I had lunch with my family and some friends on January 1, 2026. A quaint, rustic restaurant with furnishings (objects) that evoke memories of happy times gone by. You feel enveloped in a comfortable, clean, and warm atmosphere. The service is fast, impeccable, and always attentive to the customer's every need. The dishes, from appetizers to dessert, are top-notch, no matter what you choose. Finally, there's the owner, extremely kind, friendly, and available to answer any questions. This delightful restaurant is located about 200-300 meters from the Candela highway exit. I don't recommend it, I highly recommend it. The orecchietta (burnt wheat pasta) with ragù sauce is a must-try.

I went there for lunch today and had a wonderful meal off the set holiday menu. Authentic local products, quality cuisine, and a charming location with collectibles like Vespas and other items. It's a farmhouse in the Apulian countryside with a restaurant and B&B. The veranda overlooking the courtyard is very pretty. The only downside, perhaps because from what I've heard there was a lack of staff today, was the slow service...but that can happen, especially on holidays.

We ordered pizza by the meter and it was a wonderful experience. Excellent, with delicious dough and authentic ingredients in delicious combinations; the service was friendly, fast, and helpful. The best part is the location, as the restaurant hall is a veritable museum of rural culture, with countless artifacts hanging on the walls that recall the ancient agricultural and pastoral life of the municipality of Candela, the end of one of the main sheep tracks used for transhumance between Puglia and Abruzzo. But it doesn't end there; the restaurant also features many modern antiques, from old typewriters to signs, from vintage radios to objects commonly used decades ago; finally, at the restaurant entrance, valuable old motorcycles such as Guzzi Stornellos, as well as various types of Vespas and Lambrettas. In short, here you can enjoy fine cuisine combined with a cultural immersion in our history.

Another lunch stop just off the autostrada. Why settle for something poor and expensive in an 'Autogrill' when you can have a fantastic lunch for less, in a nice environment, with great service and choice of fresh local food. Easy to find off the exit at Candela, 2-3 minutes by car.

We needed to stop for a quick dinner on a long road trip. Beautiful quirkily decorated place, what a find! Dress smartly or casually. Our waiter was so welcoming, the food was perfect. We were fully refreshed for the last part of our journey.

Ottima situazione, con Ercole, il proprietario, che colleziona tante cose antiche ed ha reso il suo spazio fantastico. Si mangia benissimo, ad un chilometro dall'autostrada ed oltretutto, ricarica elettrica superveloce !!! Non manca nulla. Super consigliato. A dimenticavo, non andate via senza almeno un litro d'olio...

Siamo stati a L’Orecchietta, un risto-museo davvero particolare situato allo svincolo dell’autostrada di Candela, e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti! L’ambiente è curato nei minimi dettagli, con uno stile vintage che lo rende unico e accogliente, quasi un viaggio nel tempo. Il menù propone piatti tipici della tradizione pugliese, cucinati con grande attenzione alla qualità. Le orecchiette al tegamino sono state eccezionali, ricche di sapore e perfettamente mantecate. Anche la carne locale merita una menzione speciale: tenera, saporita e cotta alla perfezione. Un posto ideale per chi ama la cucina autentica e le atmosfere particolari. Torneremo sicuramente!

Sono stato al ristorante per la cena. La cameriera è stata molto gentile e preparata. Le pietanze sono molto buone e ben preparate.

Extremely convenient, just 500 meters from the highway exit, and discovered by chance. Excellent food and reasonable prices. The motorcycle museum is beautiful, a joyful and nostalgic step back in time. I highly recommend it to everyone, even for a pleasant stop.

Let’s say that since It become “famous “ with the Camionisti in Trattoria TV show, the portion of the dishes changed sensibly, this is my personal opinion, cause I am a fan of this show and normally, they show places where You can eat good food at reasonable price. However the place is very very nice, staff friendly and professional, the quality of food good but the prices are a bit too high.I haven’t seen any truck parked there so I presume that once was a place for them now it is something else.

Locale ricco di cimeli storici che vanno dalle vespe/moto agli attrezzi agricoli a quelli delle cucine rurali. Tutto molto curato. Orecchiette in teglia al forno molto buone, antipasti deludenti per quantità e prezzo. Servizio gentile ma troppo lento (poco personale per i coperti presenti) insomma qualcosa da rivedere per avere più stelle

Sicuramente è un luogo dove poter ammirare dei preziosi oggetti antichi che ti accolgono e accompagnano per tutte le sale, molto particolare come location che certamente rispecchia il nome!! Ci siamo fermati per una sosta io, mia moglie e nostro figlio di piccola età e mi dispiace non dover dare un buon voto per il servizio e per il cibo ma purtroppo devo dire che nonostante siamo stati accolti bene, abbiamo aspettato almeno 15 minuti davanti alla cassa prima di essere accompagnati al tavolo e poi ci siamo andati da soli, il cibo non era quello che ci aspettavamo!! Ripeto che mi dispiace perché una volta seduti hanno anche cercato di servirci il più presto possibile e sicuramente siamo capitati in un momento difficile dove si trovavano solo in due persone a dover accogliere e servire tutta la gente che arrivava e cercava un po' di ristoro!! Alla fine del pranzo abbiamo trovato finalmente un'altra persona alla cassa a sostenere il servizio, avevo due persone davanti a me a fare il pagamento e quando toccava a me l'operatore a pensato bene di farci aspettare ancora per fare delle foto ricordo, pessima scelta!! Non è possibile gestire un ristorante in quel modo in quella posizione cosi strategica!! Quando ci ritroveremo a dover affrontare un viaggio e passare per Candela e magari pensare di fermarci nuovamente a mangiare al RistoMuseo, spero di trovare una diversa spinta nel locale!! Buona fortuna a tutto lo staff

Ci siamo fermati al ritorno da Matera, esperienza non proprio positiva. Tempi lunghi. Servizio raffazzonato. Non rispetto dell'ordine delle comande. Da non ripetere

La cucina odierna LASCIA MOLTO A DESIDERARE!!! Gradiremmo molto che tornaste alle vecchie tradizioni culinarie e di accoglienza. Né più e né meno le stesse che vi hanno portato alla notorietà e stima che avete guadagnato in tutti questi anni… Forza ragazzi!!! A presto!!!!!

1/2 metro di pizza 50€ , bruciata! Ormai questo è il prezzo che si spende ma un pò ovunque aggiungendo il coperto e le birre 5€ l' una ci si arriva facile... e qui meno una stella per la mancanza del prezzo ottimale, le altre 2 invece le ho tolte una per l' impasto della pizza il quale nei bordi risulta crudo e gommoso e l' altra per la qualità degli ingredienti (polpettine indigeste). Personale gentile e locale arredato in un museo di articoli storici, sconsigliato!

Fermato x necessità... Porto un mezzo pesante e me lo ha consigliato un collega!!! X vedere il menù devi usare ilQR code...la sera no pizza!!! Solo menù alla carta😒 Prezzi molto sopra la media e nessun menù fisso da proporre!!!☹️ Ordino una costata di vitello..... In pratica la fettina con osso... La costata sicuramente è costata visto il prezzo 18€ con un po' di carote e insalata e 10 patate fritte!!!! Peccato,un posto comodo da raggiungere che potrebbe fare molto molto meglio di così!!!! Solo x turisti !!!

Migliorare il servizio e le qualità, non manca la professionalità ma la tranquillità nel gestire l'ambiente e il lavoro . Saper dirigere il personale non e da tutti specialmente se non si da tranquillità e comprensione . Si può sempre migliorare ,tempo e pazienza si raggiunge resilienza

The place is ok for spending the night, but the restaurant experience was mediocre. The place was filled with truckers, and the atmosphere, the service and the food was what you would expect from a cantina in a steel factory. We paid 20€/p, for entree and main course. The entree was sift cheese with honey and nuts, but the honey and nuts were nowhere to be seen. Water, no wine, no desert, no coffee. Staff speaks nothing but rattling Italian and no effort was done to explain the spoken menu.

Una pessima esperienza un menù fisso a 35euro per me' era pessimo un antipasto misero una fetta di prosciutto crudo una mozzarellina da 50 grammi poi piccoli pezzi di schifezze primi piatti pessimi i secondi da rivedere

My family and I decided to stop for lunch at this restaurant as we were passing through on our way back from vacation, as it's located near the highway exit. We waited 40 minutes to order because they have an online menu with a QR code, which was rudely provided to us by the rather annoyed waitress, as if we had to look for it ourselves since our place card didn't have one. After a few more minutes of waiting, we ordered, and the same waitress, still with an unfriendly attitude, took our order. After another 30 minutes, the starters and two main courses arrived. After finishing our meal, we wanted to order dessert, but we no longer had the QR code because it had been taken away. When we asked to know which desserts were on the menu, which I should point out we didn't have on hand, the same waitress who had taken our orders told us that we should have been careful with the online menu because she claimed she didn't have time to waste! A bitter note about the service, which we find a shame, as the same cannot be said for the food, which we found to be tasty and made with quality ingredients! If I were the owner, I would encourage the staff to be kind and courteous with customers.

I'm giving one star only because it's not possible to give zero. I booked for a Sunday with a set menu, sharing the menu, and after being assured that there were dairy-free dishes, I found myself, after a 40-minute wait, with a different menu with all dishes containing cheese and dairy products. The menu was unchangeable and lacked a list of allergens. The owner was rude, bordering on offensive. We obviously got up and left. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED, ESPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE WITH INTOLERANCES.
