Ci abbiamo mangiato e bevuto, non pernottato. Staff giovane e alla buona, nel migliore dei sensi: cucina nostrale casereccia e genuina con ingredienti di ottima qualità. Ci sono spesso eventi e perlopiù con musica e gente giusta. Uno dei posti della realtà alternativa e rock di Lucca. Ammodo.

Ottimo ostello. Pulito con letti comodi. Pensate che con soli 18 euro a notte vi è l'aria condizionata. Una cosa non da poco nel periodo estivo. Il proprietario Alessandro è una persona molto gentile e disponibile. Mi sono trovato molto bene. Lo consiglio.

Well-stocked area, places to eat nearby, supermarket, bars, a truly beautiful area, the best I've been to in recent years. The price is more than excellent, for the services offered etc. For groups it is truly a level up. I am a young guy, for us it is a perfect place for all the services, in the summer it must be really beautiful, there is a stage and tables outside in a huge garden, I am a musician and I liked this point, as well as from the photos, the drawings, the stickers that I see it is a very friendly place, who understands, understands. The guys who work there are young and helpful, it's true that in the morning you can't find anyone in the rec but you just need to send a message to Marco and you can see each other for a moment for anything. I repeat, excellent value for money, no one in the area asks so little and offers so much, why spend 100 euros for a hotel room when here with 20 you are even better off on everything? Even dogs are allowed if I knew I was bringing my little Haze. Obviously, you don't have the privacy of being alone, your stay can be influenced by who you are in the room with, I had two people who minded their own business so everything was ok. The only flaw, one bathroom is broken, it should be fixed, and even the door of my bathroom where the shower area is I would have preferred to be closed, of course if someone hears that the shower is going and enters me it is not really intelligent of them. I appreciated the photos of Bansky's drawings, the classic comics like Nathan Never in the shared areas and various photos that are very in line with my mindset. Both on the first and second floors large terraces for smoking. What more can I say? I'll be back for sure. It would be cool to go with friends and get a whole room and its beds for several days, throwing some summer parties. From there on foot there is public transport or in any case within a radius of 100 meters there is really everything from a supermarket, pizzeria, pharmacy etc. I felt at fault for not having been there before.

Not super fancy but good rooms, bed, patio and affordable drinks/ cocktails at the bar. There's a couple of good restaurants close by as well. Very close to Pisa as well

Awesome hostel, bar and restaurant...Super friendly owners make this place a real gem...large airy rooms with lockers, clean bathrooms and great low price...the bar is awesome with lots of friendly locals, live music at weekends...the jugs of local wine are the best I've tasted...This place is perfect to visit florence and lucca...for a fraction of the price...Enjoy

Super friendly staff who are happy to help & give advice. Clean room, clean bathrooms, excellent food and wine at lunch and dinner for extremely reasonable prices for the quality you get. The location is very relaxed and tranquil, is serviced by bus or a 45 walk, I started walking & put my thumb out just on the off-chance & a local stopped straight away and gave me a lift, so worth trying.

Nice hostel located a few kilometers from Lucca, it's easy to get to the center by bus or bike. The staff is nice, friendly and the restaurant is great with local dishes 😀

Ho passato qui una notte trovandomi a lucca ed impossibilitata a rientrare. Prenotazione facile e veloce tramite booking, ho richiesto di avere uno dei letti in basso e mi hanno prontamente risposto che me ne avrebbero dato uno. All'arrivo l'Ostello si presenta molto bene, ordinato e di gradevole aspetto, check in veloce con pagamento anticipato. Su booking non è indicata la quantità di letti presenti in stanza, ma nelle foto se ne vedono 4 (ovvero 2 a castello); al mio arrivo in stanza invece conto ben 7 posti letto. Per me comunque non è un problema; il bagno era pulito, non munito di asciugamani ma per un ostello è abbastanza normale. I posti letto NON sono numerati, ognuno entra e sceglie il letto (per cui in realtà la mia richiesta non era stata poi tanto presa in considerazione); comunque ho passato una notte tranquilla, camera silenziosa ed arieggiata. Seconda cosa che mi ha lasciata abbastanza perplessa è la mancanza della colazione, che era invece stata indicata come compresa nel prezzo al momento della prenotazione. E non c'era nessuno a cui chiedere nonostante fossero le 8:30. Alla fine sono andata a farla in un bar. Il parcheggio è molto vicino alla struttura e non ho fatto fatica a trovarla anche senza navigatore. Nonostante queste disattenzioni ci tornerei

L'ostello è nuovo, ben attrezzato e pulito. La gestione molto informale e la disponibilità degli operatori permettono di sentirsi a proprio agio. Le stanze sono climatizzate. Non abbiamo potuto apprezzare la cucina che il 16 agosto era chiusa, però ci è stata indicata una buona pizzeria in convenzione.

Posto molto bello con tavolini all'aperto e pulito anche la toilette è pulita personale molto disponibile e gentile e cordiale prezzi buoni ottima la pizza e antipasti consiglio di provarlo . Come sempre io prendo la pasta al forno che era molto buona.

Ho soggiornato qui una notte durante il mio cammino. Ragazzi molto gentili, disponibili, bella accoglienza. Cena buona a prezzi giusti. Molto gradita la colazione self. Lo consiglio.

I didn't use the rooms, I went there for dinner, a spartan place, but definitely pleasant, few dishes but tasty, friendly and helpful staff, fair prices, but the thing I appreciated most is that every now and then they have live music, which for me is an added value.

Si potrebbe fare di meglio. Il gestore è sbrigativo e non spiega le strutture dell' ostello. I bagni sono abbastanza sporchi (non terribilmente considerando che si tratta di un ostello) ma ci vorrebbe poco ad averne più cura... Carta igenica non centellinata... qualche attaccapanni. e soprattutto non strutture elettriche che sembrano raffazzonate... In una struttura apparentemente nuova. Nonostante si sia in percorsi tipo via francigena considerate che c'é forte presenza di giovani (e casino anche di notte). Al mattino il personale non si vede... Almeni fino alle 9.00 e diversi clie ti se ne vanno senza potere usufruire del bar. Quello che considero un punto debole per me potrebbe essere un punto forte per un giovane che si vuole divertire. Segnalo che ci sono diversi strumenti musicali a disposizione. Con più pulizia e poche accortezze il voto potrebbe essere migliore.... E fatelo uno sforzo.. Non trovare il personale di una struttura turistica a colazione..... è davvero da pivelli

Bella struttura con ottimo potenziale, ragazzi gentili e disponibili. Tuttavia la valutazione è molto negativa in quanto, nonostante l'ostello fosse pieno solo a metà, la sporcizia era allucinante. Sia delle camere sia dei bagni. Non ho provato il ristorante

(10 maggio 2025) personale simpatico. Posto con grandi potenzialità ma curato pochissimo e molto sporco, con molte cose rotte (lavandino, serratura...). Ci sono immondizie un po' ovunque.

A scam, an abandoned place. We didn't see a single soul during our entire stay; people were sleeping everywhere, it was filthy, and there was no air conditioning. Don't be fooled by the photos. Booking.com knows this and continues to allow them to scam people. And to prevent you from leaving a review, they cancel your reservation when you leave.

I'm sorry to be blunt but the place has great potential... except that the service is poor if not non-existent and the staff is not at all professional... The place is dirty and not adequately equipped for dinner and after dinner... furthermore the stage in the garden is dangerous and unsafe as it has iron blades that stick out and can hurt customers... I'm a very easy-going person but the Salana is really poorly managed and looked after... guys think about it because it's a shame!!!!!!
