mex for tipping is 10% but the fact that they kept asking for more should be brought up with management.

Comida mexicana en un sitio muy autentico y divertido. Las margaritas y mezcalitas estaban muy buenas aunque algunos platos no estaban a la altura cono las quesadillas de camarones., el picante no picaba nada, a mi parecer estaba muy acorde al paladar turista que no acostumbra a tomar cosas picantes. Una pena! Recomiendo el sitio para ir en familia y grupos grandes ya resulta cómodo para encuentros numerosos.

Fui con mi flia ellos tuvieron una buena experiencia. Yo pedí pulpo, me lo trajeron en mal estado, ya a la distancia se sentía el mal olor. It's a tourist trap. I don't know what else to say. Food is super mediocre, very poorly seasoned. Meats are sliced so thin for the grilled meats for 2 they could be paper. Salsas have no flavour. We asked for mas picante and it still wasn't picante. Everything is expensive, prepare for all main courses to be at least 500 pesos on the lower end. Drinks are extremely expensive too, running around 250-300 pesos for the entry level margaritas. Some drinks can run 1500 pesos!!! Service is good though, but they are constantly running around a large restaurant with too few servers. Some gimmicky desserts look very dangerous with fire, liqueur, and ladders involved lol. Mariachi band comes in around 830-9pm ish and demands 1500 pesos per song. They look really sad :(. Save your money and go to parque de las palapas or any random stall on the street!

This spot has an awesome vibe! The decor and music make you feel like you’re right in the heart of Mexico, which is a really cool experience. It’s got that fun, lively atmosphere that’s perfect for a night out with friends. However, the food and service were pretty average. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really wowed us either. Recommended for the atmosphere and the experience, but don’t set your expectations too high for the food or service.
